Everyone always talks about Bruce's short time in med school, but nobody ever talks about when he went to law school, aka when he tortured all of Gotham U with Brucie Wayne.

Bruce needed to study law, criminology, forensics, psychology, sociology, penology, to improve Gotham, so he enrolled in Gotham U again. However, he was going to play the role of the annoying rich brat, aka introducing Brucie Wayne to the world. HE PAID PEOPLE TO BE HIS FRIENDS. They tried to expel him, he just paid the administration to keep him. But also, he would disguise himself to ask questions to the teachers. And illegally enter the building to go through his professors' belongings to learn more advanced stuffs... You know he showed up "drunk" or "hangover" to class and was loud af about it.

100% Bruce has a degree in law because of his time there, but he bought it (and everyone know he bought it) instead of actually earning it, which he was 100% capable of. (Gotham is corrupted af, he can easily do that)

Yeah, he is the worst thing that ever happened to Gotham U and everyone hates him there. (Yes, worse than criminals. Every college has a couple of graduates that commit crimes later on. How many of them have a rich brat bringing a LAND PHONE, because Bruce was in college before mobile phones existed, so he can loudly gossip on the phone during class, and cannot be expelled because he is the one founding the new library???)

Also, funny to imagine this is when he met Harvey and, for some reason, he was his only real friend. (Maybe they had to work together on a project, and Bruce felt too bad about ruining someone else grade by being a dick, so he did show up to work with Harvey. And even tho he did his best to keep the mask on while not ruining Harvey's grade, he let out how much he actually cares about Gotham and wants to improve it. They bonded over that and now, Harvey is the only one to know that Bruce Wayne isn't a rich brat, but someone who cares about others.)

Btw, him saying that "It wouldn't have done for playboy Bruce Wayne to criticize the entire penology system" means that Bruce disagrees with the penology system in the USA, which is a punitive system, and also the death penalty, as penology modern studies are against it for being immoral and unethical. His education in the subject means that Bruce could actually use researches and works to explain why he is against killing, and I think it would be so funny to have him quoting Rousseau, Voltaire and Montesquieu to Jason.

a high school AU that's very fluffy and silly. since it revolves around leo being bullied, there are minor depictions of violence and... well, bullying, but it's not too harsh at all. overall, it's a lot of fun lightheartedness with these two being cute.

been a while since my last valzhang fic! this is just a self-indulgent one while i work on something more substantial; i had a lot of fun writing it. i have a soft spot for frank being a weirdo.

Leaves crunched beneath Leo’s feet as he opened the playground gate (made for toddlers, it was so low that it barely reached up to Leo’s hips). Making a show of swinging Frank’s papers in front of his face, he said, “well, big guy, this should be it.” “And… it’s all right?” He said immediately in return, taking the sheets. Ungrateful. “We’ve been doing this for a while and still you doubt the quality of my services. Have I ever gotten you a bad score before? Hm?” Reluctantly, Frank flushed, tucking away the worksheets into his clear file. “Alright, fine. I trust you, I guess.” He was referring to Leo’s answers, but the phrase felt slightly… heavy.  They had a professional relationship, them two. Leo did Frank’s math and science homework; Frank paid him handsomely, rich kid that he was; then they went their separate ways. Frank never went to anyone else for his work, and Leo put more effort into it than he did for his own.  Seller-consumer loyalty. They didn’t actually… you know… like each other. At all.

Before I start I do want to apologize for kind of taking off into a rambling vent post. Which is under the cut.

True, if anything I have a lot of regrets for the fics I deleted and never posted. I keep thinking about the CoD god fics that I had written out and outlined entire plots for. My favorite ones of the bunch were God of Trickery!Nikto x Assassin!reader and God of spring!Gaz x priestess!Reader.

I got embarrassed because the CoD fanfiction community is so large, rabid, and talented as hell. I only took the risk for DbD because the community is smaller and the FtM!reader/M!reader is so underserved if not just straight up non-existent/inactive.

Like a piece of me wishes DbD had the same rabid fanbase, but then I see the hate that gets flung at CoD cosplayers and fan writers on top of quite a few cosplayers turning out to be awful people.

My biggest hang up right now is since doing the polls and seeing the difference between the M!reader and F!reader polls (which the M!reader is done, F!reader is taking a bit longer) it made me realize that I have a lot of lurkers which is okay, but it becomes frustrating when F!reader or gender not even mentioned fics gets a lot of notes. I put a lot of effort and passion in my FtM!reader and M!reader fics and they gets half of the notes. My favorite fic that I've written has the least amount of notes.

Like part of my shame is that the fics I'm most embarrassed about are personal. Because barely and of my posts of comments or even get related asks I don't know why most of my followers are here. I know some of you are here for S.C.R.E.A.M and others Eldritch!reader. (Both are neglected, but not abandoned sorry 😅) Because the series will get massed liked and then a new follow. Which makes me giddy to see.

Honestly if you want to stay a lurker but you feel like saying or sharing something with me please I am on my hands and knees begging you to fill my inbox with your favorite line or random gibberish and tell me which Fic made you feel that way.

I don't care if it's for something brand spanking new or something I wrote it when I first started this blog.

I want to interact with you all, if I didn't they'd all be in a Google doc for my personal enjoyment. I would love comments like "so feral for them fr fr", "gnawing at the bars", "hfkajfheofubdowjfnue", "💕💕💕", or even "*insert favorite line from fic*". I am glad when I get corrections on spelling in my inbox (dyslexia is a bitch). Hell I have an ask in my inbox about somebody wanting to get with Eldritch!reader. And It still makes me smile.

Which I guess is my way of saying stop having shame when shame when it comes to interacting with me. I am literally just some guy. I am not cool, I am incredibly lame, I wore a fedora and a trench coat in high school almost everyday my freshman and sophomore years before dating a guy I actually wanted to impress, I am lame. I am human I have made a LOT of mistakes. So please I mean it when I say I will not judge people for getting excited or happy. I'd love to reach a point when I have regular anons with anon names.
