AM Elegant Bicorne - Regency Conversion Set pt. 3

This is a 2t4 conversion of Wawa's bicorne hat. Every swatch is based on a real European country from the 18th-19th century. Said swatches are all the ones of the original, except the Baden one which seemed to be identical to the Austria swatch. I really don't know a lot about military uniforms, but I guess that means you could use the Austrian bicorne for a Baden uniform as well.

Each swatch has a custom thumbnail that says what country's uniform it corresponds to (though I realize the text isn't super visible in CAS). I've attached all the thumbnails at the end of the post if you're curious. Now then!

The question can be interpreted in three ways.

Technical:

just... Pain...I have an old 7th gen Intel i7, 16 gigs of ram, and RTX 3060. The thing is. When It comes to meshes, or hard surfaces (the polygons) blender is actually very good at handling a lot of them. But guess what blender does NOT like. Clouds, textures and displacments. I did the details in the cube first, and then sufferd through the pain and lag of clouds and textures.

Render times don't increase with polygons. This many poligons render a 1080p image in 40 seconds. You just have to be smart about hiding stuff you don't need when editing.

I can send you the model. It's really not a huge problem.

Creating detail kind of technical:

well it is indeed hand made. It doesn't take long if you blender very aggressively with energetic music. The first wall took me, ~30-40 hours. The second is barely visible so just a copy of that with modifications. I premade greebles and assets that I have later scatterd. You can see I reused a lot of stuff. In the project I am currently working on it will be different. But in this one, I tried to follow the doctrine of hiding the flatness of the cube. So it doesn't look like a cube with stuff on it, with fairly decent results. Made some holes some structures etc.. The plugins that I used mostly are discombulator, blenders inbuilt panel gen. And we'll uh. That's Pretty much it. Made a geonodes modifier, for the pipes. So it's easier, so that's a thing.

And the rest is just me trying to be creative and stuff.

The "how do I come up where goes what"

I domnt funkin know.

I'm an engineer. And that means I solve pracital problems. Such as, will this pipe going from here to here make sense? Or does it make sense to make this thing here if there is another nearby? I can barely be called an artist, or creative for that matter. I can't draw like at all,I just get anxiety when I try, I can't make anything that is alive in blender. Like genuenly anything.(including scugs :<). I am pretty darn new to blender with barely even 1 k hours. I looked at references of Cappins (the creator of the original 3d model found in OE.) Model, I got some inspiration from there.

You can defenetly see the similarities. I took inspiration from a lot of the stuff on Cappins model. Unfortunately I for some reason never figured out that iterator cube is not a cube. It's a uh... Pancake shaped cube. What I also like a lot about Cappins model, is that it's very very well balanced. Perhaps some technical details are questionable but at that scale that can be ignored. I later talked with him. And he explained me the meaning of primary secondary and tertiary detail. Wich is actually very useful. Go google it if you draw or model. As for my model. I'm happy that people like it but I'm not happy how not canon it is compared to other iterators. Perhaps, it's an older model of an iterator. It took me nearly a third of the time cappin took to make his, that explains the quality difference. And we'll he had to start from scratch.

I hope that answers all the questions, otherwise ask again. It's not like I'm gonna go anywhere.

Nightcat: -literally just an ordinary scug besides the fur color, is basically the normie neighbor to the other scugs, always around but never got involved with the iterators or any big events -possibly the un-altered enot... nah, i'm sure it's a coincidence. Enot/INV/???: -despite obviously being a purposed organism, there are no records or knowledge of their existence -probs an attempt to destroy the karma cycle, but they destabilize it instead, causing unpredictable changes and probably causing alternate realities -bizarre personality and overly affectionate antics either due to loose grasp on reality or being unable to keep a consistent relationship between fluctuating timelines/realities -pretty hush on what the other timelines are like since it causes awkward situations, but couldn't resist telling 5P about Five Pebbsi, the catboy outfit, and various other embarrassing details. 5P killed them on the spot for it. worth it. -Saint seems to know about them but won't elaborate why or how

You and I were standing together in the silence that accompanied 25:00.

It was silent, unbearably so. You and Meguru had just missed the last train, just by a split second, and now you were here, standing around the train station in the middle of a cold, winter night.

The white mist of your sigh looked cold in the dim fluorescent lights casting shadows.

"I told you not to wait for me," You huffed out, your breath visible as white mist.

Meguru could only pout, "I didn't want to go home alone." He whined, much like a child. The silence came crawling back, and Meguru didn't like it.

"C'mon, let's go somewhere instead of just standing around, yeah?" Without giving you time to respond, he grasped your gloved hand in his, dragging you away. "W-Wait, Megu! What if we miss the next train?" You breathed out, struggling to pull yourself back from the athlete. Meguru could only smile in response, "We can just grab a taxi! For now, let's not waste this moment."

When you look up, a meteor blinks out beyond your line of sight.

The streets of tokyo were still lit up, despite it being well past midnight. It was silent, though, with few people being out on the streets, almost none, actually – the two of you had only passed by a couple of people while you were out and about.

"All the shops are closed. What are we gonna do here, exactly?" You questioned, adjusting your scarf that had been thrown out of it's previous, neat shape that you'd put it in before. "We're not going to go shopping, silly." Meguru chuckled, dragging you again, across the street, this time.

"Please don't tell me you want to go down the slides." You groaned, catching sight of the children's park, that was unsurprisingly empty.

"No, look." He nudged your side, looking up, which prompted you to do the same.

It was dark, as it should be. Only, it was littered with small white dots that glimmered in contrast to the darkness of the night sky. One moves through the sea of stars, shining brighter than its peers.

"(y/n)! make a wish!" Meguru clasped his hands, closing his eyes.

"What wish did you make?" You looked up at him, after he'd opened his eyes. "I'm not going to tell you, it wouldn't come true, then." He grinned, sitting next to you on the park bench.

Has the view always been this pretty? You should know, you've been here multiple times, passing this place when you'd gone to or from work.

"It's beautiful, don't you think?" Meguru took notice of your dazed look, smiling softly at you, in comparison to his boyish grin earlier. "It is." You hummed in agreement.

If we hold hands and look up at the starry sky, you and I will fly alone through the night.

You felt another hand take hold of your own.

Looking down, you see Meguru's hand atop of yours, providing your hand with an ounce of warmth.

"So, what'd you think of today's outing, hm?" Meguru nudged you again. Your eyes were half lidded by now, the exhaustion from a day's worth of work catching up to you. "Mm... I like it," You leaned your head on his shoulder, to which he reciprocated, placing his chin on top of yours. "I like spending time with you." You finished, another long breath leaving your lips.

It was silent for a while, and you're not sure if Meguru had heard you. But it didn't matter, all you could think of was sleep at that moment.

You were well into dreamland when Meguru had called a taxi. You woke up at some point through, but went back to sleep just as fast.

"I like spending time with you too."

You would've thought you were dreaming if you hadn't felt the warmth of his arms holding you as he placed a gentle kiss onto your forehead.

Well today did not go absolutely according to plan. But thankfully it was not as off the rails as yesterday was. It was a better day even if it didn't work out perfectly.

I slept alright. I slept in a bit and when I woke up I felt pretty good. I am glad I was able to get some good sleep. It let me be very productive today.

I started by taking a shower. I wanted to wash my hair and then I would perk my eyelashes. I had to time everything well if Naomi and Kim were coming at 1.

I felt pretty good. I was very clean and decided I would get dressed before I did my eyelashes.

I just wanted to be cozy. I love this long sweater dress and it was pretty perfect for this grey and foggy day.

I would set up on the bathroom floor and do my eyelashes the left eye went poorly like it does every time. But I got them done at the same time and not doing one eye and then the other. I over curled my left eye though and I hope it calms down a bit but that's okay. I'm still happy with my progress in learning to do this. I get better at the application every time, but it is a hard thing! So weird.

After I finished that and cleaned up I worked on cleaning the apartment. I changed the kitty litter and vacuumed. Moved some stuff around and started preparing the house to have people over.

I went to check my phone and Kim texted me that they were sick and would have to reschedule. Not a big deal. We will find another time.

Well now it wasn't even now and I had a clean apartment and hours with no plan. So I decided to finish cleaning up the apartment and then I would go out into the world.

I haven't been to savers in forever. I decided that would be a fun trip. So I would make that drive. Which kind of sucked because people can't drive in fog and were acting stupid even though visibility was fine.

I enjoyed my music and the drive despite others, and made it to savers in one piece.

And it was an awesome trip. I got a grab bag with three wedgewood plates for $4. I got a deck of vintage playing cards with ducks on them. I got a gift for someone.

I wasn't exactly planning on looking at clothes. But I did and I had some awesome finds. I got two jumpsuits that are skin tight and will be amazing for layering and keeping warm. I got a soft Tshirt dress. I got a beautiful tea dress that has tie straps and I love.

But the big find. The prize of the day. I found a LL Bean long coat. For $12. I am so beyond thrilled. I love a long coat but they tend to be overwhelming because I'm short but this one is so so perfect. I'm thrilled.

I was all excited and happy with my new jacket. I looked around for a little longer but nothing was topping that.

I finished looking there and paid and headed out. Onto the next one.

I went down the street to hit up the goodwill there. I found a few more gifts there. And a new picnic basket with a lid. Some frames for gifts. It was so good time.

I went back to the car and drove to Marshalls to look for sweater tights. No such luck. And I got very very tempted by leather purses. That I do not need but I will continue to think about.

I walked over to target next. Where I did find the sweater tights I wanted. I also got the hair stuff James needed and some holiday deodorants. Then I wandered around for a while.

The lines were very long so I decided I would just get in that now. And it did take a while but it was whatever. I paid and went back into the world.

When I got to the car I checked in with James and decided I would get a sandwich and then go to the museum and after they were done we would go look at the two houses.

And this worked out great. I went and got Wawa. I got a little sandwich and ate in the car. And then went to find my husband.

The drive back was kind of rough. There was an accident on the ramp to the highway so I had to go a different way and the gps took me all around the beltway which was bizarre. But I got to James before 4.

I enjoyed sitting with James while they finished up there day. I chatted with Phil for a bit. And told James about the day. It was nice. I enjoyed being at the museum.

James would finish up and load up the bike on the car and we were off.

We saw two houses and neither were amazing. The first one was another blue house. And it has potential but it makes more sense now why there were no photos on the listing. This was rough. It was still occupied and the woman was nice but this place was a mess. The carpets were disgusting. There were bones in the basement. Of a rodent probably. Everything just seemed dirty. But the real issue was the smell. The owner has poured spearmint oil on everything. The smell was so strong my eyes and nose burned. It was clear she was covering something up. But man. It was tough.

We were all in agreement that this was not the palace. Even at the price, it would need so much work it wasn't worth it for us.

So to the next one. This one was as far away as we were comfortable with. And it was cute. But this one also had basement water damage and clearly there had been a grease fire in the kitchen. I loved so many parts of it, but we decided that it just wasn't going to work out. We had a good conversation with Harold about first time home buyers. And it turns out we see his first first time home buyers! So he is learning a lot too. He would send us a few more to look at and we might go see those tomorrow. Exciting. I'm glad he's trying to hard for us. It is a big ask.

We would head home and soon Callie was coming over! I was so glad to see her. James would make us quesadillas which was so nice of them. Me and Callie went over my camp schedule and she pointed out a few things I can fix up. And we just talked about camp nonsense. Hopes and dreams for next summer. It was just so nice hanging out with me friend.

We talked about other stuff to. Life. People. Diagnoses. We talked about the upcoming Christmas party at camp. And the drama around that. Im so glad she came over.

She would leave around 930. And I would spend some time trying in my new things. And it was a good evening.

I am cleaned up and in my jammies now. I'm going to get ready to sleep now. Tomorrow is another busy day.

But only a little. I have to get an x-ray and I get my injections. We might see houses. I'm looking forward to being with James. It will be a good day.

E is cranky and oddly protective of his mama and he definitely intimidates other littles. He can't help it though. He's such a teddy bear uuuugh You've seen him be rough a few times during his tantrums but only once he's comfortable and you've always told him "hey use nice hands" and waited for him to ride the big emotion out until you can get him focused on something else

The Ceremony 

I was riding in a car with my family members and although I do not remember where our destination was, we drove past the store building that I had just got.  The store was empty and I only had my shop sign name mounted up.  The logo font was similar to Marshall’s and started with an “M” except I cannot remember the exact name that it said.  I was so excited and it felt so surreal to see.  We kept driving and as it got dark, my dad got sleepy.  Everyone also got out of the car except for one other female family member.  I’m not sure if it was my sister or grandma with me.  He parked the car in a parking lot and I looked out the window.  There was a small Wawa right next door and I was hungry, but it looked closed and the lights were off.  I was contemplating going to inspect it, then I heard a screeching car.  I looked back out the same left window and watched a dark colored car race through the lot, driving wildly past us, then coming to repeated harsh stops.  I couldn’t see who the driver was or if anyone else was in the car.  It kept making sharp turns and stops, like some were just learning how to drive or someone impaired was operating the vehicle.  Then, suddenly an animal ran up and jumped up on the roof of the car.  It looked like a black horse.  We had no idea what was going on.  The next day was bright and sunny as it was the day before.  My family and I were headed towards some sort of event.  I believe it was a graduation ceremony because there were sooo many people and other students and parents.  I had walked in with a casual outfit on and planned to change clothes after a shower.  My family went to choose a seat and I headed towards where the showers were for my age group.  Interestingly, both guys and ladies were using the same showers and locker rooms. I don’t know if that was allowed or not, but no one had come to tell us otherwise.  Once in there, I began conversing with a few different people.  Specifically, I started speaking with this one guy.  He was light skin and caramel-colored with moisturized curly hair in a small fro.  He was handsome and on the slimmer side body type wise.  We were talking about what we were graduating for and began to flirt a bit.  We also discovered that we had some similar interests.  He also had a friend with him, another handsome white guy.  The white boy was also slim, with a bit more muscle.  I figured that they must play a sport together.  I spoke with the both of them briefly until me and the light skin began to talk alone again.  He wanted to mess around and I informed him of the risk he may have.  He was surprised and visibly conflicted, but still willing.  We had sex, then when we were done, he went to sit and wait outside the bathroom with his friend.  Soon after, it was my turn to shower.  Then I went inside and the white boy came back inside with me.  He flirted like the first guy did and told me a bit about himself.  Somehow we began kissing in the shower and he undressed.  I was already undressed.  We also had sex.  But I made a mistake that I immediately thought about afterwards.  I looked at him and covered my mouth in worry.  Concerned, he asked me what was wrong.  I said I didn’t tell you something that was important.  But before I could say it he simply said “oh yeah.. damn I forgot about that and he told me.”  Confused, I questioned him.  “He told you?”  And he nodded his head.  He was not mad though.  He left to go change and I didn’t have my change of clothes at all.  So I wrapped a towel around me and went to search for my family.  I found them almost immediately and informed them that they could unlock the car and bring me my change of clothes and they agreed.  Once they finished socializing, my dad went to get it.  I stayed there sitting with my grandma for a few minutes as (Deena’s?) family walked by in a single-file line down the aisle.  They had an extra girl with them.  She was tall, chubby, and lightskin.  My grandma recognized her though.  She said “oh no, did you manipulate Koi into coming?” The mysterious girl heard her as they walked by, she looked at us and just nodded her head and kept walking.  My grandma started to get up, I guess to confront her. I wondered how she even knew her.

Tuesday, day 3 of our journey, we were on the road again at 8.20am still heading North through Lake Superior Provincial Park. The climbs up the hills were longer and harder on Tassie (the motorhome) and so it was hard to maintain a steady speed and deal with what were now severe cross winds. We had planned to stop at Wawa for Breakfast but got confused at the turnoff and kept on going to stop a short while later at a pull in for breakfast. It was 10.00am. Onward again and we ran into heavy rain between White River and Marathon (not Snickers (-: ) which then became low cloud as we climbed which made visibility terrible and slow progress. We found a viewpoint to stop for lunch just after Rossport at around 2.00pm, but with the rain and the low cloud we could see nothing much! The drive in these conditions was very difficult and the weather stayed with us just as we got to Nipigon. We had decided to try and reach Thunder Bay before our next stop, so we pushed on through major road construction, stop and go and had to make a quick splash and dash of fuel on the outskirts of Thunder Bay. Camping was hard to find and we discovered that all the Walmarts were in large Malls so no overnighting there. So it was on through to a Municipal Park west of the city down a terrible road through a First Nations Res. Eventually got the re got checked and had the levelling done and the slide outs extended to find that when we plugged in there was no power. Tried two other sites and still no power so it was a case of accept what we had. It had been a long and tiring day and I didn't want to drive any further.

So today we had travelled 399 miles, bringing our total to 1004 miles since leaving home. Tired, ready to rest up and have a beer!

WESTWARD 2024

As you may already know we are heading away on another adventure. This time it is travelling West in our RV. We will be leaving on Sunday morning and will try to provide you some info on where we are and what we have been up to as we travel. Hopefully you will enjoy the trip with us!

Mediafire purge: inactive creators list [WIP]

This is a list of inactive ts2 creators with downloads hosted on mediafire, which might be in danger since mf is purging files from inactive users soon, and links to their re-uploads/re-hosting. Right now the list is very short, (it’s starting to get long! :-D) so if you know of any more creators “in danger” (i.e is inactive and has cc hosted only on mediafire), please let me know and I’ll add them to the list + try to back-up their content :-)

I’ve got a thought? experience? Thing™? that’s been kicking around in my brain for a few months, and it won’t exit my constant thoughts unless I write it out, so

Context:

I’m neurodivergent, most definitely autistic, possibly also got ADHD (or ADD?? idk). I have been highly aware of and also completely unaware of this for most of my life.

I’m also queer, aspec, trans, gender-fluid/non-binary. I have also been highly aware of and completely unaware of this for most of my life, though I will admit the whole aspec thing I figured out a while ago (thanks internet).

All this is to say that I’ve always noticed how people look at and act around me, and the differences between how they act around others and how they act around me. When I’d get excited talking about something I like, people would look at me with the same weirded-out look everyone does. Shared glances in a Wawa while I try to unzip my wallet. Silence when I don’t understand the joke.

It’s a strange feeling now, being openly and visibly queer, walking around and knowing that I’m being stared at for my odd fashion sense or the pronoun pin on my vest or my haircut and not for being the strange little neurodivergent kid who doesn’t know what they’re doing.

Warren ‘Wawa’ Snipe’s ASL Super Bowl performance went viral. He wants to redefine what deaf artists can do.

For weeks, Warren “Wawa” Snipe, stood in front of his bathroom mirror replaying the same two songs and rehearsing every word.

Ever since the National Association of the Deaf asked him last month to perform the national anthem and “America the Beautiful” in American Sign Language at Sunday’s Super Bowl pregame, Snipe, who is deaf, began studying the lyrics and translating them to ASL.

“I would listen to the music over and over to get a feel of the music and the singing,” Snipe, a 50-year-old rapper and actor, told the The Washington Post in an interview via text messages early Monday. “This takes a lot of time and you want to make sure you’re understood, so playing with various ways to interpret a song is warranted!”

The carefully planned spectacle included pregame performances by Eric Church, Jazmine Sullivan and H.E.R., and a halftime show headlined by the Weeknd. But it was Snipe who became the breakout star, inspiring thousands of tweets and national news stories on his work. The moment for the rapper was a culmination of years of work to bring more visibility to both deaf culture and hip-hop, as well as the intersection of the two he has crafted.

“When you’ve worked so hard on your craft, giving everything you’ve got for your community and they ask you to do the Super Bowl, to me that’s an honor and some recognition of your hard work,” Snipe said.

Snipe, a Philadelphia native who describes himself as “a rapper who happens to be deaf,” graduated in 1994 from D.C.'s Gallaudet University and launched his music career in 2005. He calls his work, which is a mix of images and audio, “Dip Hop” or “Hip Hop through the deaf eyes.”
