hello i'm asking another question

what do you think the main cast's mbti are? i don't really agree with personality database's assigned mbti, like I don't think Lenore is an ISFP, and I think Eulalie is rather extroverted to be an infp 😔

oh i’m so ass at these. Tbh the only way Id be able to confidently answer is if i took the quiz as all of them, and i’m not doing that because not only would that take ages, but it would be a pain in the ass to read for you too LOL

so let’s discuss each letter and maybe think about who fits where!

Extroversion (E) vs Introversion (I) So my definition of this is how you get your energy. Do you thrive more doing solitary activities, or do you recharge by being with people? I can see Eulalie being both, or an ambivert. She likes social gatherings/spending time with friends, but doesn't mind doing things on her own either. People like Duke thrive off other people, getting their energy from social interaction. Montresor may be a very "social", outward person, but definitely prefers leisure time on his own with nobody bothering him. So using these as examples, I'd do this: E - Duke, Berenice, Morella, Eulalie, Lenore, Ada I - Pluto, Prospero, Annabel, Montresor, Eulalie again Will is a wild card because I think he craves social interaction, but it doesn't really "energize" him. And being alone means being alone with his thoughts/feelings that he can't understand. Next: Sensing (S) vs Intuition (N)

So I’m using the MBTI website for reference here. “S is for the Sensing preference. People who have the letter S in your MBTI type tend to process things in a step-by-step linear sequence and observe and remember specific information. They also tend to focus on the facts and what can be observed via their five senses.”

“N is for the Intuition (because we already used the letter I for Introversion) and people who have a preference for Intuition generally learn by seeing the big picture and themes, and thinking about how specific information is connected.”

Using these definitions, here’s the people I think might fit with each.

Not to say that these people are incapable of intuition, it’s just how I categorize them based on how I think they naturally…well, think. Of course, everyone’s capable of doing the opposite one that I put them in. It’s not so black and white.

S - Berenice, Lenore, Eulalie, Prospero, Morella, Ada, Duke

N - Annabel, Pluto, Will, Montresor

Berenice and Lenore are more straightforward. I think they’re very similar in terms of how they carry themselves. They want to rely on their bodies and senses to perceive information. What they see, hear, taste, etc. Eulalie is the type to observe things in order and pick out specific things to focus on. Prospero is the same. Morella also likes to use her own senses to perceive, wanting to be able to connect to whatever it is using her own body. Ada does something similar to Morella, aching to connect with whatever she is perceiving and therefore by using her own senses, feels smarter. And Duke, as a performer, uses all of his senses ALL THE TIME. When on stage, he has to be aware of every single thing to avoid a mistake. The big picture is the show- he cannot afford to hyper focus on one little thing, because everything else will suffer in quality.

Annabel I put in N because she tends to overanalyze- she will look at EVERYTHING to come to a proper conclusion. Will because he has to look at every single factor in terms of studying others- he has to maneuver very carefully in general to avoid being tossed aside. Pluto is vibes tbh. Montresor I put because he’s chaos. He isn’t gonna look at something in a linear way and come to a conclusion based on facts. He’s going to jump around and pick out what interests him.

Next: Thinking (T) vs Feeling (F)

Pretty self explanatory. Decisions based on logic vs feelings.

T - Prospero, Annabel, Eulalie, Will, Duke

F - Lenore, Berenice, Pluto, Morella, Montresor, Ada

Prospero and Annabel are self explanatory. Eulalie because I think she is more of a blunt thinker. Like she’s more inclined to say something because it’s true, not because of a feeling. Will is an over thinker; his feelings don’t matter. And I think Duke is honestly a mix of both but I put him in Thinking because of his tendency to want to be perceived as someone who isn’t bothered/consistently charismatic. So he might disregard his own feelings to make a decision.

Honestly I think everyone else is self explanatory. Montresor in Feeling because he makes his decisions based on what HE wants.

And lastly, Judging (J) vs Perceiving (P)

Using the website definitions again. Judging = people who have preferences for plans, lists, structure.

Perceiving = They crave flexibility, more open minded to spontaneous decisions, make sudden decisions, more likely to do things last minute.

J - Annabel, Prospero, Pluto, Morella (but wants to be P), Will

P - Lenore, Eulalie, Berenice, Duke, Montresor, Ada

Now a lot of these are self explanatory again but I’ll explain Will’s. I think having a strict plan/everything set out in front of him puts him at ease because he knows he’s prone to messing up.

So mix and match these and I guess you get what I’d think their types are? Maybe!! This was honestly so fun so thank you!!

In advance of the nominations closing in about 48 hours and needing to get the flag information together for the tournament, I'm going through the entries more in depth, checking for inconsistencies and such. I may run into information that I'm unsure on how to proceed on and will ask for clarifying information on this post here.

In the event the person who submitted it sees one of these asks, please reach out so we can figure out what the best information is to proceed! Otherwise I will try to correct the information to be as close to what I can confirm is accurate and as similar to the submitted information as possible.

I recognize that some of these were submitted over 6 months ago, so the chances of everyone seeing everything is a little low, but I'd like to do right by your submission!

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia - I can't figure out where the light blue flag comes from. Though it's the one given on the city's page on Wikipedia, digging through the city's website (though the images only go back a few years), I'm only able to find images of the dark blue version with gold outlines on a white figure in use. (You can see it in the background here.) I've been trying to determine if the submitted version is an official version or historical version of the flag so I know what to put it down as, but I haven't had any luck. Even the FOTW version appears to potentially be an interpretation of a written description (though it does note that a dark blue variant with colors on the garuda appears on government websites in 2008). (As a note, the Mongolian description of the flag FOTW refers to uses the word "хөх" which, according to Wiktionary, is exclusively for dark blue.) I'm...not sure how to proceed with this. I guess the options are 1) use the dark blue/gold/white one (current official flag) 2) use the dark blue colored flag (variant of the current flag) 3) use the light blue flag (variant but of ambiguous legitimacy).

RESOLVED

Brocēni, Latvia - The submitted flag does not seem to match what Wikipedia claims is the current version of the flag. This was changed on Wikipedia back on 30 July 2023. The white version of the flag was not explained nor can I find any information myself. If you happen to know if it was an old version of the flag or if you'd prefer for me to use the current flag please let me know!

Tifariti, Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic - It seems like this is not an official flag, and one of (many, unfortunately) proposed flags made and uploaded by Wikipedia users without being associated with the region or labeled as such. At least, I have not seen any evidence to prove that it's real... If the person who submitted it happens to know more than this, please let me know! [For reference, the flag was crossposted to Reddit before it was deleted.] (If evidence is not provided I'll have to remove it, which is a pity 😔)

San Francisco, Antioquia, Colombia - The Wikipedia upload was provided for this flag. The comical bird faces prompted me to dig a little deeper, especially because FOTW provided a different design. While the official San Francisco govt website does use the Wikipedia image here, it does seem in practice that they use the design FOTW provides, evidenced here and here and here. To the submitter, if you see this -- would you be okay with me switching to the actual proper design? I'll vectorize it myself so the quality isn't poor. That being said, there is a somewhat silly but technically defensible argument that the presence of the wiki version on the govt website is enough to justify using that version, so while it's not my personal preference, it is up to you. (If an opinion is not provided, I will switch to the more official version.)

Santa Cruz, California, USA - I'm not sure if this is notification or a request for response, but Wikipedia is not very clear on the usage of the Santa Cruz [County] flag. FOTW confirms that it's for the county only and not the city, and provides this page for the city itself. (For me, images on the page won't load, but they linked the image of the new 2020 flag on the city's website.) I can't find evidence for historical use of the county flag for the city, otherwise I would simply just include it as a past flag... Unfortunately I think Santa Cruz County itself is a bit too large to qualify for this. My current plan is to omit it. Please let me know if you'd like me to do anything else!

Like as the battle rival I'm sure the canon story is goi going to make her the most important and your rival and so on, but unless something changes Spare will not give a shot about you. Like I'm imagining a scene where Spare calls Nemona out on trying to be her rival. "You aren't my rival. A rival implies someone who can challenge you or is on a comparable level. You would have to actually pose some sort of challenge before you can make a claim like that."

BLCD Review: LOVE HOLE 101 Goushitsu ~ Teppen ↑ Koechatte ~

Review Proper

I knew this was gon’ be lit! Yo, I just have a sense for this, I tell you. This is actually as generic as a plot can be, but the execution was everything. There are some stuff in the plot that I find quite unique and endearing, like how they went about the rabuho so nonchalantly and how excited they were to explore the place, especially Nao. 😂 “Oh, what could this compartment under the bed be?”, “Dang, there was a classroom-themed room?!” I honestly don’t know how it managed to be such a cute, funny, sexy, and painful story considering how short it was. Props to Yazirushi for this! They also have a bomb-ass website and illustrations. No expense was spared for the production of the RabuHo series and I’m here for it! I also love the concept of the boys having their own special respective rooms and the boys are all actually acquainted together! It’s a bit similar to Kimi to Boku to Sekai no Hotori, but the seiyuus sadly don’t cross over. That’s fine, though. 👍

Moving on to the voice work,

Hello, hello, bb Okitsu. 👋 It’s been a while since Theo. I can’t believe I’m going to run out of Okitsu once I clear Koi ga Ochitara (this is why it’s going to be last). 😩 I’ve seen some of the works he has that’s to be released this year and so far, I’m not interested in many of them. 😔 Anyway, it’s obvious even without me telling y’all that Okitsu did phenomenal here. I initially thought that he’d be using his Shiina voice, but he went somewhere in between Marlene and Shiina in the end. I LIVE FOR IT OH MY GOD!!! Lord, how’d Nakajima Yoshiki even survive that??? I would’ve rethought my sexual orientation after facing that! 

As for Nakajima Yoshiki who I just heard in Itoshi no XL Saizu as Anaconbayashi-kun, I actually forgot what he sounded like there. 😂 Yo, I mean it when I say that he struggled ‘cause I usually forget the voices of those who struggle (except for Furukawa Makoto HAHAHAHA HE HAS FOUND HIS WAY INTO ANOTHER REVIEW). He did considerably better here, though, since this is an uke role, which is really his forte, but I did hear him struggle a little some times. I think he went a little higher here than his Akira-san in Akai Ito, so maybe that’s why. His natural pitch is much deeper after all. His Akira-san is still his best performance to date imo. There are some instances where it felt like he was going to be swallowed up by Okitsu’s acting, especially in the mattress mambos, but he still did a good job overall.

In conclusion, we have a beautifully executed plot, great pacing despite the length, and great voice work and chemistry—the mattress mambos were 🔥. I definitely definitely recommend listening to this, especially if you want something light, but can also prickle your kokoro. It has been a long time since I’ve listened to a stand alone BLCD, and I’m glad that it didn’t disappoint. Stay tuned to the next review to find out which of the two CDs were my favorite of this series!
