On the topic of jb and catholicism I am nearly certain Brienne is walking on water in Jaime's weirwood dream.

Beneath her feet, a reflection of the burning blade shone on the surface of the flat black water.

The phrasing makes it clear the water's surface is below her feet and I'm not convinced she was standing on a bank just shy of the water. In addition to this quote seeming very direct about it, Jaime observes that every step she takes makes a little splash, so she's not on land. Jaime mentions that his feet are wet. The miracle of Jesus walking on water was to do with his faith in God... his disciples could do it too when they had faith, but when they began to doubt they sank. Pretty blatant imagery with Brienne's belief in knighthood and Jaime having lost his way.
