Halvedstar - When no one else would step up to take the mantle of leader, Halvedstar gladly took the position herself. She wasn't going to let these sniveling, weak-willed cats be the reason her kit suffered the same fate as her mate... as well as the rest of her former clan. She is most definitely fronting strength and stubbornness to mask the crushing horror of what preceded this clan's formation, but you didn't hear that from me.

Owlgleam - Our poor, very young deputy. Didn't really ask for this position and certainly doesn't feel qualified for it. But when this crowd of shaken-up cats was all Halvedstar had to work with, she pointed at the least likely to have a mid-life crisis and said "you. Deputy." So, here he is. Doing his best!

Shadowfruit - An older cat who took the medicine cat role because nobody else could name five herbs off the top of their head. She claims she saw horrible, burning visions prior to the Destruction, and has been muttering "I knew it, I knew this would happen" over and over again. Halvedstar went "visions and you know that plant stuff? Awesome. Med cat for you."

Wormthistle - Oh she's 100% heading for the elder's den the moment she has the opportunity. As great as she is at sorting out disputes between other cats, she has no ability to calm herself down in a scary situation. Of which we are in. So, she might just be a tiny bit hysterical at the events of recent.

Longchirp - One of the few cats managing to keep his head straight. While the rest are reasonably upset at the devastation surrounding them, Longchirp is more busy giving Halvedstar glares from across their new camp. He does not like her, and honestly, wishes he had spoken up sooner when they were figuring out who the leader would be. Or the deputy, for that matter. Hopefully this won't turn into anything worse than petty arguments.

Badgerspots - Big boy. Big man. Large, powerful man. Could pick me up and throw me. Not much of a talker, Badgerspots tends to simply grunt in response to situations, much preferring to use brawn instead of brain. Not to say he hasn't any brain, though... He's actually pretty smart, knowing how to choose his battles, and when to back down. Unfortunately, this means he is not a himbo. But it's not too late.

Waterpaw - A scrawny little thing who is not happy about anything that's happening. When Halvedstar chose to be his mentor, he should've been honored to have the leader's approval!... But he was not. He was more frightened than anything. But at the very least, he has another apprentice to keep him company...

Cinnamonpaw - Apparently, this cat has decided to cling to his optimism despite the dire circumstances. Always keeping a wary smile on his face, Cinnamonpaw seems to know just what to say to lift the spirits of his solemn clanmates, maintaining a happy hop to his step that most older cats would envy. Let's hope he stays that way.

Weevilkit - Horrible, evil little child. The first thing this child did when I opened the game was make fun of Longchirp, and I'm choosing to believe he's doing it because he knows Longchirp wanted to have his mother's position. This fluffy thing can and will be a menace. I feel it.

Sparrowkit - Separated from his family after The Horrors, Sparrowkit was soon adopted by Badgerspots. He appreciates that, but... he misses his family. He misses home. He worries he won't make it to apprenticeship. None of his littermates did. What makes him think he'd be different?

Well... Let's see what happens, yeah?

DRA/SDRA2 Warrior Cats AU: Chapter One

"'Berry, we ran into a thunderclan patrol asking to see you and Oakleaf," Memorysplash's voice caught the small medicine cat off guard as she re-organized her herbs, "they sounded a bit out of it? By that I mean they were desperate."

Her father stepped into the light cast by the den entrance and shook his brown pelt free of leaves, old moss, and stray cobwebs. "Thunderclan? They're asking for help again?"

Waterberry rose to her paws and tapped her father's shoulder. "They haven't asked for help in moons because of their pride, Oakleaf... I don't know if you've forgotten, but ever since Icestar became leader, they've been more prideful then ever."

"Icestar...? oh, Iceclaw became leader? What happened to Smokestar?" His light brown eyes turned to hers, clouded with confusion and age, "I had no idea she had been on her last life, Waterpaw..."

Her heart dropped at that and she got a few pawsteps ahead, towards the entrance, and blocked his path. "Oakleaf, she's been dead for five moons. I've been a fully fledged medicine cat for ten. I'm Waterberry now. Don't you remember giving me my name...?"

Memorysplash had left by now, which Waterberry felt bad about, but her father's memory was becoming worse by the day, and that was more important in her mind.

Oakleaf jerked his head back in shock and moved back onto his haunches. "What? No, no... You should still be Waterpaw... I... You're only 6 moons old! You just got apprenticed! I haven't trained you in anything yet..."

"Dad, if I was 6 moons old, I would be a lot smaller than I am now...," She let out a shaky breath, "I'm 26 moons old now, Oakleaf. And... And maybe I should handle the thunderclan patrol today... you need a bit more rest, you're beginning to worry me."

The brown tabby frowned in dismay but slowly backed away from the entrance. "If you're sure you can handle it..."

Waterberry dipped her head calmly in response before turning and scampering out of the den, and soon, out of camp. The patrol was led by a large dark gray tom, whom she quickly recognized as Coalboulder. He was a half a moon older than her and, despite being from different clans, they practically completed their apprenticeships together.

On his right was a cream-colored she-cat with medium-length fur, an orange muzzle, and blue eyes- Hayshot. She was younger than the two of them by two moons, but she had a fierce temper that could scare a badger into hiding. Thankfully, she was playful most of the time. On his left was a small tom with light yellow fur, orange ear tips, orange paws, and heavy blue eyes. She had not seen this cat before, but he did look similar to Hayshot-- family, perhaps?

Coalboulder rushed forward when he met her eyes, his large paws stumbling over the river's pebbles so he could lunge and get to her. The small she-cat stumbled back and fluffed out her pelt in alarm, but he did not lunge to hurt her.

"Waterberry!," he gasped desperately, "Do-- Do you have any spare coltsfoot? Frostlight is out, and Honeypaw desperately needs it, and-- and--"

Hayshot leaped from rock to rock as a way to cross the water un-dampened. "Coalboulder, calm down. Waterberry, his sister... ah... Honeypaw, is sick again, and she's been having struggle breathing. Icestar has refused to set out herb patrols, and Frostlight has had no time to go out looking."

The scottish fold sighed and nodded in understanding. "Yes, I should have some. I'll wrap some up into a bundle for you-- you'll have to be careful when walking it back to camp, it could get damaged."

Hayshot dipped her head in understanding and Coalboulder dropped to his stomach to grovel his thanks. The small tom whom had accompanied them tried to hop on over, although he slipped and nearly went splash into the rushing waves. Thankfully for him, Hayshot turned around in time to grab him by the scruff and yank him over.

Waterberry waved her tail in temporary farewell and shot back to camp, allowing her paw pads to be scraped and bruised by the rough stones underfoot, all so she could get what she needed and give it to the patrol in time.

When she returned, Suncloud and Birdstorm were sharing tongues with the patrol-- laughing, making jokes, playfully bopping each other... It was nice to see that clans could get along, even not at a gathering.

Coalboulder, once again, noticed her first, but the small tom got to her before the large warrior could. "I'll take those!" his voice was fierce and determined, just like hayshots, but also carried something akin to worry.

Gently, Waterberry placed the bundle of coltsfoot on the ground and watched with caution as the other gingerly picked it up.

"Ryepaw, remember, you have to be careful! Don't fall flat on your face again!" Hayshot called over teasingly, causing the apprentice to fluff up and spin. Due to the herbs he was carrying, he was unable to say anything, so instead he stomped up a storm.

A few heartbeats later, both clans said their farewells, and Waterberry returned to camp with a clear mind... Until she saw an injured Sparrowpaw.

Yet another family tree from my clangen (thankfully much smaller this time) featuring the leader and namesake of the clan herself Flailstar!

Flailstar (female)

Flail is my absolute favorite cringefail girl of all time. She decided to start her own clan just to prove that she could, she's constantly afraid of her clanmates doubting her abilities to the point of her overstepping the bounds of her leadership and alienating her clanmates, she currently hates BOTH medicine cats for not having a strong connection to Starclan but can't get rid of either of them, and has gotten into a fight with every single kit in the clan at least once. She is 142 moons and hasn't lost a single life and I hope she lives forever

Eevee (female)

Found dead in the territory, the clan took in her litter of three kits. When Flailstar came to investigate the body she instantly recognized her as her cousin from twolegplace (her mother had joined the clans before they were born, while her mother's sister had stayed with their twolegs). Flail is now keeping a special eye on the kits, but hasn't told a soul about their kinship

Glarenettle (male)

Almost always in a bad mood, this freshly-made warrior hates responsibility yet keeps getting saddled with it because of his mom. He has a habit of thinking with his claws and not his head, which is what lead to him catching a sick rabbit and accidently poisoned him and his brother...leading to Brightpaw's death. This has only made his attitude problems worse. He wants nothing more than be left alone but now he has to mentor Waterkit and he is entirely unthrilled. He recently went out alone and picked a fight with a nest of rats, and is now holed up in the medicine den stewing

Brightpaw (male)

Brightpaw had very little say in becoming a medicine cat apprentice; his mother wanted more direct control over the medicine den and he was the vessel to do it. He didn't really get along with his mentor and often spent afternoons gossiping with Glarenettle about it all. He was pretty upset when he died from poison but didn't have the heart to be truly angry with Glare over it. After all his brother was on his own now, and he was the only one who ever saw through his anger and saw the hurt inside. Brightpaw watches him from Starclan and hopes his brother can sort himself out before he gets himself killed

Flamepaw (female)

Absolutely no one can tell Flame what to do as she everything she does is always on her own terms. She's been feeling a little gloomy lately as her new mentor is Flailstar, which means she won't be able to get up to as much mischief with the leader getting her in trouble

Waterpaw (male)

He was a whiney and petulant kit, often getting into fights with and tattling on his sisters. As an apprentice he's grown an even deeper mean streak....which isn't helped by the fact his mentor is Glarenettle who Water looks up to like he hung the moon

Thunderpaw (female)

Incredibly skittish, she was often mocked by her siblings for being afraid of thunderstorms (her name was chosen before this fact was known). But the cat who became her mentor, Hailthump, comforted her, telling her that he was afraid of thunderstorms too. The two came up with a whole routine of checking the sky every night for rainclouds, and if there was some Hail would spend the night in the nursery just for her. Now that she's his apprentice she's determined to prove herself and overcome her fears to make him proud
