1. Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike?

Yes!! I daydream so much it’s ridiculous, I’d probably have a lot more finished stuff if I did just go straight into it, but the pro of it is that I can plan it out exactly how I want and then come up with a descriptive outline to help me write!

6. What’s the last line you wrote?

“Despite living on an island with not just one, but two pools, Daniel hasn’t seen Armand actually swim.” From a tvc armand/daniel fic I have planned!! I decided I want them goofing around and having a fun time in the pool, and I think it’ll end with them relaxing in the hot tub

18. Do you enjoy research?  Which fic of yours required the most research?

I love research! I don’t really tend to do it for my fics though, and if I do then it’s for sillier things. For example, in a trail of honey I looked into what the best kind of knife to use for cutting pineapple (it’s a chef knife which gets mentioned literally one time) as well as the best method of cutting a pineapple, which again, was very minimally included.

In bloodletting, I actually researched a lot about bloodletting even though very little of it actually made it into the fic. I think I could’ve done more with the info but I wanted it to be more lighthearted. Something that I learned though is that barbers used to do bloodletting!! Their poles represent venous blood (blue), arterial blood (red), and bandages (white). So I decided to include a little line about sweeney todd to draw it back to that, and even looked up broadway dates to see when Daniel might’ve gone!
