In the Favoritism AU's Scarlet Warlock, I imagine Felix & CN reading Nicholas Kress & Miles Arcel's tragic love story with different reactions.

F, shaking his head: Nobody deserves that kind of- are you crying?!

CN, sobbing his heart out: THEY DESERVED BETTER!

CN/Adrien (who I hc as an avid ao3 reader/fanfic reader) couldn't help it! It's the literal trope of 'my love for you outweighs any religion, even though we're to be damned, there is nothing holier or purer than this'. It's like Trigun vashwood at its peak.

Also, just imagine the dynamic they have. Felix is the kinda movie watcher who could chuckle at scenes he shouldn't while Adrien probably bursts into tears the moment an animal dies.

Bonus: Adrien tries his best to create OCs based on Nicholas Kress & Miles Arcel to write a sorta 'fix-it fic' where they get a happier ending.

Adrien: *Throwing money at Nathaniel and Marc* Teach me how to draw and write, please!

Nathaniel: … Should we?

Marc: Shh. The longer we stall, the more money gets thrown at us.

Marinette the Teenage Witch

Marinette is a young witch and a freshman at the College of Miraculous Arts that recently opened its doors for the young witches and warlocks from the Mortal World. Her familiar Tikki is one of the oldest spirits and many wizards don’t understand why such a powerful creature chose a witch with ‘tainted’ blood since Marinette’s father is a human who possesses no magical abilities.

Although undoubtedly talented, Marinette isn’t considered to be a very strong witch and her magic is mostly focused around simple and domestic spells however the Headmaster Fu believes she hasn’t yet reached her full potential.

Adrien Agreste and his familiar Plagg

Because I can’t just draw characters I need to create a whole new universe

Adrien is a young warlock who comes from a pureblood Agreste family.

His father Gabriel Agreste is a powerful warlock and the leader of the Magic Council that governs the magical world.

All his childhood Adrien was prohibited from visiting the human’s world because his father despises all the magical creatures and beings that are living in harmony among humans who he sees inferior to witches and warlocks. His father’s hatred was never understood by Adrien but it affected his younger brother Felix who has the same dislike for humans and wants to help their father drain the human world of all magic and banish and deprive of their magical abilities the witches and warlocks who betrayed their magical heritage and decided to mingle with humans.

Adrien inherited his family’s most ancient and powerful familiar, a demonic creature Plagg, the Spirit of Chaos and Destruction. His father had high hopes for him and he expected to use Adrien’s magic to help him in his plans to separate the two worlds but Adrien chose a different path and refused to use his familiar’s powers to harm anyone.

Adrien’s relationship with his younger brother is very difficult as Felix believes he is supposed to be the owner of Plagg and that he is much more worthy that his brother who refuses to even use Plagg’s powers. Adrien loves his little brother and hopes that one day they’ll able to put their differences aside and have the same warm relationship they had when they were children.

Like all the members of his family, Adrien is a dark wizard who possesses the ability to perform dark magic and can control demonic spirits.

OLD CHAT NOIR CHARACTER BANK Species: Cat demon/former human Human name: Adrien Agreste Demon name: Chat Noir Champion of: King Plagg of Hell Height: 6’0-3” (we need tall boi) Age: 25 Full Height (when he’s trying to scare people, all Sebastian style): Very Tall. Very Very Tall. Looks, Adrien: angel  Looks, Chat Noir: His eyes glow green at times. Especially when he’s angry or feeling another strong emotion. Clothing: N/A Family: Mother died while he was a young child. Father wasn’t around much and many speculated he was the infamous warlock Hawk Moth. Adrien died and became a demon because of a spell Hawk Moth was using to try and bring Adrien’s mother back to life. The spell required the use of a demon (Nooroo) and another soul (Adrien’s). That is the same spell Marinette is trying to do to bring Adrien back to life. Languages Spoken: english or whatever, as well as latin (hell/heaven only speaks in latin) Magic: Can cause anything to disintegrate by using his claws. Other powers include full demon form, and kind of anything Sebastian from Black Butler can do. Control over shadows causing them to be sentient. Is forced to destroy something if someone does a cataclysm spell (like how the Genie in Aladdin was a slave to the lamp) Method of Fighting: He prefers scaring his prey, but won’t hesitate to use his claws to protect Marinette. Will go into full demon form (which includes heeled boots ;} ) in extreme cases. Chat doesn’t like for Marinette to see his true demon form so he requests she not look. She looks anyway. She’s into it. :P Where is his pentagram located to make the pact with Marinette?: large pentagram on his right ring finger, hidden with gloves (if needed), a large chest piece over his heart, never used, always covered. ( unless dire situations calls for dire measures) Special Info: Allergic to bird feathers. Whenever his allergies act up, all Chat has to do is just sneeze at them and boom, it's a whole chicken dinner. When they're traveling from town to town, that's how they make do for food.

NEW CHAT NOIR Species: Cat demon | Former human Demon name: Chat Noir Champion of: Plagg Height: 6’0-3” or 193cm Age: 22 at the start of FLP Looks, Adrien: Blonde hair, green eyes, and dark amber-honey skin. Looks, Chat Noir: As a cat demon, he is everything that Adrien was when he was younger with added bonuses. His eyes are neon green with cat shaped pupils. His teeth are sharp and Cheshire-like. His skin is still just as dark, but now his arms have a gradient from pure black at the claws to his normal skin tone halfway up his forearms and halfway up his calves. He has black, sharpened claws, and he has modified feet that, when lifted up, show that he has thickened pawpads at the balls of his feet that looks like he has an actual paw for a foot. As a wardog, he’s a cat the size of one-story house (20ft standing). He’s made entirely out of fog, so he’s see-through, and people are technically able to walk through him if he chooses it. His tongue is green and leaks acid. As a cat, he is nothing more than a little black kitty with green eyes. He is just as smooth-brained as any other cat. After FLP, Chat Noir wears a little bell in his cat form. Looks, shattered: [     ] Clothing: He wears black high-waisted pants/trousers that go to the kneecap and button at the front, because he doesn’t like covering his calves with fabric. Shoeless. He wears a simple white long-sleeved poet shirt, similar to what a stereotypical vampire would wear, with strings to close it and no fancy sleeve cuffs because those frilly things bother him. Usually does his best to hide his tattoo so it doesn’t catch anyone’s attention, but doesn’t mind it when it shows. Wears a farmer’s straw hat when he works outside, but not often enough.  Family: Adrien’s mother died while he was very young. His father became obsessed with trying to find a way to bring her back, even going as far as pledging himself to being a god’s champion, attempting to use Adrien as a sacrifice into getting what he desires. As Chat Noir, his mother is Tikki and his father is Plagg. He has an uncle, Nooroo. Languages Spoken: French, Latin, and Greek Magic: Fire manipulation, spell casting, transformations, acid magic (from tongue in wardog form), shadow manipulation, manipulation of fortune (negatively) Method of Fighting: Wardog form Where is his pentagram located to make the pact with Marinette?: Large tattoo on his chest where his heart/soul is. Luka on his mothers pirate crew but doesn't feel like the life is for him leaves with Juleuka on a quest after mother was captured by Hawkmoth or something

College of Valor Bard (Sings s*ngs about heroes of the past honestly could have been most of the Bard subclasses)

The Monarchs Court- Inspired by Cornerverse’s Monarch fic where Chloe grabs Hawkmoth’s miraculous during Love Eater before he could try and akumatize her, however this goes differently than Corner’s happy ending. It’s a dark and pain filled story as Chloe falls from grace and sanity for the sake of Paris and for the goal to stick Gabriel Agreste’s head on a stake. She’s broken but driven. Juleka Works At Denny’s: crack au where it’s just Juleka working as an employee at Denny’s

Chloe Couffaine: Au where Chloe was adopted as a Couffaine at a young age and became a very protective punk old sister.

Anarchy’s Maidens: Crack au where Anarka, Penny, Nathalie, and Caline we’re part of a band back in high school-university but broke off due to their jobs and future careers.

The Phantom Hive- Chloenette Persona Fic where Chloe becomes a persona user and wrecks all of the corrupted individuals in Paris along with fixing her relationships with people and having a gay panic attack every five seconds and being dead inside. It’s on ao3.

Couffaines Adopt Rich Kids- Juleka goes with her ‘Kidnap Kagami’ plan and steals Kagami. They basically adopt her— and they continue to adopt more, leading to Chloe and Lila redemption. Marikuma- An akumanette au where Marinette turns into a danganronpa  themed akuma and puts the class (plus Luka and Kagami) into a killing game. It’s Alya centric, and while I’m writing a post about that, however people want to write the trials is completely up to them. Very flexible.

Mari on Ice- Yuri on Ice AU with Kagami and Marinette as Viktor and Yuri and Chloe and Alix as Yurio and Otabek

Demon Alya- Playing off of the joke that salt fix writers literally make her a demon, this is a very Alya Sugar au. Alya is a demon from hell, who needs to pay off her monthly soul quota, but accidentally learns humanity along the way when she becomes besties with the purest and kindest girl she’s ever met, Marinette. Rose is also an angel who’s trying to keep Alya from damning anyone to hell, but thanks to friendship, that’ll never happen anyways. Juleka is a paladin warlock multi class because of this.

Ml Rwby- They’re all in the world of remnant. Marinette is the team leader of ‘MAACL’ (”Miracle”) and the rest of the class is there too. They fight against the forces of evil, but for now, their biggest threat to their lives is high school. You can read it on ao3

Mr Headcanon-man, sir, do you have any thoughts on D&D? I recently got into it myself and just thought 'what if some of the ML class played in a D&D campain?' and was curious if you ever thought about it as well? Like I think ot would be really cute if one would have started up to help Adrien bond with a few people in class, not everyone bc that would beabsolute chaos, probably with Nino as DM and Mari being part of it. Then both Adrien and Mari turn up with dm approved homebrewed deities for their warlock/cleric/paladin/patron-needing class based on their kwamis, but they dont realise the others insperation until way later, either after theyve reveled themselves to one another or a session in that d&d campain is what sparks the revelation in the first place.

I am actually a DM, and I had a whole ML x D&D au with an assortment of headcanons.

Honestly while this could make a very cool AU on it’s own, it might also be fun if this was just ‘the Team plays Dungeons and Dragons’. 

Maybe mid-way through a session there’s a D&D themed Akuma that turns them into their characters and they have to play the game to win.

Miracuteam plays dnd

Au where Marinette gives Chloe another chance with the bee and says “Okay look you’ve done a good job so far, so I’m challenging you to host something for the team to do for bonding stuff” and Chloe is like “consider it done!” and disappears for three days before coming back and is like “Okay I got it- bring a camera and the team, this is going straight to the internet”

The team show up at this meeting spot and Chloe’s decided that they’re all gonna play dnd. Cause fuck- Chloe is a Nerd damn it you can’t take that away from me!

The only one is ‘ehh’ about it is Kagami cause she just doesn’t know what it is, but is roped in by the excitement of the rest of them.

Also this is pre identity reveal so there’s a lot of identity shenanigans 

Marinette is slightly worried about the whole thing, especially the fact that they’re going to stream it, but is happy that Chloe is being s positive with the team and truly coming out of her shell. Surprisingly she lets her character sit back more, in her way to relax from being the team leader all the time. (cleric or Barbadian there is no in between) still a team mom though and brings snacks.

Adrien is INCREDIBLY excited and is the biggest nerd. He may or may not have commissioned Marinette to draw his character for him (this gets the whole team to commission mari, though it gives LB a good cover so she can draw her own stuff privately and say that Marinette did it for her). Uses his character to flirt of course. 

Alya is hyped up and is nerding out with everyone, including Chloe, who’s just plain excited and happy to have everyone here (friends yay!). Alya is very good at teaching Kagami the ropes too. She’s very.. cough.. intense when she makes a bad role though.

Nino is making him and Alya’s characters date of course and despite the bland character, he surprisingly is a very fun and intense role player

Luka is very excited cause he played dnd with his family a lot and is ready to whip out his harp any time to playing annoyingly fun bard

Kagami doesn’t get it at first, but once she does, she starts to get really into it. Maybe I’ll talk about their characters in another post Kagami basically plays an even more awkward version of Yasha from critical role, except she starts only as a brutal monster killer before slowly becoming her own character. The team loves her. Kagami is also a very intense dice collector and hoarder. 

Max is a very intense strategist and while not the ever role player, he’s very into and invested with the game. Big critical role fan and quietly fan boys with Chloe. Probably plays a warlock, wizard, or artificer.

Kim just wants to hit things. He names his character something ridiculous and while he doesn’t take things completely seriously, however once shit hit the fan he became completely invested and realized how into it he was. He becomes the player with the very emotional and heroic sacrifice that people cry for despite the sheer ridiculousness that he originally was. Legend.

Alix joins midway through the game but becomes a fan favorite because she too is a hidden nerd. Her character is an absolute cryptid and surprisingly mellow for her personality.

Finally: Chloe. She didn’t sleep for three nights straight planning the first session. She becomes the mastermind DM no one expected and is just absolutely excited for the team to encounter the twists and turns she created. She puts her heart into the story and it shows, and the team starts to gain a deep understanding and sympathy for Chloe, getting closer to her as they see her through the lovable npcs she made specifically for them. (I’m gonna say that while she has the bee still, they did the change your name thing, no one except Mari and Adrien know who she is.)

Very passionate when it comes to the characters and writing, and actually makes some cry at the ends of some sessions. It’s very touching to everyone.

maybe I’ll write another post with their characters and what Paris thinks of the now ongoing campaign that was supposed to be a one shot but for now this is all I’ve got
