i wasn't working or had class so i slept in and he got up before i woke up to get my fav flowers (lilies and baby's breath) from the local florist and woke me up with those + a little homemade card he tried to make with his. lacking art skills and terrible handwriting <3 its very cute and ends in slow sweet morning sex yum

neither of us wanted to make like an ENTIRE day of it thats so tiring so we spent most of the afternoon just hanging out lazily with each other watching tv, taking little naps on the couch, eating chocolates and kissing maybe some lazy fingering or blowjobs and whatnot

i rly wanted to wear a cute skirt and go ice skating so we did and when i inevitably complained i was cold he put his silly little ushanka on me and i cried laughing every time he busted his ass

then we went home and made dinner together which we ate with a rly nice bottle of prosecco i gave him his gift of a shitty little teddy bear i crocheted for him and he gave me some books i had been wanting and some red lingerie he wanted to see me in dbfdjfdfj then we ate some desserts he had picked up from our favorite bakery and then had lots of sex fdasjkfldsjfdskl but the lingerie didnt stay on very long <3 and that was our valentines day

for games (we have games, and pe -> i can explain in more depth later <3) we have sports kit and for hockey i wear trainers, and the same for tennis and in winter we- i can’t believe i have to say this….

i had lunch early today, im having minimum day today and every wednesday after this!! i had it at 11:58 to 12:33 today! while i usually have it at 12:46 to 1:21. but i still don’t leave school early, im here till 5 today while im usually her3 till 5:30, getting home at 6 or just close to 6.

i also dont like bfast! i just cant eat it. so i only have lunch & dinner. but me and my sister are now making lunches for ourselves but its very small; half a sandwich (one for each) with our own bag of chips. but we also eat when get home, cuz like dinner is almost or is done when we get home and we get home at 5 or 6 so yeah.

7. Talk about your favourite tv show as a kid

I had to think of this for a while because I watched tv A LOT as a kid and my ultimate favorite was this Finnish-Danish-Japanese Moomin cartoon from the 90s. But then I saw something else on my dash and I just knew what I’m gonna talk about!

The 60s Batman tv series. The live-action show. That’s the one.

There was a rerun on TV in 1999 and I turned 8 years old that year, and I had a summer holiday as usual and I happened to see this show on tv and I got OBSESSED with and that is what made me a Batman fan, for real :D So much so that I also wanted to play Batman. Like, I remember it started with me running around the house with a towel as my cape after shower/sauna and from there it got to the point where I actually found black pants and a hoodie and socks that were my “costume”, and I used to knot a black scarf around my head and the knot was supposed to be the ears but obviously it was the worst part of the costume :D My cape was a black “wrapping skirt” of my mom, that worked perfectly as a cape tbh XD And then I’d just run around the house and the yard dressed up as that and pretended to be Batman, I don’t remember anything I did meanwhile, I only remember the “costume”.

Anyhow, I’m still a huge Batman fan and I just wish I had this tv series on dvd! I started rewatching it from tv a few years ago when there was again a rerun but I didn’t get to watch them all before they got deleted from the digibox. We even recorded some episodes on VHS cassettes but I haven’t seen any of those episodes yet as an adult.

What I remember from the show from the time I was a kid, I remember I already had some sort of hurt/comfort obsession because I was always so excited when Robin got in trouble and Batman saved him. And that happened in pretty much every episode where they had to fight the villains (aka every episode) and then those PAM and ZAP signs would fly all over the place - often someone attacked Robin who barely could do anything about it and Batman then grabs and throw the bad guy away. Those literally were my favorite moments in the tv series for whatever reason.

A bit later on I saw the movie they did and there’s just two so iconic scenes that I will never stop laughing at, one is the shark scene:

And the other one is this bomb one, it’s just......... they took it SO SO far that it became funny just because of that :DDDD I always lose it at those damn musicians XD

Also it was of course all in English and me at the age of 8 did not speak any English yet so I probably didn’t understand a thing they were saying but I was still enjoying the series A LOT. That’s also why it’d be fun to finally watch them again as I’d now understand things too. And I’d love a compliaton of all the “holy...” things Robin says. They were always somehow related to the event, e.g. in the movie they’re tied to a damn BUOY and Robin goes “Holy bikini, Batman!” ::D Also all the puns and how every single item in Batcave is literally called Bat- something. Yeah there’s already things like Batarangs and Batcomputer and whatnot in the comics too, but this show took it even further than that and the end result was hilarious - and also lots of things I could not understand back in the day because I didn’t speak any English, now I’d probably rewatch every episode a few times just to spot every pun and “Holy..., Batman!” phrase because they’re just so golden! :D

So yeah, that’s one of my favourite tv shows as a kid! :D

I’m tired, angry and bored so here we go! A messy list of fucked up Public School Things that may or may not be a universal experience:

The Lunches were a mix of good and horrible:

I was usually fine with the lunches because they were pretty decent and, like, yay food! But looking back they were just, so wrong????

Like in my middle school lunches AND breakfast were a mess. I got food poisoning like once or twice from the breakfast and the lunch was pitiful. At one point they just stopped cooking the pasta and left a bunch of uncooked, powdery noodles in a plastic box like anyone was gonna grab them and be like “mm yes! my favorite! hard noodles!”. Like what the actual fuck.

The pizza was also in a box, none of the toppings were labeled so it was a gamble on what type you would get, and most of the time they were burnt. In HS the pizza was fine but it tasted fake as hell and I’m pretty sure they just took some rubber and put cheese on it.  

My HS lunches were better but even then it was just, really concerning how limited and odd the food was. Luckily we didn’t have to pay except for like cookies and stuff smaller than your hand that costs like $2 cuz they want to “promote healthiness” despite feeding us what is basically prison food.

The class sizes were horrifying: I’m sorry but what person can teach 30+ rowdy kids and be perfectly fine??? Not to mention this was the norm the whole day! Imagine grading all those papers, keeping track of every student, and making sure they all shut up long enough to teach. And that’s just for the teachers who actually care.

Like a class size should be a max of 20 with a few exceptions. Do you know how stressful it is for everyone involved? Not to mention, 30 kids was considered SMALL!! Some classes had 40, even 50 STUDENTS!!!! WHAT THE FUCK.

We never had enough books, or supplies, or anything. Usually by the half point of the year, half the books would be missing or destroyed and it was a mess. In HS the Drama and Music teachers had to deal with like, one class of 10-20, and then like 5 classes of 40-50(all mixed grades too). And you know what’s even more fucked up? There was only one of each teacher.

There was one drama teacher. Who btw deserves the world and legit cares about her job and students. I honestly hope she quit and went somewhere better. She had to put up with 40+ screaming kids, grade all of those assignments, deal with insult and harassment(she was plus-sized and white. So she couldn’t talk back, would get insulted, and more.The only white people allowed to be sassy in that school were funny white men that were laid back), and had barely enough supplies to get by.

There was one music teacher. Who also deserves the world and legit cares about her job and students. She had to deal with 40-50, almost 60+, kids. The majority of them being sophomores and freshman, with bits of seniors and juniors. She taught music, taught band, and organized events and performances. She is, I believe, the first and only music teacher in that school and that’s just so fucked up. Like imagine being one person and having to manage hundreds of students like that.

There was only one digital arts teacher but I have no idea what they did since you can’t choose what class you attend. I just know it was constantly crowded, never really applauded, and they weren’t involved in a lot of things.

Oh yes how could I forget the art teacher! Yeah no there was no art class that involved drawing and painting. Apparently that class was scrapped years ago and has now turned into a JROTC locker! :D Speaking of JROTC:

JROTC and Sports had too much support and that’s a serious problem:

Hey maybe it’s because I’m an art kid and I hate exercising(because every attempt to do so was met with laughter, humiliation, and the ridicule of my body even though I can’t control how my body grows and changes), but man did JROTC and sports(specifically football) have way too much attention.

We had not one, not two, but FOUR ENTIRE JROTC CLASSES! Classes training you to be in the military, specifically Air Force. Classes you HAD to take unless you wanted to be in gym(never had the class but from what I’ve heard, there were about 50-70 kids, mostly male, filling up that class and they didn’t do anything but play ball or whatever. All of course, taught by one guy).

Somehow this program had enough support for uniforms, 4 different classrooms, supplies, several teachers(all of whom were in the military at one point[they were chill except for the freshman teacher who called you a whiny baby for being in pain]), and more. 

Not to mention, every so often military people would come by with pretty pamphlets and fun little strength tests and have kids to sign up to newsletters and shit and ask them to join the military when they graduate so they can get free college and happy fun times!! :D

Football was given way too much attention, even over the other sports, and I absolutely hate it. Every month was about  football, football, football. So much money went into football, so much support went into football. Yeah yeah yeah follow your dreams or whatever the fuck they tell you on Disney Channel, but there was too much support on this one sport that involved kids breaking their heads open. 

Please please give me ONE valid reason why this irritating-ass sport had so much attention while art students, craft students, theater students, music students, students who want to work in literally any other field that doesn’t involve science or sports had to fucking scrape every tiny little chance they could from the crumbs that were left behind. PLEASE tell me why I had to join a completely different program that was hella exclusive and restricted to Juniors and Seniors that had a certain skill-level just to have a proper arts class while football players got a cool fancy bus, a shit ton of gear, and praise every single day(seriously their pictures and trophies were everywhere). 

Why is it that they get scholarships and full rides for throwing a ball around and bashing their brains open while I had to fucking destroy my hand and scramble around for some shit like $200 which I wouldn’t even get because I don’t have the skill to paint the mona lisa or whatever. Anywayyyy~

Hey what the fuck was up with the rules? Sorry kids but if you’re reading this, everything they tell you on tv about high school is a lie. Unless you watched the Dora the Explorer movie, then that was actually pretty accurate.

Hey is it weird we had metal detectors and legit police officers(who were armed) in our school? Is it weird that we had to wear plastic, see-through book-bags, that weren’t even given to us for free and were so weak that they had to get rid of that rule because they would break after like 2 months? Is it weird we were all stuffed into a nasty, sticky, pest-ridden, staircase right in front of the main doors in the morning because we weren’t allowed all the way inside for whatever reason unless it was for a club(i.e. sports)? Is it weird that we were all trapped in the lunch room by security guards because they didn’t want kids roaming the halls even though they already did? Is it weird we weren’t allowed to go to the bathroom and were always told “you should’ve went your last class” when your last class didn’t let you? Is it weird we weren’t allowed to use the bathroom and were always told that “you should’ve went during the transition time” even though the transition time was only 4 minutes and the hallways were so crowded that it’d be time for class by the time you’d get there?

Is it weird that when we were allowed to use the bathroom, all of the bathrooms were locked and only one on the other side of the school was open, and the majority of the stalls were broken? And they kept the bathrooms locked, even after school, because they didn’t want kids skipping class even though they still did?

Is it weird that if you didn’t have a belt(if you were male), or a part of your uniform, you would be prevented from going to class if there were no more temporary uniforms?

Is it weird that if one kid did something bad, the entire class would be punished and class time would be wasted and the point of punishment would be lost because the teacher wanted a taste of power or whatever?(hey one time in 8th grade, both classes had to stand in one long ass line for about half an hour because someone was talking and it was treated like it was a joke. this took up our breakfast time too)

Other Shit: One time my HS got like $20,000 and instead of using it to fix at least one thing, they wasted it on useless flatscreen tv’s and SAT “tutors” that taught us 3rd grade english & math, how to annotate(I swear to fucking god one more person try and teach me how to underline a motherfucking sentence---) and did absolutely nothing to help us. Meanwhile the football players were living like kings.

We had a strange assortment of teachers, ya’ll know about my junior and senior english teacher. But did I ever tell you about the freshman JROTC instructor? She was so much fun~ I remember one time!!! ooh this is a good one :DDDD!!!! that I was in so muuuuuch pain that I was crying and couldn’t move! and guess what!!!!???? ooh! ooh! guess! She called me a whiny baby and said I was overreacting!!!! omg? She was so right tho, I was totally overreacting to being in immense, insufferable, pain that no one even attempted to be concerned about~~ 

Oh here’s another good one: I used to cry a lot! It was horribly embarrassing and not fun~ I was either sick, on my period(which according to the multiple doctors I had to be rushed to, was normal and the intense pain was hereditary), or having an emotional breakdown~ This lasted from 5th grade to Senior Year of HS! :D

One time I was in a lot of pain, 7th grade I believe, and cried for a whole hour straight. What did my teacher do? Have me sit in class while everyone went to like social studies or whatever, talked with some teachers, and then complained about how I “cried and cried and cried for an hour straight” with no concern whatsoever. BTW the nurse was never there and even then she was kinda useless.

Don’t even get me started on the several times I was on my period and was actually screaming in pain and was still looked down on because a student screaming and hollering in pain is no cause for concern obviously~ Really surprising how a lot of the male teachers and staff were more concerned then the female ones, especially the science teacher who has a uterus, has multiple daughters, and the audacity to say I’m ~overreacting~. I’m so happy our teachers and schools have our priorities in order.

More misc things: My HS had a shit ton of roaches, water bugs, and whatever those long disgusting things that walk around on the walls and fall off once you see them. Art meant nothing to them. Teacher sanity meant nothing, student sanity meant nothing. The principal was great and I blame whoever’s “funding” schools and working behind the scenes.  I know this was more about personal stuff, but like a lot of things like large classes, lack of supplies, lack of empathy from teachers, constant pests, horrible food, stupid rules that hurt us more than helped, really weird exposure to cops and military, and too much focus on one subject is super common in public schools and I really really want it to stop.

Who is your favorite character in 2?  JACK PEARSON.  Will I ever NOT adore Troubled Characters Who Love And Protect Their Families?!?!?!?!  (I also love Beth and Kevin...and most of the rest of the characters too.)

Who is your least favorite character in 1?  Yiğit, aka MARAL’S CRAZY FIANCE WHO RAN OVER HIS FIRST GIRLFRIEND AND PUT HER IN A COMA BUT CLAIMS SHE’S DEAD AND THEN KIDNAPS MARAL.  I have NO interest in Psycho Love Interests (I also hate the Tan storyline in Medcezir), endless love triangles are Getting Old, and to fit in the Yiğit storyline, Maral lost all the good sense and backbone she had in the first season.  Also, none of her friends seemed to notice her doubts about him, OR THAT HE STRAIGHT-UP LOOKED CRAZY AND DID SHADY THINGS.

What is your favorite episode of 4?  S3: E7, aka HARUN EMERGING FROM THE BOSPHORUS TO JUDGE MANKIND.

Besides the obvious merits of this absolute LookTM (most importantly: Alp now has a merman verse), I really wanted to like The Protector from the beginning, but I found the first few episodes really hard to get into.  But S3 was really good compared to 1 and 2 (possibly because our man Hakan actually started LEARNING FROM HIS EXPERIENCES?!?!), and I’m super curious about what happens now that we’re working with multiple time periods.

What is your favorite season of 5?  I’m still on S1, but according to Wikipedia Tan (the aforementioned psycho boyfriend) isn’t in S2, so I AM READY FOR THAT.  GO AWAY, TAN.

How long have you watched 1?  I started in February 2019 (and made Sarp’s blog while I was only about halfway through the 17 episodes, which meant I was EXTEMELY SHOCKED BY THE EVENTS OF S2) :’DDDD

How did you become interested in 3?  I think I started it because it had Aras Bulut İynemli, who I loved in Maral and Mahmut ile Meryem (and @angeliatheturkishdelight​ is to blame for introducing me to him, and to Turkish TV in general) :p

Who is your favorite actor in 4?  The Protector has pretty much Every Actor From Every Show (I’m still hoping for an ABI cameo in S4), so it’s hard to choose, but of course I love Çağatay, and Hazar Ergüçlü is PERFECT as Zeynep.

Which do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5?  This Is Us has much a much tighter storyline (it ties with İçerde for the best show I’ve ever seen in terms of writing and acting), but I have a soft spot for Maral because of Sarp’s relationship with his mom--at the time, I was only a few months into living across the country from my mom.  (Also, it got me into making chocolate, which is An Extremely Tasty Hobby!)  I just wish the S1 storylines and characterization had been continued into S2 instead of falling apart.

Which show have you seen more episodes of - 1 or 3?  I’m on E22 of İçerde, but there are 39 episodes total so I’m only about halfway through--I’ve seen all 17 episodes of Maral.

If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be?!  ZEYNEP.  She’s a historian, a fighter, full of SassTM, AND she has the best sense of style.  Please Observe:

Would a crossover between 3 and 4 work?  Listen, if Sarp can be an undercover cop infiltrating the mafia and Mert can be an undercover mafia man infiltrating the police, tracking down the Immortals should be no problem.  (Also, Burak and Mert as shady pals PLEASE.)

Pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple?  Sarp and Alara.  They seemed to get along when Alara wasn’t trying to come between Sarp and Maral (and when Sarp didn’t kiss Alara to deal with his Many Problems), so if the whole Love Triangle deal wasn’t there, they could work.  (Also?!?!?!  NILUFER AND HAKAN?!?!?!?  GIVE SARP A GOOD FATHER FIGURE!!!!!!!)

Overall, which show has the better storyline, 3 or 5?  İçerde.  Less “teen and class” drama and more “family and crime” drama.

Which has better theme music, 2 or 4?  I’m walking down the aisle to the This Is Us theme, so that answers that.  (...Just to clarify, I have no wedding plans OR a future husband yet, but I AM PREPARED WITH MY MUSIC) :’D

24: How do you feel about Cursed Child?

I have not read it and I refuse to.

Literally everything I’ve heard about it sounds bad. I mean Al going to Slytherin is conceptually cool (and foreshadowed in book canon anyway) but it all sounds So Dumb. And I’ve read a thing or two about the characterisation of Harry in it and No Thanks

Also Al/Scorpius should have been canon if you’re going to fuck around with that so much 

Okay but apart from opinions based only on second hand accounts: I think it’s a dick move to release a sequel to Harry Potter as an exclusive theater show. If she was super excited about theater specifically and it really had to be a format she doesn’t know how to write for that, she should at the very least have done her fans the consideration of releasing it on DVD. 

When you have the kind of fanbase her books does, it’s just such a dick move to make the sequel in a format that most people will never have the chance to really experience. Reading a script =/= seeing a show

25: How do you feel about Fantastic Beasts?

Apart from that, again, this is a format Rowling doesn’t know how to write for. And she has too much power to listen to an editor, apparently. The first movie was fine (though it dragged in places imo), but the second one was running 20 different plots simultaneously. It was so chaotic.

And she doesn’t know how to worldbuild for anywhere that isn’t Great Britain, but we knew that already 

Like I sold my soul for Dumbledore Content long ago so I have to watch them but I’m not happy about it

Also as someone who grew up as a canon stan, the inconsistencies bother the shit out of me. No, McGonagall wasn’t even at Hogwarts yet at this point in time. No, Dumbledore never taught DADA. No, gAY ICON ALBUS PERCIVAL WULFRIC BRIAN DUMBLEDORE NEVER WORE A BORING GREY MUGGLE SUIT. Etc, etc. 

Also like I know Warner Bros want to sell to China or whatever but if you don’t have the courage to use your immense amount of creative control to make the gay text instead of almost-but-not-quite-text-let’s-not-upset-the-chinese-censorship-office, don’t fucking write something where it’s a major plot point. For fuck’s sake, Jo, you’re supposed to be a Gryffindor, aren’t ya? 

Anyway I still want my “one book = one season” tv series adaptation of the books and also a Marauders show but honestly? She should have stuck to her old attitude that she didn’t want to mess with it anymore.

HA this one worked like a charm. ummm probably episode 7 bc that made me feel Things and i loved rewatching it as compared to the others. altho if we bring in every other movie in-between, it's obviously rogue one. BUT i DO have a special place in my heart for episode 1! i've been a star wars fan since i was a kid thanks to my dad but i was obsessed with episode 1, it really pushed all the right buttons for me. like i wouldn't call it a solid movie next to episode 7 but man is it a classic!

4. what’s your favorite season of 5?

i think i will love every season when they do come out but book-wise, i think you can't beat the level of wonder of northern lights/golden compass, depending on which edition your bookstores sold. my REAL absolute favorite tho has got to be once upon a time in the north bc the leads are basc my two favorite characters lmao

5. Who’s your favorite couple in 3?

OH MAN mia fey and godot! i'm such a trash for tragic relationships and i think they looked very handsome together!

cloud and aerith—my home ship since 20 years ago and the reason, i think, a lot of my ships tend to be on the tragic side >.>;; but i just love the tropes they're hitting, you know? and then how their colors and characters complement each other, i think they're a very attractive couple

7. Least favorite episode movie of 1?

movie bc it's easier than the comics lmao. but probably dr strange? icn say it's civil war bc it has spider-man, black panther and ant-man which for me are the only things really worth seeing in there but dr strange doesn't really even have that much of a hook for me to begin with. i wouldn't have gone and seen it if not bc of my team who wanted to see it for our team building excursion lol

i think i will forever be devoted to the classic polygon game, the one that started it all, y'know? but i'm really excited for the remake and i really enjoyed ff7ac/c! i also have not played the other games in the compilation bc money and time lmao (says the woman who just spent 12 hours on the game yesterday like some high schooler >.>;;; i just got aerith's great gospel and i already miss her ;_;)

we got a ds lite!! and then everyone kept raving about the phoenix wright game so my sister got it for us and then one day, i just decided to watch and help her play the third case and now, it's part of how we bond. we've always solved cases together ever since, they're much easier and less creepier that way

12. Favorite actor in 4?

oh wow, another lucky hit! ummm ewan mcgregor? i was a huge fan of his obi-wan kenobi like, icn remember calling other characters my favorite after his obi-wan anymore. so i'm really excited he's going to reprise the role, finally!!

13. Which do you prefer, 1, 2, or 5?

oh god, probably 2?? bc between the three of them, ff7 has had the biggest influence in my life. like seriously, the reason i'm in my job rn is bc of it—i went to college to take up computer science bc i wanted to make games like ff7 lmao but that didn't work out bc calculus is the worst. STILL it pushed me to the right direction of being in stem!

14. Which have you seen more episodes new releases of, 1 or 3?

i'm gonna have to say 1 for the obvious reason that they've released more movies than 3 has released games bc they're the products of an entertainment tycoon, you know? while with 3, there's still a part of it that still feels like a passion project and i haven't seen the anime yet lmao.

15. If you could be anyone from 4 who would you be?

i'd be a rebel. when i was a kid, i wanted to be a jedi, tho, lol

16. Would a crossover between 3 and 4 work?

ACE ATTORNEY IN SPACE. SPACE ATTORNEY AHAHAHAHAHA. i mean WHY NOT, you've got coruscant, you've got imperial sympathizers sowing discontent to lead to the first order (i think), you've got other separatists while we're at it, smuggling, bounty hunting, the fall of the jedi order. especially after rotj, i can imagine how active the courtrooms were with the war criminals and the petty ones taking advantage of the shift of government. the feys are obviously of the force, the von karmas could be a family linked to sympathizers, maybe nick is even attuned to the force which is why mia singled him out! it's easy to work out the whole thing ❤️

17. Pair two characters in 1 who would make an unlikely but strangely ok couple.

but marvel is already doing that job for me lmao. ummmm jane and roz solomon? but it's not unlikely bc they ARE friends and roz was the first person jane confided to about being thor. really icn think of anything off the top of my head, i'm not a shippy kind of person unless the canon lays it out before me and i get convinced. which, in itself, is rare.

18. Overall which show franchise has a better storyline, 1 or 3?

3, hands down. i'd much rather miss more movies of 1 than new releases of 3. it's in the quality of the storytelling, y'know? which isn't to say i loved all games lol i mean honestly, if you ask me? i'd tell you apollo justice is a huge au.

19. Which has better theme music, 2 or 4?

OH THIS IS A GOOD QUESTION. you're asking me who did it better, john williams or nobuo uematsu??? damn, they're both solid composers with amazingly timeless pieces but from my biased point of view, you can't beat nobuo uematsu. his work on final fantasy as compared to williams' work on star wars is more varied and he freaking makes MIDI sound like an orchestra!! and, he was the fucking soundtrack of my childhood. i was SO lucky to have been raised in a generation where he still did the music to all final fantasy games.

Oh boy, oh boy, episode 5! I can’t even pretend not to be excited, even as a joke. :D

1. I continue to love the fake-outs! they may wear out their welcome eventually but so far they're hilarious.

2. This episode made me fully realize just how much I love Mikami Satoshi as Doug. He not only has a great, expressive voice and style of acting, which does absolute wonders for a character as stoic and deadpan as Doug, but he adds an extra dimension of... idek, validity? is that the right word? to the character and the show.

That is to say, Double Decker models itself partly on live action (mainly US/English language) TV; and partly on its predecessor Tiger & Bunny, which modeled itself on American superhero/buddy cop stuff. Mikami's main profile is live action dubbing (and he’s the Japanese voice of Benedict Cumberbatch, hence the Sherlock references in Double Decker that even I recognize) and he absolutely brings that quality to Doug, which helps anchoring the whole show in a particular genre with a particular attitude. If that makes sense.

3. I also continue to fucking love the world design. It's familiar, retro-futuristic, hard-boiled American big city stuff, but subtly infused with surreal craziness, and it's awesome. Just looking at the backgrounds is fun!

4. I also love the dynamics between Doug & Kirill, and I don't mean how obviously shippable they are (that doesn't hurt though) but how well-written their interactions are, how well their dialogues work, how well the implications and callbacks work... Generally the writing in this show is superb, and Doug and Kirill are a great example of handling such a pair well.

5. Kirill is too genre savvy for his own good. :D

6. What's up with Kirill's watch, by the way? Is it just me or is it a bit too elaborate not to have some sort of plot importance eventually?

6. Just, the whole Bamboo Man action set piece from start to finish. Holy shit it was awesome. People are probably going to rag on it because "eww CG!" but as for me, I'm not bothered by that. I thought it was really damn good, you don't see this sort of thing often in anime, and even if overall it probably didn't flow as well as theoretically it could have (a bit more dynamism would have done the scene well), it was still impressive AS. FUCK. Damn.

7. Also... Bamboo Man is a NEXT, isn't he? If it's not the Anthem that gives him powers... also he seems to have a time limit... gee, where have I seen that before...

8. Finally we see Doug losing his cool and it's awesome. Kirill's reaction was great, too - and so very Kirill. "I'm gonna buy us time!" "You have a plan?" "Nope!" :D

9. The twist in the stinger, especially how the whole episode set it up, was so good. Sure, you could guess that something was up, and it was obvious that something was up by the end of the episode, but the stinger was just so well-done, from direction to music.

This show continues to be tons of fun, something to look forward to every week, which is crazy considering how little I expected of it before the first episode. 

Unfortunately it also continues to be ridiculously underrated... I understand it doesn’t fit any of the popular trends, but come on guys, it’s a great, fun show! You’re allowed to watch and be fan of more than one show per season!

Who do you think are the most overrated characters in ATLA?

What a controversial question xD Well, probably under the cut, for the best.

DISCLAIMER: if you adore any of the characters on this list, this is NOT an attempt to attack you or your peers, merely criticism on how the fandom behaves regarding certain characters.

Undeniably, the #1 overrated character is Iroh. A lot of people give him much more credit than he’s due, and he’s much more problematic than he seems on first sight. No doubt he has his fair share of good points, but he is far from perfect and he definitely isn’t the soul of the show for me, despite it seems he is for a lot of people. Proof of how overrated he is? His mere reappearance in LOK made people who had dropped the show return to it just because of him. Because SOMEHOW Iroh being there makes it all better.Truth is, no, it doesn’t make LOK all better. But how to argue with people who adore Iroh and refuse to see his faults?Iroh is not all wisdom, and he’s definitely not infallible. He’s also not the strongest firebender ever, sorry not sorry to burst that bubble but it’s a fact. Iroh was very questionable at many points in the show, and his relationship with his family is very complicated to say the least. Assuming he’s the only pure and good person in the Fire Nation Royal Family just because he was nice to Zuko is one of the fandom’s biggest mistakes and one of my biggest gripes with this character’s interpretations. Not because Bryke decided to sanctify him in LOK, and make him the franchise’s most enlightened character of all, does it mean he really was that perfect. A genuine analysis of who he is and what he did during ATLA can prove as much. So… Iroh is very overrated. Very. I’m certainly interested in hearing about his past, as any fan would be, but I do think there are far more important things the show and comics should deal with than expanding on Iroh’s life. People who would rather hear about his past than about the grown-up lives of the Gaang (… or about Azula’s uncertain future) really baffle me as Iroh’s endgame is clearly what the show gave us. Do we really need to know more about his past than we need to know about everyone else’s futures? I’d like to know more about his past, as I said, but it is far from a priority for me compared to every other main character on the show. 

Zuko would be my #2, of course, only because Iroh’s fans tend to be louder and more annoying when you get them going. But the constant praise to Zuko’s development, and ESPECIALLY the praise to his extremely flawed redemption that still leaves a ton of room for him to improve, and that also made him worse in many ways, makes me roll my eyes more often than not. That recent viral tweet about him getting the best redemption arc in the history of TV makes me wonder how much TV did that person watch at all. If Zuko’s the best redemption TV can do, I guess we’re really facing a terrible time for television shows.Mainly, Zuko is overrated because, just as Iroh, he’s credited for a ton of things that aren’t true. There’s a lot of problems with his character that go unaddressed, and a lot of people are happy to describe him with a lot of praising adjectives that I have no idea what relation they could possibly have with his character. Proof of the messed-up understanding fans have of Zuko can be found easily in fanfiction: have you ever wondered why Zuko’s characterization varies so drastically from fic to fic? Whether fics trying to portray him in a good light or in a bad one, more often than not it feels like people are portraying him as who they think he should be, and not who he really is. Having a grasp on his character is difficult, way more difficult than many people believe, but it’s on great measure because of how hard so many people have it to actually see his flaws for what they are.I am not saying loving Zuko is a terrible thing, it isn’t, but some people love and praise the idea of him, and not who he really is. Careful, less biased inspection of his character can reveal he leaves a lot to be desired for a man who changed his ways and became the ruler that would bring peace to a nation he hardly knows or understands. His character development is a rollercoaster, and that’s mainly because of how deeply flawed he is: but you ask the fandom and he’s a cinnamon roll who never did anything wrong, or at least, whose every misdeed can and should be blamed on everyone but him. Because he is perfect, and so is his character arc. So, overrated, or misunderstood character? Hell knows, but the fandom really has turned me off Zuko’s character altogether.

The third most overrated character would be Toph, who, for all her great traits, often gets praised as a fully rounded character when, uh… to put it bluntly, out of the five top-billed Gaang members, Toph is the one who evolved the least. Her growth was exclusively about developing more bending skills, about becoming a stronger fighter, but she has some serious personality flaws that are never explored the way they should be. She barely ever faces consequences for her wrongdoings, which are often framed as funny, and when she’s in the middle of serious conflicts, she is absolutely never in the wrong, just as it is with her every conflict with Katara. In the end… she barely grows in anything but power level. Yet you look around and find a ton of people praising her as the greatest character of the franchise. While I see the appeal, and in her case I like her a lot better as a character than either Iroh or Zuko, I also think she’s not given a chance by the story to actually grow, and that stunted her as a character. Which doesn’t seem to bother anyone because she’s praised for anything and everything to no end. I appreciate her comic relief moments, the message she gives in regards of disabilities, but the show could have made better use of her character and didn’t, and nobody really seems to notice or care.

This one’s going to get me stoned I’m sure (if the first ones didn’t already :’DDDD) but my #4 goes to Kyoshi. Yep. You read that right.Kyoshi is no doubt a hardass, I’ve seen a ton of people praising her as the greatest Avatar of all. There’s a million Chuck Norris-esque memes with her, presenting her as the most unstoppable force in the Avatarverse, and you see people everywhere dissing Avatars like Kuruk, for being so lazy, or Roku, for not being decisive, blah blah blah, and saying she’s awesome for being 100% the opposite of that.What these funny people fail to notice, or maybe they simply don’t know the Avatarverse’s timeline, is that Kyoshi allowed Chin the Conqueror to take over the entire Earth Kingdom and only made a move against him to save HER island. She didn’t act until then, allowing Chin to take over whatever the hell he wanted to take during his rebellion, which, as far as I know, was practically the entire continent, with only Kyoshi Island and Ba Sing Se as exceptions.And the whole thing to help the Earth King to deal with the Earth Kingdom’s problems, by creating the Dai Li for his protection? It happened AFTER Chin died, she didn’t even do this to save Ba Sing Se from him because this is posterior to Chin’s mad quest. She did NOT act to protect the Earth Kingdom from a raving, rising tyrant until it affected herdirectly, and didn’t involve herself with the politics of HER OWN NATION until after they had boiled over and the Earth King had a peasant revolt in his hands. If she couldn’t be bothered to move to save her own people until the last moment, what guarantees that she did anything to help anyone else? How is she that great an Avatar?Sure, people think that, since she actually got involved in worldly events no matter how late she did, she was better than Roku or Kuruk. But in Kuruk’s favor he apparently had no war to deal with, and his wife’s loss is an unexpected tragedy for him. Roku actually kept Sozin at bay for years, and Sozin only dared act openly with his conquest of the world once Roku was out of the way. Kyoshi had a major war brewing in her nation and her best idea to deal with it was to split off her island so she wouldn’t have anything more to do with it. Because a separatist mentality is the best way to handle your Avatar duties (the greatest illusion is the illusion of separation, anyone?). Seriously, if Chin had been standing just a bit futher back? If he hadn’t fallen to his death? He probably would have taken Ba Sing Se later anyways and Kyoshi would’ve been chilling in her village until she noticed that the Earth King was dead. Oops.Long story short, Kyoshi is considered way too great for the reality of her actions and decisions. The fandom’s concept on her duty as an Avatar is absurdly messed up, and as cool as her character design is, as great as her displays of power were, she was actually a pretty bad Avatar if you get objective about what she allowed Chin to do for so long. So in my very humble opinion, the fandom’s circlejerk around her is more than undeserved.

I was planning on making this a top 5, but tbh I don’t think anyone else gets acclaim to the extreme in the way these four do. Everyone else seems to have a more moderate fanbase, or at least enough detractors that the people who praise them don’t come off as loud and annoying as they do for these four. 

I’m not saying loving any of them is wrong, but there’s such abundance of praise for them, often for things they never even did, let alone for values they never represented, and yet they get interpreted by the fandom in whichever way the fans decide they like best. And somehow, the fanon interpretations grow more popular than what’s really there… which is truly annoying because these characters are fine the way the show actually portrayed them. They’re flawed, they make mistakes, their actions can be judged, they’re far from perfect: yet the fandom would have you believe otherwise.

The Rebelcaptain Food Travel AU round robin: GUIDELINES

As promised, these are the guidelines for the Rebelcaptain Food Travel AU 

Wait, what the heck is this?????  Check out this post here :) 

PLOT GUIDELINES - I’m going to outline some basic plot, but essentially there’s no limits here hahahahahhaha like you can write anything really! 

- Beginning: Cassian and Jyn meet for the first time in England, just before they are due to start filming. Like canon, they typically have chemistry and hit it off. 

- Middle: as the story progresses throughout their travels, they fall in love. Maybe it happens quickly, maybe it happens slowly, it will all depend on what we write! I’m kind of imagining that this is a fic with ultimate Mutual Pining but lets gooo with the floooow 

- End: the fic ends back in England when filming wraps. They have to say goodbye to each other and they are unreasonably Sad. 

- obviously, the local food of your location should be included somewhere, since it’s kind of the whole point of the fic! 

- since you’re writing about a country you feel experienced with, feel free to include lots of info/descriptions of your setting! 

- Cassian and Jyn are not food experts. You don’t have to be either. If you don’t know much about food, you can focus on the country/relationships/anything else really and of course vice versa :) 

- clearly this is a fic about their relationship and how they fall in love, so like, that should probs be included lol, We can include all the tropes! Maybe they get stuck in hostel accommodation at one point and have to share a bed? maybe their chemistry sizzles through the camera so much that their director decides to play it up for more views? the choices are endless! 

- another concept of this fic that Jaded and I once talked about is the idea that once it kicks off, about 3% of the show’s viewing audience are watching it for the food, another 7% are watching solely because they think Cassian is hot, and the remaining 90% are watching because they ship Cassian and the camera girl who comes on screen every now and then hahahahaha :DDDD 

- in terms of timeline, I’m completely open to setting this fic during literally any time of the year. If you have a request of when you’d like the story to take place, just let me know. 

GENERAL GUIDELINES  - there is no word count minimum or limit to your chapter 

- each installment should be episodic. To make it easier on the authors, each chapter can act as a kind of stand-alone oneshot. Think of it as a tv show with an overarching theme (food travel), yet each episode tells an individual story 

- your chapter doesn’t have to reference and relate back to things that have already happened in previous chapters, but can if you want it to! (I am personally a slut for continuity, but that’s just me hahahahaha) 

- all of this being said, please be aware and respectful of what has already been written. Technically these chapters will be all within the same universe and will be at the very least loosely connected in some way, so it would make sense not to completely contradict or retcon something that has already been written. :) 

- I’m figuring now that this entire thing is probably going to be more complicated than we originally thought hahahahahaha, but hopefully we can sort out any issues as they come up! 

- use whatever writing style works for you. I typically write in third person past tense and that’s how I’ll start the fic, but if you want to write yours differently, go for it 

- same goes for POV. Literally any POV you want! 

- no time limit/deadline. Basically, I’ll post the first chapter when/if this gathers enough interest. I’m a full-time worker and I know a lot of other people are too with busy lives, so I don’t want this to be stressful at all for you guys! 

- if you happen to find yourself up next and with absolutely no time/motivation/etc to write your chapter for whatever reason, it’s totally ok. We can skip you and move onto the next person. Since chapters are episodic, we should be able to come back to you if you want! (again, we’ll figure this out along the way) 

- if you saw this post late and we’ve already started writing, it’s also ok! Again, chapters should be basically just connected oneshots, so you should still be able to write a chapter that fits into the narrative somewhere. 

- to cohesively organise everything, I think I’m gonna have to finally learn how to make a sideblog lol. That will be the one collective place to put all the different installments of this fic on tumblr. 

- once the fic is completely finished, i’ll make sure it’s in chronological order and hopefully figure out a way to put it on AO3! 

- if you don’t want to write, but want to make art/graphics/anything else, by all means! You can do this whenever the urge strikes you :D

About Pokemon: I choose you! The Movie (non-spoilers version) *small edit: 18/Jul*

Salt or not, you should watch it - it is hard to criticize the experience only by reading spoiler notes/plot reviews. Go watch the movie without much expectations, even with some (big?) flaws it is quite an entertaining film. 

If you love Ash and Pikachu’s friendship, I’m pretty sure you will enjoy this - their relationship is indeed the big deal of the movie. Their voice actresses do an incredible job in this movie, it is worth to note how much their talent make a huge difference in the quality of the movie. The animation has some really pretty scenes and cool battles, I loved how expressive Ash and Pikachu were!

M20 is also a good treat for fans of the original series soundtrack, it has some nice rearranges of the old time classics! Plus so many references from previous movies!

Many people cried during many parts of the film, I noticed also some surprised gasps and bursts of laughter around/in front of my seat range too. I missed watching flawed Ash.... And, oh, he does answer what does a "Pokemon Master" mean this time lol.

On the other hand, the plot and the pacing… are a big mess. Too much info, not enough time to develop each thread, then it ends in a very rushed way. No wonder why I ended up with so many mixed feelings about the whole thing, hahaha, I personally wouldn’t rank it as my favorite pokemon movie but… I don’t think it is also as awful as some people have claimed xD

It is indeed a very strange experience, for instance… New characters are not bad, they have some background and personality - I’d say they are fitting and likeable but also kinda of pointless at the same time? Or, another example, emotional scenes are intense but they are also solved so quickly that is barely no time to let the info sink lol. IMO this film was better than the last recent movies, it’s like “well, M20 was really nice, I’m not mad but it had potential to be much better - but still, it was very fun, go watch it”? Please try watching it!

So many people in the movie theater - both kids and adults… also, so many 3ds devices lol (Marshadow is a gift through local wireless network. They included a short announcement at the start/end of the movie by Shokotan-Joy reminding us of that!). I’m happy that I got Marshadow and also a Ga-ole card with Movie!Hat Pikachu - it can be converted to Pokemon USUM in the future…

I’m still unsure which Hat-chu should I redeem with my ticket code. Maybe AG one?

I don’t think Pikachu’s speaking scene was as bad as some people said… I thought that was very emotional and meaningful? It is very ambiguous scene, I saw that moment as Ash understanding Pikachu’s pokemon words with full clarity, he was so weak (c'mon boy was exhausted lol) and I don’t think Pikachu literally spoke in human language… The atmosphere kinda implies it is something only Ash could understand that instant, like the blurred and muffled sounds.

I really like Ash and Pikachu and I guess anyone who has/had a partner like that might get emotional over that. Ugh, maybe it’s Ootani’s acting… idk, either way that crushed my heart really badly. I surprisingly got much more emotional about it than I thought I would, even after being bombed with pre-screening spoilers.

^few minutes before I was honestly wanting to laugh/cringe at MARSHADOW WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING and the UGH incineroar’s PELVIC BELT FIRE ATTACKS WHY DID YOU REMIND US OF THAT DETAIL FROM THE GAMES DDDD: 

Convoluted plot much? Yamachan is a nice Marshadow! But… Kinda too bad the Pokemon itself in the story is really confusing. Pacing is also weird, felt like the plot is too long and suddenly close to the end they had to wrap it up in a rush? I thought it was nice in a way that you don’t get bored because things go nonstop, however it would definitely work better as a short TV series than a single movie.

They must really like those guest celebrities to create the two new rushed Please!DPPremake!characters. I do think the movie would work better with Ash and Pikachu traveling alone - for example, Bonji could easily sometimes fill the gaps the role of the two companions are meant to be… I mean, Souji and Makoto are nice, but still… Ugh, it does feels a bit like they were forced to be there.

I hope you like Entei better than Suicune and Raikou lol. It’s like… The first one is a badass and the other two are simply… there. Suicune only appears to Makoto and they exchange glances... and that's all.

Team Rocket’s cameos are very short but cute. I liked the best the one at the beginning, at the Pokemon Center, when Joy goes"omg those guys!!!“ and instead of attacking the place, TRio just leave excited like the other kids "yaaaaay Entei!!!” XD

I apparently wasn’t the only one who was confused about Marshadow’s intentions in that movie. Judging by the viewers’ reactions, I noticed a lot of people were confused about it… Even understanding Japanese language didn’t help much tbh.

Going back to Ho-Oh and Marshadow, I didn’t get it at first, but… 

…Well, Ash got one of Ho-Oh’s feather and it kept shining with bright colors because he has a good heart - if the feather gets dark, according to the legend, it is thanks to humans being evil, which results in things going really bad, right?

Marshadow knows that black feather = not good - that’s why when Ash is blinded by frustration and the feather gets darker, he creates that dream world where Ash realizes how important Pikachu was for him and tries to find his partner even though he can’t remember him in that illusion world. It takes a while to Ash realize he was being reckless and stupid, but after he remembers and understand he was being stupid, he quickly wakes up and apologize to Pikachu with real regret, and the feather goes colorful again, right?

The second time the feather goes dark is when Cross snatch it from Ash’s hand and later on, Marshadow takes it and start destroying everything around it. Bonji tells Ash he should get his feather back asap or else Marshadow will never stop unleashing its power, right….

1) so you could say Marshadow is like a guardian that creates a trial for those who bear the rainbow feather, ensuring pokemon are safe from evil people/good people can meet Ho-Oh (does it mean when Ash “dies”, he actually goes under Marshadow’s trial and he quickly returns to the real world due to his bond to Pikachu?)

2) Marshadow actually a sneaky little chaotic pokemon that is very aware that when the feather gets dark, it is its opportunity to snatch it and unleash its power. That explains why dark feather = bad stuff happens and why Marshadow stop hitting the humans and fades away after the dark feather in its hands disappears and reappears as a colored feather in Ash’s hand)

So… Which one is the actual thing, 1 or 2?

I’m not planning to watch it a second time soon, but let’s see if someone else does it and help us figuring out the plot lol. It’s probably easier to understand it after a second view (I mean, I HOPE SO lol).

About specific stuff I was asked on Tumblr, in no particular order:

Oh, the credits with old characters was not a full screen part… Only a small portion of the screen. They all begin as shadowed figures that look at the camera, reveling their full bodies. The background is the same for all characters.

Misty was riding her bike! May tied her bandanna! Clemont’s glasses were shining! Serena kept her old looks, everybody had their original clothes and style… TRACEY! o/

Max appeared together with May and Bonnie appeared together with Clemont.

I was very intrigued that only (cute upside down) Iris and Serena were smiling in their respective scenes… Everybody else looked slightly surprised/confused somewhat? So odd. :/

While Makoto is checking out her “smartphone”, after some pictures of her friends (we can see that Souji is the one who cooks for the trio) and their pokemon we can see her mother’s picture (+Piplup and Empoleon). Yeah, possibly Cynthia - she’s missing the trademark hairclips and the hair color is slightly darker… but that long peculiar hair is quite similar to that character… Plus Makoto herself hints "my hometown (Twinleaf - Sinnoh) has a very famous trainer..."

The teacher inside the classroom of IRL Ash was Agatha, wasn’t it?

Professor Oak has a Squirtbottle.

Souji is seen spotting an Articuno at the end of the movie. Meanwhile, Makoto explains she will go back home to see her mother.

Ah, close to the end I remember seeing the Alolan starters animated - sorry, I don't remember when exactly but it was before the credits, when Ash and Pikachu already said goodbye to Souji and Makoto.

The Lapras is not Ash's, it's Makoto's. She kisses the pokeball before throwing it...

Pikachu's spoken lines: "ずっと一緒にいたいから" (zutto issho ni itai kara): Because I wants to be with you, always.

Oh, Ash does define what does it mean to him to be a pokemon master: to become a friend of all pokemon in the world!

Kpop Opinions

Ok. Unpopular Kpop opinions used to be a thing and I know nobody does it anymore but you know fuck it. These are my opinions so please do not get offended. 

BLACKPINK 

I’m addressing all the issues I personally am having with the group. NO HATE TO BLACKPINK I LOVE THEM

 1. Blackpink are talented girls but damn they need to leave YG. We all know YG is a shit company and I honestly do not know why people go for the company. 

2. From what I have noticed, the Kill This Love mini Album has the most distributed lines excluding Hope Not, as the Rose has a crap ton more lines than the others. In the past with their songs, I personally think Jisoo got the least amount of lines even though she is a LEAD VOCALIST. (also speaking of Kill This Love mini Album, what the fuck was that DDDD remix???? It was so bad) 

3. I feel like Jennie should have more rap verses in their songs instead of as much singing as she does. When I look at Jennie, I do not see a singer. I see a baddest rapper and I feel like YG is missing out by making her sing and not rap as much. 

4. GIVE THEM A FULL ALBUM. enough said. 

5. I want the girls to write and compose their own songs for an album. I believe that these girls could do so much when making their own music plus it would be nice seeing something a little different other than what the YG Producers give them. 

6. I just feel a little disappointed that Teddy decided to put all those songs in one album, I feel like they don’t go together in one album because Kill This Love being this in your face baboom song then having these minimal songs doesn’t make sense to me. (I hope minimal songs makes sense).I personally feel like Teddy and the other producers really didn’t give a full 10/10 attitude and work into these songs like don’t get me wrong they are good but I feel like mainly Kill This Love could have been done better and not a DDDD part 2. Teddy has mad very good songs in the past and i honestly don’t know what went wrong with that song specifically. 

7. The girls should not be the ones that get bashed for what outfits they are wearing. I see a lot of people going at them for what they are wearing on stages and i believe that the stylists are the ones that should be “Bashed” not in a mean way but in a “who said this was ok” way. I think that most idols do not have a say in what they wear on stage and the stylists just do what the company tells them and the people in the company should know whats right and whats wrong when styling their idols. I also think the Stylists should know better when dressing the female idols because I’ve seen idols VERY uncomfortable in what they are wearing and they should fix that. Being uncomfortable in something and having to dance and all that on stage wouldn’t be very nice. 

8. Jennie being lazy. I do believe that she was in fact being lazy with the group performances and she was only putting her energy into her solo performance. It was very obvious she wasn’t really having fun with the group like the others were and she sorted of just wanted to get it over and done with so that she could perform her song. I could easily tell that in the same concert that she did put all of her energy into her solo and not the other songs and I feel like that was really wrong of her. 

9. The other girls solo’s should be as hyped as Jennie’s and I feel like they won’t be. I just have this feeling that Jennie’s was very hyped and the other girls will not get the same. I am very excited for the other girls solo’s and I hope they can show us all their true potential and show us a different side of them. 

SM Entertainment 

1. SM Entertainment needs to get their shit together. The fact that they are making another SNSD and another NCT is absolute wrong to me. Why are they not taking care of the groups they already have.  

2. RBB by Red Velvet was placed at the wrong time tbh it didn’t feel like it was supposed to come out then and SM just sorted of panicked and pushed it out. Still a bop though. 

3. NCT DESERVES ALL THE LOVE IN THE WORLD THOSE BOYS A SUPER TALENTED AND PEOPLE DON’T WANNA BOTHER WITH THEM BECAUSE OF TO MANY MEMBERS BUT THEY ARE THE MOST FUNNIEST AND WEIRDEST GROUP YOU WILL EVER MEET AND YOU WILL NOT REGRET STANNING THEM PLUS THEY ONLY PRODUCE BOPS STAN ALL UNITS THOTS

lol I’m going to get attacked for this

1. BTS no longer make good songs. THERE I SAID IT. Their music has gone to absolute crap and whenever I hear their songs from the DNA on wards like those new albums, they are just boring and I could never listen to them fully because of that. Their old songs and BST, Spring Day and Not Today are the good stages of the group. 

2. After receiving the popularity they deserved from BST, I feel like people are just hyping them up for no reason. Like good on them for getting the fame they want but it has become to much. 

3. The goddamn fandom. I used to be an Army but after their popularity sky rocketed, I feel like that’s where most of the hateful fans started coming in and I left the fandom for that reason and because their music is no longer good. I know that there are good army’s out there but they are always hidden because most people see army’s has toxic human beings who protect their OpPaRs and take everything way to far. 

4. I feel like they should have never gone to Billboard because their are shows for Kpop groups already. Billboard is for Western music artists and I feel like kpop groups shouldn’t go to those award shows including the one’s who are now nominated for awards. 

5. Western TV shows are using them. Since the group is popular and fans are most likely going to watch everything they do, I feel like the TV shows have realized that they would get better views because of the boys. 

6. Hoseok and Yoongi are the only talented members of BTS. I just do not see the appeal of the other’s and I quite frankly do not believe they are as talented as Hoseok and Yoongi. 

Momoland 

1. I do not see why Momoland get so much hate tbh. Those girls are talented and they get shit for literally breathing (like every other female idol). If someone can explain why they get so much hate please do because I do not see the reason. 

2. I do know the girls get shit for their songs sounding the same and that they are copying other groups and i think we shouldn’t be hating the girls, we should be hating the producers who CREATE the songs for the group. I can see since Bboom Bboom got so much love hwo they would want to recreate that sound but the other songs after that are not remakes of the song and I feel like people just think that. Blame the producers of the songs, not the girls.

 “Archaic? A bow and arrow are one of the best instruments to use in battle. And I wouldn’t call anything about me archaic, Mr. I’ve-only-dated-seventeen-thousand-people.”

 “Hey, a warlock can get lonely when it’s just him and his magic. Though I do know ways to keep myself busy…”

 “Stop right there.”

 “It just means I’m more experienced. You are in good hands Alec.”

 Alec shifts on the couch, closer to Magnus. Slowly, Magnus stretches an arm around the back of the couch, fingers loosely touching Alec’s shoulder. Magnus sends Alec a sly smile.

 “Okay, we’ll watch Harry Potter.”

 “I guarantee you’ll like it.”

 “When have you had time to watch it? You seem like a pretty busy shadow hunter, with the Institute and all.”

 “The Institute was my life before…now it’s different.” Alec sighs, leans a little into Magnus’ touch. “I have time for other things in my life.”

 “I hope I fall under the category of other things….”

 “Shut up and watch the movie.”

 Later….

 Harry Potter has just gazed into the mirror of Erised, and is staring at James and Lily. Alec hears a small sniff from beside him on the couch. He lifts his head, which had been resting on Magnus’ shoulder—he doesn’t remember when it got there—and looks up. Magnus has a tear running down his face. Alec grins.

 “Are you crying at a children’s movie?”

 “Oh, shut up,” Magnus says, wiping his tear away with his ring finger. “It’s much more than a children’s movie. It’s about family, loss, love…” Magnus catches Alec’s eye and smiles.

 “I’m glad we can agree on something.” Alec sighs and stretches. “Want popcorn?”

 Magnus nods, tears still flashing in the glow of the TV screen. “Extra butter. Extra salt.”

 “Just the way I like it…tasty,” Alec says with a wink. He moves to the kitchen and out of sight. When he comes back, Magnus has a blanket draped over his legs. Alec moves in close, hands the bowl of popcorn to Magnus and settles in beside Magnus, shoulders pressing together.

 Magnus pops a few in his mouth, crunching and starts to movie again, and goes to lay his head on Alec’s shoulder. Alec in turn presses his chin into the top of Magnus’ hair and closes his eyes. Magnus smells like burnt matches, wisps of smoke and butter. He presses his face in and keeps it there, close.

 “Some things are pure magic,” Magnus murmurs into Alec’s chest. He turns his head and gazes up at Alec, locking eyes. A snap in the air, a moment surged with tension. Then Alec is kissing Magnus on the mouth, hard, lips locked in a dance. Alec pulls away.

 “Some things are better than pure magic.”
