I had some of my own. I had a bug au and a cooking au and they were mostly just funny concepts tho the bug one was severely ooc and i hate it

1- okayokay so. i TECHNICALLY first got into it in 2017, after watching Glitchtale, the YouTube Algorithm TM recommended me more UTMV stuff and from there i went down a rabbit hole--

i fell out of it in 2018 BUT THEN I FOUND WATCHED UNDERVERSE IN MAY OF 2023 AND--

We've sort of turned into the undertale fandom at it's peak

Not in a bad way, but with our characters and plot

Underverse was completely different from Undertale plot-wise

I wouldn't call it a deterioration (not that you did), more of an evolution through time, like how pictures of Earth look different in 2012 or 2020

It's so fun to watch fandoms grow, they're like little ecosystems

SORRY this ask came in MONTHS ago while i was having some kind of meltdown but looking back on it, all i'm reminded of is just the State of the undertale fandom circa 2016-17 with underverse & the daycare shit & sugarmelon & uhhh glitchtale & all the incest & oh my fucking god

look i'm all for people having fun, i really am & i never would want to ruin that for people. i don't even resent the undertale fandom for going to the insane degree it did beyond the more scarring shit you'd just get hit with i'm All for fandoms growing,

however, if i ever see modern day TSP even step remotely in that direction past the " narrators for everything " & selfcest, i'm going to open a twitch account, start streaming, eat myself like an ouroboros & make you people watch

6. My favorite character

I’m going to take this as the base game and not + AUs. I really like the amalgamates and Muffet. Big lore characters with cool designs and the girl that wants to be left alone with her spider friends, make money, and throw tea parties. She’s so relatable

7. My least favorite character

I don’t think there’s a character that I dislike. Maybe the Snowdin enemies? Their designs are cool but they just never stuck out to me like the other enemies in the game

8. Is there anything I wish people would write more in fics?

It’s been so long since I properly read an Undertale fic so I’m not sure what people do include in them. I would say, I know a ton of them focus on the skeleton brothers, but it would be really cool to see a fic centered around some other boss monsters. Like muffet (I’m biased)

9. Is there anything in general I wish more people in the fandom talked about?

Monsters settling in on the surface. I know this has been explored before, but usually it’s because ‘oh there’s some big new threat’ like in Underverse (I think glitchtale does too? Idk I never watched it)

I really want to see discussion on what the monsters would do once on the surface. Or even discussions of what the humans would do in a sociopolitical exploration sort of way

Welcome to my blog! Hello! Oh, and I guess this is important: My blog will cover spoilers for all the media I talk about. I am a writer, literary editor, musician, beginner artist, beginner coder, and I somewhat consider myself to be a baker. I'm also learning French and other languages. I will post various types of media [art and text] but I do not think I will post videos. The franchises I like and the specifics are below.

The Professor Layton Series: I have played all mainline games. I have not played the crossover. I have read a few books and the LBMR manga. Eternal Diva is my favorite movie. I do not dislike any character except Bronev and Bill Hawks. Most of my posts will likely be related to this series. And I will most likely get excited with ideas, for I truly do love this series and it has changed how I view the world and I am deeply thankful for that. I will be sharing thoughts about headcanons as well as canon. The Fire Emblem Series: I have played every game that has released after Awakening, and have watched Path of Radiance. I will admit I'm not caught up with FEH because I'm not interested at the moment. However, my favorite characters are the MCs of the games, and Alear is probably my most favorite one. The Kirby Series: Played every mainline game after the release of Return to Dreamland. Air Ride too. I quit Amazing Mirror and Mass Attack halfway through. Magolor is my favorite character. The Zelda Series: Played most mainline games except for the really old ones. Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass I have not played either. Wind Waker I sort of played but not really. Favorite game is Breath of the Wild and I do not really like Tears of the Kingdom. Favorite character (I'm basic) is Link. Favorite mangas are Four Swords and Twilight Princess, though I only have the Four Sword one. Can't find the TP ones. The Cookie Run Series: I am a Cookie Run Kingdom and Ovenbreak player. I have played up to the Silver Kingdom and now I do not play the story anymore. Favorites are Pure Vanilla Cookie and White Lily Cookie, and yes, I ship them. The Sherlock Holmes (BBC) Series: Watched up until Season 3 and I will not watch Season 4. The Hounds of Baskerville and A Scandal in Belgravia episodes are the ones I remember most. Honestly, probably won't talk about this much, but it's something I've sort of recently been interested in. Undertale and AUs: Glitchtale and Underverse are the AUs I follow(ed?) most. I have played Undertale once and did not go back for other endings. Favorite characters are Chara and Gaster. Genshin: I have played up until Fontaine. Some of my favorite characters are Albedo and Furina. I am also into Pokemon, Mario, kind-of-sort-of getting into Persona. I also read (one of my favorite books is Howl's Moving Castle. Also watched the movie but that was at least 10 years ago.) I will also talk about other games/franchises and other things as well. Feel free to interact. And feel free to ask me for writing tips and grammar corrections. I do like doing that. Tags are the series/franchises I will most likely talk about most. In no particular order except PL is the first one.

I watched glitchtale... worst undertale fan series ever

I just watched a video about it and I knew it was going to be that bad.

When I was younger, I tried to get into it but didn't and all I knew about it was this pink demon girl with a pink soul who was Betty

It had pretty good fighting scenes and animation though. I wasn't really interested because there's too much characters I didn't really care about. I was so confused on why there was do many characters I did not know of.

It wasn't like Underverse and I knew everyone from Underverse. And also the character design in GlitchTale did not intrigue me. It was boring.

But the creator of GlitchTale also is problematic and gross.

I'm quite glad I was into Underverse rather than GlitchTale.

maybe it can be quite difficult for you to answer such questions, but 1. what do you think about undertale animations (the most famous ones are underverse and glitchtale) 2. and you heard about the new undertale fandom on twitter as Undertale EXE

There are alot of cool Undertale animations out there! I've watched most of Underverse, I don't know if there's anything new out. I could never get into glitchtale and don't plan on it due to issues with the creator...

As for Twitter- I don't use Twitter. I have a Twitter but no one liked what I posted there so I uninstalled it. Not to mention the drama- ugh... it just sounds so unpleasant. So I have no idea what's going on over there.

An Update.

So, tldr, I am going to be changing how I tell this story. The animation 'Chaos/Tale:ASOSC', will basically be cancelled, as well as other comics and short stories I was planning, and are going to be replaced by a (probably) few hour long video going through the entire story.

Now, to actually go into this: before I was introduced to Undertale, the only thing I really knew about me and my future was that I play video games and watch YouTube videos, just an average kid ig. Some time after I was introduced to Undertale, as well as the fandom (especially being Underverse and Glitchtale), as well as me trying to get back into drawing, I decided to try out a couple short animations, mainly basic sketches and stuff, and figured I enjoyed it, and I ended up deciding to try and make a Undertale fan animation, which I ended up deciding to plan the story first, posting it on wattpad first. Since I enjoyed making it a fair amount, plus the other real interest of mine not being something I could really 'make my future', I figured this is my interest and future.

When I actually started animating it, I made that 'intro' video in a few days, I didn't really take my time with it, even the music I did in an afternoon I believe. Since then, I had tried to work on the first episode, and got quite a bit done on the first scene, but at some point I realised I have no idea how to draw characters, and I didn't like how they look, and since then I have struggled to actually get myself to enjoy practicing drawing characters.

And now, after having spent a year and a half (probably at least), of trying to practice characters, as well as re-writing and expanding the story, I believe/hope I have learned what I actually like: Worldbuilding. This includes a story and/or history for that world. And seeing as how my favourite game is Minecraft, especially building and exploring worlds I get giving, plus how with Chaos/Tale I continue to default back to expanding the world and story, it really makes sense that this is at least closer to what I enjoy doing. Although currently I am still looking into if this is really my interest, I guess I just want to be sure.

Now, for what I intend to do for the future of this story; I am thinking of just telling it... I guess (idk if there is another term or something to say this-), through a YouTube video or two, as well as continue expanding on and showing off the worlds. I'm also going to finish up and show off all concept arts (and just arts) I have and will make, as well as finish up all the music I have wips of.

I do want to tell this story, and I think this will be the best way to do it (although my voice may suffer-), but I guess now, we will just have to see how this works, and I hope I properly explained my thoughts here.

Idk the whole thing about souls kinda stuck with us and we did not bother changing anything since. Also, the KRIS I mention here is my OC, not the Kris in Deltarune. My OC Kris was way before Deltarune even existed so I hope this doesn't confuse ya'll xDD.

NOTE 2: There are some characters that will have short descriptions because my friends (the owners of the other OCs) can explain it better (watch me mischaracterize them because of my poor memory xDD). However, I will still try to explain it to the best of my ability and memory! I'm just the one responsible with the angst o7

Did you see the message from Jakei, the creator of Underverse? She's going to post the last chapter and then stop because of the toxic fandom she's put up with for years.

Yes I have seen it and I am very sad about it but she does need a huge break from the Fandom since so many people called her and her husband bad people when they weren't. In this day and age, people try to find the littlest thing to try and "cancel" people saying that their doing good when they are running into everything. If they don't like it, then don't watch it, you don't have to threaten people or accuse them of anything. This seems to really get bad after what happend with Camila (glitchtale) did to them and people wanted are drama. Well to all the haters, you got what you wanted. You took an absolute amazing creator.

All I can say is that for them to take all thr time they need and maybe one day they can come back or if they never do, that's fine. They produce an amazing series that will forever be in me as well as one of the biggest inspirations to continue drawing

Oh I remember when I found first found underverse. I sound like an old lady but I've been in this fandom for a good 9 years now as I joined late 2015. It wasn't till a year later that I found underverse. I had just moved to a new city and school. I had made some new friends and I even was making a comic with my bestfriend at the time for undertale. One night I went to a different friend's place and we were chatting about undertale when she brought up underverse. Curious I searched it up and together we watched all the way to 0.3 part 2 (that was the latest episode). Ever since then I was hooked, of course there were other fan animations like glitchtale for example, which I tried getting into but just couldn't, to me they didn't hold the same feeling as underverse. I remember gasping and litterally almost crying when fell and swap sans died (I was a child cut my some slack lmao, I love these two).

I remember the arguments I heard about, where people were wondering if Cream was a cannon ship or not. I remember waiting each new episode and getting excited hearing one dropped. My friends and I would all watch it together and laugh, cry, and even hate on some characters. It fill my life with so much joy and I still enjoy drawing cross being afraid of cows.

This series has meant a lot to me growing up. Thank you again jakei for such amazing quality works, you've inspired me throughout the years and made me think that anything was possible.
