Vampires vs Witches Collection - Everyday Outfit

Surprise! A new collaboration with my friend @luxysims! Halloween is my favorite celebration and we wanted to do a little collaboration and give it a fun twist.

🌙✨ Today, an epic battle breaks out between Luxy and me: Vampires vs. Witches! And I have a mission: convince you to choose vampires! 🦇🦇(Do not read her evil post, is full of lies)

First, let's get one thing straight: When it comes to transportation, who wants to ride a broom when you can arrive at the party in bat form?🦇 It's clear who's got style! While they're rocking their pointy hats and antique-shop vibes, we vampires are rocking red-carpet-worthy looks. Because let's face it, no one's dying for a broom! 🧹

Now, about the powers: Witches cast spells, but their enchantments are more complicated than filling a house with chimneys and hoping it doesn't burn down. We just need to use our charisma, and if it doesn't work we'll always have hypnosis to get our way!

And let's not forget eternity. While witches are searching for herbs in the garden, we're at the party, enjoying the neighbor's blood in fancy glasses. Life is short, but not for us!

Because @bnhxwks asked me to answer all the rest of those self ship questions it is time for a very long post and I apologize if it’s annoying. Thank you for enabling me! I also hope I caught all the spelling mistakes.

💌 Reiner doesn’t write anything too flowery but every single words is painstakingly thought out. He will agonize over every word, wanting to get it right. He’ll even rewrite it several times if he has to in order to get it right but in the end, they are the sweetest letters, filled with his thoughts and favorite memories of us.

🍷 Reiner was such a wreck. He was nervous because he wanted our first date to be perfect. We went to a nice restaurant — nothing too fancy — and then took a walk along the waterfront. He even made us stop for ice cream. We stayed out to stargaze a bit (but he stared at me more than anything else) and he made sure to take me home. He even asked before kissing me good night.

😘 Our first kiss was at the end of our first date. He asked for permission first and it was soft and sweet but Reiner was clearly nervous. He kept his hands firmly on my hips the whole time.

😳 Reiner will sneak up behind me and whisper the dirtiest things in my ear while holding my hips and keeping me pressed up against him. He’ll do it when we’re alone or in public. Either way, it gets me every time. The easiest way for me to fluster Reiner is to give him a firm smack on his ass. He blushes every single time.

😍 I knew I fell for Reiner after our first date. (Yes, that soon.) He sent me flowers the next day and showed up with a pint of my favorite ice cream. He tried to be sneaky and leave it at my door but I caught him. He swears he fell for me before he even knew my name. He saw me at the farmer’s market while I was shopping alone and he says he just knew we would end up together.

😴 If we’re sitting on the couch, I’m always cuddled in at Reiner’s side. At some point, he’ll pull me on to his lap though. Sometimes he’ll lay down with his head in my lap while I’m sitting down so I can play with his hair too. If we’re laying down together, I’ll usually lay half on him with my head on Reiner’s chest (he’ll play with my hair or nuzzle his nose in my hair) or we’ll spoon.

🥰 My favorite thing is how he tries so hard to remember the things I like so he can surprise me with them later, like bringing home my favorite cupcakes for no reason other than he saw them and they reminded him of me.

💭 He would probably be thinking about all of the little things he loves about me. Everyone calls him a lovesick puppy for a reason!

💋 He loves to kiss my fingertips and the crook of my neck, depending on if he’s just being sweet or if he’s trying to turn me on. (But that’s only if he’s not kissing my lips.)

{I’m dumb and couldn’t find the emoji} When I’m sad, he’ll hold me and rub my back and let me cry it out. Then he suggests we bake cookies together to try to cheer me up!

💐 Reiner loves when I get him daisies. Mostly because it’s what I got him once for his birthday and he had never had someone get him flowers before so they became his favorite. He loves getting me roses but he’ll often surprise me with stargazer lilies because he knows they’re my favorite.

🎄 Christmas Eve is spent with his family, having dinner and exchanging gifts. We go to my family’s on Christmas Day in the afternoon for an early dinner and gift exchange. But Reiner and I will exchange one gift at midnight on Christmas Eve/Day and then we open any other gifts after getting home from Christmas with my family.

🎁 Reiner is happy with practical gifts but he loves when I make him something, like a scrapbook or photo album. He usually gets me things that he knows I won’t get for myself, like a slightly expensive perfume or a first edition copy of my favorite novel.

🎟️ There’s a reason our movie dates happen at home now. Reiner will get distracted even when he picks the movie. He ends up with his hands under the blanket we’re snuggling under and the next thing either of us know, we’re having sex on the couch. We’ve been kicked out of movie theaters because Reiner can’t keep his hands to himself even in public.

A particular piece of jewelry he refuses to part with?- He, Mark and Alir have matching rings. He did get a necklace and a couple rings from Dani but refuses to risk damaging/losing them. He has a few funky things- 80s style bracelets, pop culture themed jewelry. But he's honestly not much for actually wearing them. The jewelry collection will be added to in near future though apparently 😰

Any particular scents he likes?- Petrol station. That's all I'll say. Pine and sea salt too

Something he counts as unforgivable?- Killing/knowingly endangering his friends. If someone's done it, he just won't move on from it, you'll always be untrustworthy to him. Yes this includes himself, even if he was trying to avoid endangering people

Where does he go to think?- The bunkers. Everything always leads back to them. Sometimes around other people, if he wants some sort of outside input (but there's also the chance of him thinking out loud around certain people is a plot. It definitely was when he did it once or twice to Baphomet)

Guilty pleasure?- I don't think he'd see any point in covering it up, he just likes puzzles. Likes making them mostly

How does he spend a lazy day?- Ahahohoho. Don't be silly. This man is always working. He'd probably just hang around with Darian and Alir, or his friends in his department. If not, there's always new machines to be working on, security systems to update. He's a busy guy too

Something sentimental?- He doesn't really do sentimental. But he takes pride in his work, and feels sentimental about particular creations. He'll always adore any gifts Darian and Alir give him though

Comfort ritual/how he calms down after a rough day?- Rich kid shit. Fancy bath, go out for a meal

Adrian

Most painful memory?- Really depends on what age specifically we're talking about, because Adrian technically refers to the age range of late 18/19 to 21. 18/19 Adrian is obviously still getting over a death. Is he over the events that lead to him getting picked up by commission? Probably not. 20 Adrian has a hell of a lot going on, doesn't really have time or any need to focus on the past. 21 Adrian though is in the direct aftermath of seeing basically all his project co-workers be ripped apart, nearly ending up the same way only to be saved by another reality being for some reason and being blamed for the whole project. So yeah, probably that

Is he different to first perceptions of him? How does he surprise people?- Mmm yes and no. He's very aware of his reputation and the assumptions and perceptions of him. And he'll lean into the ones he sees as useful. They aren't exactly false, he can easily live up to the perceptions, and very much has done. But as I've said before, Adrian was the one that took in Alir. It'd be cliché to say oh he's just a mean guy with a soft side. He's an asshole because of 18 years of losing every chance of living a good life despite fighting for it, and he's tired and obviously being manipulated. But he's not the "has a soft side prick 🥺", he just has the common sense to not blindly follow everything. He has morals. Sometimes. Even if it really doesn't seem like it. Because he is still Darian, he is still Dante

Are there any recent trends he would love or hate?- He'd hate tiktok trends I can't lie. At this point he's barely had a chance to be on the internet. If he saw a bunch of people younger than him doing weird dances or jokes that 100m other people have already done, he'd probably avoid the internet altogether. He'd love shit like the tidepod challenge just because he'd want to see stupid people get consequences

Something he counts as unforgivable?- Honestly most crimes against children. Hypocritical of him, yes, because of the noncanon rp. But he'll absolutely not deal with prolonged and serious suffering when it comes to young people. Any mistreatment because of discrimination? Not even a second thought, they're already dead to him. Then obviously sexual assault, stuff along those lines

Claudia Fantana

S/o: Vampire!Dutch Van Der Linde. He's not as accurate to canon as you all are thinking. Mostly on the basis he is of sound mind. My friend and I are aware how bad canon Dutch is and she would not be pursuing him if her story took place in canon. V!Dutch behaves more like a grumpier Trelawny - do not come for our throats.

❣️- What are their love languages?

Claudia is a woman of action and passion and thus her love language shows through that way. Either by acts of service or through physical touch. She is often touching her beloved Vampire in some shape or form, even as little as grazing her fingers against his arm. If she is not touching, kissing him or doting on him, then she is doing little things such as making sure her flat has his favorite whiskey or singing to him while he rests.

🍷- How do they feel about alcohol?

Claudia believes that having a glass of wine a night is good for the soul. Drinking red wine helps her relax after a long day. Even on performance nights she makes it a point to drink some to help her. That is to say she doesn't have her fair disdain for alcoholics and drunken men that feel a little too confident in their pants. However, her dear friend, Darius runs several bars so she holds no ill will to the alcohol industry. Just the selfish and reckless folk.

💓- What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection?

Generally speaking, Claudia keeps to herself as much as she can outside of work. However, when she is fancying someone - either like her "ex", Darius or Dutch, she will go out of her way to spend time with them. She'll also go through the trouble of keeping something in her house for them if they're visiting. Whether it be cigarettes, whiskey, or something like slippers.

👨‍👩‍👧- What’s their relationship with their parents like?

Nonexistent; they died when she was only a baby. She has no bond or connection to them.

☂️- How do they feel about rain?

She finds it both soothing and a nuisance. Soothing for on the days she has off and she can curl up at home under a blanket. It's more of a nuisance when it comes to work. It can cause delays in the shows and traveling to and from the theatre becomes more challenging.

🎶- What’s a song they really like?

Given the time period in which she lives, she doesn't quite get the luxury of listening to music like today, however; she quite enjoys Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake".

🖌️- Do they have any hobbies?

When she is not on the clock, she loves reading books or going for walks in the nearby park. Currently she is reading "Frankenstein" in the rp.

💘- What do they find attractive about their partner(s)?

I'm going to assume we're just talking about Dutch here. Although Darius is an Ex of sorts, the two are on good terms and still quite close. But for the sake of the ask I'll stick to Dutch only. For Dutch she finds his voice quite attractive. It's very warm and sultry - has a bit of a tart bite to it? (Idk if that makes sense???) And it just makes her melt. She also really admires his fangs. His are much larger and pronounced compared to hers. Seeing his fangs for the first time when he punched a drunken flirt for harassing her, made her feel things. And finally, his hands. He is,,,, a very multi-talented man with those hands. He can shoot, protect, and soothe with those hands - what more could a woman want?

She does! A sweet little black and white , long-haired cat named Wyatt.

She is an only child.

❣️- What are their love languages?

Sweet miss Faline's love language is a combination of physical touch and words of affirmation. She is not one to shy away from making sure her husband feels loved and cared for. Not only does it make him feel cared for, but it makes her feel good as well. Win-win.

🍷- How do they feel about alcohol?

She tolerates it at best; and that is on a good day. She feels comfortable enough around Heisenberg to be okay when he drinks it. But generally speaking, she doesn't think highly of the products, and she hasn't had good experiences with others when they're drunk.

💓- What are some signs they’ve fallen for someone? How do they show their affection?

Seeing as Heisenberg was her first and only relationship she's had, it's hard to gauge a pattern. However, when she started to catch feelings for Heis, she had a tendency to hum a lot. It wasn't something she did often up until that point. She also started baking more. Leaving little offerings on his work bench of muffins, cookies, apple slices, etc. Just something to ensure he had food in his system, and he wasn't neglecting himself.

👨‍👩‍👧- What’s their relationship with their parents like?

*Sweats* Currently nonexistent considering they live on the other side of the world. Her family abandoned her in Romania, and she was left to her own devices months before being brought towards the lords. However, it's for the best the ties have been severed - Trust me.

☂️- How do they feel about rain?

Faline will get any chance she gets to go dance in the rain. She will drag Heisenberg out with her to play in it. It's the little things like that help them both decompress while living in such a stressful environment. If she isn't smooching her husband in the rain, then they're both curled up on the bed taking advantage of a good nap.

🎶- What’s a song they really like?

Faline's taste in music varies, especially with what's accessible. But "Let me Be Your Superhero" by Smash into pieces would be one she listens to as much as she can.

🖌️- Do they have any hobbies? Baking since its accessible to her. Modern day entertainment isn't always the most available in a crazy village ya know?

💘- What do they find attractive about their partner(s)? Holy moly what doesn't she find attractive? His eyes, his nose, his hands, his squishy dad-bod? His voice?! His determination for freedom, his ambition to create? She adores it all. There's too many things to decide. When she fell for him, she fell deeply and madly in love.

Popup shops and restaurants are a pretty big business here in Japan, particularly in Tokyo. I’ve seen news of them from time to time, but one in particular caught my attention: Amazon. They created their own bar in the G735 Gallery in the fancy Ginza district of Tokyo. It’s only there from October 20th through October 29th. Curious, I set forth in pre-typhoon rains to see what Amazon had to offer.

Ordering Your Drinks

All answers help pick your drink. It’s like a personality test!

The first room where you order

First, you enter the bar in a service area with tons of Kindles. You pick one and begin answering some questions about your mood, what you’d be doing right now, what kind of alcohol you’d like to consume, and so forth. It’s only six questions (they have English machines as well!), and when you finish, you’re given a suggestion and a price. If you don’t want that, they have similar suggestions below you can order. Once you pick your drink, a ticket prints and you go to the cashier to pay. They bring you your drink moments later to enjoy. They also have a small variety of appetizers you can buy, such as french fries, olives, sausage, and Japanese pickles. They also have non-alcoholic drinks you can partake in as well. The prices were surprisingly affordable, with all appetizers being 300 ($3) or 500 ($5) yen. Drink were similarly 500 yen on the low end and closer to 1500 ($15) on the high end.

I got a glass of Dubliner 10yr whiskey and it did not disappoint!

Free Things (Service)

Delicious treats!

Once you sit down, you’re given a small cup with some prosciutto and grapes to snack upon. You’re also given a small glass of Megami no Ruby Pocky. It’s a special Pocky designed to be paired with red wine that has cheddar, cloves, and black pepper in the stick and different sweet berry flavors in the chocolate. It was super tasty! You can also participate in their social media (SNS) campaign by posting a picture of your experience from the bar online with the hashtag #AmazonBar to get a free drink from the SNS Campaign counter (one beer: Yebisu Meister, Heineken, or Hoegaarden, or a Maker’s Mark highball).

Tips, Suggestions, and Review

Get there early! Even in the rain, we got there one hour before opening and were about 20th in line. If you don’t show up before opening, be prepared to wait a while.

You only have two hours once you’re there, so go in knowing whether or not you’re ordering food. If you order right as you arrive, you’ll have more time to enjoy your snacks.

Do the SNS campaign! It’s an easy way to get a small complimentary drink. If you don’t have social media, just tell the servers and they’ll negotiate some other way for you to participate in the offer.

The bar itself is very spacious!

Overall, I was incredibly pleased with my experience! I’m very happy I was able to experience this place before it disappears into the ether. If you’re in the area the next week or so, I’d highly recommend going in and giving it a go!
