After watching a movie i think Bruce has two moods for his kids being upset over something fictional

A) He has a perfect speech that the practiced and works for everything since he can't really keep up with everything they like

B) He's also upset because he forced himself to know what they're talking about

10 year old Dick, after a marathon of his current favorite cartoon: And then he goes and fights his best and only friend! but BUT! Then it turns out it was just a perfect copy of the best friend and now his real best friend is upset and actually turns evil because he "can't trust humanity anymore" aND-

It breaks my heart knowing that Act One!Orpheus wouldn't turn around. He's hopeful. He's optimistic. He believes in all the good in the world even when the world is a cruel and cold place

But Act Two! Orpheus has seen how the world is. He's seen how cruel and cold that it is. He forgets that there can be hope. And that is one of the most breaking things about the musical, in my opinion. Watching this man lose not just the woman that he loves, but all the hope that he had. Watching as he learns that the world isn't this happy and wonderful and beautiful place that he dreams about.

its an episode about the many ways morty fears rick.

its about being afraid of rick and being afraid of his sadness and his callousness and his power. its about morty knowing the power rick has over him and being afraid of that. and knowing that ricks decisions are fickle and often Bad and that morty is going to be beholden to them. when rick jumps morty is forced to follow after and pay the same price for no crime. and the fear that for his loyalty and obedience there is no reward . I want more people to make Nü Wa also Wukong’s mom because she also created him in one of the myths and if that’s the route we’re going for no fucking wonder he’s got so many issues

But I also fear that if Season 5 does this they’re all going to go “of course he has mommy issues” like ok he was also groomed, forced to partake in a fight he didn’t even want to do, is actually doing great as a mentor and is a somewhat good role model to Xiaotian and has taught him how to be controlled and capable and is clearly proud of him and has been effectively trying to change as a person

But sure let’s focus on the mommy issues and not the serious aspect of how Nü Wa not only did this again but also is no different from the other people in Heaven who do nothing for the mortals and immortals that have suffered because of their lack of care towards them and only imprison or attack them because they… attack Heaven directly.

Demon Bull King and Sun Wukong hold no grudges because they were victims of a very weird and messed up system; I hope Erlang gets punched in the face by them both
