1. I love that Normal People and Pedro Pascal are now in Heartstopper (I feel like all of my obsessions are coming together!)

2. I love that Charlie has the worst gaydar on the planet 😂

3. I love that the timeline of Heartstopper has officially been thrown in the garbage.

This was going to be very short and cute but there was just too much cuteness so now it's going to be longer and cute. In this gif we have:

The tail end of Nick pushing Charlie off of him (which it took him longer to do than was strictly necessary).

Nick, in no hurry to get up, with his hands expecting and ready for more roughhousing (and his face showing happiness at the prospect).

Charlie noticing something and Nick - instead of doing the typical person response of looking towards whatever has caught his attention - just continuing to look at Charlie for a while.

There's just something so incredibly endearing about Nick's reaction when he finds out that the fact that he speaks French is attractive to Charlie.

Because at first he is actually surprised, which is surprising in and of itself. After all, most people know speaking French is considered attractive, right? It’s a trope at this point.

But Nick's been speaking French for years, he didn't exactly learn it to be more appealing to anyone, it's just part of who he is... someone like Ben, say, would probably be aware by now of the "seductive power" of something like that, and he would definitely take advantage of it. Nick just... never thought of it in that way, and he actually has to connect the dots when his boyfriend looks at him all blushing and flustered after hearing him talk to his dad? I mean, Look at him!!!

He's not smug or fake-humble about it, if anything he's confused? But also a little amazed, that something so normal about himself could fluster Charlie like that... and he doesn't quite get it, but he's just so giddy about it, about the fact that him doing something so normal in his life could be attractive to Charlie!! His favorite person and the only one whose opinion about that kind of stuff matters!!! And so he just takes it in stride and starts teasing Charlie about it, and... idk man, it's just so cute.
