Gideon's desire to do up all the buttons on Harrow's shirts incorrectly is so funny because it sounds like they're in the wardrobe unbuttoned, right, so Harrow's usual process of dressing is: put shirt on, do up buttons. But in Gideon's little fantasy of annoying her, she would have to do a round of unbuttoning first. But in doing this, Gideon herself has to add a round of buttoning to her own tasks.

Of course, she would do it happily, it's just funny that in the objective sense, it's adding equal labor to both of them, so over all in those terms, it's a net zero change from the status quo. It's all for the annoyance.

If anything, doing the buttons up correctly would actually add more hassle, because all of the buttons would need to be unbuttoned, whereas doing them incorrectly means one button doesn't have a hole to go into, so one less button to undo. But it's so Harrow has an even more obvious sign that Gideon was out to bother her. This way, Harrow knows the truth. It's just for the annoyance factor, they're so funny.

If it were done up right, Harrow might just think the skeletons that did the laundry had done it like it's a style some people prefer.

Would the skeletons do them up wrong if Gideon asked? Would they fix them if Harrow requested so she wouldn't have to bother? Would these two even outsource their annoying each other like that? Probably not.

A rather late in the day Endeavour wardrobe team appreciation post for Gilet Slay Saturday.

No gilets but the wardrobe team did give us…

1. The smug motherfucker suit

okay they seriously outdid themselves with the new SAB weapon set this year. just LOOK at these things!! my hands are going to die a noble death collecting them... but it will be worth it.

Let me ramble real quick

So, first things first: These are the same outfit

...at least conceptually.

All three of these outfits include a dark denim jacket, a flannel, and an undershirt. However, we have seen 2 exact pieces from this ST5 outift in previous seasons.

In season 2, Jonathan wears this specific dark navy/faded black jacket in every single episode (barring episode 7, obviously) and this is NOT the same jacket from season one (that one is shorter and a thicker/darker denim). We have also not seen it since season 2.

AND we see the light tope/beige undershirt twice. Once in season 2 (episode 3) and also in season 4 (episode 3):

while Jonathan has many undershirts in neutral shades, this specific one has only been seen in these episodes.

What's the point of this?

Basically, while the styling choices for Jonathan in season 5 are giving season one and two vibes, there is a more direct connection to season 2 than season 1.

Day 5: Unique I thought a lot about this one since seeing the prompt list and couldn't really come up with something. I don't know that it's unique, but something that I never ended up expressing in the comic was how they modify their clothes. Their wardrobe changes over time which means I'm constantly checking that I've got their design correct for the chronology of any given piece. That said… I'd like to push that a little more in the future, cause some more problems for myself.

Redo of my coord for the kei con swap meet! I had finished putting together my review of this dress months ago, all that was missing was a little snip of what the dress looks like when worn.

I'll start by saying I may be mistaken but in my recent *cough* scientific analysis *cough* of potential photos for use on Moustache Monday and whilst perusing the posts from yesterday my spidey senses starting tingling at the incredible likeness of this snug navy shirt...

To one of our most lusted after admired items of the Endeavour wardrobe.. the too snug navy shirt of smugness

I can't be certain but they are certainly similar in colour, sheen and ummm 'fit'...

I fully accept that there are lots of navy shirts and that it may not be the same one but I think it deserves some continued analysis..
