DD Progress/Updates 21

Hello everyone!!! It’s me EMatooney back at it again with mooooooorreeeee stuff!! Happy 4th of July!! 🎆🎇 Even tho it isn’t right now at the time of posting this but eh close enough!!

Besides all that I have an extremely wonderful, WONDERFUL news!

Introducing my newest team member @edgy-artkid!!!

I cannot express how happy this makes me to have a member working on this project!! Since the beginning this dude has always supported me and I will always always be thankful for that!! I am touched from the bottom of my heart!!! 🥹🥹🥹 Thank you so much @edgy-artkid and welcome to the team!!! Make sure you support him!!

Edgy and I will start working together after I have already released pages 13 - 16. I’ll be in charge of the rough drafts and line art while Edgy will be in charge of the coloring. After that, I’ll top it all off with the rendering!!!

Speaking of pages, progress is slow but definitely steady! Dib is halfway colored in now! After that I’ll begin the background art. I’m sure now that I have a new member things will definitely go much more smoothly! I’m so excited!!! Watch us fly, mama!!!! 🤣🤣

Anyways, I know I just said this but I’m truly grateful to have someone work with me. If you spoke to me 2 years ago that I’ll be getting popular AND getting a team member I would’ve thought you were crazy!! And now look, just look at how far I’ve come!! I know this might be silly but to me? This means everything. I’ve had dreams about this and it’s finally come true. I must be the happiest person on earth right now.

This is why you must never give up on your dreams. If you fight and continue doing the things you love and put a lot of effort into it it’s guaranteed to come true! It may take a long time, it may take a day! But it will come as long as you have faith in yourself and the pride that you have for the things you love. I promise.
