Servamp beach day!
Pov: its a hot summer day (without the vampire war ofc and they can go out in the sun- and not transform into their animal forms)
Kuro will literally burry himself in the sand so he doesnt die of sunburn- (he gets a sunburn in seconds)
Mahiru and the wrath pair will probably be in charge of the food while izuna starts to use her new inventions
The greed pair and team melancholy prob play volleyball but how we know licht will literally smack that ball into someone's face
Tsurugi would sit at the side and build little sandcastles with takuto and junichiro 🥺
Niccolo will probably try to go into the water but its to cold for him 😩
Ildio will throw him into the water and jump in too.
...tsurugi and lawless with water guns? Bad combination.
They will be the worst duo and splash everyone like little kids water guns waterbombs everything
Misono wont set a foot into the water he will just stay on his towel
Lily and freya will prob just do each others hair braid it put flowers in it all that stuff
Tetsu would just swim around while hugh lays on his back and brags about stuff his subclasses told him
Lawless and ildio will just do dumb brother stuff like watching girls and stuff-
Mahiru is the mother like always and has to calm them down...he prob has just a little block of cheese in his pocket just to give lawless as a treat if he did good 😭
Lawless will gladly take the cheese- (ildio wants some to he gets jealous if he doesn't get cheese)
Kuro just casually play on his Nintendo while sitting in a swimming ring- (he probably fell asleep the first 10 minutes and gets a sunburn after-
Mikuni will just start to piss of everyone especially misono while jeje just sits around and tries not to heat up-
Jeje and niccolo will probably just faint at one point because of the heat-
Niccolo will read a book or start to draw the others while sitting under the beach umbrella and he just takes care that none of the stuff gets stollen
Tsurugi and takuto brought little duckies to play with at the beach😭
Tsurugi would prob start to play a hohle story and give the one ducky a tragic death-
Izuna and freya would go and buy ice for everyone!
After a long day at the beach they just sit at the sand and talk while eating ice cream and ofc melon for licht
Servamp really needs a beach episode. We do have a episode on the drama cd but not with all charakters so i made some hcs how it would be 😼👏

How I found my favourite anime. (Servamp)
No I do not watch every anime under the sun, I've only watched about 4-6.
Now that's out of the way. Servamp, how did I find out abt it? Youtube, I found a clip of Servamp of a Youtube short. WAIT, No i do not find anime by shorts, okay? It was a very special clip. Not a fight or funny line or anything. It was, a guy in a blue cat hoodie turning into a black cat.
And you see, i like cats. Also i liked things where something is meant to be scary but have that scary factor ruined for them within a quick second. (Thats why I like the Arcane Order from Trollhunters)
AHEM, now how i found it is outta the way, lemme talk a lil abt the show (No spoilers if you wanna watch the show after reading this.)
Aight, so putting it simply, a school boy find a stray black cat and takes it home, putting a bell onto the cat. Surprise the cat is a vampire but is lazy as hell, so the boy doesn't die. Later the villian shows up outta no where are is the cat's younger/youngest brother. And what made me really like this villian character is well, you remember how i said that i like when someone who is meant to scary has that ruined for them?
WELL, the villian is a fox. A FOX, you know, the little thing with the fluffy tail and ears and lil paws and laughs in a "hehehehehe" way. THATS THE FREAKING VILLIAN OF THE WHOLE SERIES. Ahem, so as you can imagine the villian lost all abilitly of being scary in my eyes.
So that's Servamp, theres only 12 episodes, but there is 20 books and a lot of CDs including storys and songs. Which again ruin all fear the villian ever had.
If you wanna watch it i do highly reccomend it, if you are into comedy animes or just good story line. Warning the intro isn't the best in the world and i do suggest you turn down your volume a bit.
Annnd thats how I found my Favourite anime and watched my first anime series. I guess i forgot to mention that part. Oh well. Also i may talk about Servamp more in the future if this post is liked by you guys.

Yeah. The moment I realised how many voice Japanese actors that I liked were in it, I just had to go for it. I’ve finished the first season now btw and will probably watch the movie later today. I’ll give you my person opinions in the DMs because imo it’s easier like that. Especially since I put some references to certain episodes in there and even use a quote at some point. And I totally understand your feelings towards Mahiru and even though I don’t have those, I do have some protective feelings towards him and some other characters. I like how it was even obvious to you and I’ll tell you that even by the end he’s still one of my faves but in a ‘wants to be there for him’ kind of way. Like I’d want to create a friend for him more above anything else. Yeah. I discovered two in different ways. Mikuni has me intrigued and I want to see more of him and he’s just so fun to watch. Then we have Hyde / Lawless who just… *holds hedgehog gently*. I was looking forward to seeing him because he’s voiced by one of my favourite Japanese voice actors (who is also in Haikyuu!! and makes his first appearance in the second season) and also because of his little dance in the end credits and he gives me so many feelings, none romantic but still all the feelings. I presume the fave that your talking about here is the character you mentioned in our DMs. I like him and understand him and hope that if he appears in the future, under better circumstances. I like how you love both. The opening song is a bit too intense for me so I always skipped it, but I would always listen to the ending song whenever I could.
Also, there’s something I want to ask. I do plan on reading the manga at some point, once I’ve done the first reread of that story I plan on posting later this year, and I was wondering how accurate of an adaptation the anime is. Like can I just start where the anime left off on or should I start earlier somewhere? Also, a few days ago you mentioned in a post that you would like to hear about our favourite friendships and I have to say that Mahiru and Sakuya are now def a favourite of mine. It’s just such a good friendship with interesting layers to it.
That’s all from me for now. Hope you have / had a wonderful day.
C
I'm just so glad you ended up going for it and Jesus, compared to me, you watch so quickly! I'll admit that I didn't watch the movie myself. In an odd turn from how I usually do things, I had watched the first couple episodes of the anime first but knew within the first three episodes that I loved it and really wanted to give the manga a shot too and while I finished the twelve episodes of the anime, I just stayed manga only after that. I might give the movie a shot when I do my reread and catch up of the manga in March and rewatch of the anime. I'll probably talk more about Servamp to you in our dm's, just because, like you said, it's probably easier that way, though as usual, I'm terrible at responding to those quickly and probably will need a couple more days before I respond, especially since (though I adore how much we talk, please don't think I don't) we talk a lot and have so much to say to each other that it normally takes me an hour or three to properly write out my messages to you.
I will say, I was surprised by Lawless so much! I had figured you'd like Mikuni…I love him, I honestly do, he's a fantastic character, especially in the later manga chapters and just I am always so curious about him and every time I think I have him figured out, I second guess myself. But Lawless surprised me. He's truly fantastic too, but I would have guessed you would have loved Licht the more out of the two of them. But that is very cool to learn about Lawless' voice actor! I know how much a good voice actor can mean to you. And see, in a surprising twist here, among my many eclectic music tastes, your girl here absolutely loves metal music or anything along those lines, so the opening really hits me right and it's actually on my hiking playlist because it makes me wanna get up and move and push hard.
As for the adaption of manga to anime, I haven't rewatched the anime fully in a bit, but I think it was a fairly decent adaption, but the ending of the anime was different from manga continuity. I think, but feel free to correct me if it turns out that I am wrong, that it was a case of the anime getting ahead of the manga? I know I personally noticed enough little differences in the manga when I started right from the beginning that I wasn't bored, even covering some of the same territory the anime did, and the art is just a joy in the manga, but I'd love to hear from other Servamp fans. What would you guys say in terms of where to start in the manga??
AND YES TO MAHIRU AND SAKUYA. I love their friendship, I love their bond and connection and how difficult it is for these friends to really have to be on opposite sides of what really is a war. Thank you so much for weighing in and all your wonderful opinions and I hope you're having an amazing day too, my lovely!

just fyi, if you want to watch servamp for the convenient kid storyline, that part isn't in the anime
Oh, thank you! I appreciate you showing this to me! But god, that's such a mood--poor kid ;-;
I admit, it's been so long since I tried the first episode of Servamp that I didn't realize there would've been a manga too lol. That's actually very helpful to know, since I generally read stuff easier compared to watching.
Anyway, thank you so much! That was really sweet of you to reach out & show it to me :)

Recently I’ve been talking about Servamp a lot to a couple of trusted friends and it’s made me realize something: Explaining Servamp to someone who’s never heard of it or doesn’t know very much about it… is actually SURPRISINGLY DIFFICULT?? /lh
First of all the first thing I’m always asked to explain is how to spell it and what the name means and I’m out here internally thinking to myself “how am I gonna get myself out of this one boys” because I have to explain that Servamp literally is just “servant” and “vampire” combined and I think from an outside perspective that’s probably a VERY bad first impression because… you know…
Another thing is also explaining the plot without spoilers because basically I sound like I’m saying “Okay so the protagonist gets in a fight with a vampire and he ends up having to make a contract with the vampire that he picked up himself on the street”, and from chapter 1 up to 118 everything’s got darker and WAY more intense. There’s also the vast plot and dramaturgical differences between the anime and the manga so unless they’re looking for spoilers I have to ever so subtly explain how we got from what I wondered was gonna be an action comedy to receiving extreme emotional damage every chapter as well as emphasize the value of watching both the anime and the manga as they sometimes feel like two completely projects but charming in their own ways
There’s also one more warning that I always have to give out about a certain someone…. do you know who the warning’s about?
Yeah I’m talking about Lily
I MEAN… DO I GIVE THE WARNING AND CONCERN MY LISTENER RIGHT AWAY?? OR POTENTIALLY SCAR THEM WHEN THEY’RE READING OR WATCHING SERVAMP FOR THE FIRST TIME?? It’s either I explain “you’re gonna see a half naked man on screen in volume 1/episode 2 doing what seems to be flirting but isn’t actually flirting” or I let them come to me being like “WHY IS THERE A HALF NAKED MAN ON SCREEN FLIRTING”
Servamp is my favorite manga actually so I love it with all my heart (I even have a WIP 200 slide google slides presentation on it if anybody wants to see it when I finish it). Servamp out of context though is very interesting per se because I’m sure that I’m not the only person here who’s noticed these things and if anything they’re actually HILARIOUS TO THINK ABOUT
In summary I love Servamp and it’s even better when you get to be the one explaining it

Ah, yes. My boom boom son.
💥 Favorite thing about them: Oooh, it's like hard to choose something here. I'm going to say his ambition. Bakugou does not give up. I also like his character design. I do like the red eyes and ash blond color combo.
💥 Least favorite thing about them: Really the only thing I didn't like was Early/Middle School Bakugou. Other than that, I really don't have anything.
💥 Favorite line: Ah, he's got many I like! Okay his whole breakdown during the Deku vs Kacchan 2 scene gets me every time.
On the more humorous side...
"Ah, old man smell!"
"Don't tell me what to do!" (Mood)
"That cake is massive!"
Every exchange he had with Fujimi (Zombie Guy) in the "Training of the Dead" OVA.
💥 BrOTP: I do adore the concept of the Bakusquad (or Katsucrew I started calling them (shoutout to @deadwriter16). But what I love writing is him and Uraraka. They actually don't have much interactions in the series, but I imagine the two also sassing each other like nobody's business. Of course, Uraraka is still sweet, but I imagine she's with Bakugou as she is with Iida, just a lot more teasing on both their ends.
💥 OTP: I want to say one, but I actually have two and it's Bakudeku (saw it coming) and Todobaku. I haven't explored much with the latter though, but I like it!
💥 nOTP: I have crossed fics and just any ship with him with any the adults and relatives. (I know they're now a team-up in this current arc but if I have to cross anything Bakugou with Miruko one more time...)
💥 Random headcanon: I'm sure it's a common one, but I think he owns more colors than just black in his wardrobe. At least five or more All Might tees and at least 1 pink shirt he wore without embarrassment.
💥 Unpopular opinion: Other than the color combo with his eyes and hair, I think his voice is also great in the dub. I'm both a sub and dub watcher and I swear when I first started watching the anime in English, I didn't catch it was Clifford's voice at all. I've heard his non-Bakugou voice before and that probably the first time I didn't recognize someone's voice. I watched Servamp and somehow didn't make the connection it was Mahiru there until episode... the last first season's episode.
💥 Song I associate with them: I know everyone thinks Dynamite by BTS is the perfect song, but come on. Dynamite by Taio Cruz is RIGHT THERE! And Kei$ha's Blow! Also, 'Bakugou' by Kamil. Yes, there is a song called 'Bakugou' and the background vocals sound like something the boys would do to hype Bakugou up.
💥 Favorite picture of them: Like with almost everyone... I don't have just one picture!

YO 12. animeys that should get more attention? (this may or may be not me also asking for recs lol)
THANK YOU FOR AN ASK! Alright I love that I'm already blanking on this when I spent 99% of my time yelling at my friends to watch things, lol. I'll do my best to give out good recommendations though!
(This is in no particular order)
1. The Duke of Death and His Black Maid
THIS SHOW. Okay so this is an anime that is airing this season (Summer 2021) that I didn't expect to like. It has a lot of what people consider "fanservice" but after reading most of the manga and seeing how the anime handles it, I don't really consider it to be "for the fans"? The plot is that the firstborn son of this rich family in a Victorian-like era has been cursed by a witch since he was a young boy that any organism he touches, even through fabric like gloves or clothes, will die. Because of this, he has been sentenced to living alone at a separate estate with only two servants, an old man who has been serving the family for generations, and the boy's childhood friend who is now his maid. It's a romantic comedy with a good focus on the actual mystery of it's story, trying to find the witch who cursed the boy nearly a decade later and get her/or find a way to undo it. The reason I brought up the fanservice issue before is that the story starts off with the Duke and his maid, Alice, already in a relationship, or having confessed their feelings, and since Alice knows she cannot touch the Duke, she likes to "tease" him from afar. Despite normally disliking shows where characters "flash" themselves, in this case I find that it is done with a purpose in this series as it helps shape the Duke and Alice's relationship. Don't get me wrong, sometimes there are scenes where I'm like "really? Did we need this?" but that's rare. The anime is CGI which is another reason I think people are staying away from it, but believe me, do not let the CGI discourage you. It does have some animation issues with its background characters, but the CG for the main characters combined with the backgrounds that look like they were storybook pages painted on a canvas make for a very enchanting world. The story of the Duke and Alice continues to surprise me and melt my heart and if you go and read through the manga since the anime likely won't adapt all of it, you are in for one very good, well thought out mystery involving witches and magic.
2. Servamp
This is sadly going to be another series where I'll say "go read the manga if you want more!" because it was a 12 episode adaption a few years ago so there is a SLIM chance of there being a season 2, but I don't think it's out of the question. (The anime aired in 2016 and the author went on hiatus in 2017 and it's a monthly series so releases are slow- I could see them doing another season when the manga finishes MAYBE???) Anyway- Servamp is a vampire manga published in a Shoujo magazine, however, despite the how it may look at first glance, I don't think anyone should be lumping this show into some title like "Tumblr Fangirl Fujoishi Bait" (I'm using this term because I'm mad that an anituber I like used it when talking about another vampire anime, Vanitas no Carte). Servamp DOES have an almost all male cast (the almost because the female characters don't appear until later or are side characters in the manga), but I truly feel like you could read this series and be able to enjoy it from a non-romantic relationship perspective, or at least a relationship without labels and just people who trust one another deeply.
Guess I should summarize now: This is a very trope heavy story in certain ways. Mahiru is a high schooler who just likes things "simple" and will repeat this theme throughout the story, but of course his simple life gets thrown out the window when he adopts a stray cat and names it, unaware that he has picked up a vampire, a SPECIAL type of vampire. Servamps are seven vampires all based off the seven deadly sins, and are essentially the "top" vampires or the origins of all other vampires (lesser ones are their subclasses), and are actually humanoid and only turn into their animal forms when in sunlight. Servamp stands for "Servant + Vampire", and this is because once they form a contract with a human, their "eve", they can drink their blood but have to obey their orders. In the story, this translates to Kuro, the Servamp of Sloth, being forced to help Mahiru with situations he would rather not deal with, such as a war between vampires when a mysterious 8th Servamp, Tsubaki, appears and starts causing chaos.
I may sound sarcastic, but I genuinely really like this series, so I feel like I can joke about it. What I've realized while re-reading the manga is that while the anime does rush through the plot (trying to cover as many things from each volume as it can) it seems like the anime chose to focus on the relationship between Kuro & Mahiru more than the mystery and fight with Tsubaki (which they knew in 12 episodes they couldn't cover/complete anyway since it was just starting). Kuro is the eldest Servamp and as you watch you learn he has the most sins on his shoulders, and his attitude of "it's too much of a pain" to get out of explaining anything to Mahiru or warning him about what he knows helps the story of course in that everything is a new surprise (like that there are people who can use magic in the world too, or that there is a neutral organization that has always existed between vampires and humans), but it also helps to build his character, acting as a wall he puts up to not face his past. And when I said this series is trope heavy, again do not take that as a negative. I always LOVE when I read a series and think "wow, this is such a common thing. I swear I've seen this EXACT story done before" but then realize I CANNOT think of what it may be copying, because the story I just read did everything perfectly/outdid any comparison. I don't know if it's in the anime or not, but Misono, the Eve of Lust, and his full character arc was perhaps my FAVORITE thing in the entire series.
Lastly, while Servamp doesn't stand out with it's paneling, as in its no CSM or WHA or HnK in making full use of it's panels to elevate its story into a higher art or something, the series does take advantage of its manga medium well. (I know this post is about anime but let me have this). And I think this is only something you will notice if you (obviously) read it and really are into it. The anime does a good job though adapting the unique art style of Strike Tanaka though, and I still love the ending theme and how all the Eves and Servamps dance, even if the animation isn't like Kekkai Sensen's ending, it's still charming and I go back and watch it to this day. Again, this is a vampire manga, but even though half the time there is one dude biting the other dude, it's not a focus of the series with close ups on characters like "reacting" to the bites or anything, so I think that's why the relationship with Kuro and Mahiru doesn't feel like it's being baited or anything. More often than not Kuro DOESN'T want to drink blood because it means he has to fight, which makes it a much easier read/watch than if you decided to put on something like Diabolik Lovers.
3. Barakamon
This is an anime that is SUPER close to my heart. I think the manga keeps going but this is a single cour anime that you can just consume and move on from, the story is wrapped up really nicely by the ending. I like to group this series into the category of “refreshing” or “healing” anime, and it’s definitely something to watch during the summer to get you into that mood of longing to live or move to an island (or just the Japanese countryside).
Barakamon is about a young calligrapher, Handa Seishu, who gets pissed about what the judge at the calligraphy competition said about his work and punched the guy. Due to the incident, his father forced Handa to move to a small village on a remote island in Japan so he could “cool his head”. While Handa is intent to do just that and focus on working on his next big calligraphy piece, he unfortunately has to deal with everyone on the island bothering him, on behalf of the fact that it is rare they get a “city boy” and also that all the children just find Handa the “cool adult” who is fun to tease. The series is mainly focused on Handa and his friendship with a child named Naru, who always is breaking into his house and then making him follow after her. Despite his initial annoyance, Handa ends up finding the inspiration he needs through his time on the island and the experiences he shares with all these characters.
This is a very relaxing series with comedic moments, but it is truly heartwarming and the music is AMAZING. The opening is still one of my top of all time, it actually helped me discover one of my favorite Japanese bands, and the ending is done in a beautiful watercolor animation style that compliments the emotion of the song so well. As a bonus, the children are voiced by actual children! (At least Naru is, I recall).
4. Natsume Yuujinchou/Natsume’s Book of Friends
Okay. So if you follow me you have seen me post about this anime. If Barakamon was an example of the “refreshing/healing” genre of anime then Natsume Yuujinchou is one of the poster children for it. If you like stories about yokai and Japanese folklore, this show has it. If you like stories where a kid has the ability to see said yokai/spirits and is orphaned and thus misunderstood and passed around through households and implied to have been abused/neglected until he finally ends up at the one place he can call home and must begin the slow healing process to learn to trust and let people help and care for him, then THIS IS THE SERIES FOR YOU.
I first heard about this series when it’s 6th season was airing. I believe I saw it listed in Anichart but because I hadn’t watched the other seasons yet, I ignored it. Then in school, a girl who found out I liked anime mentioned the title to me, but I didn’t recognize it. THEN, I watched the OVAs for The Ancient Magus Bride and saw the premiere of that anime in theaters, and sought out shows with a similar premise (character can see spirits and is orphaned, etc.) and saw Natsume Yuujinchou appear in the recommendations.
And now it is one of my favorite series of all time.
I basically summarized it before, lol. This is a very episodic “monster of the week” series following a high school boy, Natsume Takashi, who can see yokai and has lived his whole life tormented by them. He didn’t understand why until one day he discovers a notebook left behind by his grandmother, Natsume Reiko, which is full of names of yokai. Thus, Natsume discovers through the help of a lucky cat yokai, whose true form is a very powerful spirit, nicknamed Nyanko-Sensei, that Reiko took the names of all the yokai she beat and wrote them down, which would have given her power over all of them. Because she died without returning their names, all the yokai have been coming after Natsume mistaking HIM for his grandmother. The story focuses on each episode a new yokai comes to Natsume asking for their name back, or they enlist him in helping them on some task, like finding another spirit who they were separated from, or delivering a message to a human they loved. This is a series that I swear by as one that will “almost make you cry every episode, but never go far enough”. But that could have just been me- it certainly does feel less of a monster of the week anime when every episode you manage to connect with each new spirit to the point that you feel their sadness and anguish. This pain is doubled on episodes focused soley on Natsume’s past or how his foster parents, the Fujiwaras, came to learn about him, or how his friends managed to help him open up.
Like I said, as of right now, there are SIX seasons of this show. There are two movies, but only one is available to be found translated I think (thanks to wonderful people in this fandom). I’m certain with it’s popularity in Japan, and since the second film came out this year, it will probably get a seventh season or SOMETHING. Also, like Barakamon, this is a series that is known for it’s ending themes being animated in watercolor. Likewise, the music in this series is fantastic, but again, the main draw to me is the story of Natsume and just seeing him over the course of the show gain friends, learn to trust, and learn to not fear being sent away again or neglected anymore now that he lives with people who love him.
5. Mairimashita! Iruma-kun!/Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun!
Okay, this! So this is an anime with two seasons right now, and if it gets a third and fourth it will beat My Hero Academia’s Festival arc is all I will say about the manga. This is a show that at first glance you might have seen people say “oh it’s got Blue Deku”, but please believe me. Iruma is not just a copy of Deku from BNHA. He is a very well written character with his own struggles that are completely different from Deku.
This show is kind of an isekai? Only in technicality. The story follows Suzuki Iruma, Age 14 (fans of the series will realize I sound like I have the opening narration memorized from that). His entire life he was used by his parents to earn money, forced to do every odd job imaginable and barely in school or barely able to enjoy life. Despite this, he is a cheery, optimistic human who of course, is unable to say no. I say human because Iruma’s parents finally decide to just sell him to make money, and end up selling him to a demon, who instead of eating him or his soul, asks to adopt Iruma as his grandson so he can brag to his other older friends about him. Iruma accepts to escape the life and death situation and ends up enrolled in Babyls, the school that his grandfather is the chairman of. This series follows Iruma as he makes friends at school, learns how to just be a kid and that it’s okay to live and do what he wants (similar to Natsume but with a much more cheery filter over it, hiding the sad moments so your unsuspecting), and also the mystery about what happened to previous Demon King who went missing one day, and who is qualified to fill the throne (and isn’t there a mysterious legend about the next demon king coming from another world and making allies of everyone...?)
I joke about it being an isekai but it’s not really. It just is when you think about it, it falls into that category since Iruma does get “spirited away” in a sense. The real fun of this series is that no one can know Iruma is a human or they will eat him, and so he constantly must hide that, and as the series goes on we delve into more serious aspects of what being a human in the netherworld means, such as what the actually consequences would be if he was found out and returned to his world, and ideas that demons can be the most human, but sometimes humans can be the most evil or demon-like people of all. This is a series that is still relatively underground outside of Japan since it has not had an official English release yet and gets overshadowed heavily by BNHA, but DO NOT SLEEP ON IT. It is starting to rise quickly with season 2 finishing up it’s airing soon, and once it blows up I guarantee it will blow up.
Thank you for the ask! You can probably notice a trend across all my recommendations and see the type of stories I go for but I tried to recommend series that all have a different tone despite similarities, so I hope if you do check any of them out you find one you enjoy!

https://katzkinder.tumblr.com/post/659593497528123392/just-woke-up-from-a-dream-where-like-it-was-the Late response, I know… but I only just saw this post because my dash feed is never in what you’d call… chronological order😓
But I gots (*cue silly voice) vawy vawy intwested. (*silly voice is turned off now) Especially in the background description “It was the Servamp characters doing a magical escape room, and it was DEFINITELY dangerous and potentially deadly, full horror movie set up, and one of the prerequisites for doing the room is that even before you went there, it would return your body to the physical state at which you were going through the most emotional turmoil, because somehow it Knew™ that you planned to go.” When it describes their bodies returning to the state which they were going through the most emotional turmoil - this made me think of each Servamp’s personalized fears; like a combination from their human life traumas (whether they remember or not, and current life traumas blended together. & ok So like, don’t laugh, but do you know what the first thing to come to mind was when I was typing this out? The whole “being transported to a state of being where they have to escape a personified physical manifestation of their worst traumas and fears with the horror knob jacked up to maximum” yeah, when I was typing all that out - don’t laugh - but does anyone remember way back yonder to 2010ish watching a show on Nickelodeon called The Troop? Specifically what came to mind is the episode “The Wrath of Wraith”. The legend of the monster known as Wraith is what came to mind and this show was the first time I ever heard of it. If you don’t know, the wraith essentially is a demon/monster that, if you look at it, can trap you in your mind, physically paralyzing you in the real physical world, trapping you in an incredibly real hallucination of your worst anxieties, fears, traumas, whatevers, all that bad juju - and if you don’t break free of the hallucinations after so long, the amount of time varies depending on various depictions, then the wraith devours your mind and soul. That this is what came to mind when I was trying this out.
SO,
In a Servamps only scenario without their Eves, how would this play out do you think? Would they share fears hallucinations in a singular escape room because some of their traumas would be shared from when the Count/Creator brought them back to life against their will? Would these hallucinations be individual and more so related to the trauma ruminants of their human lives/deaths? Would it, like especially Hyde or Jeje be a manifestation of guilt and horrors from their lives as servamps? i.e. - Hyde’s trauma rewatching Ophelia on the chopping block on and endless loop… or if it’s a manifestation of their worst horrors- maybe Hyde’s hallucinations could be an endless loop of being in the crowd that day and then all of a sudden he’s up on the platform, he’s the executioner, but his movements aren’t his own, he can’t stop the blade from swinging down on her neck no matter how much he tries, and every time as this replays over and over and over, every time Ophelia is looking out at the crowd with a peaceful smile and in her last seconds turns her head to Lawless and says ‘I won’t forgive you’ (please excuse me while I go cry because that quote gives me too many Kyo Sohma and Kyoko Honda vibes) - and Jeje’s hallucinations could be a personified version of how much he thinks Mikuni and All of Love hate him, loathe him, for what his influence ultimately cost both Mikuni and Misono, his influence cost two children their mothers, two innocent children… he obviously hides his face out of something to do with shame so I can’t imagine how devo staying it would be for him to basically endlessly hear what he thinks his Eve Mikuni, his brother All of Love, and the innocent Misono all truly think of him - his perspective of what he thinks they think of him and it’s just a Jeje in a dark room hearing this thoughts in their voices on endless repeat, I can just see Jeje sitting on the floor and hugging his knees with his two top bags on the floor and the bottom bag that’s usually over his face… is practically ripped open due to all of his tears combined with the friction of Jeje vigorously shaking his head ‘no’ as his face is buried in the knees he’s hugging to his chest. ——— damn I can get dark. but that’s the kind of thing I can see a Wraithe trapping the Servamps in. How do you think it would play out for each based off of what we know about their pasts and can infer what traumas and hallucinations would affect them most? Without their eves there, who do you think would have the willpower to break free first and help their sibling break free? Oh God! Now that I said ‘without their eves there’ after giving those horrible hypotheticals of Hyde and Jeje’s possible hallucinations - my dark and demented brain thought, hey, what if the eves all teamed up to come get and save their eves but were all captured and forced to watch on a screen Clockwork Orange Style exactly what their Servamps are seeing hearing in their hallucinations and no matter how much each of the eves scream… desperately trying to reach them and tell their Servamps that what they’re seeing/hearing isn’t real (like the level of shit each servamp is seeing is even getting Licht and Mikuni frantic and hysterical)…their Servamps can’t hear them. Their Servamps don’t even know that their eves came for them. How do you think their horror story would play out???
I’ll end this rambling example of “I never know when to shut up” with a question… what the f is wrong with me? Why would I think of something so detailed and horrible befalling our prescious Servamp/Eve babies? I wuv them I just get very demented and dark sometimes… what the f is wrong with me?
Have a nice day
Anon I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you but I would be very very interested if you wrote a horror fic with this concept because what you talked about was delightfully chilling, A++
As for problems with your dash, I hope you don’t mind me trying to help you out a bit?
Okay so what you’re going to do is, if you’re on desktop, click on the little person icon in the uppermost right corner of your screen, then go to settings. You should see this to the right.
Click on the button that says Dashboard, and it should take you to this screen
See that button I have circled in red? If it’s blue, hit it, and it will turn that feature off, and then your dash will be in chronological order!
If you’re on mobile
Hit the little person at the bottom right of your phone screen that I’ve highlighted in red
Go to general settings at the top of the screen
Dashboard preferences next
Turn that little button of the devil off, and voila! Your dash is in proper order now!
I hope this helps you out, and I’m gonna go check out that show you linked; it sounds like fun! :D
Also, a very serious reminder to both you, anon, and anyone who might be reading this: there’s nothing wrong with putting the characters we love through painful situations. Maybe you were joking, maybe you were serious, but whatever the case, I promise you that that is normal!
So write out all the messed up, fucked up, horror show ideas that you want! Just be sure to send me a link so I can read, too >:3

My friend decided on Servamp as the new group watch the other day, and I actually really like it! But I do have to ask if the manga feels like as much of an acid trip as the anime because like fifteen different things happened back to back in half a second??
glad you like it!
I haven't touched servamp manga for a while now (or any other servamp stuff) but it has way better and slower pace than anime that had to get whole first few chapters arc squeezed into 12 episodes

Since I think I’ll be posting on here a fair bit here’s an introduction post :)
Hello everybody I’m Sebastian
I’m 16yo, massive nerd who just wants to talk about their own interests on the internet
My pronouns are They/He though I most often use He/Him (I have no real preference however)
Here I’ll probably stick to talking about my main interests being Power Rangers and Japanese Tokusatsu. As far as the topic is concerned I’ve loved power rangers since I started watching it and currently have seen every available episode (including all available Dino fury episodes at the moment). I got introduced to Japanese tokusatsu around the 5th grade and Kamen Rider and Super Sentai are my particular favorites.
On top of Tokusatsu I do enjoy plenty of other things. I absolutely adore comic books and superheroes. (If you’re wondering I have a preference for DC comics but for movies I stick with Marvel) I’ve seen all MCU films so far with the exception of Shang-Chi legend of the Ten Rings. I also soon plan on making a collection out of BOOM! Studio’s run of Power Rangers.
Another thing that often piques my interest is anime and manga. I’ve seen multiple anime and read a couple of manga. I’d have to say my favorite genre of anime so far is Mecha and my favorite anime is Gurren Lagann. My favorite Manga is Servamp at which I am currently on Vol. 13 so if you’ve seen or read more no spoilers please!
I have a particular knack for film and television, I’m considering posting movie and show reviews on here should I feel it fit and I have a large amount of films I would like to discuss. My favorite movies are Back to the Future III and Green Lantern. My favorite show that isn’t tokusatsu or power rangers is probably The Boys (to which I am eagerly awaiting season 3).
I like a lot of music (no real limit of genre on the most part). My favorite artist is Daryl Hall and John Oates and my favorite album at the moment is Breakfast in America by Supertramp. I do have a Spotify with multiple public playlists and I do take song suggestions at any time!
Lastly I love love love video games. Ever since my first console, the Wii, I’ve been playing video games throughout my life. My newest console is my Nintendo Switch Lite and my oldest is my Sega Dreamcast (which also happens to be my favorite). I play a range of different games but my favorite genres are fighting games and 3D platformers. Some of my favorite games at the moment are Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Digimon Story Cybersleuth.
I look forward to using this blog a decent amount in the future and hope I can share some of my favorite things with you guys through this platform. (:

I just watched the first episode of Servamp and really enjoyed it and am looking forward to seeing more of it. Mahiru is a precious baby who deserves all the world and he made me so soft throughout the first half of the episode. And I was right in thinking Kuro is my kind of guy. I don’t know whether he’ll be my absolute fave yet but I’ve been liking him so far. Also, I understand why you like the ending. I’ll probably look up the full version at some point later.
C
Okay, but you have NO idea just how excited I got reading this, how much I squealed and happy danced! I had no idea you were starting it and I am just so happy someone decided to give it a shot and especially so that you are enjoying it so far! I will always want to hear any more opinions you have on it as you go along because I really do love the series. I agree with you so much on Mahiru. He is adorable and wonderful and just has such strong 'that's my precious son' energy to me. And I had known you would thoroughly enjoy Kuro and I find it fun that you were able to call that too. Have you discovered any other characters you really like yet? Or any you have any strong opinions on? And you know I gotta ask - what do you think on my fave? And yep, both the opening and ending songs for Servamp really are great. Drastically different energies and vibes, polar opposites actually, but I kind of also love that fact.

Please do more blackcat!Kuro!❤️ It’s like reading a fanfic I really want to know what happens next! How did he know Mahiru’s name? Are they still Servamp or full on regular vampires?
Hey anon! I don’t have any drawings for you this time but I did continue on a little from that last time! I’m glad you asked for more, I’m having a lot of fun adding to this AU!
Hope you enjoy~
(And thanks for the idea @thesilenceislost !♡)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
While Mahiru was waiting for his eyes to adjust to the gloom of the cave he found that sometime between his kidnapping and now he had acquired a fair amount of leaves and dust in his hair. Shaking it out, he was caught off guard by the hand that landed on his shoulder.
"What do you think?"
The voice was soft and lyrical, but still rough at the edges in a way that Mahiru couldn't quite describe, as though it were from a fantasy, something half remembered and more imaginary than physical. He glanced back to meet two glowing eyes, grinning happily at him through the shadows.
"Of what?" Rather than answer, Kuro flung his arms wide, indicating the small enclosure. Taking that as his only answer, Mahiru sighed. "Is this where you live?" It had been a sarcastic question, not meant seriously but only to annoy, and when Kuro nodded he felt his mouth drop open.
In the settling gloom, made all the more pervasive by the quarter moon, Mahiru began to worry he was having an episode; his new friend still had a wild mix of hair tones, strange, loosely buttoned pin striped suit, and questionable circles under his eyes, but here, shrouded in shadow and that ethereal feeling one always got from deep forests, Mahiru was forced to admit that he was seeing horns. Incorporeal and flickering, like cotton candy light, they were twisted, hovering somewhere above the jet black eyebrows that arched so playfully and ending in jaunty curls above his head.
Despite everything Mahiru found he had to stop himself from reaching out to try to touch them, so interested to see if they were real or not he was. Almost literally holding his arm back, he took a final, hasty look around them. His eyes having finally acclimated he could now see that the walls were lined in old style, dripping candles, some ensconced, others jammed into Victorian chandeliers, and most, just simply stuck to the rough rock with their own melted wax. There didn't seem to be much of anything else here and once again Mahiru was struck with the deja vu feeling of a bad prank.
"It's different." He finally said, too late, wondering if his lackluster answer would anger Kuro. He chanced a peek up and almost laughed when he saw Kuro's lips twisted into an ecstatic grin, eyes bright.
"Isn't it?" Kuro threw an appreciative glance around as well before leaning forward. "Now what?"
"N-now what?" Mahiru repeated in confusion, stumbling over his words in worry. "What do you mean?”
Kuro frowned momentarily before sighing. "I mean now what, now what! I've brought you here."
"Yes...." Mahiru agreed, trailing off. "But I'm not sure why."
"You aren't?" Kuro looked affronted and took a swift step forward but when Mahiru flinched back, a thought seemed to pass through his mind and he paused. "Ah, this isn't how you would normally do this, is it? I told you," He said flippantly, tossing a hand cavalierly around, "I don't quite understand, you're going to have to tell me."
"Tell you what?"
"What is 'appropriate'!" He exclaimed, smiling maniacally.
"You really have an obsession with that word, don't you." Mahiru muttered tiredly.
When Kuro only continued to smile at him he felt his shoulders slump in defeat and fell to the ground, crossing his legs and leaning back on his hands. "Let me guess. I'm stuck here, aren't I?"
Kuro dropped down, mirroring his posture, and shrugged. "Depends on your definition of stuck, doesn't it?"
"Oh, now you know what words mean?" Mahiru demanded, glaring for a second before deflating. "Right, so. I guess first things first. That's simplest." He paused, eyeing the horns still wavering in and out of existence. "Are those real?"
Kuro quirked a brow before glancing up through the tangle of bangs over his forehead. "Of course."
"Mhm." Mahiru murmured neutrally. "And if I tried to touch them what would happen?"
The question seemed to stump Kuro for a moment and he stared off into middle space as he thought it through; Mahiru could almost see him rolling the words around in his head like bread dough. When his eyes finally focused again there was a touch of amusement lacing through them. "Why don't you try it?"
"Pass." Mahiru said flatly. He bit his lip, trying to decide what the best way to find out their actual location would be and was floored to realize he had somehow completely blocked out the trip here. The inhuman speed that had so frightened him had almost immediately filtered out of his conscious thoughts and now, trying to remember, he found that it was a blurry guess at best. "Did... how do you move so quickly?" He finally asked, coming to the conclusion that subterfuge just wasn't his style.
"Fast?" Kuro cocked his head, pupils reflecting the flickering mellow glow of the candles (that were.... suddenly lit??). "I just ran. You can run, can't you?"
Mahiru threw him a halfhearted glare. "Sure, but not like that. I did do track though." He paused, wondering why he had bothered with that last little detail; surely a man like this, so strange and inhuman would find knowledge of his life bori-
"What is track?" Kuro asked excitedly, leaning forward.
A small, fleeting grin flew over Mahiru's lips and he gave up; really, what else could he do right now? "It's a sport. Like in school?" At the only slightly less puzzled look he got in return he continued. "A bunch of people practice running as fast as they can and then there are meetings where you compete with other teams."
"I see." Kuro nodded once and then glanced over his shoulder, almost worriedly.
"So what is your plan exactly?"
"My plan?"
"Yes. Like, now what? Are we just going to stay in this cave forever? I have to get home at some point, you know."
Kuro smiled widely, leaning still farther forward, now almost in Mahiru's lap. "You don't have to do anything you don't want to! I can make sure of that!" He looked as though he had just won some argument and Mahiru almost laughed.
"But I want to go home."
"You do?" He stared at him blankly, frowning softly. "Are you sure? I can make anything a reality! I can give you anything you want~" He reached out, blindingly fast, and curled his fingers through Mahiru's hair, giving a gentle tug that had shivers racing down Mahiru's spine. "I have the power to do anything you want."
Trying to ignore the aftershocks still tickling his skin, Mahiru raised a brow. "What makes you think I want you to?"
"Everyone wants something." Kuro whispered before darting smoothly forward. He froze just an inch from Mahiru's neck, his lips resting softly against the quick, warm, pulse. "And all I need in exchange is a little something from you."
His voice was like melted caramel, leaking in and filling Mahiru's ears with images of rich luxury, power, and freedom, and beneath it all, a dark destruction. He shook himself, pulling back in fright and slapping a hand over his neck. "No! I don't want that."
"'That' what?" Kuro purred, unperturbed by Mahiru's denial. "What did you see?"
They stared at each other in silence as the moon rose ever higher and somewhere, far away, a small owl hooted it's displeasure. The sound was like a buzzer and Mahiru shot up, his legs numb from the crossed position. After a frantic look around, finding nothing to defend himself with, and no exit other than the one directly behind Kuro, he stepped back, farther into the deep recesses of the cave, feeling the cooler air from beneath the Earth wafting around his ankles.
He shook his head mutely, searching for his voice, finally finding it hidden below his lungs. "No." He croaked. Another step back. "I just want to go back home, finish school, get a good job. Help people."
Kuro smiled wickedly, flowing to his feet and advancing in time with Mahiru's retreat. "Help people? What's the use in that? Everyone just makes a mess of their life and then cries in the end. Why not just bring the end they wish for much sooner? Surprises are always better than slow anticipation. Like a present~" He was naught but a foot away now, reaching out again, and Mahiru panicked, flubbing his step and almost falling. Kuro's eyes, so crescent-ed in mean delight, widened comically and seemingly without thought he flew forward, catching Mahiru easily, holding his above the ground, clutched securely to his chest.
Glancing up warily, Mahiru found crystal sky eyes staring right back at him, still open in surprise. Manners reared their ugly head, strengthened by reflex and he breathed a windy laugh. "T-thanks...."
Kuro didn't react for a moment, still just watching. After a heart stopping pause he released his hold and Mahiru tumbled down to his feet, unsteady and tipping a second time. As he caught himself, Kuro put his hands on his hips, frowning.
"Why did I do that?"
"Do what?" Mahiru blurted out, still too off kilter from his fright to think better of it.
Without answering Kuro just shot him one more strange, questioning look before turning and sauntering to the far wall where Mahiru could now see there was a small chest of drawers. Propped lopsidedly on top of it was what appeared to be a full skeleton and he cut his eyes away in surprise. At the rummaging sounds now emanating from the far side, he took a deep breath, willing his heart to calm.
"What are you doing?" He asked, mentally throwing his hands up. Fuck it, right? What else could he do but keep this strange man talking?
"Packing!" Kuro exclaimed happily, tossing several small, withered looking husks over his shoulder. "I can't just leave everything here while I'm away."
"Er, sorry... while you're away?" Mahiru watched the objects hit the floor only to skitter away of their own accord and swallowed loudly. "Where are you going?"
Kuro turned, looking at him in amused perplexity. "You wanted to go home, didn't you?" Before Mahiru could answer he had darted back to his side, placing both hands on either sides of Mahiru's head and forcing it to tilt awkwardly. "Like I said, anything you want. But in exchange for just one-" he leaned forward, "little-" he pressed those glistening pearlescent fangs to Mahiru's flesh, "thing-" and bit down.
As the pressure exploded, traveling up through his veins and into his mind, Mahiru watched stars of light bloom across his vision, marveling at the warmth now filling his chest. It was a heady sensation, like hot chocolate laced with morphine and he almost fell, held up now only by Kuro's arms which had wrapped around his shoulders and pulled him in. He couldn't even find it in himself to be worried about the amount of blood Kuro seemed to be taking, too entranced by the fire in his mind. After a few moments, or what may have been eternity, Kuro threw his head back, eyes melting to a heavy red, glazed and unfocused, and Mahiru let his tensed muscles go lax, forehead thumping roughly against Kuro's chest.
Voice syrupy thick and filled with shining marvel, Kuro tightened his hold, squeezing Mahiru too tightly for the barest second. "And with that, I'm yours."
