thinking about ava ferin lives au. (break for spoilers to 101)

the day of the massacre lizzie convinces her to become a pirate with her. shadowbeard either would’ve lived, or have been killed in the attack that killed ava originally.

jay would’ve never left home to figure out who killed her sister. her sister would be marked as a traitor. OR. would still be pronounced dead to keep a good image of the navy.

going off them marking her a traitor, jay would probably have a different kind of hate for pirates. not because they killed her sister, but because her sister chose them over coming home to her. maybe she’d stay with the navy, maybe she would try to find the crew ava joined. maybe she would still end up undercover.

i think she’d still end up becoming a pirate too, in the end. just be slightly more resentful in the beginning. just not understanding why her sister would choose them over her.

but then ava and lizzie can be cool badass captains together and ava and jay can hug when they see each other again and it would be great :)!
