when people reblog donation posts and say "donate what you can", I really feel like people aren't actually internalising it. not all of us can afford to donate $50, $100, more than that. but i know for a fact that there are thousands of us that can spare $2 or $5, and that all adds up.
it hurts so much to sit here and feel the limits of our own ability. we're not millionaires. we can't instantly fund these escape attempts. but these are bids for life, by people who never asked for the hellfire being rained upon them by sadistic colonialists, greedy for oil and land. they committed no crime other than being born in palestine. and of course it's unfair, to have to shoulder the weight of people's lives when we're all struggling to get by as it is. but our governments relentlessly fail us, they fail to scrape at the bottom of their cold dead hearts for their last dregs of humanity. it is so, so unfair, but it is up to the common man to save each other.
please. look at this spreadsheet. find a fund that resonates with you. and DONATE WHAT YOU CAN.

26 April 2024
Environmental engineer and public health consultant Dr. Tamer Al-Najjar reports that despite the occupation’s attempt to destroy it, the Indonesian Hospital will be back to operation within the next few weeks. Work is also already underway to return Al-Shifa Hospital to operation, which we have seen from the social media accounts of staff members.
There is never a time to lose hope, but especially not now. Gaza lives, and Palestine WILL be free in our lifetimes.

I feel so helpless but not hopeless. No matter what don’t lose hope. We, as a collective, are starting to make the politicians sweat. They notice the growing support for Palestine. Palestine will be free within our lifetime.

Boycott, Divest, and Sanction Israel
Apartheid is incredibly expensive to maintain and unsustainable without massive propaganda campaigns. It is falling apart already and we need to end this colonial project. Israel spends millions to erase or justify the atrocities we witness live every day, and we can make it even more expensive for them.
South African apartheid fell in no small part due to their economy not being able to handle maintaining that evil when they were abandoned on an international scale. The same is happening to Israel. Every time we like/share/comment for a free Palestine, they lose money. This western imperialist business venture will collapse within our lifetime.

Here’s some positivity for systems whose lives are affected by the genocide happening in the Levant!
War and genocide are always devastating and can have widespread, horrible effects. Our hearts go out to every system and singlet whose lives have been affected or irreparably altered by the genocide and war waged by Israel against Palestine and recently Lebanon and Syria at this time. If you are a Jewish, Muslim, Arabic, Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, or Israeli system who is struggling to cope with these atrocities, both inside and outside the Levant, this post is for you.
🕊️ Shoutout to systems who have recently faced a lot of Islamophobia, antisemitism, racism, or xenophobia, even by those within their community who they trust!
☮️ Shoutout to systems who have been regularly attending protests and standing up for Palestinian, Lebanese, and Syrian liberation!
🕊️ Shoutout to anti-Zionist Israeli systems who feel lost, trapped, terrified, or hopeless about their current situation!
☮️ Shoutout to systems with families or who themselves have had their homes destroyed, lost loved ones, or have been a victim of war in Palestine, Lebanon, or Syria!
🕊️ Shoutout to affected systems living outside the Levant who wish there was more they could do to fight against the current ethnic cleansing!
☮️ Shoutout to Jewish systems who are tired and dismayed of their own people’s history and generational traumas being used as an excuse to commit another genocide!
🕊️ Shoutout to systems who wish now more than ever people from all sorts of different backgrounds could come together to make peace and look after each other!
☮️ Shoutout to systems who regularly wear or display keffiyehs, Palestinian, Lebanese, or Syrian flags, and other symbols of resistance!
🕊️ Shoutout to systems who do their best to stay informed about Israel’s genocide in the Levant, even when it’s exhausting, disheartening, or difficult!
☮️ Shoutout to systems who share fundraisers, donate, and otherwise do their best to help struggling victims of this genocide financially however they can!
🕊️ Shoutout to systems who have never given up hope for a free Palestine and the end of Israel in our lifetimes!
☮️ Shoutout to the systems who believe in resistance, believe in peace, and believe that “never again means never again, for anyone!”
Friends, there is so much we can say here, and we’re not sure where to begin. Our hearts go out to those living in the Levant who are victims of this genocide. We are praying for your safety and the safety of your families, friends, and loved ones. We are praying for the swift end of this genocide and the end of the state which has brought it about. We are praying that those displaced may one day be able to return to their homeland. We are praying for peace, happiness, and fulfillment in your futures.
To those of us who are not directly affected, let’s work harder than ever to stand up against racism, Islamophobia, antisemitism, and xenophobia whenever we see it. Remember, zionism is not Judaism, and you can and must fight back against both this genocide and the antisemitism that threatens our Jewish friends and allies, today and every day. Learn how to recognize hatred and bigotry in your spaces, and call it out whenever you see it. It is possible to band together, to uplift each other, and to fight for liberation together, regardless of background!
If there is anything at all we can do to be better allies to Palestinians, Lebanese, Syrians, other Arab folks, Muslims, or Jews, please let us know. We may not be directly affected by this genocide, but genocide impacts us all! When one of us is at risk, we are all at risk. None of us are free until all of us are free! Know that we want to fight for you, we want to be a better ally and stand up for you, we care about you and we want to see you through to safer times. Please do your best to take care of yourselves and each other, and know we are keeping you in our thoughts and in our hearts. 💖🇵🇸🇱🇧🇸🇾💖

I want to make it clear to all my followers that, as a proud Jew, I have an abundant love for the Palestinian people & all those seeking freedom from suffering and oppression.
Israel—an exclusionary, militaristic ethnostate—will never deliver diaspora Jews from violence. It will never make our communities safer. It will not save us from antisemitism.
Within its borders, ethnic minorities such as Mizrahi Jews, Africans, and others are second-class citizens. The IDF has committed acts of brutality and cruelty that go unmatched in modern states. Gaza is an open-air prison in which 2 million people suffer needlessly without water, healthcare, food, or basic human rights. Daily, Palestinian homes are bought and stolen, dispensed like candy to foreign settlers with no respect for the native people they displace.
I mourn for the Israeli civilians who were killed, as no human being deserves to have their life shattered by war.
But I mourn deeply, as I always have, the millions of human beings in Palestine who are crushed underfoot, without second thought, by a bloodthirsty war machine.
We have no right to that land. We have no right to raze its people and its homes.
I pray that in my lifetime, Palestine will be free.

Do you believe, truly, that Gazans and Palestinians will be free? I want to believe that, but seeing my friends and family perish with so little respect is planting a hideous seed in my mind that is so difficult to dig out. Not to mention how few countries are actively supporting Palestine in this crisis, possibly out of fear for the Samson Option. How are you coping with this fear?
Justice will prevail be it in this life or the life after. This is what most Muslim Palestinians like myself believe and I know my Christian neighbors back home have the same thought too. Whether or not that justice means a free Palestine within my lifetime is another case. I've seen enough family and friends go for simply existing and even I was interrogated with a gun to my head for trying to visit my uncle without having my ID on me. I was 14 at the time.
However, we have always had resilience and pride despite the world being blind to our case for decades. The recent surge of social media activism is only a taste of the resistance we've put up for this whole time all on our own. Never lose hope. So long as a Palestinian breathes with even a pinch of his identity still intact, we will see a free Palestine. We started our resistance alone and by god we will maintain it alone even if no support exists. We always had odds against us and it always seemed hopeless. We have everything to fight for and nothing else to lose but our lives.
If the colonialist project needs dozens of super powers behind it to fight us off with billions and billions of funds in months to even attempt to put up a fight against our children, that's just their sign of a losing battle. Vietnam had seen actual hell, clawed its way out, and sent the US home with its tail between its legs with nothing but trees and a will to live. Irish people were dehumanized and labeled every insult in the book to make them seem like the bad guys despite the horrors committed against them, and still believed in their goals enough to survive. God willing, we won't stop fighting our way out to our dying breath.
There is no reason to live if you won't fight for your life and what you believe in even if just within your heart. There is no fear but my fear of god and having never tried (and maybe dentists).

don't lose hope. keep protesting, keep posting. mobilize to bring about the end of US imperialism and settler colonialism. organize, organize, organize. participate in direct action. don't settle for just trying to appeal to agents of empire (i've called my reps several times per day. by all means keep calling and emailing them, it doesn't take much time and it does put pressure on them, but always keep in mind that their interests are that of empire, and ultimately a free palestine will not happen through them.)
if you identify as just a general "leftist," abandon any reservations you may have towards revolution. the world will not be free until the US empire is dead and that needs to happen sooner rather than later. we need to be organizing ourselves into revolutionary orgs and parties now.
death to america and death to israel. palestine will be free within our lifetime.

if I'm being completely honest i think the one thing I've learnt from Oct 7th is how little i knew about Palestine. Being Muslim, it was a hard pill to swallow because I grew up with constant reminders about Palestine and the struggle for freedom - but it never really occured to me how drastic the situation really was which i guess was the outcome of growing up unoppressed and with first world problems. Anyways, the point I'm trying to make is that I'm truly appreciative of blogs like yours and your mutuals because I have learnt and unlearnt so much. My faith has grown because of the faith shown by Palestinians and I have become so much more aware of life in general. My one wish rn is for all Palestinians to have the right of return and for peace to finally come to their land permanently. Palestinians are truly strong to remain hopeful and even jokey during times of despair.
It sucks to be fully conscious of how terrible and cruel the world actually is but I'm grateful that I'm not living in ignorance anymore. In Sha Allah Palestine will be free and the oppressors will be punished. and In Sha Allah all Palestinians will have their home back
aw thank you so much 🫶🫶 i'm so glad you have learned and unlearned things to become a better ally to palestinians, we appreciate it so much. it's sad how so many people grow up ignorant of what's going on, but that's still no excuse, so alhamdulillah i'm glad i could help you learn what you need to. inshallah palestine will be free within our lifetimes.

"Columbia canceled the event, denying requests to use university space, as did Barnard," the spokeswoman told the Free Beacon. "Despite this, the event organizers held the event in a residence with an online option."
"We are investigating this matter and will not tolerate violations of university policy," the spokeswoman said.
Neither Barnard nor Columbia University Apartheid Divest responded to requests for comment.
The Sunday event featured a who's who of anti-Semitic activists. Kates serves as "international coordinator" of Samidoun, a group that advocates for "Palestinian prisoners," many of whom are convicted terrorists. In addition to its Israeli terror designation, Samidoun is banned in Germany over its support for Hamas terrorism.
Barakat, Kates's husband, has conducted interviewson behalf of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and Palestinian news sites describe him as a leader of the terror group. Israeli intelligence agencies say they have internal documents that cement his status as a PFLP terror leader.
Kiswani, meanwhile, has led pro-Hamas rallies in New York City through Within Our Lifetime, which she founded in 2015. Instagram removed the group's account last month after Kiswani used it to endorse Hamas's attack and advocate for "whatever means necessary it takes" to topple Israel.
During the event, Kates praised Iran as "a nation on the side of the Palestinian people, intervening and building a movement of resistance to free this entire region … from U.S. imperialism." She also advocated for a campaign to end America's list of designated terror organizations "entirely," saying the list stops Palestinian activists from staying "in contact" with foreign actors.
"It is important to popularize campaigns to … scrap the U.S. terror list entirely, or at the very least to get Palestinian, Lebanese, Yemeni, Filipino, and other revolutionary organizations off the terror list," Kates said. "Because that's a weapon that's being used against the Palestinian people, against the Arab people, and against the solidarity movement as a whole, and in order to kind of fundamentally deform the politics of the movement."
For his part, Barakat glowingly discussed the PFLP's wave of terrorism during the 1960s and 1970s. He specifically praised the terror group for hijacking airplanes, which he said "introduced the Palestinian questions to the world." Barakat falsely claimed the hijackings were done peacefully—in fact, PFLP hijackers killed at least two pilots and one Israeli passenger.
