Papercraft wedding commission! The reference photos were all beautiful and there were many options for a wonderful pose, but there was also a short video clip of the couple dancing with the loveliest spinning lift. I got really excited about that pose in particular (y'all know I love making dance-art)! The movement! The romance! The sweetness! :D

So our pirate dad confirmed the Widow Evelyn Higgins and Mary Bonnet pairing, and I have to finally post this Queen of Hearts wedding portrait I did of them for the Tying the Knot zine last year! (There was meant to be a nsfw companion piece but I haven't finished it yet)

Wedding portrait commission for a friend on fb of her OCs Hermani and Lucca (both are he/him)! It’s the most ambitious/detailed/time-consuming project I’ve done and it was totally worth it, and I learned a lot about making my own custom brushes in procreate. I was given refs for the wedding saree but looked up others to help fill in some blanks and wow are they beautiful! I hope I came even a little bit close to recreating that beauty in my own work.

Papercraft wedding commission! I enjoy getting to make wedding pieces so much.

The photo reference for this one was so joyful, and beautifully composed! The client specifically requested that the gazebo-like structure in the photo also feature in the papercraft, so I had great fun figuring out how to translate its shape into a stylized form. It makes such a nice frame for the lovely couple. ^_^
