Wasteland creek wip

I’ve always been a sucker for wasteland and apocalyptic aesthetics, maybe it just comes with being Australian /j anyway wanted to share this wip, I haven’t been drawing much so,,

Tweek has mud smudged as war paint plus his goggles keep sand and dirt out of his eyes andddd act as sunglasses because the guy is probably crazily light sensitive (me too) he also has a armoured heavy vest on because it hugs his body tight while keeping his arms free, like wearing a weighted blanket, he also has metal spikes on his gloves so if he finds himself unarmed he can just,, beat people

Craig has a toothpick it’s not a smoke btw, not much on his outfit but he’s wearing a sleeveless vest coat thing,, his helmet though I love, it’s just a army helmet but he has painted it and yes there’s a little stripe painted on it, I may add more tears and stitches into clothing, ehhh I’ll work it out,

Not sure if I’ll draw any of the other boys in a wasteland au but if enough people like this post I may, and I say boys because.. I cannot draw girls 😔

Plus 2 out of the 15 sketch phase wips… I sketch for a whileeeeee before moving on (sometimes I don’t even get as far as a solid sketch)

Post Apocalyptic AU

Me and Ogata mainly traverse the wasteland alone together. Occasionally joining a faction temporarily if it benefits us. Otherwise it’s just us and the vast wasteland. Ogata is the main sniper of us two of course, though he has taught me to use it along with other firearms in the event of us being chased. I’m still his nurse, as he continues to worry me by putting himself in harms way for the sake of protecting me.

Together we scout for threats and resources in this fractured world. Working together and protecting each other. Even with the chaos, we have our moments of peace where we get to gaze at the stars at night together or when we’re surrounded by hydrangeas in our favorite abandoned shrine.

Ogata tends to tease me for finding cute things in the wasteland, and how I collect small relics. Although he does that, Ogata would surprise me with little things that he finds. Like a little charm, an old ring, and wildflowers.

Having each other makes it worth living in this chaotic world.

It’s been a while since I wrote wasteland au. Though I have a lot in my drafts, I just haven’t posted it. Instead here is me rambling about it during my break.

Ingo's reference is coming soon enough but here are some information about these designs// -Shiny Joltiks can survive radioactivity, as their 'shiny' forms are well adapted to the atmosphere more then the regular Joltiks. -Emmet usually fixes Ingo's prosthetics whenever they break down all of a sudden -Emmet is around 6'4 with his prosthetics, while Ingo is 6'5. -He knows his way around, and he also has a hand-made bow with gears and metal pipes he finds around the waste land of Nimbasa City. -Both Ingo and Emmet still tries to protect the gear station and keep on hoping the train will work and they can escape safely. -The pink/Yellow liquid is magma (which to the human touch, it is fine to touch, just not for long.)

Wasteland High School AU where The Listening Lady (The Listening Girl(??)) is a cheerleader and prom queen and Johnny, her bf, is a juvenile delinquent who has an after school job (that they hate) at an Italian restaurant.

These are goofy but I think they still have charm. I love the little milkshake-drinking gesture I’ve given TLL & her big fat braids in the second pic!

I drew these in the laundromat in Japan in 2018 (I cannot believe that is 5 years ago)

Eh, let us be real; Terry Silver undoubtedly causes this figurative zombie apocalypse you speak of once his ventures with Dynatox go too far, resulting in an environmental disaster of near nuclear degrees, but he still manages to profit off of the situation by either not being affected at all and bringing in an unimaginable sort of monetary revenue nonetheless, as is usually the case with Billionaires, or becoming a goddamn near Mad Max type of wasteland Warlord with his pretty (collared?) beloved paramour by his side, or whatever the heck is going on here;

Just some small snippets of their journey together thus far. I've been thinking of writing a bunch of notes or maybe short stories to keep their story linear. I haven't written in a good while! This might be good practice to start up again :D

Having tons of AU thoughts recently.

I think Latula would've started her own society that isn't affiliated with any of the existing factions of the Beforan Wasteland. It's her own version of Followers of the Apocalypse. I think it fits.

Her title Neophyte Redglare would be passed around throughout but never her real name. I think it'd be a badass idea...

Porrim as per illustrated relating to this AU is now a mechanic.. I think it fits her? But I'll have to think about it more

Cronus is a mercenary, a slightly bad one but does his job decently enough for people to keep hiring him...

Yeah, I wanted to give Breezie a way less mad max/cleaner look than the others due to the fact that she would even in a post-apocalyptic world still have all the luxuries she deserves. The hair change was just a little something to make her different from her base design.

More Wasteland AU Zombies!!

Henmi the Masochistic Zombie

Who has a high pain tolerance due to his masochistic ways. He would be covered in scars and takes very little damage from physical attacks. He has an unsettling smile as he gets hit. In fact, he doesn’t weaken when hit, he gets stronger. He requires the type of hit that would incapacitate him in one shot to defeat him. Otherwise, he would dismember his limbs and attack with them.

Boutarou the Waterlogged Zombie

Boutarou would be a zombie whose long hair is entangles with types of seaweed that has grown out of him. He has a grotesque greenish hue like ooze that is corrosive. It can breakdown objects and cause burns in survivors. He often lurks in shallow bodies of water. Blending in with the muddy water as we awaits for survivors.

Nihei the Predatory Zombie

Nihei as a zombie would be a muscular but gaunt zombie from hunting. Skin grey ish and green, almost camouflaged. Perfect for blending into the dust and debris of the wasteland. Just as he used to wear the fur of his hunts in his human form, he wears the bones and flesh of the survivors he has killed. He has heightened sense and an ability to track. Just as he was in his human form. He would have sharp claw like hands just like the game he used to hunt. He will only consider strong or skilled survivors to be suitable to be his prey.

I’m hoping that I find the right artist to draw these zombies along with me and Ogata encountering them. I love TLoU and RE. So I’m getting a bit into this.

ALSO I’m almost done with me and Ogata’s website. Though I wish I could compress it better and still have all our side stories.
