this is a concept doodle of Warblerfoot (he/him), a warrior of SkyClan. I don’t have much going for him other than him being a relative to Oriolestar, possibly their brother :0

and last but not least, a concept storyboard regarding Waspbite (pounced on cat in second to last image, round cat in last image, she/her) and Jaythroat (pouncing cat in second to last, sharp cat in last, they/them) and the song Owls by The Dear Hunter. this is kinda like,, a jay hunting a mouse representing them chasing and playing with each other, somewhat meant to represent how Waspbite helps Jaythroat find their confidence!

here’s the second sketchbook batch!

this is actually three different doodles, the top right one is basically a representation of Waspbite (rounded angry cat, she/her) and Jaythroat (spiky nervous cat, they/them)‘a relationship! then there’s Vanny in the style of a rockafire explosion animatronic! then Lincoln Lynx (they/them), one of my animatronic ocs I have for a weirdcore series I plan on making at some point in the future!

so for Casting Shadows there is a part I plan on having where a group of cats go to visit the Tribe. after it was found out that Rabbitheart (she/her) was meeting with Frecklefang (she/her) for info on RiverClan’s plans, rumors started spreading that they were mates. during the journey to the tribe, Finchsneeze (flirty cat, they/them), a SkyClan cat, started teasing Rabbitheart (frustrated cat) about it while Frecklefang (short cat) listened, flustered. they aren’t actually mates at the point but it is something they’ve talked about

I have a pirate ship server on Minecraft w some friends and I have two cats so I drew them :]

I drew some birds in a class I don’t like KENEIJRUD did you know that kiwis nostrils are ay the bottoms of their beaks? it helps them smell for food!

some concept art of Leafbreeze (he/him) and Honeygrass (she/her)c they’re siblings in WindClan that are heavily religious and are meant to represent a priest and a nun. I’m considering making Honeygrass a medicine cat instead of Leafbreeze but aren’t sure yet!

Okay so to lighten things up from ppl accidentally being a bit pushy on design ideas here's something fun

What's your favourite Little Thing about each hermitcat design that you're particularly proud of?

OOO YEAAYAYAYA I LOVE TALKING ABOUT MY DESIGNS!!

Ok going in order of the allegiance page:

Voidstar(X): I added the sparse grey freckles so that it looked like the little particles and static that you see in the void

Hillsong(Joe): the longer scruff fur and darker colour is supposed to resemble his longer hair falling over his shoulders

Bearcreek(Cub): He's got a stubby tail and small ears to resemble more of a bear and give his parents reason to name him Bearkit

Aspenwool(Zed): even though he's my favourite hermit, I didn't make any clever design choices with him aside from having 6 inches of fluff on him

Canopystorm(Doc): His long fur is supposed to resemble a goat's! Also the markings on his chin are supposed to resemble his beard

Shadedsoil(Hypno): He has a couple of long tufts of fur on the back of his neck that's supposed to look like the ends of a bandana

Snowmask(Etho): the markings along his forehead are supposed to indicate his headband

Wolfshadow(Ren): The mask of darker fur on his eyes are supposed to resemble his glasses. Also, his fur is actually pulled up into a ponytail at the back

Shrubfur(Bdubs): He's modeled after a munchkin cat and the fur along his back is supposed to look like a big mohawk

Spiritblossom(Cleo): Her fur is long and curly enough to hide a lot of her scars

Doespot(Gem): I just love her little fawn spots on her back :)))

Bravesky(Wels): His tail is supposed to be the plume of his helmet

Marshtail(Jevin): round :)

Cattlehunt(Beef): Make him look like a brown cow :) Also his white chest is supposed to be like the apron

Mossfrost(Iskall): I had nothing to work off of other than iskall meaning ice cold so he's based off of Hawkfrost instead

Waspbite(False): pushing the bee theme because of her bee on her beans shop instead of going for the eagle imagery! I thought it was a lot more cleaver and made her more intimidating with her name. I'm really proud of her name you don't understand--

Redflash(Mumbo): the red spot on his chest looking like his tie

Barkscar(Scar): He's got a spot of orange, just like Jellie has a spot of orange on her! (but she's self conscious about it)

Littlewing(Grian): his tail is supposed to resemble a wing!

Petalrush(Stress): I drew her fur so that it would look like flower petals

Sunstrike(impulse): His tail looks like an i also his beard in the darker patch of fur on his face

Quickblaze(Tango): His snaggle tooth to resemble the way I draw him normally, and his short tail to also resemble how I interpret his hair

Moonleap(Pearl): I wanted her cheek fur to look kinda like the long bits of hair on the front of her skin

Pinefall(Keralis): The markings around his eyes are supposed to make them look bigger than they actually are (which is already big)

Sleekscale(xB): I mildly modeled his fur after a portuguese waterdog. Supposed to look fuffly up front with a pompom tail but a sleek body for swimming

Bouldertooth: big eyebrows to almost cover his eyes up

I would talk about the cats outside the clans as well but this is already long as hell

What's your favorite Hermitclan name, either inside or outside of the clan?

It's so hard to choose!!! I thought so long and hard about all of them like full on wracked my brain, thought about it during work levels of obsessed.

I think my favourites are Bravesky (just based on how long it took to get his name right), Waspbite, Littlewing, Redflash, Aspenwool, Sunstrike, and Voidstep for Voidstar's warrior name.

And of course Bean and Lady Liz are some of my favs as well

I would love to hear how you came up with some of the names (or all of them 👀) if you wanted to talk about it perhaps 👀👀👀

Also I think waspbite is very fitting for False! I really like the wasp theme more than the eagle theme (not that eagle theme is bad!). The bee theme fits nicely with her colors, and makes her sound more intimidating!

Ok so:

Voidstar/Voidstep(X): from Xisumavoid and I wanted to make his paws large. So Voidstep.

Hillsong(Joe): from Joe Hills and the fact that he makes music in a way

Bearcreek(Cub): wanted a tie in to Cub so I went with the Bear prefix and added creek because it sounded nice and he's very chill sounding and controlled.

Aspenwool(Zed): aspen because aspen trees have bright yellow leaves in fall and wool because sheep. Took a while for me to cave in on using wool.

Canopystorm(Doc): his original name was going to be Scarletstorm because I wanted to use the prefix Scarlet, but there was no reason I could think of that his parents would name him Scarletkit at birth with the way he looked so I landed on Canopy because he could look like a tree canopy on a rainy day.

Shadedsoil(Hypno): Know nothing about this man. He's part of podzol party so I made shaded the prefix to go with his black back and soil because of the podzol

Snowmask(Etho): Snow because Canadian and has white hair and mask because of his black fur covering his muzzle and chest

Wolfshadow(Ren): wolf cuz dog and shadow because of his little thing that he had with Martyn in Last Life.

Shrubfur(Bdubs): he's tiny, he needed a name that exemplified that. Also because of his moss cloak

Spiritblossom(Cleo): Blossom from her coat and spirit to call back to the zombie part of her name

Doespot(Gem): Doe for her deer connections and spot for her spotted back

Bravesky(Wels): A bitch and a half of brainstorming during work. Many scraped concepts and names. Try Bravefeather, Braveclaw, Cardinaltail, Skyheart, Bravepeak, Eaglepeak, and Mountainsky. One of my friends finally slapped Bravesky together

Marshtail(Jevin): slimes live in swamps/marshes

Cattlehunt(Beef): Also a very hard one. Didn't want to use cow so I landed on using Cattle instead. Hunt for the butcher effect.

Mossfrost(Iskall): moss to try to get some green imagery in there and frost because Iskall

Waspbite(False): Again a hard one. I played with the Eagle thing for a bit with Swifteagle, Eagletalon, and Eaglecall, but I remembered her shop and wanted to use wasp because wasps are bastards

Redflash(mumbo): I wanted him to have a redstone adjacent name so I figured Redflash would work for the way an observer has a flashing red light.

Barkscar(Scar): terraforming and tree building with his name tacked to the end

Littlewing(Grian): small and associated with flying

Petalrush(Stress): I know in season 7 she had that big fairy forest thing and I chose rush because I wanted her to seem really fast and quick witted

Sunstrike(Impulse): agonized over this as well. I wanted him to have the prefix Sun because of being a bright and positive force. So Sunshine, Sunheart, Sunglare??? I landed on strike because I didn't want him to seem like a pushover. He can kill you if he wanted to. He won't but he could.

Quickblaze(Tango): I wanted him to seem very energetic and add that fire motif that we love giving him. I tried a bit putting Blaze in front but landed on Quickblaze

Moonleap(Pearl): I wanted moon in there and tried things like Silvermoon, Moongleam, etc, but I wanted her name to have energy. So, Moonleap.

Pinefall(Keralis): didn't have a lot to go off of. I wanted to reference his lumbering with it so I tried out Timbertalon, Splinterclaw, and Timberfall and that lead me to Pinefall.

Sleekscale(xB): I wanted his name to be connected to the water. tried out different fishy thing like trout, minnow, and pike but landed on Sleekscale after I sketched his design out

Bouldertooth(TFC): rock related something and tooth because I wanted his teeth to stick out
