Yibo, you should go back to Yangshuo, domestic entertainment is too dangerous

Liu Yongbang, Yibo's climbing instructor from Exploring the Unknown, made a post on Weibo discussing the dangerous situation Yibo was in.

Last night, Wang Yibo showed admirable professionalism and dedication in his wirework performance at Hunan Satellite TV's New Year's Eve concert. He perfectly presented a difficult performance on stage, leaving the audience with no signs of panic.

However, there are huge safety hazards behind the performance.

During the rehearsal, it was discovered that there was a problem with the main lock connected to the wirework. The door of this main lock could not rebound and could not be closed properly, indicating that the equipment provided by the wirework company was not only old (and a three-no product), but also had serious quality problems.

However, the staff responsible for the installation of the wirework failed to check and repair this hidden danger carefully, and let him take the risk to go on stage. What is more worrying is that this main lock looks like a three-no product, which does not meet professional safety standards, adding great risks to the performance.

During the formal performance, Wang Yibo completed all the movements with a high degree of concentration, and even did not show any panic at the high-risk moment of flipping in the air, covering up the dangerous hidden dangers under the perfect performance.

However, it is behind this perfection that the helplessness of the actors performing with their lives and the inadequacy of industry safety management are exposed. If the flipping action is slightly deviated, the consequences will be disastrous.

what’s with the kadian 16:23?

we have a couple of number combinations that have meaning to the fandom and this one is making the rounds lately. primarily because xzs have been posting material related to this album at this time. i understand 10:00 and 10:05, even 10:30, 11, 12, 13:00 but for some reason the 16:23 has been very consistent and too specific. the conversation around it and digging up times related to it became louder because of how xzs featured this specific time on their video from friday. personally, 16 to me is yibo’s number and 23 is ofcourse love zhan. so putting that together in a bjyx-kadian-biased way made sense to me.

maybe it’s as simple as someone from xzs team asking gege if there is a specific posting time he wants and he said 16:23.

if we are going by that assumption, then these may be some reasons why it’s important…

1. I’m seeing some throw in the explanation that this may be a substitute to 18:23. It may be too sus to use this repeatedly when everyone knows what it means lol. So 16:23 may be a safer choice, those who know that 16 is yibo’s number will understand. and not many are aware of this fact. He also allegedly has a fake account called ASAP16

2. XZ has used 1623 license plate before which i understand is stalker information and more likely than not out of their control. I’m just putting it out there.

3. Back in 2020, WYB bday post was a shoe. This was back when he was a Nike boy. But the posting of 16:23 is unique and why would he choose that for a special day.

4. This is more of the number 16, there was a LRLG rumor where it appears they are talking about this pig doll with a 16 on it. I really think that this kadian is directed more towards the 16 to represent Yibo.

🔴: "Well, you're pretty good at taking care of yourself."

Wang laoshi then just locked the phone and refused to reply? Hahahahahaha. It was a little piggy doll wearing a hat with the number "16" on it. Very cute

5. There are other times that XZS posted at this time and one if for the new year and GG’s bday. I’d like to think that this has always been a favorite but it’s more in our face with the album promotion.

compared to other kadian, this is one that may need more time to be fully realized. i find it significant that out all the songs, Lighthouse got the 16:23 written all over it. if you believe that it’s a song for yibo, then maybe the 16:23 is really what we think it is. 🫶🏼

lastly, another cpn connected to this is how xzs skipped to post anything on GRA weekend. but to me this was more of professional courtesy to this important event. xz and his team most likely didn’t want to be mistaken as trying to overshadow anyone. there are other times where i think their studios are coordinated in order to not clash — for example this tuesday, the main release time for XZ materials is 10:00 and WYB’s magazine release is 12 onwards — but this incidence ( at least to me ) is not one of those.

Incident Information: December 8th, 12:30pm literally during my lunch break, Desire Diamonds Boutique

Responding Officer: god hates me Officer Jiang Feng

Reporting Party: like for real Officer Jiang Feng

Victim/Suspect Information:

Victim: me Officer Shen Yi, off-duty forensic artist and giver of gray hair

Suspect: Wang Yibo wtf, 39, convicted of bank robbery in 2004 how DARE you besmirch the name

Witness Information: A group of teens who claim to not have seen much always on those damn phones

Narrative:

Listen I can explain just LISTEN

Jiang Feng reports that after a morning meeting at the precinct about an ongoing jewelry heist investigation, he and Officer Shen went to a nearby coffee shop to pick up coffee for the precinct NOT Zhang Xie, he knows what he did. As Officer Feng was finally ordering my first coffee of the day, Officer Shen suddenly exclaimed “I’ve got it,” and left quickly just another Tuesday so far.

Officer Feng followed Officer Shen five minutes later like hell I was leaving without a latte and discovered that Officer Shen had somehow ascertained witchcraft idk that the robber fake-ass Wang Yibo would be breaking into the back of the nearest closed jewelry store. Officer Shen made the decision to enter the premises and cause problems on purpose, resulting in a hostage situation. Once Officer Jiang located Officer Shen LOJACK TBD, he was immediately forced to take cover, as Wang began firing a gun at him while using Officer Shen as a human shield spilled my latte in the process, so arguably Shen Yi and I were both in a bad spot.

Officer Jiang called the precinct’s Captain Du Cheng see above about god hating me and reported the situation. Captain Cheng wove a tapestry of obscenities we can hang on the wall by the notice board was understandably upset about the condition of his subordinate interesting pet name and immediately mobilized multiple officers to the scene.

Captain Cheng arrived and took over what had previously been an unsuccessful negotiation shut up, resolving the situation in record time shut UP. Wang Yibo was apprehended and taken to jail you could say he was tamed LOL get it, Officer Shen was escorted to the hospital to receive medical aid for like two bruises meanwhile I have actual coffee burns, and the precinct later reassembled and discussed the event.

Officer Jiang is getting fired probably received notice that Captain Cheng would discuss the issue with him in greater depth tomorrow yeah fired and the meeting broke up soon after, as Captain Cheng left to pick Officer Shen up from the hospital they’re totally going on a sweet and tender date to like an abandoned pier or something and I’m stuck doing paperwork and STILL NO LATTE

A cracky Yizhan idea

I get so bored re-reading the same collection of stories to my kiddo every night that I've started fantasizing fic ideas into the scenarios to cope. Most of them are simple retellings of fairytales and I like to give them the 'ole LGBTQ twist now that I'm back into writing -- it's a female soldier that gets together with the princess, or it's a poor but handsome servant who gets the wish granted to go meet the prince. And then a few nights ago this idea spun out of my head...

Yizhan... but its Rapunzel...??

Wang Yibo, handsome prince and heir to a small kingdom. Restless, full of wanderlust to see the world around him, which is a fine way to escape the doldrums of court intrigue and the endless bickering.

Xiao Zhan, devastatingly handsome and blessed with a beautiful singing voice, thought he was finding a better life for himself but ends up getting kidnapped at a young age and locked away in a tower.

(Wajijiwa plays the evil witch? Or just a generic (yes this is a metaphor for the idol industry) character has Xiao Zhan trapped in his tower?)

Wang Yibo is riding through the forest one day and hears the most alluring but saddest singing voice through the trees. Follows it to the biggest tower he's ever seen. Circles it a hundred times trying to find a way up, listens to the stunning voice go through several heartbreaking songs, but eventually it becomes too dark and he has to give up and go home.

Comes back, day after day, lounging in the tallest trees near the tower, hoping for a glimpse of the owner of the voice. Is already half-way in love just listening to this person singing.

Finally witnesses the famous moment -- old witch comes out of the woods, stands at the bottom of the tower and calls up: "Zhanzhan, let down your hair!"

(Would I keep the hair trope? Not sure. We all love XZ with long hair though...)

WY watches the whole thing, about to vibrate off the tree in his excitement. Watches the witch leave. Goes back home to his castle and MAKES PLANS for operation "Meet Zhanzhan" that he will execute asap the next day.

WY goes back, calls for Zhanzhan, gets up into the tower. It's a giant mess of meet-cute with a splash of canon-typical violence when XZ starts throwing punches at the sight of a stranger coming over his window sill. Of course they eventually calm down, WY is charming and ready to woo, he's even brought gifts for his favorite singer. XZ is embarrassed his singing can be heard so well, but also flattered, and warms up quickly to having a new friend.

They talk for ages but eventually WY has to leave. XZ gives him a rough idea of the witch's visiting schedule so WY knows when its safe to come back.

Lots more clandestine meetings happen over the course of a month or so. WY is heavily smitten now that he's got the real thing in front of him, XZ is in love but (as typical) a bit slower to get with it. It's scary to have big feelings for the first person you've met since being locked up in a tower when you were twelve.

Eventually they have their first kiss/make-out session, and now when WY asks XZ to come with him he's all on board and ready to blow this joint. Tower life sucks when you've got a hot boyfriend that wants you to come live with them for the rest of your lives.

They make plans, all seems to be going well... until XZ accidentally drops the ball and lets his new relationship status slip to the witch during a visit.

Witch does witchy things, banishes XZ to some far off place. WY comes back to the tower and goes up the hair, only to get a face-full of ugly witch and then- then----- I can't even write it. Ugh. 🥺

So much angst. WY is blind and miserable and depressed and wanders around for what feels like forever and all he has left to go on is his love and devotion and conviction that he'll find his Zhan-ge again somewhere in the world.

One day WY hears a beautiful voice singing that makes his heart soar with happiness and rushes to find the arms of his love once more. They embrace, lots of ugly crying, some of XZ's tears get on WY's face -- bam, blindness cured. Turns out the witch was even more of a jealous prick than WY realized.

And they lived happily ever after 😁
