If you've ever told a person who's had to be bedbound for a period of time that you wish you could "just stay in bed", DO IT.

Stay in bed. For days. But don't get up if someone needs you to, or you get bored, or you get antsy. Don't do anything other than rest. Just lie in your bed, whether you need to get stuff done around the house or socialize or anything else "productive". You'll have to cancel on people, you'll disappoint them, they won't understand.

And if you're thinking, "well, i CAN'T just be in bed. There's stuff that has to be done - I have plans", maybe ask yourself why you assumed a disabled person doesn't have plans or things to do or desires.

Last Sunday, I took on the challenge of making Beef Wellington. It went surprisingly well, although next time, I would sear the meat a bit crispier for that extra bite.

He wanted this moment to last. It may be his last for a while, so he stayed still.

(thanks to the defrost tiktok anon) Eric would be on the cooking duty and Francesca would be trying to either push things off the table or steal something from the counter constantly or play with moving metal kitchenwares to the point that Eric has to decide that the safest way of him to cook in peace is by holding Francesca all the time while cooking so that she doesn't do anything

And Cook!Mira would probably specialize in baking fruity desserts and making jams As for signature dishes? WELL! Let's just say Cook!Isabeau is known for his cookies. Boring, delicious, big chocolate chip cookies that taste of home, and he WILL be sharing them whether you are hungry or not!
