In memory of @markagnesi's late great #WeirdassWednesday segments, here's a 1960s #BurnsLondon Jazz/Split Sound spotted at @capsulemusic #Toronto. . The pickup selector on this guitar has four settings: 1) split sound, 2) jazz, 3) treble, and, get this, 4) "wild dog". 🐕 Zoom in...I couldn't make this stuff up! Apparently the "Split Sound" setting is where the pickups are simultaneously outputting just the bass side of the neck pickup combined with just the treble side of the bridge pickup. However I have absolutely no idea what the "Wild Dog" setting gets you... 😄 . The guy who made it brought it backstage @Grand Ole Opry in 2012 to gather autographs of popular singers and then sold it on an auction, donating all of the money from this project to fight cancer.
