pricing your work is so hard when you want to open commisions for the first time😭

as an artist from a relatively poor country I struggle to even imagine which price is okay for my main audience and it also comes with a guilt of making things unfair to other creators so I like. don't open them at all. even though i am pretty skilled and have time and kinda need it???

Columbo and the Knight (1984)

put me in the universe where Columbo ran through the 1980s and had a crossover episode with Knight Rider. I think they deserved it, and I am not just saying that because they're my two favorite Old Shows. @telebeast wrote a little fanfic blurb about it and I HAD to visualize it into a comic (which is also the longest comic I have finished thus far at five pages...), so writing credit goes to them.

I posted this on my Twitter, but I thought I'd share it here, too! I isolated the audio from Charles' death scene to answer a commonly debated headcanon in fandom: did Charles go by something else when he was alive?

Well, at least in this video, I can confirm that all the "Friends" who killed him call him Charlie. 😭

I reckon that is what his peers, teachers, and, even his abusive father likely referred to him as... Charlie Rowland. Makes sense for a teenage boy in the 80s; particularly a sporty, alternative, charismatic boy like Charles who hung around "lad-types."

It's no wonder he flinched when Brad/Hunter called him Charlie Boy. This show really doesn't miss a single detail. It's brilliant and intentional in every single thing it does.

FUCK it deserves a season 2! It's so well-written and in its first season. *Chef's kiss* from beginning to end.

the modern villainisation of demeter will never cease to enrage me bc it wasn’t ENOUGH to just take a story of a girl being torn from her home from everyone who loved her and dragged away to be forced into marriage and twist and corrupt it until it was a romance story about female empowerment that wasn’t ENOUGH they HAD to take the original hero of the story the mother who went to every length to find her daughter again to bring her home and demonise her character until she was this horrific overbearing unloving mother. overprotective controlling without love. they turn the story of her grief at her YOUNG daughter being torn from her without her knowledge into the story of a misunderstood bad boy and a horrible cruel mother who won’t give him a chance and i really find it sickening. it’s ironic, that the ever misogynist age of hellenistic greece, has a better grasp of how disgusting and horrifying this situation was that a modern, self proclaimed ‘feminist’ era.

Awwww thank you! If you knew me before sweepingboy blog in my solangelo phase you probably know how I love silly cranky comics😌

This one started because I've tried to figure out a dynamic of getting together between the two because I think Mu Qing is perfectly aware of his crush on Feng Xin but he's been pushing him away for centuries at this point and admitting anything just will be ridiculous.

But in moments like this, when he's on the cusp of death he's picked up by these stupidly strong arms and the blood in his veins is boiling with adrenaline it's hard to resist the urge. And oh, how he hates Feng Xin for the ability to strip away his patience and restraint and act on an impulse!

imagine peeking into the living room and finding satoru on the couch with his four year old on his lap. the two of them are both staring with the same blue eyes at the television, watching an animated movie. satoru's chin is resting on his child's head, and you can see their small hands gripping their father's forearms.

it's a touching scene that's playing out on the screen, you can tell by the moving dialogue and music in the background. but you can't help but hide a smile watching your lover and child mirror the same expression.

teary, wide eyes; bottom lip tucked between their teeth; cheeks tinted in pink as they both breathe in sync.

when your baby sniffles you notice satoru squeeze them a little tighter; and it's enough to make your heart burst on the spot.
