What if the assassins ended up in Monster Hunter World where you fight dinosaurs?

Speaking of Monster Hunter World, here’s an idea of which MonHun monster Desmond could be reincarnated to and an idea of Desmond being reborn as a Zinogre.
Now, as for how the Assassins would react if they were placed in Monster Hunter World? Primarily, they would realize that they’re all in the same boat and start helping one another, naturally forming a Brotherhood of some kind. Because of their legendary status, Altaïr and Ezio would be pushed into becoming the mentors (with Desmond in the background, trying to push for Ratonhnhaké:ton to be included and Ratonhnhaké:ton going “stop, Desmond, I don’t want to lead anyone. Please, Desmond, this is embarrassing.”).
Bayek doesn’t even throw his name in the ring because he wants to see how the Hidden Ones, oh, right, Assassin Brotherhood would fare and he was curious what kind of mentors these supposed legendary mentors are.
They’d be seen as a separate guild of some kind that would specialize in ambushes and traps. There are rumors that they take care of… ‘bad’ people but that’s just a rumor since everyone is too busy fighting monsters and fortifying their bases to actually start fighting with one another.
Of course, the Assassins would definitely hunt monsters together too and their hidden blade is rarely used.
As for their weapons, they knew they needed to use weapons made specifically to battle these monsters as it would simply be more time, material and cost efficient.
Preliminary thoughts of what weapons each Assassin would go for (I only used weapons that can be found in MonHun World since this ask did specify MonHun World):
Altaïr: Insect Glaive mainly for mobility and aerial combat. He wanted to try one of the ‘stranger’ weapon mechanic or so he says. Ezio and Desmond believes he just wants to fly and strike monsters from high above. He has glaives for every weakness and kinsects for every situation. He is one of their leading researchers though so the materials for his equipment usually falls into being Desmond’s responsibility since he’s mostly on the field (in exchange, Desmond gets priority for any crafting requests he may have)
Ezio: Gunlance (he saw the gun and wanted to try it out. It was very, very different from the hidden blade and, at the point, he’s just too stubborn to try any other weapon and mastered this one)
Ratonhnhaké:ton: Bow (he saw Altaïr, Ezio and Desmond picking melee option and decided that these people need a long range support and he has already mastered the bow so it was easy for him understand how bows in this world works. Since he already mastered the bow, he’s been trying out the light bowgun for something different)
Desmond: Hunting Horn (Actually went for Long Sword at first but after talking to more veteran hunters, he switched to a Hunting Horn to provide support instead. Since any teams he goes with are all attackers, he figured providing them with support would be better than being an attacker as well. It’s because he’s a support hunter that a lot of hunters want to team up with him, making him regularly go on the field… and be Altaïr’s mat farmer)
Edward: Dual Blades (He was used to dual wielding and dual blades in this world were even lighter than his own. He does miss his pistols though. Usually hunts with Ratonhnhaké:ton but also sometimes hunt with the Frye twins and Arno whenever they can’t get Desmond to come with them)
Arno: Heavy Bowgun (He gravitated towards Jacob and Evie early on, saw that they tend to get too focused when they’re in combat and went for a long range weapon that can be used as support to keep an eye on the entire battlefield. He has a lot of healing bullets. He’s also Altaïr’s number one customer because Altaïr crafts bullets for him on a discounted price. In exchange, he and his team usually gets roped into helping Desmond farm mats for Altaïr whenever Desmond’s usual team is busy)
Jacob: Switch Axe (switching looked cool so he tried it out. He and Evie realized they both picked weapon that could switch forms and they’re too stubborn to change now because it felt like a defeat on whoever would switch first. He does enjoy switching midcombo a lot)
Evie: Charge Blade (She liked how it could be a sword and shield or an axe. She mostly stay in sword and axe form and only changes to the axe form when it’s charged up and she sees an opening)
Bayek: Sword and Shield (he knew how to use both and he’s pretty much an all rounder who plays more of a supporting sub-dps role to the hard hitters, sometimes even getting aggro so the others could fall back. Always a reliable person to have in a hunting party.)
