I know it’s generally in good fun when making jokes about how young fujoshi in the early 2000s-2010s talked about queer couples (i.e. “yuri couple, yaoi couple, i see no difference love is love” or “if you police people’s identities you are not yaoiful at all”) but if you look at it from the lens of acknowledging that this, for many of them, is their first time even realising being queer was an option, it’s a very interesting study in realising that this is an attempt at inclusion from the perspective of someone who may not have ever heard of things like gender identity or sexuality beyond “boy” and “girl”.
#This isn’t to say that some of them didn’t come across as rude or disrespectful but it actually wasn’t common knowledge at the time if#You were in a conservative area or family until you came across a ship of two men or two women online w/o constant monitoring#please don’t derail about things like fiction affecting reality or whatever idc if they were watching boku no pico or DMMD#yaoi#bl manga#gl manga#yuri#queer#queer community#queer awakening#profic#proship#early internet#early 2000s#mid 2010s#early 2010s#fanfic.net#ao3#archive of our own#fanfiction dot net#livejournal#quotev#wattpad#fujoshi

Yashiki taking a stand for gender equality.
(I can't stop laughing over the NOISES Yashiki and Kanoe make as they try to old-man flail-run anywhere. 10/10 voice acting.)
It's a step forward but I fear in order to reach true equality his shirt should be translucent and we should be able to see his lacy bra and/or nipples
#easily top 5 cg in the game tho i love this one#its like not easily available online anywhere which is real disappointing tho#i was showing it to the girls because they love old men and i had to go watch a playthrough and screenshot to get it#so sad#death mark

Hey not to be a person with opinions who sticks to them (i know ugh right) but i liked what watcher was producing. The editing was crazy good the cinematography beautiful, all things i enjoyed much more than two boys sitting behind a desk. I have adhd bitch, half the time I'd zone out during bfu cus there was nothing but talking. Aint anyone the same so don't Speak For Me motherfucker. Weird and or Wonderful is a big budget project that I love. You can love the charm of youtube videos all you want, but I can like it when shit looks fucking clean, with great cinematography, and overarching plots/ideas. I guess y'all just weren't Watcher fans. Just bfu fans. And even then i think you just wanted a friend and projected that onto shane and ryan, lol
#watcher#shane madej#ryan bergara#i liked bfu#but i wasnt gonna follow some random men online#unless i Actually Liked Their Shit#i was skeptical but man they proved me wrong and everything they've produced ove watched#EVERYTHING ON WATCHER#Multiple times#i love that channel and what i creates#NOT BECAUSE OR SORELY CUS OF THE TWO BOYS FUCK#yall are the parasocial cus i wanted this business to succeed for future artists#not to think im a third in the shane and ryan friendship#and then feel Betrayed???#when i realize we have a quid quo pro relationship with them#whoda guess#fucking hell and these are 20 year old adults acting like this#shut up you have a breakdown from a college essay#let alone running a business

weirdly one of my favorite anime’s is Blue Period on netflix. mostly for the nostalgia of art classes and art school it gives me to the point i’m emotional. but also for the fact that there is a canon trans character that isn’t just forever written as cross dressing.
#i find it really funny going online and seeing the discourse about ryuji’s gender#spoilers btw:#like there is an entire plot line set aside for her and her journey on mental health and gender#and during all that she mentions the discomfort of not being satisfied with her body and that she transitioned to she/her pronouns#and not only that but the main character calling her out being like “you’ve been cross dressing this whole time but its more than that right#and not to mention how she always goes for men based on her appearance but also has a crush on a girl from childhood#end spoilers#i just realllyyyyy find it annoying how many anime’s play off gender fluidity as just cross dressing#anyway yeah just rewatched#oh one more awesome sauce thing about this is that when the mc is unsure of ryuji’s gender he uses they/them pronouns#so awesome#anyway#watch it bc yay#blue period

Ok, I'm quite impressed by True Detective: Night Country's ending.
It's not because it's a great investigation, because it's not about that. It's not about cops, they just happen to be cops, and it's either irrelevant or shown as a position you can use and abuse of.
Night Country is about loss and grief, about women's loss and grief, and about how women all handle life very differently, just like normal human beings.
Until the end, the characters were consistent, which is always a good thing. The indigenous part of the show is also consistent until the end, I like that it's not a detail in the background of the show, it's at the center of everything. They didn't let it wither over the episode only to use it for "woke points". They really wrote the season with this cultural aspect in mind.
Six episodes is very short but they managed to give all the main characters a real storyline around loss and grief, and how they deal with life. And once again: this is about women. Normal women, regular, every day women. This is rare on TV. This is rare to see cops like Danvers and Navarro, to see women like Rose who are not a walking cliché of a "witch", or even just to see indigenous women.
Comments online are criticizing the women banding and taking care of the Tsalal guys themselves. They really can't imagine a bunch of angry regular women taking some rifles and guns and threaten a handful of weak dudes?! Come on, your misogyny is really showing. The American Hero Syndrome is really rotting men's brains.
I'll say it's a shame this season is not better, but maybe something different would have made this focus less important. To me season 1 still stays the best, followed by season 3. But season 4 is important. And today, it's a needed season.
#true detective night country#true detective night country spoilers#also not sure why the online press says people loved the ending#they didn't#well at leas the most vocal people#they don't like seeing women who are not in the background watching men do everything

i think everyone on sunnytwt needs to be sat down so i can explain to them what basic human empathy is. and then maybe i put them in a blender until they agree to write meta about the characters instead of whether or not charlie day got facial reconstruction surgery.
#ada speaks#u do not exist in a vacuum and your words have the capability to harm others#celebrities may not see your tweets but your balding transmasc mutual and your follower who feels self conscious about her nose will#it is fucking bizarre the way these people conduct themselves online#really. really fucking weird man#and then you see them acting like ppl are 'defending rich white men'#instead of taking issue with the actual shit theyre saying#whether or not you think rcg has been 'under the knife' or not#a) how is this any of your business. you are not entitled to this info nor do you have a free pass to criticize someone's personal choice#b) ask yourself why you feel you need to critique alleged surgeries and how they stack up to imposed conventional beauty standards#c) you do not *own* them. you can have opinions on your own attraction to them but#a person getting plastic surgery or hair plugs or whatever is up to them. not you. if it helps to make them feel better then who cares.#just because it doesn't make them attractive to YOU doesn't mean its okay to point and laugh#if a trans guy got top surgery and it was 'botched' would you act like they were stupid for getting it in the first place?#if a trans woman decided she wanted to surgically shave her jaw would you shame her for that?#it's their body. it's not yours.#for the record i don't believe any of them have gotten work done but think its a stupid thing to speculate on regardless#ive watched family members go through plastic surgeries of varying success. ive seen them get botox and hair plugs and everything#normal everyday people do it and it's not always about vanity#it can be for gender reaffirming reasons (and yes this includes when cis people do it) to alleviate dysphoria#trying to point out alleged surgical alterations made is just. gross#not to mention that holy shit MOST of the shit ppl are saying is like. age. different hairstyles. different facial expressions.#maybe if these people actually watched the show theyd be able to see the gang in action instead of staring at pics like spot the difference

thank you for sharing the positives to being a leafs fan because it gets exhausting watching the entirety of the hockey world stomp over a team that is dealt with the shorter end of the stick. your content makes me still hold onto faith for a team that isn’t loved.
my question is: do you believe that the leafs hate he justified as much especially in comparison to other teams in the league?
the thing about the leafs is that they have one of the biggest and widest reaching fanbases in the sport (if you go to any games on the road, you'll immediately know what i'm talking about... every arenas like half full of em), but it feels sort of like a love them or hate them in the nhl itself bc of the amount of rivalries and history. that's not even taking into account their surface meme-ability in modern day for being unable to get deep into the playoffs. at least we no longer have to hear a deluge of first round jokes tbh.
i honestly don't think anyone holds as much contempt for the leafs as much as a certain section of their own fanbase so i've never viewed it as a leafs vs everyone else thing, though it definitely is that too lol. i ALSO hate a portion of this fanbase more than i hate any other team or its fans tbh bc of the way they talk about their own damn players. might as well cease to call yourself a fan at a certain point imo regardless of the fact that you grew up with the team or whatever. i don't actually think the leafs are like. targeted or everyone hates them the most (all original 6 teams take a fair bit of heat tbh), but their fans online are the reason a lot of like goofy polls and stuff always read as the leafs being the most annoying/biased/delusional group. it's hard to disagree in some ways. i guess i don't put myself in a position to see a lot of leafs hate in general? i don't follow people who hate them or interact with people who hate them beyond finding ppl in this fanbase who have such nasty things to say, lol, so that colors my perception but. for as much hate as you might see, the leafs are definitely one of if not the most loved team too. center of the hockey world, it's true it's true. you gotta take the hate with the love, but i also think a big part of hockey/sport culture is just chirping and insults in general so fkljdsl. being able to parse what's actual hate and just jokes is also important.
#easks#i do think toronto fans can get too big for their britches when they talk abt the sport in general and who it 'belongs' to#and who ~deserves~ certain things lmfao#if u love hockey.. the point of it should be to grow the game so more ppl can love it too.. not hoard it or#try to claim it only belongs to one place. its very silly#and i mostly see canadians doing that dumb shit so i think flkjsdfnh being an american who got into hockey and wasnt inundated#w sports culture from birth has colored the way i view this sport and team and how its talked about#joking around is one thing but i genuinely think the deep seated superiority complex from some ppl needs to die and is ugly#anyway. not a straightforward answer#i love the leafs and leafs fans ive found online and id prob love a lot of the normal fans in toronto itself but#the hardcore men who have been following this sport so long and taint it everywhere including online are the worst#hard not to see why theyre hated !! fjkdslj but i dont take the toronto hate as a personal slight to me bc#there are worse tor fans out there and they deserve to be shit on#not me tho. u stay safe-- FKLDSJFKLS im just here to love the guys and love watching hockey and chill

Pre-Loved Luxury: A Smart Investment for the New Year
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/02945bdc4b89cd5bf3994ba3c724cdeb/0f116d4086d68407-67/s540x810/4f6f0add31b02d0bfef0501870c1a166996f8439.jpg)
A trend that is here to stay is buying pre-loved luxury items as a way to start the new year with refinement and flair. Consider acquiring a vintage Rolex watch, a Chanel handbag, or even a classic Louis Vuitton bag. In addition to adding flair to your wardrobe, these classic pieces are wise financial investments. If you've been thinking about bringing a little luxury into your life, this guide will explain why buying pre-loved Hermès Birkins, Cartier accessories, and other gems is the best option.
In today’s fast-paced world, the pursuit of luxury has expanded to encompass sustainability and pragmatism. Owning high-end products like a Chanel handbag, an iconic pre-loved Rolex watch, or a timeless Louis Vuitton bag is no longer just about fashion—it’s about making smart, ethical decisions. Confidential Couture enters the picture at this point. Confidential Couture, a reputable brand in the pre-owned luxury goods industry, provides consumers with an unmatched fusion of elegance, affordability, and authenticity.
Why Choose Pre-Loved Luxury?
1. Access to Expensive Brands at Reasonable Prices
Expensive price tags are frequently linked to luxury goods. However, you may acquire high-end brands like Hermès, Cartier, and Louis Vuitton for a fraction of the price by choosing to buy pre-owned luxury watches or designer handbags. A pre-loved Hermès Birkin, for example, not only exudes classic style but also demonstrates your astute purchasing abilities.
2. The Importance of Sustainability
Purchasing luxury is not only a wise financial choice, but it is also a green one. Selecting pre-owned luxury handbags or watches contributes to waste reduction and the circular economy. Giving each item a second chance at life tells its own narrative and helps create a more sustainable future.
Environmental Impact: Producing new luxury things needs enormous resources, energy, and labor, adding to carbon emissions, pollution, and waste. By purchasing pre-loved luxury things, shoppers help lessen the demand for new products, minimizing total environmental harm.
Circular Economy: Reusing, refurbishing, and reselling products keeps valuable items in circulation and reduces wasteful production and overconsumption. This is made possible by pre-owned luxury goods.
Ethical Fashion: By buying pre-loved things, shoppers promote ethical practices by reducing the demand for fast fashion and its accompanying labor issues, including terrible working conditions and unjust salaries.
Economic Accessibility:Pre-loved luxury items often offer cheaper alternatives to new products, making high-quality, sustainable designs accessible to a broader audience, which fosters more conscious buying.
Investment Potential: High-end luxury items often appreciate in value over time. A pre-loved Rolex watch, for instance, is not just a fashion statement but a collector’s item with the potential for significant resale value. Similarly, iconic pieces like a Chanel handbag or a Louis Vuitton bag are always in demand, making them worthwhile investments.
Pre-owned Luxury Items to note
1. Chanel Handbags
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/5aacef4e8636f1b7e87c3030f303a503/0f116d4086d68407-ad/s540x810/3c787ec7a27800140a5258cf5e3cd5f23d7132c4.jpg)
Known for their timeless styles and flawless craftsmanship, Chanel handbags are a mainstay in any luxury collection. Choosing a pre-owned luxury designer handbag allows you to find rare, discontinued designs at affordable prices. 2. Pre-loved Rolex Watches
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/2f486efac1b10fc8a3aeea1437c82fe7/0f116d4086d68407-e0/s540x810/5023dff13acb003ab674b85ed30576a202132063.jpg)
A pre-loved Rolex watch combines precision engineering with timeless design. Whether you want a sophisticated Datejust or a sporty Submariner, purchasing used luxury watches guarantees that you will own a piece of watch history without having to pay the full retail price.
3. Bags by Louis Vuitton
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/589976dd0a14320ffe0a4a074477ebd9/0f116d4086d68407-3f/s540x810/f02f67e370d1e051dbf24a23954c8ab88df624bb.jpg)
A Louis Vuitton bag is a byword for style and practicality. Purchasing used luxury designer handbags, such as the timeless Neverfull or the sophisticated Alma, gives you access to a wide range of choices and can save you money.
4. Pre-owned Cartier Accessories
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/36155c2e7364ccc2c0c480cd2fbdadd9/0f116d4086d68407-74/s540x810/a2ab5d7ea52f4e522843f2aa9f428b0f4edad6f0.jpg)
Pre-owned Cartier accessories, such as Tank watches and Love bracelets, are the pinnacle of understated luxury. These pieces are ideal for people who value both beauty and functionality because they are not only exquisite but also retain their worth exceptionally well.
5. Pre-owned Birkin by Hermès
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/cdf9527bcb4a5a6a97bf9dc7627ad013/0f116d4086d68407-ca/s540x810/b884eb7a271332aa73485597d91647bca2c98651.jpg)
Many people view the Hermès Birkin as the ultimate handbag. A pre-loved Hermès Birkin provides the same exclusivity and craftsmanship at a lower cost, but purchasing a brand-new one can be difficult and costly.
Why Pre-Loved Luxury is the Future?
The growing demand for pre-loved luxury items reflects a shift in consumer behavior. Value, classic style, and sustainability are becoming more and more important to consumers. Purchasing used luxury watches, designer handbags, and other high-end items is becoming more than just a fad; it's a way of life.
Pre-owned luxury goods are establishing themselves as the industry's future in the constantly changing realms of fashion and luxury. Pre-owned luxury designer handbags, pre-owned luxury watches, and other high-end products specifically cater to consumers' growing concerns about sustainability, value, and uniqueness. Here's why pre-owned luxury is a smart investment in the future.
1. Sustainability at Its Core
Because luxury goods require a lot of resources to produce, they frequently have a big environmental impact. By purchasing pre-loved luxury things, you contribute to decreasing waste and promoting a circular economy. A Louis Vuitton bag or a second-hand Hermes Birkin still looks stylish and contributes to the environment.
2. Outstanding Value for the Money
One of the main advantages of pre-loved luxury is cost-effectiveness. It doesn't have to cost the earth to own a Chanel purse or a pre-loved Rolex watch. Pre-owned items often come at a fraction of their original price, making them an attractive option for budget-conscious luxury enthusiasts.
3. Unique Finds
Shopping pre-loved allows you to discover rare and discontinued pieces that are no longer available in stores. A vintage pre-loved luxury watch or a pre-owned Cartier accessory gives your collection a sense of exclusivity.
4. A Second Life for Timeless Pieces
Luxury goods are renowned for their classic style and longevity. When you invest in pre-owned luxury designer handbags or second-hand luxury watches, you give these iconic pieces a second life, ensuring they remain loved and appreciated for years to come.
5. Expanding Access to Reliable Vendors
Buying authorized products is now simpler than ever because of the growth of online marketplaces and second-hand luxury shops. You can shop with assurance knowing your purchase is authentic, regardless of whether you're eyeing a Louis Vuitton bag or a gently used Hermes Birkin.
6. Choosing Wisely to Invest
Luxury items like a pre-loved Rolex watch or a Chanel handbag often retain or even increase in value over time. By purchasing wisely, you’re not just buying a product—you’re making a smart financial investment.
7. The Future is Pre-Loved
The appeal of pre-loved luxury items lies in their ability to blend sustainability, affordability, and exclusivity. The market for pre-owned luxury will only expand as consumers adopt more eco-friendly and thoughtful shopping practices.
Why Buying from Confidential Couture Would Be a Great Idea?
In a world where luxury meets sustainability, Confidential Couture stands out as the premier destination for pre-loved premium things.
