I haven’t done a lot of world building, but the main characters are a knight named lady ira, an apothecary lady named flora (they’re in lesbians with each other), the bastard prince of the kingdom named ancel and once thief and outlaw but now reformed boy named lowen

✨ THE PLOT ✨

ancel is the youngest prince of the kingdom and also a bastard, the only reason why the king keeps him around is because ancel is the only one of the royal kids who’s adept at magic! this means the royal kids, the queen’s children, really despise him and constantly try to get rid of him (kidnapping/assassins)

Thanks to this, he is often assigned a body guard (babysitter) as a way to protect him of his half siblings and also cause ancel is a menace when it comes to magic and can’t really control it very well, so the guard is also to protect the general public from him lmao

Lady Ira used to be a high ranking knight until she fucked up and was demoted and assigned as ancel’s bodyguard, which she resents as first since she feels her talents are being wasted looking after the king’s bastard

She gets attached cause obviously lmao imagine the “old grumpy man gets attached and adopts a little girl” trope but it’s a lesbian and a little boy lmao

Lady Ira eventually meets Flora thanks to shenanigans involving ancel being poisoned, flora being an apothecary is able to save the boy’s life

Lady ira notices that flora has an X scar on her mouth, turns out flora is cursed! The scar prevents her from speaking, if she speaks the X scar opens up as a wound causing her unbearable pain, it closes back when she keeps silent (clearly someone didn’t want her to speak hehe)

Lady ira offers to help her find a cure for her curse as a way to thank her for saving ancel

So flora + lady ira go on a journey to find someone who can counter the curse, lady ira leaves ancel under the care of one of her trusted knight besties, but the kid is like chaos incarnate and escapes to join up with them since he also wants to help flora out

Lowen gets dragged into all of this, since like, he used to be a thief and a wanted man until lady ira pleaded for him and got him a job in the royal stables, lowen feels indebted to her and also thanks to this job, he found a best friend in ancel

Those two are like, the most chaotic duo ever since lowen enables ancel’s weird antics lmao anyway, ancel grabs his bestie to join in the ✨adventure✨and lowen agrees cause if it means helping lady ira he’s in

So yeah, it’s basically two lesbians and their weird chaotic kids find out flora’s curse is important and pivotal to a conspiracy going on in the kingdom

I do like the doomed yuri trope, so yeah it’s doomed yuri lol ANYWAY have art of the sad lesbians

⚧Nimona LGBTQ+ specific headcanons of mine🏳‍🌈

• I've made a conclusion that if queer flags exist in Nimona universe, as well as gay drag bars (so was confirmed in the artbook), then labels DO exist. As well as good old homophobia??? I suppose????

• Nimona doesn't have a specific label because she thinks they are sorta restrictive. Also she just doesn't need one lol, if somebody asked her about her gender she'd say "Nimona"

• She'd wear the heck out of a "protect trans kids" shirt she bought no she ain't feeding into the capitalist machine she stole it

• There was something between Nimona and Gloreth but Nimona can't exactly say what for sure. Not exactly romantic but not strictly platonic. Homegirl had that toxic doomed kindergarten yuri going on😭

• Nimona doesn't look for romantic relationships. She explains it as "romance is for sappy dumb-dumbs" but in reality she just doesn't want to date and romantically love somebody who'll. Eventually die and leave her all by herself again yk (oh this got angsty real fast)

• Maybe one day Ballister tried to help her find her label (because he still tries to put things in boxes) and she just waved it off

Speaking of Ballister

• My man is transgender. Do I even have to explain. Read one of those posts that explain his transness better LMAO

• He started his medical transition as a teenager and had to fit right in not to disrupt the Institute's function. If he's a man then he has to transition QUICKLY so that others don't notice

• Because of that he's a transmedicalist and probably an enbyphobe at the start of the movie, thinking only one type of valid transness exists, and it's the one that is very binary and restrictive

• At the end he realizes the wrong of his ways and works on the internalized transphobia

• He came to terms with his homosexuality a bit easier. "It's always been boys" yk the drill

• Ambrosius is a painfully cisgender gay man. I genuinely apologize to all Transbrosius believers but he gives off STRONG cis vibes can't have a character with this surname dickless

• He's a trans ally but his opinions on trans issues were like. Very closed-minded. He supported but didn't entirely understand. Of course it changed as he went through ✨character development✨

• He was fully supportive of Ballister on his trans journey. Reassured him when Ballister felt like he wasn't enough, tried to make his boyfriend as secure as possible, loving every part of him

There should be a bunch of rather suggestive headcanons but this isn't that type of post LOL

No but think about Ambrosius kissing down Ballister's body and across his chest scars. This is my ultimate dream as a trans man

• Ambrosius also rocks a "protect trans kids" shirt that's for SURE

I’ve talked about masako and tsumugis backstories before so I’m gonna focus on keiko and yuri

starting with keiko I don’t have her backstory fully fleshed out yet but I am always plotting trust

she does have a hard time connecting with people sometimes, like.. really connecting with people. I do know doomed yuri is apart of her backstory and it’s basically Good Luck Babe by Chappell roan

she doesn’t like speaking up for herself. or standing up for herself. or doing things for herself.. she will however do these things for someone else without question. she’s working on that.. sort of

she likes helping others. and doing things for others. I haven’t really gotten to angsting her yet but that’s okay.. she my silly and I love her

Yuris backstory is going under a cut, tw for sa, sh, and abusive relationships

when she was in her first year of high school she got a boyfriend. and at first it was great, he was nice to her, he complimented her, etc etc. she really liked him, and she thought he really liked her, too

but as their relationship progressed he would be a lot harsher to her. he’d comment on things and brush her off and insult her interests and friends, he’d often try isolating her. he’d yell and accuse her of things, but she stayed, because 1) she still remembered the way he’d be nice to her and 2) she didn’t really know how to leave

at one point he’d pressured her into having sex, and despite Yuri not wanting it, he didn’t listen. it was really hard for her to come to terms with what happened to her, and she did turn to self harm to try and distract herself. maybe she thought he wouldn’t want her if she was scarred, and either way, it felt good

it took a bit, but she did eventually heal. she broke it off with him, she came to terms with things, she realized it was never her fault, she got better. it was still hard sometimes, of course, but she did get better. this was also around the time she joined the marching band and made new friends, and that also helped her a lot

and like, again hes been training forever. and then what, this other kid comes along and he arrived in this world like, maybe a week ago? and he still wins. whatever. this is lightweight. but he keeps winning and it isnt fair because hes been training his whole life. and then he wins. he actually wins ultra-ultimate. and he goes on to defeat the wizard king, the thing he wanted to do to make his dad proud.

and then theres like. nickiver, right? sure, this kid is winning the tournaments but thats fine. because it isnt the main one. and hes pretty. and hes firery and stubborn and hes strong and he fights on his level and it's fun and theyre nemises and they argue. and this kid is also just fucking clueless when it comes to any hints about nicky's crush. and then this kid wins ultra-ultimate. and then he sees this kid win pandora's box. and maybe now, if he didnt before, he fully understands the complete weight of defeating the wizard king. because he loves this boy, and he opened the box. he opened the fucking box and he climbed the tower and if he didnt arrive in the world. nicky wouldve done that. for his dad. for his dad's thousand year revenge quest. and again he loves oliver. and he sees him change after defeating the wizard king and maybe they get married and maybe for a bit theyre happy. but oliver defeated the wizard king, which is what nicky was meant to do. it's a good thing he didnt. or maybe not, because it came at the price of oliver.

and like, hes a kid. okay. hes maybe 13, 14, around oliver's age. and he loves fighting and familiars and i doubt he has any friends and i doubt he has anyone. but then he has oliver and oliver is nice but also argues and hes so clueless and hes perfect. hes the perfect guy and nicky loves him and theyre friends (despite their nemisis status). but again oliver defeats the wizard king. and yeah i think nicky probably befriends esther but. he had oliver. oliver was possibly his first non-familiar friend (i do think his familiars are his friends even after the whole thing) and he has him and then he doesnt. and he slips away because of that fucking prophecy. and hes gone.

and also, nicky's scared of being unimportant. he wants to matter. he wants to impress his dad he wants to be important. and hes fucking not, and it's heartbreaking. he was removed from wotww. i say this a lot but every other named character had a cameo. almost every place had a mention. but not nicky (and not giovanni either) (unless you count. french car guy.). nicky doesnt matter. nickys unimportant. nicky doesnt impress his dad. he matters so much to me but overall oliver is the hero of the story so oliver is going to win. nicky is optional in dotdd but god thats better than him not being an option at all.

and something i always think about with the hope and hopelessness line is. nicky holds onto hope. and oliver doesnt. nicky, the neglected, optional, moon coded boy, holds onto hope. and oliver, the loved, hero, adored, sun coded boy holds onto hopelessness. we're given every reason to think it wouldnt be like that. but nicky holds onto hope and oliver doesnt and of course oliver doesnt because hes the hero. hes the pure-hearted one. these things dont just go well. hes the pure hearted one so of course he wants to defeat a great evil, even if it ruins him.

but nicky? he holds onto hope in the end. hope. the character who would make perfect sense to be hopeless, hes the one who holds onto hope. he has hope. maybe hope is all he has. either way, he holds onto hope. and that drives me crazy.

and hes also fun. hes a fun character! hes dramatic and his lines are cute and hes clearly in love with oliver and hes funny and charming! all of this tragedy, and hes so charming still. and i think that does a lot. like, a silly character who says things like 'exactly as i expected... from my NEMISIS!!!!!!!!!' and then you find out hes tragic and his father is neglectful and hes moon coded and he has a moon charm on his coat?? LIKE!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!! AWESOME. and to top it all off. hes even gay.

anyway i love nicky i hope this ?? made sense. if it ever seems like my thoughts on him dont go deep they do im just awful at words & enjoy to make silly posts. i like him a lot

You're grown, you know how to breathe through it. Its just the smell of corpses wafting up your nose and choking you. It's just the corpses. It's just the blood. The distinct copper smell. Like the family tea kettle. It's just copper.

There's no doubt in your heart that she'll come back. He promised you forever with her. It's right at your fingertips yet you can't feel the warmth of glory. You can't hear the beating drums of success. Why can't you hear her heart? She should be back by now. She should be clutching on to you and thanking you. She should be back.

You hold your head to her chest. Maybe she's just...taking a few minutes more. Lucy was always one to lag behind. Especially in the forest... she'd take her time. She always said it was to examine the flowers. You love Lucy, she cared too much. She was too busy with the ethical options, that's what you liked about her. She was your canary, your red alert, she always stopped you when you went too far.

But she didn't stop you here. Some part of her- must've agreed? Right? Lucy wouldn't hide things from you. You're best friends.

You could barely managed to keep focused on her through the volley of spells and counter spells.

Your knife grazed her half of the necklace. When you snuck up on her. And stabbed her in the heart. It felt a little bit too on the nose to stab her in the back. You find that almost comedic. This was good for her, you knew this would be good for her! It's the way to beat the bad kids, to be successful, you have been trying your entire life to succeed. To be a hero. And you were so considerate letting her and the others come with you.

You squeeze the dirt. And move your hands up to squeeze her sweater. Waiting for something. Her blood and the dirt mix together to create a copper color. And you feel so guilty for staining her ivory turtleneck.

You did this so you wouldn't be alone in your successes, sharing it with an ego maniac like Porter. He's just a means to an end.

She's supposed to be your end.

She's supposed to be in your end.

When you and her were kids. She would wrap her hands around yours, behind the school building. You would just sit and cry together, with the few minutes you had between classes. It's hard to be a halfling in a school dominated by people who are bigger and scarier than you, who mock you for your appearance, who mock you for your family name. You thought the family kettle was cool, so you brought it to show the people you wanted to be your friends. And by the end of the day it ended up with four different dents.

You were so angry. You were so hurt. She made it better. You know she made it better so why isn't she making it better now? Why isn't she back already? You yell at her. By this point you're begging. Sobbing over her body. You can see Jace looming like the coward he is right behind a tree in front of you. You scream at him. Telling him to go away.

You think on some level. Jace thinks of you as what he was, a failure, it's no secret that he has no confidence in himself without the other. You're gripping onto Lucy and Ruben, by this time has already been walked away by the others. The last of them to leave you alone? Is Jace surprisingly. It's hesitant you can tell, by the way his footsteps pause. But it's not long before he hurries off.

Maybe it's out of some twisted form of respect for your grieving. You don't even know. At what point did it set in? The smell of copper, the taste of copper, the color, the feeling. The fading warmth of your favorite cup of tea, a fire put out, burning passion that's faded. Lucy Frost blade will never see her next birthday.

She can't make it better this time.

"Not my favorite brother" I know that a lot of people interpret this line as him casually dropping the ecaflip demigod lore, because, sure, they have like, 20 brothers, but... 

But considering what we know about the Crepin family from the comic, — I like to think this is Kerubim trying to hurt Atcham by implying that he likes their dead brothers, — whom they barely remember due to those dying when they were like 7, — more than him.

This might be a reach, but it's a funny reach, okay?

It's so nice of him to correct Kerubim on the exact wording of the death threat he usually uses. 🥰

I'm insane. Just so you know. Like I have no comment, other than saying that I am insane. "My dear Kerubim," and "your beloved brother" make me lose my mind.

This is beef between two people who used to be besties. The affection they held for one another is used as a sort of sarcastic ammo. From Atcham's side, with "dear," and "beloved brother," and from Kerubim's side, with "not my favorite brother."

There's a lot to unpack here, and a lot of it was unpacked in previous posts, — but...

Atcham viewing Kerubim's situation when they were kids as better is depressing.

Despite this being a perfect plan to kill Kerubim, even the idea of besting Kerubim in the self-esteem psychic warfare makes him grin. If he can't get rid of him, he will put him in his place.

To Atcham, Kerubim is the egotistical one, obsessed with what other people think of him, — and to Kerubim, Atcham is the psychotic insane menace to society. And neither really stops to think about the fact that they hate the other for the things they do themselves

You just know Atcham is thinking about how narcissistic and mentally ill Kerubim is to be caught in a saw trap like that. Despite being the "so obsessed with Kerubim that he keeps building him saw traps" guy.

Yet again, I'd like to reiterate, that I NEED Kerubim to drop the Atcham lore.

This is what I keep saying about Atcham being edited out of Kerubim's life — and about Atcham probably building other saw traps for him.

Here, Kerubim attempts to reach out and let Indie know that, despite everything, he does like him. Indie's response is that when Kerubim dies, his body will be an awesome to display in his museum.

I already talked at length about how fucked this moment is, in the long Kerubim analysis. God.

I really do think that Kerubim had a lot of warm feelings towards Indie that may not have been entirely reciprocated, which lead to him playing up his own hatred towards Indie.

...And he had to deal with Indie saying this, while the other person he tries to hate but can't quite manage to, was present.

I would say this is worse than going to a battle too.

From Kerubim's point of view, Indie didn't lose because he might have deep, hidden feelings of camaraderie for him. He lost because he was a better person.

While Kerubim proved himself to be exactly who Atcham thinks he is: someone so egotistical that he'd rather die, than be embarrassed.

Drinking tea from a dainty little cup while his evil twin is dying. Freak.

He assumes that everyone is as obsessed with their self-esteem issues and hatred as he and Kerubim are.

I feel a lot about them. I dont like relate to them in a deep way but something about her makes me so drawn to her character i think about her constantly. I think about zoey when i wake up when im at school and when i go to sleep. I have like 10 pages in my sketch book dedicated to litrearlly just doodles of her and no one else. I think about her a lott. I think shes a realllyyy interesting character

Shes heavily tied to the dream world in a way she didnt even know and its. like.

Every other of the main kids just happened their way into the situation but zoey and the rest of her family were doomed from near the start like the MOMENT beau weilded that sword it was all over for them all. Shes connected to THE fundemental character of the plot (other than Lunia because she haunts the narrative like crazy) and the way shes the opposite of the Night hunter but also very similar is so crazy. I think a screw got loose in my brain when i first saw the headcanon that she looks exactly like Beau except for her eyes Like that drove me crazy and it spawned so many ideas.

A "Perfect" Vacation Ch 4

The days leading to Summer Break now seemed like a crawl of Doom. Now that the news of Madame Prim's escape was seen, most parents were reluctant to even let their kids go outside until she was found. The Brand system had installed a new security system that let out a loud alert should anyone even LOOK at the property, while Emma's father paid half of the police force to protect her daughter from the Perfection obsessed woman.

When the final day of school DID come, there was...less enthusiasm than one would think. Most of the students had to rush home rather than leisurely enjoy the walk back from school. The kids met up as they too had to hurry back home before their parents noticed, however, Ren told Yuri that Kaylo wasn't in school that day. Getting worried, the kids decide to visit her to see if she was alright (and secretly hoping that she didn't get kidnapped by a vengeful Prim)

The kids walked to the Bruno Mansion, only to be off put by the large men in black suits, all with tags that say "Security". Yuri walked closer to the doors of the Bruno home, but one of the men held out his hand in front of her, making her jump back with a gasp "Erm...We were uh, gonna..." she started, but was cut off by the man saying in a deep voiced "Name?". "Oh...Uh...Y-Yuri. Yuri Brand. We're friends with the Brunos." She said.

The man raised an eyebrow "Yeah. A lot of people say that." He said, giving Yuri a HARD stare. That's when the door popped open, and the pink head of Kaylo appeared. "It's OK guys. They really are my friends!" She said. The man nodded "Of course. Sorry for the confusion Miss Bruno." He said before the two of them stepped aside. "Sorry about that guys. My mom has been a bit paranoid after seeing the news." She said.

"So...your mom called in the FBI?" Leo asked. Kaylo gave a giggle "Nope! These guys are Mom's old security team during her performance years." She explained "She asked in for a favor after watching the news, and now I have the men in black surrounding my home." The kids carefully looked outside, and saw the guards tackle a teen outside, who had been holding a donut.

"You think this is a bit TOO much?" Rebecca asked. Kaylo shrugged "I don't know...I will admit, I'm a bit worried too. Even if it is Summer vacation, and we get 3 months of sun and fun, it just seemed like a dark cloud just rolled over and ruined it." She said sadly. Mei placed a hand on her shoulder "I'm sure they'll find her sooner or later, and then we'll be able to enjoy the vacation out of school." She said.

Kaylo gave an uneasy smile "I wish I could say the same...but there is absolutely nothing in this world that could make me enjoy the summer." She said. Suddenly, one of the security guards walked to her mom "Miss Bruno. You have received something in the mail" He said, handing her an envelope. Thea looked curiously at the letter in his hand as she carefully opened it, inside there was a note that read the following:

I cordially invite you to the grand, private opening of ʻO ka huakaʻi hele maikaʻi loa (also known as The Perfect Getaway) for a week long vacation, and a performance for a publicity stunt for when we open to the public. "Hey Kaylo....I know what might cheer you up..." She said. "Nothing could cheer me up right now. Not while Prim is free..." The pink haired girl said as she stared out the window.

"Really...not even a week long vacation on a private island hotel?" Thea asked. The kids perked up as she showed the brochure. Kaylo took it from her mom as she looked through it "Whoa...A 24 hour desert Bar and a Karaoke lounge? This place sounds awesome!!" She said, a smile finding its way to her face. The other kids were oohing and awwing at the hotel's many features and activities "This would be a good way to take our minds off of Prim." Haoyu said.

"Yeah! She wouldn't think to look for us on a Private Island!" Yuri said. "Well, It is Kaylo's mom...Can we go?" Trisha Jane asked. The kids then began to pull puppy eyes to try and sweeten the deal. Thea chuckled "If you want to go you only need to ask. I'm sure your families won't mind! In fact..why don't you ask them as well?" Thea suggested. The kids cheered before they turned to Kaylo...after all she WAS Thea's daughter.

She took a deep breath, before he face gained a smile "Alright. Let's go!" She cheered. The kids celebrated before they ran to tell their families about the current offer...but Yuri couldn't shake the feeling that there was something...off about this strange invite

It's another babysitting gig. Certain child, fan of the famed Speedy the Porcupine got his premium mittens stuck at the tree. That won't do! Eiden's ready to help. In fact he insists on doing it. He's telling how he climbed trees as a kid all the time. Yuri probably could tell the need to impress the kid so he'll let him despite the somewhat awkward look of the attempt.

Beneath the branch that reaches over the low fence is pillow of snow, unshoveled for weeks likely.

" I'm about to reach it ok?! " Eiden grumbles from in between gritted teeth, "just... a bit... "

At this point Eiden's already forgotten his reason, the child that is nervously standing down next to Yuri, nervously tiptoeing for a look. His stretches his arm, inching towards the blue mittens... He's almost there now, only a bit and he's got them...!

Then something cracks. The branch no longer supports the weight above. At the same time Eiden lets out a series of uneven 'whoaaa's. Too far to grab anything he's doomed and together with branch he falls.

It's quite the operation to dig him up from there. On the plus side the mittens fall down with him but... In the end Eiden ends up offering another hot chocolates for both the kid and Yuri.

- Zero Escape-adjacent death game but with dogs and mentally unstable divorced women yuri that is entirely an excuse for me to play with my favourite animal ficton tropes (Specifically the sliding scale of to what degree animals are anthropomorphized in fiction and also wanting to dig aggressively into the ‘humans bad nature good’ narrative that tends to be common to the genre) because developing a special interest in Warrior Cats as a kid does something to you once you discover better animal-centric books and this is proof

- Doomed by the narrative but the narrative is the sparklecat comic the protagonist wrote when he was 11. A story about artists and their relationship to art, its meanings, the interconnected web of people who make and consume it, and what defines it at all, wrapped in layers of surreal nonsense comedy. Has my least neurotypical character cast to date which is REALLY saying something

- Entire Warrior Cats fan arc/conclusion to the whole story post-OotS (Feat. The evil StarClan arc we all deserve) that I started writing solely out of spite when past Azure dropped the series after Tigerheartstar got magically resurrected. I’m more attached to these motherfuckers than I have been to any major characters from the past three arcs combined. Also really really proud of the worldbuilding on this one but I’m not divulging details until this motherfucker gets its own behemoth of a post on the potential sideblog

- Hell is real but the supposed eternal damnation for sinners is just being forced into a desk job doing all of heaven’s paperwork for them because nobody else wants to. And also the whole cast is talking cats

- A universe comprised solely of ideas and scrapped concepts I wanted to use for other stories and was too attached to to let go of so I strung them all together into an incoherent mess for the bit

alright rambles about ONE of my old ocs bc she was my fav and i love her <3

okay so she was originally my meme persona on animo, i made her based off of the croissant emoji, which is where her OG nickname comes from, Croisson. croi evolved pretty much immediately after I started making stuff with her, turning from my own personal persona into a new oc.

first (i think) she was just Meghan's weird friend, which then turned into the plot point that Meghan had accidentally destroyed Croi's original universe (Now named Universe Strange) where Croi was named Melinda. at first Croi was going to be like a secret twist villain, but I changed that after introducing her dead brother/the demon pretending to be her dead brother haunting her.

she blames herself for her universe collapsing at that point, despite it literally not being her fault At All. she left her brother alone for a little bit which somehow lead to him climbing a MOUNTAIN by himself, having hypothermia and then also getting shot in the chest. Except that I retconned it a few times to where he originally died with his parents in the Universe collapse, then I retconned it to him being kidnapped by demons and therefore not being in the universe when it destroyed. (also he was kidnapped by demons bc both Mason the Brother and Croi are half demon half god. mason got more demon traits and croi had more god traits)

croi then meets Abigail, my 2nd fav oc. Abigail is a snake woman (or as a kept calling her a "Naga" for some reason) i immediately started a ship between them, where also abi was shipped with daemon (who is now a gay man) but i settled on Abi being a lesbian and being with Croi.

these two were doomed yuri in my 13 year old mind. i gave them heart breaking storylines of betrayal and reconciliation, where they kept hurting each other but always finding their ways back to each other. eventually, the two of them, after all their troubles had stopped, had gotten married (i think i teased them getting married for like ageees. they mightve originally had a kid i think too)

however. because i needed content. the king of hell named fucking Zero shows up and thanosed like most of the main cast. Meghan, Gina, Meghan's GF, and Abigail got trapped in like a soul realm. Daemon and Mason were all Croi had left. this is the part where Croi finds out shes part God, and that she finds out she can realistically fight this demon one-on-one. so she does. and fucking dies. but in killing Zero she brings back everyone who got taken, and its a really sad scene in my little brain of Abigail holding one of Croi's wing feathers close to her chest and crying because now shes separated from her wife

anyways thought i think i did plan for a way for Croi to come back, which involved a diff villain named S.R (literally "Ship Ruiner" lmao) and then i think Croi and Abi would've lived happy and fulfilled lives <3

　　　Raven couldn't help shaking his head at the way Yuri described the Schwann Brigade. Not that he was wrong and maybe Leblanc did go a bit over-the-top when attempting to chase down the criminal Yuri Lowell. Schwann may have made sure to keep the kids in check but his unit had... a way of doing it. They were also simply loyal to a fault. The three of them single handedly dug him out from his certain doom once, he had no doubt they'd do it again.

Joking aside, he was pretty thankful at how level headed Yuri could be when times turned tough. Both of them heavily considered their options but clearly Yuri was the one doing the most thinking out of the two of them or maybe it was just to hide up any internal panic. Yuri was never the easiest guy to read most days.

Raven was at a mental standstill with the lads last question. Weighing the options of staying versus exploring and splitting up or not. The guild had come here for a reason as a team and he was a little worried that something might be lurking deeper in the ruins, not that they'd probably stray too far, like Yuri had suggested. Any sort of monsters could have made such an abandoned place their nest, however nothing had seemed to react to the collapse besides them.

❝ hm... well, we'll certainly have time before helps comin' so it shouldn't hurt if we look around. We better stick t'gether, though. I don't want to get in trouble if you don't come back! ❞

As dramatic as his tone may be, he knew that he'd get one heck of a lecture about letting the young man wander off on his own and have him not come back. It wasn't that Raven didn't have faith in him, he just wasn't going to stretch their luck any further. Worst comes to worst they could wander back and start digging themselves out. Raven was perfectly okay with putting off the hard labor for a little while longer.

"Isn't up to the elderly to have wise advice for the youth? What am I gonna do without it with all my youthful ignorance?" When Raven merely kicked at a rock, Yuri half expected the damn pile to crash down on them. At this point it would be his luck. As long as they didn't crushed though, they could probably make it a week or more with the provisions on hand rationed well enough. It was really a matter of how much they could do before they ran too low on energy to handle any strenuous physical activity.

"We could look for another way out, but I'm not sure we should stray too far either... Getting lost is just as bad as being stuck - especially if help shows up and we're nowhere to be found." Plus, the knights and whatever guild(s) they might be able to hire to help would have to start at the entrance and work their way inward. The less resistance in front of them the better, and the sooner they'd get through if the other half on the other side had been chipped away at.

It didn't help that... this place all looked the same from the inside. If they weren't too worried about the stability of the ruins, Raven could just shoot at it bit by bit until the remaining rumble was easily moved aside, but one wrong debris landing large enough could just make it even worse and leave them with a bigger pile than they started with. At least Rita hadn't attempted to blow anything up to get them out...

"There's a sure way out here in front of us, so I guess we could check the mostly immediate area... but we shouldn't wander far. Pretty sure your Tweedles and my personal fanclub leader Leblanc will come running as soon as they hear about you being trapped with me. But then again, it's your fault I was able to make that jailbreak that got me out of Zaphias to begin with... so maybe I should tell them I'm off the hook by honor of their esteemed captain seeing fit to conspire with me... You're more helpful than I thought."

He was word tossing, but his eyes were already checking for a potential other exit. He paused though as he considered how well moving the debris would go on their end.
