What is wrong with these hateful ugly people? Even if this ship isn’t what you want, it’s TV. Lou, on the other hand, is an actual person. A hardworking artist who is bringing his whole heart to representing the character he plays with nuance and depth, playfulness and joy. The vitriol your group spewed out on him personally, not even criticizing the show but the PERSON, speaks volumes about you, not him. I am grateful for Lou, I think he’s adorable and I think Tim and ABC’s 911 got the bargain of the century when Lou agreed to join the show. #WeLoveLou

i know these two scenes are meant to be taken kind of light-heartedly, but i really can't stop thinking about the heel-turn change in the way evan and jammer are treated by the staff of st. dotto's. and how that mirrors the real-life subjugation people face for questioning the norms of society. ESPECIALLY in medical/psychiatric environments.

the pilot program are initially treated as honored guests by the staff of st. dottos, but this treatment is contingent on their conformity. the minute evan and jammer openly question the norms of the hospital, they are labeled by the staff as threats who deserve to suffer institutional violence. evan must be crazy and psychotic. jammer must be angry and violent. both for nothing more than CORRECTLY identifying the fucked-up nature of the system. and to me i see a clear parallel to what people who experience psychosis and/or are Black often face in the real world the moment they refuse to conform.

like. you have questioned the status quo and that deems you unfit to be part of our society. we will subjugate you to violence because it's what you deserve and because other people need to be kept safe from you. we're not a danger to you. you're a danger to us. it's all too fucking real!!!

Lou definitely got me in the divorce…

i never thought that after watching the show since season 3 lou would be getting me in the divorce, but he definitely is.

tim and oliver showed me that they never really care about making bisexuality representation justice because if they did, that breakup and that oliver interview would not have been handled that way.

meanwhile, lou is giving interviews clearly heartbroken and blindsided, but still being so sweet about the whole thing. even when he's talking about receiving death treats, he's still so grateful for the opportunity.

he deserved better, we deserved better, and the queer community specifically deserved better than that biphobic shit show that aired last night.
