i’ve prolly posted this before but i still can’t get over that one ‘wednesday’s child is full of woe’ poem, wait let me look it up ok found it, so

‘Monday's child is fair of face,

Tuesday's child is full of grace,

Wednesday's child is full of woe,

Thursday's child has far to go,

Friday's child is loving and giving,

Saturday's child works hard for a living,

But a child that is born on the Sabbath day

Is blithe and bonny, good and gay.’

like how’s all ‘em other children good and well and everyone’s happy and pretty and loving and hardworking but wednesday’s child alone’s full of fucking woe? of course i was born on a wednesday, why’d you even ask?

‘The poem, which assigns personalities to children based on the day they were born, dates back to at least 1838.’

it does feel personal at times ngl

(although, tbf, didn’t really need any wednesday’s ever to’ve been feeling like woe impersonated for pretty much most of my life, comma)

ironically, June 7th’s also World Caring Day. tho as i’ve been caring about pretty much the entire fucking world ever since i was able to form a somewhat coherent thought (not sure if i can form fully coherent thoughts in general), it might actually not be that ironic, overall.

Do any of you ever wonder if Camp Half-Blood accidentally brought in a demigod of a different pantheon before?

This would be especially hilarious if it happens sometime after The Last Olympian/Heroes of Olympus, where the gods are required to claim their kids quickly.

A whole day passes, and the new demigod needs to sleep in the Hermes Cabin and Percy is furious. Meanwhile, the Greek Gods are pointing at each other and shouting, contacting the most obscure of mini gods. Chaos erupts on Olympus as every deity in Greek Mythology is called upon and interrogated. Hermes hasn't run around so much in centuries.

Hecate sits in silence, fully aware of what's happening, but enjoying the show too much to intervene.
