Before they were being hunted down on the mountain, Bud and the mercenaries along with the elves were investigating the place.

Then Bud noticed they walked straight into an illusion. Weapons out as fast as they could, he also tried to contact others and to call Cale.

Next we hear about them they're already running with the injured people, trying to regroup.

Now. We don't know the specific way Glenn got so injured. He most likely got shot by arrows but also-

My theory is they used mana disruption tools on them. They're ineffective to those who use dead mana (like dark elves) but very hard on mages and dragons (op mages). They weakened them and that's how they got to the mages more easily.

Glenn was wetting the whole of Bud's back and shoulders in blood from 'when he couldn't control his breathing yet' as he was being carried and later to pass him onto 'safety' Bud just placed him down.

So I think the blood is most likely from internal injuries first and foremost. Much like Cale coughs up blood often enough to be covered from head to toe, this could be similar.

That being said, they were probably attacked in a way that they got serious outside injuries too (probably by the arrows I mentioned earlier).

But what I'm trying to say- ignore that this is probably not how Glenn got injured and pretend Bud just noticed they're taking out the mages (which was very smart from the other side honestly, cutting off all communication and information flow effectively).

Do you have a favorite TV show?

I haven’t really watched anything new lately. The kids go to bed so late that it’s useless to try to start anything… hopefully someday! 😂

With that being said, Detectorists is one of our favorites: it’s a rare show that my husband I both enjoy equally as much and haven’t gotten tired of rewatching. They’re perfect for our evenings; 30 mins each and we’ve already watched them all so we can just pick a random episode.
