Thank you for the asks, as always! BLUSH -Who flusters them most? Seren: In a good way? Sam, in every universe. He can stop her dead in her tracks the moment she sees him- no matter what iteration it is. In general? Not much these days or if it does, she's learnt to mask it. Jumping into universes so unlike hers she's developed that skill to survive....apart from when it comes to him.... Aeryn: Good way? That would be Reyes of course. He can say something that can have her composure snap in a second and she loves it. In general? Wanton cruelty, she finds anyone who takes pleasure or has apathy towards it utterly frustrating. Zofie: Good way? Adam shirtless leaves her dry mouthed and speechless. Generally? Not much, except a Illuminati agent who keeps bloody mimicking her to sow confusion. Kiara: Good way? Last time was when Garrett was training with her and she' had'd thought she'd got the upper hand and he turned it on her, flipping her onto her back and straddling her, pinning her to the ground. Seeing him leaning over her, definitely had her very flustered. Though he also seemed to feel the same a moment later. In general? Seeing Void magic corrupted, by witches. It is a gift and they twist it, she never understands it.

WATERMELON-What is their greatest reason to get out of bed? Seren: The hope that the next jump will lead to a universe she can finally stop running in. She's not even sure how she'll know, but she hopes she'll sense it, that when she sees the Sam of that universe, she'll just know. Aeryn: The need to make Heleus a place for everyone to live in. They didn't all travel 600 years to fail. The fact if she does that, it'll mean maybe she can finally do what she wants. Zofie: Answered here. Kiara: The next job, the next challenge, the next opportunity to take someone unique away from those who don't appreciate it. WINE- How do they act when drunk? Seren: Being Starborn, she's not sure she can get drunk now, but she remembers she'd get very handsy, very jovial and her cheeks would get very red. Long as it wasn't tequila, then she'd just get sick. Now though, alcohol seems to heighten her empathy as she feels things from people so much stronger after a few drinks. Aeryn: Flirty, the life of the party. But, something she got from her father, she can drink a lot before becoming drunk and with SAM flushing it from her system faster than normal, she doesn't tend to stay drunk long. Zofie: She can't get drunk, the Sentinel system wont allow it, but she vaguely remembers being pleasant when drunk. Kiara: Her barriers comes down and she loses her filters. She tends to speak her mind and be blunt.

Last night I had a dream from the perspective of an immortal lesbian vampire who could secretly turn into a dragon.

She was a member of the Illuminati, but was very disillusioned with the whole thing and feeling depressed after World War II. All the other members were snobby old dudes who refused to take her seriously because she looked like a girl in her late teens/early twenties, even though they supposedly knew about the vampire thing.

So this vampire lady was minding her own business and some kind of lawyer(?) showed up to remind her that she was Obligated to attend the big once-a-decade Illuminati dinner party. He also implied that the other members of the Illuminati thought she had fallen through the cracks of polite society and was living some sort of dysfunctional deviant lifestyle.

Naturally she decided to attend out of pure spite.

Vampire Lady showed up at the party and stirred up surprised murmurs from the rest of the Illuminati members. This one sleazy car salesman-looking guy came up to her and offered her a drink which looked like a mason jar of sparkling water (which was heavily implied to be poisoned) and invited her to join the table of Illuminati members in their scheming and politicking. She took the drink, thanked him, and then went off to find the one table of normal people who were there for some reason.

When she got there, she held up the jar and was like “I’ll give all the money in my wallet to whoever drinks this.” All the people at the table seemed to have witnessed the previous exchange and knew what they were getting into, so they ended up splitting the drink between about three dozen of them along with the cash. Each of them ended up with about $20 and suffered no ill effects. Vampire Lady was really popular at that table after that.

Everyone started eating dinner. Vampire Lady grabbed a whole watermelon, bit into it, and started sucking the juice out with her fangs.

The teenage girl sitting next to Vampire Lady was very confused and concerned, so she stopped and explained that she had the option to either eat like an actual vampire bat or to use her fangs like a straw.

Apparently relieved, the girl asked if she ever got brain freeze doing that.

“Yeah,” admitted Vampire Lady, reflecting on a memory of a large scoop of ice cream.

Afterward there was dancing and everyone had a great time except for the old Illuminati dudes.

Sephora Holiday Sale Guide

Having spent the past month or so sending out Holiday gift sets to editors and influencers I feel like I have a pretty good handle on the new stuff in Sephora right now, so I thought I would make a little guide of some gift sets to check out during the sale this month! 

The 20% off sale runs from Nov 2nd-5th, for Rouge members (which if you are, I mean I’m kinda impressed but also you maybe need help), and later in the month runs for 15% off for everyone else with a Beauty Insider card (which is free!).

Milk Makeup Meet The Fam Milk Bestsellers Set ($39 $33)

Out of the seven items in this set, I’ve seriously thought about buying at least 5 of them in the past (the Kush Mascara, Cooling Water Under-Eye De-Puffer Stick, Blur Stick Matte Primer, Highlighter in Lit, and the Holographic Highlighter Stick in Supernova). Not only are you getting 7 products (even if they are mini) for 33 dollars, you’re getting a holographic glitter Illuminati bag out of it, which to me is almost worth the 33 bucks on its own

Pat McGrath Labs LUST: Mini MatteTrance Trio ($25 $21)

I mean, do I have to explain this one? Pat McGrath is perfect, all of her products look perfect, and I feel like anyone who wears her lipsticks will suddenly become perfect just by association. 

Glow Recipe Limited Edition Watermelon Jelly Tote Set ($40 $34)

Once again, this is partly on the list because of the bag. But when Glow Recipe first launched at Sephora their products were out of stock for months so you know its gotta be good. And seriously, you’re getting a K-Beauty sheet mask, moisturizer, sleeping mask, and a cute purse for 34 dollars, just in time for winter to come (and if you’re like me, make your skin so dry it starts to peel off your face in protest) which is a pretty good deal to me.

Drunk Elephant The Big Reveal Kit ($80  $75)

For $5 less than the normal price of Babyfacial you get the full size PLUS a full size Lippe Balm AND samples of the face wash, serum, and face oil. I’ve been wanting to try the Babyfacial for ages and I’m sure some of you guys have been too. Its still crazy expensive, but saving $50 (the retail price of everything in the set is apparently $132) would make me feel a little better about that, plus Drunk Elephant is so classy you know? I feel like people who use their products have their life together.

Holiday Perfume Sampler ($65 $55)

This deal is bonkers. Not only do you get $122 worth of perfume for $55, but then on top of that you can exchange the certificate that comes with the set for a FULL SIZE of any of the perfumes. There’s some great classic options in here like YSL Black Opium and Marc Jacobs Daisy, but my favorite of all of the ones that I’ve smelled before is the Atelier Clementine California.

Dyson Blown-A-OUAI Noir Set ($399 $340)

I’ve saved the most ridiculous for last, but hear me out. Like, I would never waste my money on this but it is objectively a good deal! You save 60 dollars on the blow dryer plus you get four Big samples of Ouai products. All I’m saying is that if you win the lottery or have an eccentric rich relative this is a good one to put on you Christmas or Hanukkah list.
