Anyone else think short form social media based on algorithms designed to promote topics that create more engagement instead of more joy, the idea of fast fashion but conveyed through social media, and the fact you can monetize suffering and outrage better than ever has largely resulted in the death spiral of media literacy and the mass emergence of bad faith readings?

dumb ask but me and you use the same tag #sticky note for our content tagging and I think that’s cool
sorry if this is a stupid ask I just thought it was neat
oh gosh that's not dumb at all that's so fun!! hello my fellow sticky note poster!!!
together we are leaving little sticky notes with doodles and thoughts on them all over this website until it looks like a child's conspiracy board of all the times they think they saw bigfoot on a long drive and i think that is wonderful.

So I have ADHD, and while looking at ways to help my time blindness (can't project myself to see stuff not imminently happening) I realized one of the ways I already cope with that are whiteboards. The kind you find in middle school
I already use a whiteboard on my desk to write stuff to absolutely not forget to do tomorrow, and it's put very evidently on my desk so as not to miss it (right next to my laptop instead of above where I don't look (I tried and forgot about it after 2 hours))
So now my problem is. I want a whiteboard planner thing so I can write a weekly schedule on instead of just the thing to do tomorrow, but all the ones I find are supposed to be sticked on a fridge instead of standalone and now I'm not sure what I'm looking for exists but I'm out of ideas :[

Also I forgot to update: last Sunday I got Sharpe's Command (thank you Amazon Spain) and I just want to say. Bernard Cornwell sometimes you are the bane of my existence but I lost my MIND reading this book. I couldn't put it down and screamed at Sam as I read ahead bc CORNDOG GAVE US SO MUCH TERESA AND TERESA/SHARPE STUFF. SO MUCH. TERESA GETS HER DAY IN THE SUN AND I HAD TO REFRAIN FROM SCREAMING W/ ASSUMPTA RIGHT NEXT TO ME WHILE I READ.
Literally this book is SO FUCKING GOOD for both teresa/sharpe content AND teresa content I am SO happy with it, and it absolutely was worth the wait. Every time he could've done something disappointing he didn't and i kicked my feet and twirled my hair and rolled around on the couch as I read it and ooughhhhhhhh it's now my favorite Sharpe book EVER!!!!!!!!!! TERESA MORENO MY BELOVED SHE GOT SO MUCH STUFF IN THIS BOOK....THANK U FOR MY LIFE CORNDOG

did i do another stock photo redraw? perhaps
anyway, i was browsing through stock photos (there are some truly ridiculous ones) and found this one, which immediately made me think of magician Aziraphale, and then this happened. i like to think that he and crowley sometimes accidentally summon each other, leading to some Situations (and, of course, shenanigans). obviously, me being me, i didn’t do a background because i Could Not Be Bothered.
you’re welcome.

Oh my god, guess what i saw today
A wild Wally on the whiteboard of a laundromat near the house i just moved to!
Lmao i literally like squealed and went right over to it and sat there looking at for a like 5 minutes lol There weren't any markers and i didn't have a sticky note or anything to leave a note but i was really happy just to look at the little laundromat Wally while the clothes were washing.

alex hirsch truly is like. the guy ever. he created one of if not the most renowned and successful disney tva shows. he clowns on said network. he won his high school’s bird calling contest. he hates trump and is always advocating for people to vote. also prank calls republican/maga hotlines and was on the washington post for such. he voices half the cast of his own show and does a deranged mickey mouse voice he uses for like two separate shows. he owns a giant taxidermy buffalo. he and his sister were on an international improv team in high school. disney censored practically all queer themes in his show and now he has a nyt best seller (and created the website plus recent interviews ect ect) that imply there was something going on between that fuck ass triangle and ford. a straight man creating good old man yaoi. creates the craziest rabbit holes to send the fandom down probably primarily fueled by adhd and coffee. he probably has his flannel sewn to his body atp and has thousands of sticky hands on the wall in his house. i could go on but he’s just truly such a interesting guy

The Six Steps to a Sticky Website
Apply the SUCCESS model to your website even though it will probably mean scrapping a lot of existing content and combine other bits of information.
