Weapon Bayek, Alexios, Eivor
Bayek - Chopes
Together with Bayek you followed Templar to the arena. To get closer to him, you entered the tournaments. Truthfully, you didn't really want to do it, but Bayek convinced you that it was the right thing to do.
Bayek was your real weapon. Before the fight, you checked your pads while you examined the tattoo, the mark on your wrist.
It was an eagle-headed chopesh on a part of the blade decorated with hyreoglyphs. The hilt of the sword was bound in a way that reminded you of Bayek's clothes.
Asasin promised you everything would be alright and kissed you in encouragement. He knew you would make it.
You had to survive five fights in the arena to get to the Temolar, who was in the last one. All in all, you and Bayek did well and managed to defeat a few enemies without a fight, when you pushed them into the traps that were set in the arena.
In the last round you had a Templar waiting for you, to which you discovered that it had sold out as a weapon and become a demon. It was a really tough fight, and at one point you were even worried if you were going to make it at all.
Eventually though, with the help of an asasin, you managed to create a special attack that you used to defeat the Templar. Bayek then ate his soul. He said he didn't like doing it, that these souls were disgusting, but again, he did it so that they wouldn't appear on earth among the living.
After all that, Bayek took you to the edge of town to thank you for the way you fought today. You sat in the grass under the palm trees, fresh fruit on a cloth beside you, and watched the sunset together.
Gradually, you would sit closer. You'd lay your head on his shoulder and he'd kiss you on the lips.
Alexios - Tip of the spear
You were locked up in the prison of Cosmos. You were forced there because of the mark of the weapon on your wrist. The broken spear that you were carrying. But you didn't tell them anything because you hadn't found your weapon yet.
You heard screams and alarms from all over. The one who caused it was a mythios named Alexios who freed you and who wanted to know why you were being held there. After all, they wouldn't do that without a reason.
You told him you were being held there because of a weapon you didn't have. Alexios took you in his arms, since you were weak from the torture, and made his escape with you.
Cosmos was ready for you and prevented you from escaping. You were trapped. Alexios, however, had such an inkling of his master. You didn't want to fight, but you had no choice at the moment.
Alexios turned into a weapon and you grabbed him. The weapon began to glow and golden threads appeared around you, creating a perfectly fitting suit of armor. In your mind you could hear Alexios giving you advice on fighting, but you felt so connected to him that you didn't even need the advice. Eventually you got out of there unharmed.
When you got to safety, Alexios decided to keep you as his master. He made it far on his own, but with your help, he was able to defeat his sister, whom he held in his spare cosmos.
You were hesitant. You were glad you found your weapon, but you didn't know if his lifestyle was for you. Alexios took your hand surprisingly gently, the tattoo on it proving that you belonged together.
It was the end of a spear, with a damascus blade that was speckled with gold, forming the head of an eagle. The hilt was wrapped in red cloth, and the ends of it were interwoven with gold.
Alexios kissed your fingertips to show you that he wasn't just brute force, but could be gentle as well.
Eivor - One-handed battle axe
Eivor's previous master was Haytham, but he was not his true master, and he would be returning to Syria shortly.
Eivor was in a bad mood that day, as Haytham told me the news that he would be without a master very soon. By this time, you had joined the village. You were a new member of the village, a master without a weapon, who washed up on the shore of their settlement.
You had no idea you were only left in the village because of the mark on your wrist. Even though everyone told you that you were an honorary member of the village, you felt like you were in a prison because you weren't allowed to leave or leave without supervision.
You walked past the Viking and headed towards a less populated area of the village. You tried to give the impression that you were just out for a walk, but at the first opportunity you wanted to escape.
You were on the edge of the village when Eivor grabbed your arm. You slipped away and grabbed him like a weapon. Unexpectedly, a protector appeared on your arm. But you didn't care. You stuck him in a tree and took off running.
You didn't get very far, though, because the Viking caught up with you and knocked you down. Now that he knew you were his true master, he wasn't going to let you go. He threw you over his shoulder and carried you back to the village. You were about to be promoted. Eivor moved you into his longhouse, and gradually the Viking grew on you.

What if the assassins ended up in Monster Hunter World where you fight dinosaurs?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Mxv9AM397Y8&pp=ygUVTW9uc3RlciBodW50ZXIgd29ybGQg
Speaking of Monster Hunter World, here’s an idea of which MonHun monster Desmond could be reincarnated to and an idea of Desmond being reborn as a Zinogre.
Now, as for how the Assassins would react if they were placed in Monster Hunter World? Primarily, they would realize that they’re all in the same boat and start helping one another, naturally forming a Brotherhood of some kind. Because of their legendary status, Altaïr and Ezio would be pushed into becoming the mentors (with Desmond in the background, trying to push for Ratonhnhaké:ton to be included and Ratonhnhaké:ton going “stop, Desmond, I don’t want to lead anyone. Please, Desmond, this is embarrassing.”).
Bayek doesn’t even throw his name in the ring because he wants to see how the Hidden Ones, oh, right, Assassin Brotherhood would fare and he was curious what kind of mentors these supposed legendary mentors are.
They’d be seen as a separate guild of some kind that would specialize in ambushes and traps. There are rumors that they take care of… ‘bad’ people but that’s just a rumor since everyone is too busy fighting monsters and fortifying their bases to actually start fighting with one another.
Of course, the Assassins would definitely hunt monsters together too and their hidden blade is rarely used.
As for their weapons, they knew they needed to use weapons made specifically to battle these monsters as it would simply be more time, material and cost efficient.
Preliminary thoughts of what weapons each Assassin would go for (I only used weapons that can be found in MonHun World since this ask did specify MonHun World):
Altaïr: Insect Glaive mainly for mobility and aerial combat. He wanted to try one of the ‘stranger’ weapon mechanic or so he says. Ezio and Desmond believes he just wants to fly and strike monsters from high above. He has glaives for every weakness and kinsects for every situation. He is one of their leading researchers though so the materials for his equipment usually falls into being Desmond’s responsibility since he’s mostly on the field (in exchange, Desmond gets priority for any crafting requests he may have)
Ezio: Gunlance (he saw the gun and wanted to try it out. It was very, very different from the hidden blade and, at the point, he’s just too stubborn to try any other weapon and mastered this one)
Ratonhnhaké:ton: Bow (he saw Altaïr, Ezio and Desmond picking melee option and decided that these people need a long range support and he has already mastered the bow so it was easy for him understand how bows in this world works. Since he already mastered the bow, he’s been trying out the light bowgun for something different)
Desmond: Hunting Horn (Actually went for Long Sword at first but after talking to more veteran hunters, he switched to a Hunting Horn to provide support instead. Since any teams he goes with are all attackers, he figured providing them with support would be better than being an attacker as well. It’s because he’s a support hunter that a lot of hunters want to team up with him, making him regularly go on the field… and be Altaïr’s mat farmer)
Edward: Dual Blades (He was used to dual wielding and dual blades in this world were even lighter than his own. He does miss his pistols though. Usually hunts with Ratonhnhaké:ton but also sometimes hunt with the Frye twins and Arno whenever they can’t get Desmond to come with them)
Arno: Heavy Bowgun (He gravitated towards Jacob and Evie early on, saw that they tend to get too focused when they’re in combat and went for a long range weapon that can be used as support to keep an eye on the entire battlefield. He has a lot of healing bullets. He’s also Altaïr’s number one customer because Altaïr crafts bullets for him on a discounted price. In exchange, he and his team usually gets roped into helping Desmond farm mats for Altaïr whenever Desmond’s usual team is busy)
Jacob: Switch Axe (switching looked cool so he tried it out. He and Evie realized they both picked weapon that could switch forms and they’re too stubborn to change now because it felt like a defeat on whoever would switch first. He does enjoy switching midcombo a lot)
Evie: Charge Blade (She liked how it could be a sword and shield or an axe. She mostly stay in sword and axe form and only changes to the axe form when it’s charged up and she sees an opening)
Bayek: Sword and Shield (he knew how to use both and he’s pretty much an all rounder who plays more of a supporting sub-dps role to the hard hitters, sometimes even getting aggro so the others could fall back. Always a reliable person to have in a hunting party.)
#ask and answer#this was a bit hard to write#because if given a choice#all of them would probably make their own weapons similar to what they’re familiar with#but i wanted to give them canon weapons#did I give altaïr the insect glaive because it’s my main weapon in any monhun game?#no#maybe#shhhhhh#assassin's creed#desmond miles#altaïr ibn la'ahad#ezio auditore#ratonhnhaké:ton#connor kenway#edward kenway#arno dorian#jacob frye#evie frye#bayek of siwa#teecup writes/has a plot#fic idea: assassin's creed#fic idea: monster hunter world#fic idea: crossover

finished AC Origins! I liked it a lot, Bayek might be one of my favorite protags
#not that i have an established ranking but if i did he would be way up there. poor guy#it's a big game. i didn't really bother with the (formal) sidequests but MSQ; clearing up the maps; and upgrading the equipment takes a min#don't know how i feel about the extra RPG elements with substats on weapons and such. and i wish the armor system was like in AC2#(for example) where you have different Sets and can mix and match. give me Fashion's Creed#also my gripes about it ''not feeling like an AC game'' were fully due to the controls. switched them up and never felt the friction again#this isn't an Origins-only problem but i miss having the hidden blade as a selectable weapon. let me do OHKO counterattacks#i also felt for layla. must suck to realize that for all the ''promise'' they say you show you barely even count as a pawn#a visionary just as disposable as any other poor fool#although i liked the 2nd DLC i felt that the facial animations were off? like the eyes were too static#and the memory corridors were scaled back for both DLCs. though i will admit the sinai templar ones did creep me out#i kept bayek's beard for my whole playthrough so when i look at renders and screenies and promos he looks peeled#darktalks#onto odyssey now

Since I got Tumblr and have free range to rant however I want, its time for the Assassin's Creed main characters and how they walk post!!!
With each of the games, they change the main characters walking animation to fit their vibe and I need to be able to study them beheehe
Desmond
I don't have too much to say about Desmond's other than his is simple and similar to Ezio's and Altaïr's and I like to think that this is due to the bleeding effect(it happened to me too I walk like the assassin's all the time) his is a little more confined and he keeps his arms closer to himself so he's very typical in the way he walks
Altaïr
In his walk he has a sway to his hips and steady hands(probably to keep himself ready for any assassination), but goddamn the SWAY I never noticed it.
His shoulders also sway with his walk and I love how fluid he is in general, this ties back to his robes for me and how flowy they are to show the grace of an assassin in high profile but when low profile they stay to his sides and he's all in the shadows and I REALLY love that about him.
Ezio
This gif is all I could find so i can't really remember if Ezio's walk is different in Ac2 from Altaïr's because ubisoft is the king of recycling things but whatever. He still has the outward stance but I do notice his head is pointed low to try and keep himself hidden(shadows shit be like) but ofc hes holding the apple here so it's hard to tell if he's trying to swing his arm a lot lol, anyway body language is important to Ezio so hes very good at looking broody as well as fluid in his movements
Connor
(Walk Cycle Research | PKlover4078)
My man my man my man my man😍‼️‼️
The way Connor walks with his hands stretched out and then clenching his fists every moment because he's always ready for a fight goddamn this MF could take me in an alleyway and I'd be happy. I'd like to note with this gif, it doesn't show his slow slow walk and I remember it pretty well, he has a slight cautious aura in his walk, he's really careful in his foot placement(I think) and he's super awesome and I love him a lot. Since we have him running I'd like to talk about that too. He has such an efficient sprint it's so mesmerizing, he keeps his head low and just fuckin vrooms across the colonies<3
Aveline
You can barely see her here bc the damn community doesn't care for Aveline much but I like her even tho I haven't played Liberation, I enjoy the way she walks in a proper manner and she's got that strut the runway strut is everything. I also like how she has a wider swing in her arms, more carefree and comfortable.
Edward
This is such a great quality gif thanks so much Ac fandom!!
Anyway, I really love the difference in Edwards walk compared to the rest of the assassins because he's a pirate, he hasn't had the teaching of grace and secrecy. Therefore his walk is staggering in his footwork but still proper bc he's a sword fighter and very good at it. In a longer gif you'd be able to tell but his footing is a little messy, showing that drunken sailor pirate personality shows in his walk. He has a close arm swing due to him always needing to be close to his weapons, ready for a fight(like his grandson<3)
Haytham
I can barely see how he's walking but I'm pretty sure he had his hand on his sword hilt which says so much abt his character, again always being ready for a fight. He has a very straight posture due to his pompous nature, quick in his form to be efficient because why walk if you don't look proper and efficient?
Shay
Ok he's a Templar and so is Haytham but fuck you I love them.
His walk is so GOOD his walk has a heavy step and he's very prominent, got that straight posture again, not much to say about his arm sway other than the added shoulder sway, love that for him bc he's just so intimidating.
(For reasons I'm not doing Arno, Evie, Jacob, Kassandra, and Eivor since I haven't played their games)
Bayek
Bayek's walk is very different from every other assassin and that makes me love him so much more. He feels very carefree and relaxed but when in combat good lord does he go off!! He puts more sway in his arms than his hips and that's probably why he has a combat centered walk, like Edward.
If you've reached the end thank you for reading my rambling ass get over excited over walk cycle animations :) follow for more rambling!!

I have finally surfaced from the deep waters of Baldur's Gate that had me drowning for the last few months
And so, I have moved on to Assassin's Creed: Mirage
It's interesting how much it ifeels both like AC1 and AC: Origins at once. Yet you can still tell it was supposed to be a Valhalla DLC - the movements, NPC behavior (unless they are the named ones), even, to a point, the environment - reminds me of Valhalla
And yet they somehow managed to fit the mission style (at least so far) that resembles ACII into it. And finally! There is way more clutter that you can climb all over
Now
To the story itself
Baby Basim is adorable and should be protected at all costs. And should not be allowed to go without a beard
Mind, I'm not even done with the first major assassination - so that may well change yet. But right now? He reminds me of a mix of Ezio and Bayek, leaning more towards Bayek. Which makes my Bayek-loving heart beat faster.
But you can definitely tell he is his own character, still. For one - I don't think I've ever spent as much time pickpocketing people as I did here. Just going around Bazaar and nabbing the shiny golden pouches? Feels natural with Basim. And fun. I already have the achievement for it, one play session in
Stealth is another thing entirely... I'm not sure it's because I switched to a narrower keyboard recently, or is it me being rusty with AC games - or maybe even because it's intended as such. But Basim definitely feels like a glass canon. Parkouring? Assassinating? Those feel VERY comfortable, even without any substantial long-range weapon (like the bows we had in the three previous games). There are plenty of places to hide and plenty other options to use instead of taking the direct fight. But direct fight? I'll have to try and change the keybindings for dodge and parry just to make sure it's not due to keyboard - but direct fight feels lousy. Not because you can't do it, but because Basim seems to take so much damage
I'm very eager to see how Caravanserai mission will turn out

My biggest issue with AC:Origins is still that we couldn't play as Aya throughout the entire game. Don't get me wrong, I love Bayek with my whole heart, but it felt so weird to be ripped away from the character I'd spent hours and hours leveling up and equipping with the best weapons, only to do some of the most important missions as Aya with her two lil knives

Remedyverse/Silent Hill OC: Nina Orosco.
Name: Nina Orosco.
Age: 29
Affiliations: FBC
Occupation: FBC Agent
Description: Born in New York, Nina Orosco is the cousin of Angela Orosco and childhood friend. She grew up in an ordinary household where she was an only child but loved to meet her cousin who she considers like a sister to her. She was always known to write poetry at a young age and would make stories in notebook. Eventually, Nina graduated from high school and became a drifter trying to find herself while driving a repaired RV. She tried to contact her cousin if she can stay at her place but she eventually got nothing but static from her phone. In Michigan, her car hit something and she found herself near an FBC facility where an altered world event occurred. Nina was contacted by FBC agent Bayek Salawi who gave her an HRA and access to weaponized paranatural objects and arguments to fight the threat that came from an object of power called the Book which was an object from Silent Hill. The threat was soon contained and Nina was given the title of agent, she’s currently stationed at the Silent Hill facility where scientists are stumped.
Personality: Nina is a rather creative free spirit in a sense as she possesses an active imagination while also being unsure of herself at the same time. She felt empty in every job she took up and didn’t feel satisfied. She felt that there was something more to life and there was secrets out there. That is where fate had different plans for her as she was involved in the incident. Since then, Nina is more confident with herself after becoming an agent for the bureau. Nina knew it was her calling. She was close friends with her cousin Angela Orosco who she considered a sister and has been trying to find her ever since she’s vanished.

On the 27th of October, seven years ago, Assassin's Creed Origins was released for Windows, PS4 and XBOX ONE.
Assassin's Creed Origins is set in ancient Egypt during the Ptolemaic period. The game follows Bayek, a Medjay warrior seeking vengeance and justice, and explores the founding of the Assassin Brotherhood. Known for its vast, open-world design, Origins introduces RPG elements like skill trees, weapon upgrades, and leveling systems, which marked a new direction for the series. The detailed recreation of Egypt—with cities, deserts, and historical landmarks—allows players to immerse themselves in a richly atmospheric and historically inspired environment.

Bayek and Amunet: what did they call their brotherhood(s)?
I decided to do some research.
I watched the last scene in Origins again where they part ways, to me, Bayek named themselves the Hidden Ones, and for location I don't know, it does not say. However, I muse that their brotherhood is formed out of their love, their love begin in the Duat, (do at) the Egyptian underworld.
Others have said it would be the Ptolemaic Brotherhood, loosely.
However, Bayek hated the Ptolemiac Rulers, because his son was killed, so there is no way he is calling it that. From a scholar's standpoint who isn't connected, looking at the time frame, one would call it that, but there is no way.
The Ptolemaic Kingdom, also known as the Ptolemaic Empire, was an Ancient Greek state based in Egypt during the Hellenistic period12345. It was founded in 305 BC by Ptolemy I Soter, a companion of Alexander the Great, and lasted until the death of Cleopatra VII in 30 BC2. The Ptolemies were ,the longest and most recent Egyptian dynasty of ancient origin, ruling for nearly three centuries2. The Ptolemies broke millennia of tradition when they based the capital of their Egyptian empire not in Thebes or Luxor but in Alexandria, a newly constructed port on the Mediterranean Sea.
I muse that it would be called The Duak, because it implies what is brought here from the underworld. Bayek was a romantic, he would have implied it with it's name, because Aya his wife, changed to Amunet, and they parted ways due to the death of their son. However, Bayek was keen to all early Hidden ones that they remain secretive, so that is probably (I muse) ut has no actual location of name for the first brotherhood(s), and neither does Amunet's brotherhood that she helped found. Which I think was much more in Greece than Egypt.
Duat means "down below" and Duak implies "brought forth". However, this is a musing of a first brotherhood, and it may be more reasonable to believe that they were working with Alamut or the Persian brotherhood, due to warriors like Darius and Basim, which is also written about in the fandom, https://assassinscreed.fandom.com, where Basim requests help from Bayek and his Egyptian brotherhood.
In Assassin's creed odyssey, both Bayek and Amunet can be co captain's of Kassandra's fleet on the Andrestia.
According to Bing's Chat Search:
According to the Assassin’s Creed Wiki 1, Bayek founded the first bureau of the Hidden Ones in Memphis, Egypt2. He sometimes used the alias “Amun” when signing off on letters of correspondence1. The Hidden Ones were the precursor organization to the Assassins, who fought against the tyranny of the Order of the Ancients1.
Sometimes in Egyptian lore, Memphis was seen as the beginning of the Duat or birthplace of the Duat. As if the portal opened there.
I could muse that he could have called it the Diat, meaning "Brought here" as brought to earth. Or he could have gone with a more Akkadian name, like Uruk, or something like Urud Asad. Will we ever truly know? lol Give it a "Tumblr Canon Name" lol
The Andrestia is the name of the ship that the player uses to sail across the Aegean Sea in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey1. It is a single-sailed trireme with a crew of over 200 people, armed with arrows, javelins, and fire braziers2. The player can upgrade the ship’s hull, weapons, and cosmetics, as well as recruit lieutenants from various enemies and allies3. The Andrestia is captained by Barnabas, a friend of the main character, Kassandra4. The ship also serves as a fast travel point and a source of naval contracts and bounties3. The Andrestia is named after the Greek goddess of justice and revenge2.

Ptah is an ancient Egyptian deity, a creator god and patron deity of craftsmen and architects. He was the chief god of Memphis, the capital of Egypt from the 1st dynasty onward. He was also the father of the sage Imhotep, who was revered as a god of medicine and wisdom1. Ptah was depicted as a mummified man with a skullcap and a short beard, holding a staff that combined the symbols of life, stability, and power2. He was part of the Memphite Triad, along with his wife Sekhmet, the goddess of war and healing, and his son Nefertem, the god of the lotus and the dawn3. Ptah was also associated with the sacred bull Apis, who was believed to be his manifestation and gave oracles at his temple4.

Also spelled PhPtah. (Fa-Tah?) Pas-Tah?
I muse further: If Basim knew the Egyptian Hidden ones, instead of one kingdom or time frame dictating or following one after the other, wouldn't it make sense if The timelines of Egypt and Alamut/Ottoman Brotherhoods existed at the same time, as perhaps the bureau's of Valhalla?

How would the assassins react to meeting Samus Aran?
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WIxiQ09ui6o&pp=ygUKU2FtdXMgYXJhbg%3D%3D
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=7_YC7IW1zCU&pp=ygURTWV0cm9pZCBnYW1lcGxheSA%3D
Altaïr – It’s a toss up if he’s going to make a comment about Samus’ suit underneath her armor that would lead him to hot waters but he’s much more interested in the armor itself and would probably ask Samus how it works and such. Definitely would ask if he could try wearing the armor out of scientific curiosity.
Ezio – Would absolutely assume Samus is trying to proposition him when she gets out of her armor and he sees her suit. It’ll be embarrassing once he realized it’s not like that but he won’t let it get to him and continue talking to Samus as he liked before he even knew she was a woman underneath that armor. Will only start to flirt once more if Samus does it first.
Ratonhnhaké:ton – Wouldn’t even bat an eye that the one inside the armor was a woman. Would definitely look away because that suit is quite tight. He would wonder why people of this time would want to wear tight clothes and ask if the fabric used gave them more protection than actual padded clothes.
Desmond – Why should he even be surprised? He just got transported into the future where humans are fighting aliens or something. He’s in a scifi setting and he’s gonna roll with it.
Edward – After Mary Read? Yeah, Edward would be surprised but he wouldn’t be, like, confused by it. He’s more interested in Samus’ weapons right now. Like his ancestor, would only flirt with her if she flirts first.
Arno – He would also be more interested in Samus’ weapons. Hell, he won’t be surprised that a woman is underneath that armor considering he’s been in love with a badass woman for years (decades?). The idea of flirting with her would never even cross his mind though.
Jacob – Would be flirting with her when he thought she was a man underneath that armor in a light hearted way. Would start flirting with her hard once he learned she’s a woman.
Evie – She’d be fascinated with Samus’ weaponry and the tech behind it. She’d even ask if there was any similar suit she can try out but she’d feel strange once she learns how hard it is to stealth in them. She’d think Jacob would love to wear them though but she won’t tell Jacob that.
Bayek – He’d treat her the same way he had when they first met. Nothing will actually change. It’s not surprising to him considering he believes Aya is the strongest person in the entire world anyway.
Basim – Would definitely try to steal one of the smaller weapons for him to use on his own. Would also skirt the line of being polite and being flirty once he learns Samus is a woman. If this is post!Mirage Basim, he might be thinking of using this advanced technology for his own needs.

Which of my OCs lays pipe the best?
Easy answer; Silvandrel (Solemnar)
✨Now for the lore drop✨
Silvandrel is his real name, Solemnar is his alias - aliases are a popular choice for a lot of people in his line of work.
He’s a Thalmor Battlemage / Fist
He’s a big boy, standing at almost 8ft tall, and is proficient in Destruction (Lightning), Alteration, One Handed, Speechcraft and (hilariously, given his size) Sneak.
When he’s not out on the battlefield, he’s the Thalmor equivalent of the Sniper on the Roof™️ (I was inspired by this thing I read about “Fists of the Thalmor”), except instead of using marksmanship, he just drops down from his hiding spot and hits his target(s) like a cannonball, armed with a dagger. Y’know like how in AC you can jump from a height and kill from above?
Imagine ya boys Alexios or Bayek, but bigger, scarier, and equipped with claws and fangs.
Yup, he’s a vampire, too. He’s trained to use every part of his physique to his advantage, so you know he’s got that good good.
He’s not exactly the definition of conventionally attractive, and not by Thalmor standards - yes, he’s an Altmer, but unlike your typical poster boy, he’s built like a brick shithouse, has long and messy ashy-grey hair, a crooked nose (from having it broken so many times during battle), yellow cat-like eyes, bat-like ears and a squint in his right eye - the squint is due to a combo of the stress that his magick use puts on his brain and an incident wherein an experimental shock spell backfired and essentially permanently paralysed those eye muscles.
He’s got a bit of a dark backstory - he was born into the Thalmor, and was raised to be nothing more than a weapon. Even at birth, he was deemed a ‘mutant’ and ‘ugly’ due to his size, complexion, and the fact that he was born a vampire. If that’s not bad enough?
He was used as a Guinea pig for magickal experiments conducted by the Thalmor to alter his physical chemistry and the way his brain works to wire him for war.
They didn’t see an innocent child. They saw an opportunity in a monster. If you combine the Winter Soldier with Frankenstein’s Monster, you get Silvandrel.
I’m doing some shady Thalmor quests with him and then kicking him into the Imperial legion. Unfortunately, I don’t think Silvandrel would ever be able to break away from the Thalmor - he’s been brainwashed, traumatised, experimented on, dragged through multiple wars and I think if someone tried to put him in a quiet environment he would literally ✨uninstall life✨.
BUT
If you’re brave (or stupid) enough, he’s a good lay. He has the most impressive control over shock magick (he can make empty soul gems vibrate 👀), he finds primal play therapeutic (he likes to play cat and mouse), and he knows exactly how to please a woman (c’mon, he’s an Agent. Getting into bed with someone is a piece of cake for him).
Take it one step further; make him fall in love with you.
He can be gentle. He can and will learn your routines. He’ll learn what you like and dislike and follow your rules to a T. He’ll open up to you about wanting to be human. He’ll let you hold onto him when he has nightmares. He would die for you, kill for you, live for you, breathe for you, hang on your every word.
You’d have the world’s scariest guard dog in your pocket. You’d be untouchable.
So who’s gonna get him?
Can’t be Elenwen, she sets off his mummy issues. His relationship with her is like Quasimodo’s relationship with Frollo. Or Rapunzel with Mother Gothel. It’s rough. She put him in Proudspire Manor (a gilded cage) specifically to keep an eye on him, and he can’t leave Solitude without her permission or a dossier stating why he’s leaving.
Can’t be Lydia, she’s off on a jolly with Corryn and his gang.
It’s probably going to be Jordis. She’s gonna end up being subjected to how he acts at home, so she’s going to see more of his real personality than anyone else, given that he lives in Proudspire manor, and she’s the Housecarl. Elenwen’s not happy about Silvandrel being housed with a Nord, but she’s unwilling to let him live in a house on his own.
Even more interesting is that Jordis has the potential to be a Blade 👀👀👀
And we know the Thalmor and the Blades are big time enemies.
Perhaps the Blades send Jordis to pose as a Housecarl to spy on Silvandrel, given that he’s one of the Thalmor’s “secret weapons”?
Juicy.

THE TAGS 🤌🤌🤌 SO TRUE
Let her be a femme fatale let her be a nerd let her be strong, ressourceful, vulnerable and naive. Look at emma frost look at felicia hardy in spiderman this is what we want ! Create a new fighting style and weapons that suit her personnality and physical abilities ! Do not recycle animations from male protagonists !
GIVE US FASHIONNABLE OUTFITS TOO ! EVIE AND AYA'S ROBES ATE JACOB AND BAYEK'S THERE I SAID IT !
Evie had 1000000x more drip than jacob while walking and running around !
After basim i need a female assassin.
No more " you can choose" . Give me a woman born in the brotherhood like the frye but let me see her grow up in it. Childhood training mission. First kill. Introduction to the council and the creed. Being "brainwash" in believing she is doing good.
Or make her a commoner, a child brought into the creed and who realize that all the people at the top of the brotherhood are often aristocrats who never had to let go of their freedom to live the next day.
Let her be devoted to the cause let me see her be even a bit naive in what she believes.
Then let her grow like you let ezio and altair do. Make her cocky but also wise. Not just a living punchlines machine or a disapproving female figure. Do not make her relation to a man the core of her story.
Show her question what she is doing. Make her afraid of being shun by the brotherhood, the only thing, the only rules and life she ever knew. Let her fight for what she knows is a good cause but not what she believes in anymore. Let her loose and get hurt.
Let her rebuild herself. Let her be friend with historic people who are more than cameo and merchants npc and show her what fighting from freedom can mean. What living for yourself can mean.
Show her habits. Show her discovering small pleasures in life that are seen wasteful as an assassin : Her favourite food. Her favourite book.
Make her assassin robes evolve as her fashion tastes and identity evolve too.
#like im a woman and I've played so many male characters so its about damn time the men suck it up and play as a woman.#and dont just make her a woman who's super masculine. make her feminine as well.#prove that women can be pretty and feminine and still run across rooftops and stab people in the necm#if they just have a woman who's basically just a man rebranded... that's cheap.#give her specifically female problems too! and have her use her femininity to her advantage!#a target is a womanizer? great! im a woman so he won't suspect me in this time period so i would sneak into his confidence and HIDDEN BLADE#COWARDS. DO IT#unisoft were COWARDS for giving a male option for a canonically female protag#like ARE YOU KIDDING ME#They want to appease their gamebro fans who will prpbably boycott over a female assassin as the only options#if you're that upset over playing as a female character... sounds like your masculinity is a wee bit fragile#DO IT UBISOFT#GIVE US A FEMALE PROTAGONIST WHO HAS NO MALE OPTION.#DO IT COWARDS#like no GIVE ME WOMEN.

Someday AC will have a rifle or musket in a mainline game that actually has long range and can be equipped.
#Assassins creed#Fin fact rifles in unity have the same range as pistols#Meaning you lose all the utility of a sword and pistol for nothing.#The closest we've come is Shay's air rifle and various Bows used by Bayek Kassandra and Eivor respectively.#Those are the longest range weapons we've had.
