▬▬▬ ☆      Things had been even  more  off  than  usual  now  that  Mirabel’s  ceremony  had  come  &&  gone.  This  had  never  happened  before...  For  someone  in  their  family  to  not  receive  a  gift?  Unheard  of.  He  wasn’t  surprised  when  his  mother  asked  him  to  look  to  the  future  to  find  out  what  was  going  on.  Maybe  there’d  be  a  solution  in  it.  Still,  Bruno  was  already  nervous  about  it.  

            It seemed that his  wife  was  on  the  same  page.  Dulce  was  asking  the  question  that  he’d  been  weighing  in  his  mind  since  he  was  asked  to  look  into  the  future.  His  hand  hesitated  on  the  doorknob  at  her  voice  though  &&  he  sighed.  

                                  ❝  I know. But I do have to. If not for mami, then for my sister. For Mirabel. For the family. I guess if she doesn’t like it then it’ll just be another Bruno thing. It’s nothing I’m not already used to.  ❞
