It’s been two months since Luo Binghe has met his other -weaker, happier, fuller- counterpart and his other -bright, kind, soft- Shizun and the betrayal of it all still wars against himself in a way he hasn’t felt in a long time.

He feels angry at everything, at himself, at his own rotten shizun, at the world for dealing him such an unfair hand, and nothing seems to help, not his wives and what he now realizes are their empty platitudes, not plundering the parts of the demon realm still left to the barbarian tribes. Nothing can help the emptiness, this hungry maw of a void that lives inside of him.

“Yingying is worried about A-Luo,” Yingying told him when he came to visit her courtyard, she seems more wary than the last Luo Binghe saw her, he wondered if she also felt betrayed by the injustice of the other Luo Binghe “A-Luo hasn't been around, husband has barely seen the children and have yet to meet with the tutor Mingyan arranged for.”

His heart softened a bit in his anger at the thought of his children, his boys. This is an accomplishment he was certain the other Luo Binghe is sure not to have, with his lack of wives and his cutsleeve marriage. That weaker Luo Binghe is sure not to have his precious boys.

“This lord meet with him soon, ying-er.” He told her, then she smiled at him and told him that the tutor was currently at one of the outer courtyards and A-Luo was sure to catch him if he went now. 

That’s how he’s come to stand in the entryway of the one of the calmer and cleaner outer courtyards of his palace, watching a stranger with a somewhat familiar soft face and bright brown eyes wrangle Yichen and Yingtai into practising their calligraphy while also trying to keep Weifeng from cramming bugs in his tiny mouth with his chubby fists all while Ruoxing watches from afar with the airs of superiority only an older brother could have. The daozhang tries to cajole Feng-er from his bug eating endeavors and Luo Binghe can swear that he knows this voice from somewhere, the way the man’s hands flutter around before he grabs Feng-er’s chubby cheeks and makes him spit out the bug he’s in the process of chewing.

Luo Binghe chuckles to himself and the man lifts his head quick as a whip, pretty eyes widening and cheeks turning pink and Luo Binghe is suddently breathless because now he realises why the mannerisms were familiar, why they pulled at his heartstrings. This is him. He knows in his bones that this is his version of the lovely Shizun that weaker Luo Binghe was blessed with.

“Lord Luo,” the man exclaims, breathlessly, the children lift their heads at their father’s name and come to crowd at his knees the moment they see him standing there “This lowly one is honoured to be in Junshang’s presence.”

Yes, Luo Binghe thinks to himself greedily, hoisting Weifeng on his hip and patting Ruoxing’s head absentmindedly, an honour indeed.

It’s been quite some time since I’ve posted on tumblr…

Some of you may not know me… heck, let’s change that to ‘most’.. anyway, I digress… I go by several different names—Zephyr, Tinks, Yun, Weifeng, you name it.

Feel free to call me what you like.

My interests.. hobbies.. and the like…

Needless to say, I like a variety of things.

This can range from music to what I do with my spare time, so I will narrow it down to a few.

For my hobbies, it’s very diverse. For example: I like to draw, sculpt, and paint—anything I can get my hands on, I will create art with; I like anything and everything with an engine, from quad bikes and motorbikes to modern aircraft and other military vehicles.

For now, I stick to gliders and low powered aircraft, and things that are actually legal for me to drive… whether that be a quad bike, a plane, or a boat under 40 foot.

My general interests include: the military, and the air force specifically; music—r&b.. kpop.. jpop… and many other genres; anime, history, fiction, languages, and so much more than you can simply list in one post, haha.

What languages can I speak…?

Languages is a funny thing to talk about, for me. I can understand, write, and read in many languages but have a strange difficulty in speaking them.

Although, some languages that I can speak to some ability include: Spanish, Japanese and Chinese.

The Basics

Genre: medieval fantasy, LGBT/queer, low fantasy

Setting: the universe of U'nyon-he that is divided in five islands. Wassermund, inspired by medieval Germany. Tijara, ispired by the 13th century Maghrebi area. Yue Weifeng, inspired by Ming Dinasty China. Velstand (also known as Iskald), inspired by Scandinavia. Fluye, inspired by pre-colonization Mexico.

Language spoken: the five languages, and Common language. The names of gods and the universe is in Common.

Plot

Five islands. Five gods. Four people who meet death, and get sent back with a mission. Only one, to which the mission is gifted from higher powers.

In theory it is very simple: find the Staff of Time, free the gods, reunificate the islands who have grown apart centuries ago. In practice, no one is very enthusiast about the idea of dying, serving the gods, and going back to be dead again once they are done. Especially not in a time of such upheaval.

Plus, Katz has her own way of reuniting the islands. Souad, needs to stop a war first. Jiang would like to become a famous mage before going, and Haakon has a nation to rule. Nayeli on her part, would like to understand why the gods seem to target always her.

They have been given an opportunity to do all that again, there is no way in hell they are wasting it!

Characters (the mortals)

Katz (she? they? who knows. certainly not Katz.) : A young pirate from Wassermund. Katz's main goal: joining the rebellion to make all islands more similar to Velstand, with freedom to choose more than one path in life.

Souad al-Halabi (she/her): An extremely capable merchant from Tijara who can also be an amazing on the spot diplomate.

Lin Jiang (he/him): He dreams to be a famous mage. For now, however, he is being held back a grade at the magic school in Yue Weifeng. Maybe if only he understood what is the true essence of magic, he would succeed.

Haakon Ari Holderburg (he/him): The crown prince of Velstand. He was admired and beloved by all, until his vision. Now that everyone believes him to be crazy, he has to recover his reputation as well as lead a war against Tijara. All while coming to terms with his newly acquired disability, and heavy mobility aids.

Nayeli al-Saghir (she/they): the preferred by the gods. She has been found as a baby in Tijara, now she is an estimated priestess and oracle in Fluye. They are deaf, often experience visions, and have a very developed spirituality. Her main problem, a part fetching the damn staff, is figuring out why the gods seem to only bother them.

May 17th to 21st, The Third Li Hong Season — Media Exploration of Maoming event, jointly organized by the Hong Kong Commercial Daily and the Maoming Municipal Committee Propaganda Department, in collaboration with Shenzhen Special Zone Daily, Shenzhen Evening News, Hong Kong Economic Journal, and Macau Daily Times, was held in Maoming, Guangdong.

The visiting delegation embarked on a journey through the “Living Lychee Museum” — Gong Garden, engaging in dialogue with millennium-old lychee trees, experiencing the rich culture of Maoming’s lychee. They also visited China’s first coastal tourism destination, capturing moments on its romantic coastline, and explored the transformation of the former largest open-pit mine in Asia into an ecological park, listening to the story of its rebirth.

“Lychee” Infuses New Life: Millennium-Old Lychees Attract Visitors from All Over

Accompanied by guardians of ancient trees, the visiting delegation strolled through the ancient lychee trees at Gong Garden. Situated in Bajiao Village, Genzi Town, Gaozhou City, Gong Garden was established during the Sui and Tang dynasties. It is the largest lychee garden in China, boasting a long history, well-preserved ancient lychee trees, and a wide variety of lychee species. It is renowned as the “Lychee Museum.”

According to He Shuzhi, a member of the Party Committee of Bajiao Village, Gong Garden covers an area of ​​about 80 acres. There are 39 lychee trees over 500 years old and 9 lychee trees over 1300 years old.

The historical and cultural significance carried by these ancient lychee trees has transformed Gong Garden from a mere fruit orchard into a famous tourist attraction. The journalists encountered many tourists who had come from afar to take photos in front of the ancient lychee trees.

In April 2023, during his inspection of Bajiao Village, Genzi Town, Gaozhou City, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized the need to further develop the lychee industry and cultural tourism in Maoming. Maoming has taken multiple measures to promote the integrated development of agriculture, culture, tourism, and commerce, accelerating the development of lychee cultural tourism. Sebagai orang yang lagi menekuni sekaligus terjun ke dunia konten kreator, tripod itu alat tempur paling krusial yang bisa nentuin hasil konten kita. Gue udah 3x gonta-ganti tripod buat ngontenin proses bikin kue dan konten masak-masak lainnya. Walo ini di luar topik per-bakingan, tapi gak papa gue pengin ngasih rekomendasi tripod mana aja yang oke berdasarkan budget dan kualitasnya.

TRIPOD WEIFENG

Ini adalah tripod pertama yang gue beli di Tokopedia 2021, waktu lagi menggebu-gebunya ngonten pake hengpong android kualitas kamera burik. Buat kreator amatir kayak gue, tripod seharga 30-40 ribuan gini cukup membantulah dan ya gak usah berekspektasi lebih soal kualitasnya.

Tingginya mungkin sekitar 120 cm, ketiga tiangnya bisa dipanjangin sampai 3 tingkat dan smooth banget, ada anti-slipnya di tiap kaki tripod jadi gak gampang goyang. Holder hp-nya sendiri gak bisa diputer-puter, jadi waktu dipasangin tuh hp-nya horizontal, jadi kudu atur sendiri anglenya.

Holdernya tuh gak kuat nahan hp zaman sekarang yang besar dan bobotnya lumayan (120 gram kurleb), goyang-goyang agak miring jadinya. Dan di bagian bawah holder yang nyambung ke tiangnya ini super RINGKIH alias beberapa kali copot, tapi masih bisa dipasang lagi cuman ya ribetlah.

Setelah dipake kurang lebih selama 2 tahun lamanya, tripod ini akhirnya tumbang juga doi patah di bagian kepala. Jadi ya, buang aja hehe.

Conclusion:

Buat pemula dan cari yang low budget okelah.

Ringkih, copot mulu kepalanya.

Angle kamera agak miring karna kepalanya gak kokoh.

TRIPOD MURAH 60 RIBUAN

Urgent butuh tripod baru setelah si Weifeng wafat, gue ngubek nyari tripod murah yang oke buat ngonten. Jatuhlah pilihan ke tripod 65 ribuan beli di TikTok.

Tripodnya sederhana, ada pemberat di bawah, holder berupa jepitan bak capit kepiting yang kuat buat harga segini. Tiangnya dilengkapi per buat naik-turunin, dan bola untuk ngunci holdernya.

Untuk sekelas harga 65 ribu ini udah cukup oke sih, mepet budget. Bisa buat overlay juga kok, tapi yaaa angle sangat terbatas ya, cuman tetep bagus praktis buat pemula mah. Minus lainnya memang si tripod ngikut goyang juga karena gak ada anti-slip di bagian dasarnya.

Hacks biar gak goyang seharusnya tripod gak ditempatin di satu tempat, harus misah tapi kendalanya angle makin terbatas.

Conclusion:

Murah buat pemula.

Goyang-goyang kalau di satu tempat shoot.

Angle terbatas, lebih cocoknya buat overlay aja.

Bakal panjang saking bagusnya.

Tripod ketiga yang jadi 'senjata' gue ngonten. Sebelum beli yang di TikTok, gue sempat mempertimbangkan beli tripod Mixio tapi merasa overbudget, namun hasilnya gue kurang puas sama tripod murah TikTok itu.

Bolak-balik comparing antara TNW sama Mixio, jatuhlah pilihan gue pada TNW. Menurut influenser sih, merek ini baru masuk Indo ya bisa menggeser kepopuleran si Mixio yang minim fitur.

TAPI, hati-hati rupanya ada yang jual TNW kw. Ini gue beli ori dari tokonya seharga 169 dapet diskon jadi 145 aja, sedangkan yang kemungkinan kw itu harganya di bawah ini.

Dari segi material gue suka sekali, premium, hitam legam, kerasa banget kokohnya dan kaya barang mahal up to 500 ribuan dibandingin tripod under 100 ribu yang pernah gue beli (IYALAH). Tingginya di deskripsi 160 cm, tapi pas dipanjangin cuman 150an cm ada kali, ya soalnya masih tinggian gue (153cm) jauh dari klaim yang selama ini diklaim influenser dan deskripsinya.

Waktu barang dibuka memang tiangnya masih seret luar biasa, takut patah sumpah. Kaki-kakinya anti-slip, cara bukanya bahkan gue nyari dulu di TikTok saking takutnya rusak. Bagian kepalanya terutama holder bisa diputar 360 derajat, bisa sesuain angle yang dimau, kemudian ada stabilizer dan penguncinya, serta remote bluetooth di gagang stabilizer.

Tiangnya emang seret pas awal, tapi setelah percobaan ketiga kalinya doi mulai smooth gak seseret sebelumnya. Holdernya ini pakem banget sampe gue super hati-hati pas masangin hp (lagi-lagi takut patah). Akan sangat baik kalau dibikin fleksibel pas ditarik.

Untuk kestabilannya ini okelah, tapi tetep ada goyang setelah lo setting tempat rekam jadi kudu dipegangin beberapa detik. Remote blututnya cakep, gak ada kendala apapun bisa konek ke hp (iPhone 7) jadi gak perlu bolak-balik nyamperin hp.

Sementara stabilizernya menurut gue kurang sebab dia goyang juga pas diarahin kiri-kanan. Tripod ini bagian kepalanya bisa buat overlay/overhead tapi mepetin ke meja biar kakinya gak masuk kamera.

Jujur aja, gue nyesel kenapa dulu gak langsung beli ini aja sekalian malah buang duit buat barang murah :'D

Conclusion:

Ratenya 9/10 deh.

People think he's cool and aloof but he's just severely Out Of It due to lack of sleep. When he's well-rested and away from school, like during summer break or whatever the Yue Weifeng equivalent of it is, he's super cheerful and loud. He just looks like a zombie during the school year - a very smart zombie, but still.
