Particularly when they pray as you hop onto the artifacts menu to raise em, whether is for for them, another character to which some might try to purposely mess the rolls up bc oops! looks like they can't use that now! :) guess they'll have to wait., or just to make space for more bc HOW IS YOUR ARTIFACT STORAGE FULL ARE YOU OKAY??? Whenever you raise their artifacts they kinda feel bad if it rolled into the wrong subs when you raise it with them and would either apologize or say that it'll roll better on the next one, they know it will!! (it did not 😔)

That or they don't bc they felt silly and wanted to spite you so guess you gotta do a few more runs to try again teehee 😗👉👈 they eventually roll a ridiculously amazing artifact at some point, but just this once!

(or y'know the opposite where there's always this one character you always use to raise artifacts bc they always get the best rolls and best subs? yeah imagine them celebrating w you at how good the stats rolled too!!)

Kinda like how if you try to make gear in tkrb there's a chance of it shattering (therefore failing) instead of being able to create one and when that happens the character you brought with you for those will say things like "oh no, it broke! i'm so sorry :(" or "i-it's okay!! let's try again...!" or you just flat out hear sobbing noises bc your new feather low rolled all 5 into defense FLAT 😭 BASICALLY THAT YEAH

Mentioned posting a WIP so here we go! It’s a Six at the Sierra Madre piece

First was this concept sketch I doodled in MSPaint when I should’ve been doing lab work lmao. I listened to Begin Again for the first time and it gave me the visual of Six kneeling at the central fountain in the Villa, resting his head against the fountain head as he listened to the old hologram of Vera singing. Drew this so I wouldn’t forget.

I took the initial MSPaint sketch and moved it onto a layer in Procreate. I sketched this out to play with the perspective, landing on wanting something birds-eye-esque. I didn’t get the perspective quite right wrt Six’s placement on the fountain, but I did note that I wanted him to be hugging the edge of the fountain, even if that didn’t correlate to its canon size, because I wanted the imagery of being held in a cradle.

I went and found a few free pose websites and played around with the base dolls until I got something that fit the perspective and the body wasn’t clipping at weird points. Did a trace over of Six and it all looked good, resketched the fountain, felt good about it, but felt like I could add more.

So I added in these two panels, thinking of the last two notes in the song. There’s a finality to it that I like that I wanted to mimic.

And that’s it! Just gotta actually take the sketch and make the piece over it. I wish I still had a working tablet, I can only do so much on my phone with my fat fucking fingers & Procreate 😭

4. Mint Chip- What's something that you disagree with your f/o on?

I can't actually think of much that we'd disagree on? At least nothing serious, or disagreements that span further then temporary "no, it's your turn to do the dishes today!"

Not to say we're the paragon of agreements and coming to compromises, but I feel as if we're genuinely on the same wave length on most things while disagreements are usually fairly minor and inconsequential in nature.

Having said that, though, I feel like a note of contention ("contention" because it's not, like... major? But it is. But it isn't) would be me and my major insecurities and Denji just ... not understanding it. Less of a disagreement and more him just going "wtf are you talking about?? You're fine" and then me going ".... okay but at the same time—"
