Silly lil weaver oc doodles. I love these spiders sm (even though if a real spider were to exist near me I would instantly cease to exist). Widow is the older cousin of my other weaver oc Ovata (red cloak). The only one concerned for Ovata’s sanity (what can I say she likes the orange juice). Ovata actually was made first but I have yet to make decent art of her.

Been experimenting with designs for my OC, Maggie Weaver - the spider lady.

I really like this design; having her legs be retractable in a big tail, however I'm fully aware how I could be shooting myself in the foot with it's possible complexities. We'll see if it sticks!

i hate dream weaver cookie,

anyway- heres my Dream Sheppard cookie who keeps dreams well organized. he cant Create dreams, just keep them looked after and safe from nightmares that try to seep their way in. If a nightmare becomes too violent, he will wake the cookies up before the nightmare reaches its climax.

a lot of people seem to like orb weaver so i feel obligated to share her concept art!! This one is the one im currently sort of sticking with, while experimenting with her limbs from time to time!

Rose was on his way to deliver the books he had brought to London for the Magnus Institute. He wasn't sure if to be excited or really, really unhappy about having to pay that place a visit.

For one, Rose remembered the way things went in their own, old timeline. Where this all as just some silly podcast about horrible things. One someone very dear to them had shown him. A person that didn't seem to exist anymore. Rose took a breath of air, trying to ignore the ache that came with that particular set of memories. That time was gone. Rose is pretty sure that it technically never existed now, considering he'd found exactly 0 people who remembered any of what he did. All his old friends, the people that had been like a second home they...didn't know him. Didn't remember him. Didn't seem to have an interest in doing so. Rose wasn't too keen on repeating their path as exact as possible, and so...after thoroughly making sure they were all okay, left them be. But there was one person he couldn't seem to find, as if erased as much as everyone else's memories. Memories that, Rose reminded himself sternly, didn't exist to begin with.

Either way, Rose had liked the podcast plenty back then, and a part of them was excited to meet some of the people they'd grown to love by listening. Another was pained with the knowledge that the Fears and Horrors were now real and these people were suffering.

Given Rose remembering forgotten things, their Eye Mark weighs heavy on their shoulders at times. So, they are not afraid of being seen by It, watched by It, in the Institute. They're a tad bit more worried about being Seen by others.

They're just down the road now, seeing the building creep into view, growing larger with each step he took towards it.

Clutching his bag tight, he made his way inside, pushing down the shiver that threatened to race across the entirety of their body when they stepped inside, feeling watched from all sorts of corners.

Time to head to the reception, he supposed. Wondering just who they'd get to meet during his visit.

PU slugcat vessel. In the last image, they're using the thought broadcast technology to communicate concepts / experiences, since I'd assume this might be easier than learning to construct and produce language. Their slugcats can also broadcast specific words, though. It's kind of like those dogs that press buttons, but more intelligent?

Umbra isn't the greatest at being a slugcat. Still, it's good to experiment! or something. this scenario is more of a what-if, but I could still see them branching out into testing this at some point or another in the main canon.

The marks above their heads are PU's own marks of communication. Their slugcats were purposed with them from birth, since they didn't want any distress with adjusting to them later in the creatures' lives. They're very conscientious about caring for these companion organisms properly, likely due to their own perspective as a smaller being (as compared to a standard Iterator).

The ID drone is still present and still very necessary to keep things working properly. i haven't figured out the inner workings of this vessel in- depth bc that sounds like a lot of time i could spend fleshing out concepts that are actually relevant haha
