The Narrator's Library, The Tatami Galaxy:

In the penultimate episode of Tatami Galaxy, the unnamed narrator/protagonist "Watashi" gets trapped in an endless repeat of his student 4½ Tatami room. Opening the window or the door just lands him in another identical version of his apartment. However, after exploring room after room, he realises that the content of his bookshelf changes a little on each iteration. Each bookshelf contains the books the narrator has bought over the past two years, but some of these narrators have lived very different lives, and as such read different books.

This library potentially contains every book he would ever want to read, and may serve as a self-portrait, but it's also just a mouldy IKEA bookshelf repeated times infinity. But as those versions of himself may have led wildly different lives over the past two years, and all of them including him are self-hating failures, will he like any of them?

It is the single most comprehensive resource of magical information in the world and even contains books on things that everyone thought didn’t really exist or things that everyone thought had gone extinct or were long forgotten. If you have a magic question you will find a book that contains the answer here (also a few books that will swallow you and make you take part in the narrative or that will spit out people that cause problems (although this is normally bc a student was messing around)). Oh except for time travel. It has shit resources on time travel. You could find more information googling in the early 2000s :)

Rigsarkivet aka The Danish National Archives, The Pyrus Series:

Real world archives might be a bit dry and dusty, but Ri(g)sarkivet is in this case the one from the Danish Christmas Calendar tv shows collectively known as the Pyrus series. The archive itself holds a collection of books and other items from Danish history, but what sets this archive apart is the staff - the human staff, of course, is quite competent, but the archive is also home and workplace for a small group of nisser - Christmas elves - including the respectable archivist Gyldengrød and his rascal of an apprentice Pyrus. In their work of studying Danish history and history more generally (and saving Christmas every second year for a while in the 90s) they routinely employ magic - magic allowing them to jump into books and thus experience both historical events and works of fiction (and the odd computer game) from the inside; and magic to draw people out of the books. If you want to go visit vikings at their Yule feast or a medieval Lucia dance, or if you want to have a chat with Hans Christian Andersen himself? This is the place for you. Despite its appalling lack of rice. The Library, Oneshot (2016 RPG by Nightmargin et al):

One of the last strongholds of society and a safe haven as the world begins collapsing into itself, the Library is located in the aptly-named Refuge within the world of Oneshot. Here, the player learns more about the mysterious Author, whose works have been dogging the entire playthrough and are crucial to understand in order to finish the game. Player meets George here, the enigmatic head librarian with a dice for a head who has six distinct personalities, one of which will be encountered depending on RNG. George will translate the Author's books, lending the knowledge needed to progress the plot.

Later on, various dwellers of the Refuge (shopkeepers, children, vendors, and more) will, as it says on the tin, take refuge in the Library when their city begins to be unhabitable as they wait for the fate of the world to unfold.

the theme is just lovely, and sena has been my favorite character since the beginning. it's a very cute song, and this is one of my fav mogelatte coloring styles, i admire her a lot. it's lovely and heartwarming <33

coming in at a close second is a song without a video, hadashi no cinderella

sung by riinu, it's fuuma's second solo song for the dolce album and it is. so good. the way it starts with the music box and then the electric guitar comes in is SO GOOD it's like. the exact vibes of a horror rpg maker game (my favorite in the world), and then it also has a fairytale theme. about the singer, the fairy godmother falling in love and eloping with cinderella. and then it has the extra reading of fuuma's childhood friend (who is canonically in love with him) is named after cinderella too. there is a lot to unpack in it, and i love it. and have i mentioned it's sung by riinu. i love riinu. it's just a very mecore song

- The Lost Boys (movie): two brothers and their mother move to a beach town that is super infested with 80s biker vampires. no(?) cws really? i mean its kind of a horror movie by virtue of vampires but its not like super violent or anything. its kinda just campy

- Bang Bang You’re Dead (movie): following a student making a false bomb threat, a theater teacher decides to cast him in a play about a school shooting, much to the disdain of the rest of the community. its basically about a kid escaping the mentality of violence through theater and it made me cry. cws for an (attempted) school shooting, uh, you know. that kinda shit. but this one has a happy ending actually i promise

- Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (movie): BARELY a plot. its like a bunch of 1960s french people falling in love surrounding a music festival? its mostly just pretty looking. its also a musical. no cws! that i can remember at least

- Beryl and Sapphire (donghua): a series of alternate universe vignettes of the characters beryl and sapphire! sometimes theyre boys, sometimes theyre girls, sometimes theyre rivals, but theyre mostly in love with each other :) some of the episodes are angsty/have death but its mostly lighthearted!

- HOPEUROKAY (music): a duo of two trans people makin cool electronic music! electropop i guess?? digicore?? genres are fake but their music fucks. and they have like 500 monthly listeners. fave songs: ghostinthecorner, day 400, insight, pink ps2

- Gezebelle Gaburgably (music): do you LOVE electronic incelcore? do you wish that it was made by a woman so you felt less bad for liking it? boy do i have the gal for you. fave songs: quarter pounder, death by dodgeball, heads up, sanrio girl

- Fairy Idol Kanon (manga): a kids manga about three girls on their journey to become idols with the help of a fairy princess! meanwhile, they must also use the power of song to save the fairy realm from the dark faires!

- What Happens Next (webcomic): a trans guy who was an accessory to murder as a teenager has to navigate the rest of his life. follows both him and the other affected parties, through the lens of modern day internet culture. cws for WHOOH BOY. (child) death, gore, trauma, transphobia, abuse, ableism, self harm. like everything basically. but the comic also provides cws itself

- SoraMafuUraSaka (music): a four person utaite group made of soraru, mafumafu, uratanuki, and tonari no sakata! they make yearly videogame themed songs together, as well as each being just like. independent artists in their own right. if you've seen the rpg animation meme, that songs by them! my personal fave of theirs is noryoku hikitsugi de otome game no sekai ni tenseishitaken ni tsuite, though i also like their most recent one (jinsei muri game)!

- A Favor House Atlantic by Coheed and Cambria: so this is off of a concept album, apparently, which i haven't actually fully listened to, so i dunno what this song's actually about, but it IS really good. it's got that high-pitched male pop punk vocals (esp on the line "good eye sniper") and it reminds me of vrisrezi like a lot

Rpg Anon: I would request Mahiru to sing Dazzling Smile from the P4G Animation because I say she's Marie if we compare the dr2 cast to p4, but the song lyrics have some morbid undertones. I doubt Mahiru feels betrayed by the person she loved the most and, the next she sees them, wants to "dye their smile red" (kill them). Saiki Kusuo No Psi Nan (JP: 斉木楠雄のΨ難, ENG: The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., Abbreviations: 斉Ψ, SaiPsi) is a multimedia franchise that has started as a manga drawn and written by Asou Shuuichi.

The manga started as a one shot work, but since its release in 2012 it has recieved a serialization that ended in 2018. In 2013 is has recieved a Flash anime adaptation that was exclusive to Shonen Jump's mobile app, as well as a series of Vomics that dubbed the manga. The series recieved two novels written by Hinata Shou and illustrated by Asou-sensei. It's currently best known outside Japan for its 2016 anime adaptation.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the next season of the anime coming? - There won't be one. Unless the studio decides to adapt the novels, which is unlikely, they don't have enough source material left to make a full season out of it.

Will Saiki get more manga chapters? - The manga finished in 2018. It's unlikely for Asou-sensei to continue this project after concluding it.

Is Kusuo transgender? - He's a shapeshifter who turns into Kusuko when he needs to or gains from it. It's only technically canon as he left the womb as a girl, but it's only a result of his shapeshifting powers. He immediately changes to male - the gender was assigned before birth. If you want to headcanon him as transgender though- go ahead.

Is Kusuo aroace? - Canonically no, but it's a popular headcanon.
