Percy I know I've seen Oliver used pretty often but I like the idea of Percy helping Molly in the kitchen as a kid and so he's just always known more or less how to cook While Oliver is more focused on making food that's good for Quidditch vs like tasty food so can he cook? yes. will it be bland as hell? also yes

2. What their love letters look like

I think the war fucked them up when it comes to letters so even years later anything they write to each other is very to the point and at times even like coded? Like they still sign as From instead of love even years later

3. Which one outlives the other, and how they cope

dfshgfhsgf I feel like this could go either way. But if i had to pick I think Oliver would die first because if they are together Oliver would make sure Percy's taking care of himself but no one not even Percy could keep Oliver off the Quidditch pitch and that's just one accident away from dying I think regardless of how it went down that Percy would blame himself like crazy over it because he'll always find something that he thinks now that he could have done even when its not true

4.What they do on date night

What do you even do on a date night uh ok I think a normal date for them is staying home and doing their own things but just with company maybe maybe they visit Muggle london occasionally and go shopping or something or go out to eat Not the Movies though the dark space and loud noise mix freaks Percy out even though he tries to hide it

5. How many kids they’ll have

Typically for Any Percy ship when I think about kids I do like four? Molly and Lucy then one from the partners last partner In Oliver's case I typically call him Cypress and one that they either adopt or have together a couple years after getting together Who I typically call Leon regardless of pairing because in most situations he's a Gryffindor because I like giving Percy a full set of Hogwarts house kids and i think its funny

6. How they decorated their bedroom

Cluttered but not like super cluttered like it's not a Lovewater bedroom like two desks that always have something going on on top of them I think Oliver has a whiteboard and they have a rug that's soft enough to sit on for when they need to like spread work on the floor I also think none of the other rooms in the house are as cluttered and they spend more time in there then like the living room

Dinner at home honestly maybe they just don't leave the house all day in an attempt to the other relax typically this fails

ok. so. chase is burnt out, thats rlly sad 😭 hope he isnt too burnt out that its effecting him way more than he can handle,

his beach boys outfit is adorable. deacon not being on the island and chase being stuck with buddy i knew was gonna be terrible from the start. when i saw chase hand buddy a water bottle to light the fire i thought it was sweet that they were getting along, same with buddy telling chase he can have the second fish.

at first, i thought buddy was hearing the whispers so i didnt really think much of it.

the “buddy being a vampire and chase freaking out” was really funny, i found that hilarious and just chase thinking buddy was cute (even if he said it was in “a jerk way”, it was still nice and i wonder how that will go down (after the most recent chapter)

buddys face when chase pulled the chocolate out looked like a dog seeing a ball, it was adorable ngl

my heart sank when chase made a comment about buddy not being treated well and then buddy shivered.. like hm i seriously wonder how he actually is being treated, yk? like all we see of him is him being a jerk and just genuinely not giving a shit about anyone or anything (until the most recent chapter in which ill get into that in a second..)

i found it sweet that chase wanted to help buddy, even if all buddy has been towards him was rude. shows what type of person chase is and it makes me love his character so much, everyone needs their own chase lol

i know buddys main goal is to get the keys, and so it would be very unlikely that he would throw that away to become friends with chase, but man. when chase called him out on it and the shattered heart image in the background… awh man.

the small fight they had was sad, but once buddy left chase was sitting on the ground crying, i may be wrong but i dont think we have seen him crying until now, right? brb lemme go check

ok i like reread the entire thing and few times we saw him cry was when we saw him visit myra for the first time in the story (that we see ofc) and it was just for a split second, and also in the same episode visiting his fathers grave, he seemed to cry a smige more but thats all.

+ while doing the research for that, i realized that in the very first episode chase got a black eye and when he went out of the book, he didnt have it anymore. so (again ill get into this when i get into the most recent chapter and what happened then) but at the same time, the second episode was more of a “hey! this is how this mess started!” sorta thing, so we dont know the timing of it.

in the morning when chase wakes up and sees buddy, from the way buddy is speaking im pretty sure he was upset about the conversation the night before too, as he’s never been that violent with anything towards chase before. im not saying buddy is a violent person, but at the same time, its concerning a bit how he took “the two characters have an argument “ and his anger took over him and make it a hostile argument instead of verbal.

“and if they do make you miserable, you deserve it” hm i get that chase is upset, i mean buddy is quite literally being a psychopath at this point in the story, but man.. when i read that i was just in amazement that that came to mind, i dont blame the guy ofc but still. didnt go over well, buddy seemed to be pretty affected by it, which brings up again, i do genuinely wonder how the ex libris is treating him to make him so easily shaken / angry when its brought up.

buddy hurt chase. now to be fair, chase sorta (i think) kicked him and made buddy land face first in the sand etc. but he didnt draw blood. buddy drew blood, now what i noticed when this happened is buddys first instinct was to drop the spear and instantly basically panic. its clear he didnt genuinely mean to hurt chase, but he still did.

now as said above, we dont know if these injuries can travel from book to real life, as we dont have solid proof that they do. but its obvious, even if its fake, that the characters still feel it, so that must have hurt a lot (ofc it did lynx you dumbass bro is literally bleeding on his face 😒) but if they do travel to the real world, how is chase going to hide it? its a slash under his eye on his cheek, decent size too. doesnt seem that easy to cover. i mean, he does have like 47 skin care products so maybe he can cover it with that somehow but im not sure

back onto the point above, buddy’s first instinct was to (first pause and stare) and then drop the spear, making it clear he didnt mean nor, even want to hurt chase maybe. buddy is usually good with his words and with what he says, it all comes out perfectly as if he is reading a script when he speaks. he was choking on his words, “trying” to explain why that happened.

“n-no, i-“ “i didnt mean that, i just-“ “i wasnt…”

he was obviously not prepared, nor did he want to. again, he was after the keys, he wasn’t after hurting anyone.

(which this is all quite obvious, however i love to yap and i have no friends in person that also like cinderella boy so shush let me nerd out for a sec)

it kinda felt uncomfortable seeing buddy so.. what’s the word? unsettled? upset? surprised? one of those, maybe all three. this entire episode for the most part felt off putting, buddy not being his “ha i dont care, just go away” persona and instead getting pissy (more that usual) and even upset at the end. it just didnt feel right and its so obvious that after this the next story that chase goes into (if he continues) will be so different compared to these when it comes to interactions with buddy.

“youre just a scum, you know that?” YIKES BRO 😭💀💀 chase is uh yeah i just wanted to mention that line

seeing chase with tears in his eyes, obviously looking genuinely scared and saying “all i wanted to do was help” HURT MY SOUL. again, mentioned above, we rarely see him cry, and the only times we did was when visiting his sick mom and his fathers grave. thats it. the fact that hes cried now twice because of something buddy has done is huge, dont ya think?

chase ran away crying, which ykw i dont blame him, buddy’s body language was also a huge giveaway that he genuinely felt bad because again, hes usually so confident in the way he poses, and from the moment he hurt chase to the end of the episode, he was holding himself, just standing there.

also the fact that the last panel is one of the chocolate bar wrappers blowing towards buddy’s feet was also interesting. like putting salt water into a cut yk? (haha get it cuz theyre on a beach island and chase has a cut.. haha.. okay sorry)

SUMMARY/THEORIES

okay so these were a LOT to take in, and chase being already burnt out might be a reason he cried so easily, but you never know. i think buddy gaining chase’s trust without trying and KNOWING (or probably knowing) he had chases trust and just not caring and broke it without a thought kinda sucks, but as said TWICE. we dont know his situation. for example, what if he will get hurt or someone around him will if he doesnt get these keys? we dont know why he does what he does so we cant really excuse nor can we blame him.

i saw them getting along and from that second i knew it was going to end terribly.

my theory is, that when deacon comes back he will see chase hurt and upset, and buddy either will be no where in sight (very likely) or he will be very quiet and not making a single noise in the background. deacon will see chase, probably be really confused and then realize who chase was around. now, im not that great at reading characters.. unless like i study them HARD so all this next stuff just might be bs, but ima say it anyways because its tumblr.

now, i think once they get out of the book, deacon will beg chase to tell him what happened, if he didnt already in the book, even if deacon already knows without saying. deacon, being deacon, will probably panic, and either 1) try to convince chase its a bad idea to continue. 2) try to convince chase to take a break and make deacon do them for a small period of time (very unlikely). or 3) deacon will be hesitant to continue, but if they do then he will be a lot more protective of chase, and possibly look more into books completely without any sort of villain.

its obvious there could ALSO be other scenarios, but these are the ones i came up with. another is that chase could stop completely, and just give up. but thats HIGHLY unlikely as its literally part of the story and silver and bronze will probably try to support him.

now, with the chase and buddy dynamic… oh wowie. this is a slow burn enemies to lovers story, which means this wont be miserable for a long time, however it still asks the question “well how are they going to react towards one another” and my GOOD friends, who the fuck knows. (punko thats who)

however! its impossible for them to go along and pretend it never happened, because its clear they were both hurt by it. even if it wasnt completely just physically. maybe buddy will stop appearing in the books for a second? what if he’s replaced by another member? ikik unlikely. okok, well what if in the stories buddy just stays quiet and entirely follows along with his character? i feel like that wouldnt last long and i dont think buddys that much of a jerk to try and dodge it. chase? i feel like chase would try to dodge it, i mean after this he has to fear buddy a little right? they could also be a lot meaner to one another, but i also see that as very unlikely. i can see chase being more cold, but for some reason i cant imagine buddy being as rude as he was in the beginning, or even rude to being with.

all in all, i really dont know what theory to go with, MAN I WANNA NERD OUT MORE ABT THIS. 😭😭😭 (yk w someone who will actually listen cuz my friends irl dont give a shit)

after a long day of fun activities, such as cafe hopping and playing bumper cars at the amusement park, you guys finally arrived home to slump on your couch. after ridding of your jackets and shoes, both of you dropped down to the coffee table on the floor by the couch, not making it to the couch because of how tired you guys were from such an eventful day. your feet were so sore from walking all over that you guys couldnt walk back home and had to catch an overpriced uber. it was a relief, or else youd both call off of work tomorrow due to the fatigue. yet you couldnt realllyy blame anyone else because you were quite obstinate on playing the whole day to take advantage of your time together. youll keep a mental note to do a spa day as a date next time. finding the strength, suna got up from his spot on the floor to fetch some drinks from the fridge. “ah, refreshing!” you say as you took a sip, imitating the tiktok audio. suna smiled at you and squeezed your cheeks. how you both managed to stay awake was questionable. after your continuous rounds of roller coasters and playing all sorts of fair games, you still had some energy. you snuggled up against suna’s shoulder on the floor and glanced at one of your photos on display. and you had an idea. “suna hold on a sec, turn on the tv but dont pick anything yet, ill brb” and you scurried away to your room. suna was too tired to question so he only did what you requested. you came back to your spot with a basket of old films and videos/recordings. “these are ancient, you brought them with you when you moved out?” suna was surprised. “well they werent gonna be used at my parents’ anyways. and who knows, maybe we could watch some!” you smiled. and like that, he felt butterflies in his stomach. you guys have known each other for so long and dated for so long, but you still have the same effect on him. you rummaged through and found old recordings of your childhood. “wasnt that when we entered primary school? you were crying that day because we werent in the same class! you even tried to bribe someone to switch classes with you” your face reddened. you were so attached to suna at such a young age, and him bringing those memories back was a little bit embarrassing. “well i got over it didnt i? i survived. and besides, we saw each other at every break anyways!” you respond. you connected the film with the tv and enjoyed your old times with suna. you both had grown up with each other and experienced your whole life together. the proximity only made you both realize the mutual yearning and took the risky move of going out. safe to say youre both happier and more open with each other after you started dating 5 years ago. ending the night with a memory marathon was relaxing as it was nostalgic. you both giggled and cringed at the variety of clips. “i cant believe you were already looking at me with heart eyes since junior high! look its so evident in your eyes!” you say to suna as youre watching. in the video, you were both only 13 and performing a little skit to convince your parents to let you have a sleepover. and suna was on the side waiting for his turn, but he looked at you with so much love. he knew couldnt deny, he had liked you for so long, it turned into love not long after. he fell first but you fell harder. he just shrugged and squeezed you closer to his side. with refreshing drinks, and a warm atmosphere, both you and suna dozed off as the comforting silence cradled you both to sleep. after such a long day, you were still able to relax and enjoy it with suna. your very first friend, best friend, first love, and last love. its your biggest wish to stay like this with him forever until the end, because no one else made you feel so loved and warm inside.

And it's that same lake (which I feel like we should name the lake- aaaaaand I'm already on it gonna go find a cool spooky name brb) so they know exactly how to win the spirits and creatures over to join in. Like, you how know Sebastian got all the local critters to join in for a whole orchestra? That kinda vibe. And just like The Little Mermaid, Lyf is fully aware of the whole thing but Marius takes a moment to catch on. Of course they're only aware after they're stuck in that boat. So may as well kiss.

(I do think they're first kiss is still a fully different scene that I think has been brought up? So either Tim and Bertie are unaware of that, it hasn't happened yet, or they don't care that it did they're still doing this. Yes I know I just wrote some vague cool shit and tossed it into google translate.... (Chose "Lady" ones as a reference to some of the lady of the lake myths. Not the same as Arthurian Legend, though, just to be clear.) Some actual potential names if those are a bit much:

Lake Mallory - Mallory is a French name meaning "without good fortune" or "ill-omened" or "unfortunate" Lake Morrigan - Morrigan is a Celts-Irish goddess of war and fate, foretelling of doom, death, or victory in battle. She's also often represented with three crows/ravens I believe (which is neat when compared to Odin, who was two crows/ravens). Celts-Irish has roots and influence in French history.

I dunno. Maybe something along "Lake of The Kind Ones"/"Lake of the Fair Folk"/"Lake of The Good Neighbors" could be an option?

Would also fall to me knees if Lyf said something cryptid about it, like calling it "a kindly corpse fjord" and refusing to elaborate.

The table felt cool against her forehead as she folded her arms on top of it, her eyes shutting as she allowed that feeling to take over her for a little bit. The kids were still asleep, the dogs were still asleep, she was alone, pretty much, in the kitchen, laptop still running next to her.

Beatrice took a moment to savor the rare tranquility that enveloped her kitchen. The soft hum of the refrigerator, and the subtle glow of the laptop screen cast a serene ambiance. With her forehead resting against the cool surface of the table, she allowed the solitude to wash over her, a brief respite from the demands of the outside world.

As she inhaled deeply, the lingering scent of freshly brewed coffee wafted through the air. Beatrice's thoughts danced on the precipice of weariness and contemplation, a delicate balance between the serenity of the early morning and the complexities that ran in her brain.

She did not sleep well.

Hence why she was in the kitchen,right now.

With a gentle exhale, she lifted her head from the table, blinking away the remnants of sleep that clung to her eyelashes, rubbing her face with both hands. The laptop beckoned with its softly glowing screen, and her attention turned to check the time “...it’s five thirty…” she whispers to herself.

The rhythmic tick-tock of the clock on the wall provided almost a metronome for her thoughts. She inhales again,propping her head with her hand as she takes in her surroundings, the coffee maker remaining empty signaling that the smell of coffee that entered her nostrils earlier was only in her mind.

The kitchen, with its muted colors and the soft glow of dawn filtering through the curtains, seemed to hold a silent promise of a new day. Beatrice rose from her chair, the coolness of the table still lingering on her forehead. 

With measured steps, she approached the laptop. The soft whir of its fan indicated its continued vigilance, a silent witness to the thoughts and worries that had unfolded in the late hours of the night. Beatrice's fingers danced across the keys, then quickly slid it shut because she spent most of her night doing shit in it.

She runs her hands up and down her face, then rolls her neck to crack it, exhaling through her mouth before she marches to the coffee maker, phone in hand, to check the baby monitor app on the twins’ and Nicole’s bedroom.

The soft glow of the phone illuminated Beatrice's face as she checked the baby monitor app. Nicole, her tousled hair spread across the pillow, curled in a gentle embrace with her favorite pillow with Jack under her crib. The twins, nestled in their cribs, were deep asleep with Eleanor doing the same as her brother in Nicole's room.

A small smile tugged at the corners of Beatrice's lips as she observed the tranquility of their sleep. In the hushed glow of the bedroom, the worries of the outside world seemed momentarily suspended. 

With a satisfied exhale, Beatrice placed the phone on the kitchen counter. The aroma of coffee as she poured it in the machine made her smile widen a little bit more.

It was Rooster’s favorite blend.

It was the darkest,richest and most intense coffee she had ever had. She also knew that her husband would never spend too much money on anything unless it involved her,the kids or really good coffee. And she brings the container to her nose, gently sniffing and smiling more because she could imagine him there already.

He was so tired, but he wanted to solve whatever it was going on. She hoped he talked to Mav somehow.

As the coffee maker hummed to life, Beatrice leaned against the kitchen counter.The rich aroma of the brewing coffee enveloped the room, offering a comforting embrace that made her whole body relax.

With the first cup in hand, Beatrice tiptoed towards the living room, then settled into the couch, the warmth of the coffee cup cradled between her palms. The laptop remained on the kitchen, deciding she should put it away later.

As she sipped the robust coffee - mixed with milk and sugar because unlike her husband, she liked her coffee sweet -, Beatrice's gaze wandered to the rain-streaked window, where droplets clung to the glass but no more rain was hitting the windows.

She retrieved her phone, glancing at the notifications that had accumulated during the night. Among them was a message from Evelyn, "Hey Bea, just checking in. How are you holding up? Anything new on Rooster's end?"

Beatrice pondered her response, her fingers dancing across the phone's screen. "Morning, sorry I didn't see your message Ev. Rooster's still on mission, but he messaged last night. Situation's under control, but details are sparse.” it was too early for Evelyn to reply, so she didn’t expect a response.

And it came.

Ev (05:38)

Why are you up so early?

Beatrice blinked at Evelyn's immediate response. With a confused look, she began typing her reply.

Bea (05:40)

Couldn't sleep. You know how it is. Why are you up?

Ev (05:42)

I always wake up at five.

Bea (05:44)

���really?

Ev (05:46)

Military household,remember? I was up at sunrise every time my dad was home.

So, how are you really holding up, Bea?

Bea (05:52)

Honestly? It's been a roller coaster. The uncertainty, not knowing everything that's going on. But Rooster messaged last night, said the situation's under control. Trying to stay positive.

Ev (05:56)

You're doing great, Bea. It's not easy being in the dark about these things. But Rooster will fill you in when he can. 

Bea (06:00)

I know, Ev. Did you talk to Jake too?

Ev (06:05)

Yeah, Jake filled me in on the situation. He's keeping a close eye on things on their end.

Bea (06:08)

That's reassuring.How's he handling everything?

Ev (06:10)

Holding up, but you know Jake. He…has a lot of thoughts.

Bea (06:12)

Sounds familiar. These military types. 

Ev (06:14)

Can't blame them. It's in their nature. So, how's the home front? The kids, the dogs?

Bea (06:14)

Kids are good, oblivious to everything, thank goodness. Dogs are being dogs. Nicole is still trying to figure out why dad isn't home for breakfast.

Ev (06:15)

…I’m sorry Bea. 

Bea (06:15)

No,no it’s okay. It’s not…um…that bad. you know? She just asks about him in her own toddler way, it’s fine.

Ev (06:18)

…Kids have a way of grounding us, don't they?

Bea (06:20)

Hah, yeah.

The baby monitor app pinged,signaling that Nicole was up and sitting on her crib, already looking confused and ready to leave. Beatrice sighs through her nose, then looks down at the messages.

Bea (06:23)

Nikki is awake Ev, I should go now.

Ev (06:24)

No worries,Bea. Talk to you soon.

As Beatrice typed her farewell to Evelyn, she pocketed her phone and made her way to Nicole's room. The soft glow of dawn seeped through the curtains, casting a gentle light on the scene. Nicole's eyes widened with curiosity as Beatrice entered, her little hands reaching out.

"Well…you are up and about hm? Hi birdie," Beatrice greeted, lifting Nicole from the crib. The warmth of the toddler in her arms provided a grounding force, a reminder of the simple joys that persisted even in the face of uncertainty. She closes her eyes, burying her nose in Nicole’s hair, smelling the cotton flower shampoo clinging to the strands.

Ground yourself. The voice resembled Evelyn  so much but it was right.

As she carried Nicole into the kitchen, the aroma of brewing coffee greeted her. The twins were still nestled in their cribs, and Jolene trotted out of the master bedroom to follow Beatrice downstairs, her claws clicking on the floor.

Beatrice prepared breakfast, and  Nicole, now seated in her high chair, watched her mother intently, “Mama.”

“Hm?”

“Papa?”

Beatrice inhales shakily, still focused on preparing Nikki’s breakfast “Papa is…away for a little bit,honey.”

Nicole’s innocent gaze lingered on Beatrice, a furrow forming on her tiny forehead. The notion of Papa being away seemed to puzzle her, and Beatrice felt a pang in her chest.

"Papa is on a special mission, sweetie. He'll be back soon. Until then, it's just us all and the pups, okay?" Beatrice explained, her voice gentle and soothing.

Nicole blinked, processing the information in her own toddler way. Then, with a grin, she babbled happily and Beatrie felt at ease knowing that she wasn’t as upset…this time.

Beatrice chuckled, "That's right, all of us. Now, let's have some yummy breakfast, and Mama will make sure today is a fun day for us."

It doesn’t take too long for the twins, now awake and alert, join Nicole at the breakfast table, Aurora being the loudest baby she had ever seen, while Gavin just snoozed on the bouncer as Bea put them both down.

Bea made sure they all had breakfast, then looked down at her phone when it buzzed.

Bea(06:56)

…you are awake? Now? How is that possible??

Shells (07:00)

Early bird catches the worm, or in my case, catches up on missed conversations. How's everything on your end?

Bea (07:02)

It's a morning filled with chaos and toddler energy. How about you?

She glanced around the room as if expecting to find her friend magically appearing in the window.

Beatrice quickly typed a response, her fingers tapping on the phone screen.

Wait, what? Outside my house? Right now? Why?

Shells (07:40)

Surprise visit! I thought it would be fun. I've got some time off, and I miss you guys.

Bea (07:42)

But... It's so early. The kids are just having breakfast, and I'm still in my pajamas.

Shells (07:45)

Perfect! Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I've seen you in your PJs plenty of times. No worries. Let me in?

Beatrice sighed, then dropped her head in defeat.
