ok guys i needed like 2 days to collect myself after seeing the outsiders musical, but here are my thoughts and observations (for reference i was at the 9/28 matinee)

1. i LOVE LOVE LOVE trevor wayne as ponyboy. his voice is phenomenal and he just plays ponyboy so well

2. idk if this was supposed to happen but in GGAH, daryl dropped the car keys but he saved it very well

3. brent messing up in RITF was actually fucking hilarious 😭

4. I LOVE TRVOR WAYNEEEE

5. the lighting throughout the entire show was PHENOMENAL especially during great expectations and the scene where pony and johnny get jumped

6. speaking of the scene where johnny and pony get jumped, it looked so real it was insane. there’s one part where bob slams pony’s head on the hood of the car and i thought it was real for a second-

7. joshua boone singing little brother might just be the saddest thing in the entire world. he was literally sobbing the whole time and it was so emotionally raw and heartbreaking

8. uhhhh brent comer was like sobbing the entire second act 😭 it was literally heartbreaking

9. jason schmidt’s comedic timing was so good, he is such an amazing sodapop

10. emma pittman’s opt up in JFT is SOO GOODDDD omg

11. TITT and DAMD were so heart wrenching and raw they made me so emotional

12. johnnys death scene and the silence that surrounds it was so beautiful it was depressing i was sobbing so hard

13. victor as paul was so good omg i was so excited

14. the rumble scene was SOOOOO GOODDDDD

15. integrating johnny into the rumble was so amazing omg

16. the curtain change from the beginning of the show to intermission was so cool

17. the fire was sick asf

18. the choreography for everything was so good but especially for run run brother with the boards

19. also the lighting before run run brother with the red light behind dallas making him a silhouette was so sexy sweet yummy

20. two-bit’s scream in JFT is so heart wrenching i was crying

21. stage dooring was so worth it all the cast was so sweet, especially daryl tofa. i was wearing a shirt i made that said “i ❤️ twobit” and he said he loved it and i was actually having a conniption

-when Brody and sky start singing together and you can see that they’re both genuinely smiling and laughing with each other and it’s so cute

-“they’ll do all that they can to keep you poor and scared”

-when all the greasers are revealed Brent’s kinda hugging Anna and it’s so cute

-at the same time Tilly’s messing with Daryl, then she reaches up to Renni, then kinda hugs Brent’s leg and he leans into her AND ITS SO CUTE HRHFJDH

-Daryl and Brody doing the handshake

-Jason greeting sky then audibly slapping Josh strobl with the rag 😭

-the way Emma’s with kwp and they’re being all romantic and then basically immediately she’s lifted into the air by rj and kwp is forgotten
