Hello! I asked Tarot: “What do your spirit guides want to tell you that you don't know of in regards to your question?” You have drawn the Daughter of Wands and the Mother of Wands. It looks as if two dominant females are being brought to your attention. Whoever these people represent have likely had a large impact on whatever you've been through and your spirit guides are likely warning you to be wary of them. I'm going to break down the personalities of these two individuals so that you might be able to identify them: 

The mother is a very strong but protective woman, while usually warm and sweet, you absolutely do not want to mess with her unless you want to get your head ripped off. She has a fiery temperament, creative and impulsive, but will not stand for anyone attempting to one up her, she will turn domineering to keep herself on top. 

The daughter is a free spirit and visionary, though unassuming she can be incredibly stubborn and would make your life a living hell if you stepped a foot wrong with them. She is likely to pull a tantrum if things don't go her way. While she is creative and fun she is also rather immature. 

This might not be representing two individual people but one person with both characteristics, whoever they are they are likely a dominant fire sign, so think Aries, Leo or Sagittarius. If this is representing one person with two cards it's likely that when they are acting mature they will be domineering but when they are not in charge they will be immature. It could be a warning about a friend or a relative. Due to it being a Mother and Daughter it could be representing your mother or a sister or maybe even you. 

If it is representing you in this situation and not another person I would say be careful by how you go about achieving what you want, you don't want to push people into uncomfortable situations by being domineering or immature.

For the first time ever, I used tarot as a method to try and contact Lord Apollo. I've been anxious about it for a while, but today the sun shone brightly and I saw some beautiful art of him, so I just.. felt compelled to give it a try. It went better than I ever could have expected and I truly do feel cared for, and that what I do in devotion to him is enough.

pulled some q!pac e mike cards last night before going to sleep won't go through all of them because I think some questions were too obvious, like, I asked what did Mike feel out of the ice and got the sun (joy, celebration, "the dawn which follows the darkest of nights") no shit sherlock, he's out of the ice. But anyway

What did Mike think out of the ice? king of cups (emotions!) which is about tempering your emotions, being calm etc. which tells me either that he'd gotten to a point after all that time where he's just focused on following the plan and his instinctive emotions & reactions have been controlled for it, or that he's trying his best to be that way.

What did he do right out of the ice? The tower in reverse which is about trying to avoid disasters, so that confirms for me that he thinks he's doing the right thing by trying to get people to be against Fit.

How does he feel about Pac? I got three of wands (which is the exact one Pac got on the celltw spread on what he'd do). He's determined to put a plan in motion and feels confident. (also! threes are about loyalty, the bond between people and inevitability aka that point where you cross a line that you can't get back from, usually more in a group sense than a duo, so I think it's very interesting that Pac previously and now Mike got threes) He wants to make a big move that he knows there won't be coming back from.

What does he want to do (in relation to Pac)? The cart on reverse. Agression, lack of control, want for control and obsession with your goals. Can also point to forceful love. He wants to control Pac and make him listen and have him on his side. What does he want to do to Pac? VII of swords. Deception, trickery, strategy, being sneaky and getting away with it. He wants to trick him with words (into mistrusting Fit probably). It also implies suspicion. I asked clarification on WHY he wants to trick him and got 2 of pentacles which is about balancing two sides of life aka he doesn't want Pac to be aware of whatever he's doing.

Then I asked how their next encounter would go for each of them and for Mike I got two of wands which is the previous phase to the 3 of wands, where you plan your next move but don't go through it quite yet. So there might be some backtracking and not so much of Mike being so agressive from the get go. He's trying to be smarter about it.

For Pac, he got two of swords which is about feeling stuck in the middle between two choices (or two people). This is the third two that's come out in this spread sooo serious decisions, opposite forces, having to take a side...

And then for the consequence of this encounter I got Ace of Pentacles reversed, which can be about a relationship that used to be stable and made you feel safe now making you feel anxious and vulnerable. It's also the opposite of new beginnings or taking a chance, so to me, I could see it pointing to them sticking with the familiar, to their history, and shutting everything else out to their detriment.

The Queen of Wands sits at the edge of her kingdom and faces what lies outside of it. The few details illustrated define this outside land as empty, maybe cold. To me it looks like a tundra, the opposite of the desert our queen hails from. 

What would place a monarch here? At the border of her domain and not safe within it? Is it her duty to keep the gate or is it her pride to represent her home to anyone visiting?

A Fae’s Magic. My take on how magic works and headcannons

And here we are!! My take on how I imagine the fairies magic working as well as my interpretation of Peris physical disability headcannon. I went with MS due to me getting optic neuritis last year and doing a shit ton of research into MS just in case! And now I get to show that research here! text below

IMAGE 1: A Faes Magic.

a fae get their magic from the Big Wand that gets stored as its own unique "information" in the fae's nervous system. Magic helps a fae's nervous syetm send signals to their wings to move and function as well as enhance the other functions of their nervous syetm. Leading to faster wound healing and immortality, gives them a 6th sense to other magic beings, greater balance and coordination when they change forms, and enhancement to their memory, learning, and thoughts.

now wands, everything must be done in moderation. A wand can help a fae have control over their magic, be more precise in casting magic, and for storing extra magic. Due to this a wand becomes an extension of a fae even to a point where a wand will float with their fae.

A fae will receive a rattle wand at birth due to their immature nervous systems causing large uncontrolled magic outbursts.

As a fae gets older it becomes more difficult to expel that magic. It's easier to control but magic back up becomes a real problem. Similar to how a nervous system can be overloaded with chronic stress, their nervous system can be overloaded with magic. This magic overflow will cause butterfly nausea, rainbow vomit, and a build up of confetti in their lungs and sinuses.

The most common occupation a fae will pursue is as a fairy godparent. Human kids wild imagination is a great way to expel extra magic. People will work in this field for selfish reasons but that's a different problem.

what about our pal Peri? Peri has magical Multiple Sclerosis.

Magical MS or M-MS similar to human MS, the immune system will attack the protective layer on nerve fibers causing communication problems for the nervous system.

This in fae's can cause the magic a fae can store to be decrease overtime. Fae with M-MS have weaker wings typically floating lower then their peers, numbness in limbs, lack of coordination no matter their form, slower recovery time, fatigue, and increased magic back up risk.

For Peri he first discovered this only a few years prior to the show after getting optic neuritis in their right eye.

Peri switched out his wand for his cane wand. A mobility and magic aid. By enclosing the star of his wand in a sphere it acts as extra storage for his magic decreasing his magic back up risk. It also helps with slowing down the process of his nervous system getting attacked by his immune system to ensure a fae's immortal life. He has an easier time floating and casting magic.

James Potter x slytherin!reader ♡ 750 words

There’s something wrong with you. James has been thwacking his wand against his book relentlessly for the past thirty minutes, and you’ve not done so much as cut a look his way. And he knows the jumper he gave you when you shivered is your least favorite (that, he would’ve avoided if all his others didn’t need to be washed), but you haven’t complained even once about how the knit itches against your skin. You’re only laid placidly on your stomach next to him on the bed, scribbling away at your notes with a familiar dent between your brows that seems yet deeper than usual. 

“Hey.” James bumps your shoulder with his lightly. “Have you started Slughorn’s essay?” 

“Mhm,” you hum distractedly. “Finished last night.” 

He grins. “Course you have. Any insights into what he meant by the second question? The wording’s stumped me.” 

You don’t even sigh reluctantly as you lean over to look at his parchment. James’ concern for you worsens. 

“I think he means that he wants us to theorize about a potential mixture by using our knowledge about existing ones.” 

“Ahh, I see.” James thought the same thing, but it never hurt anyone to get a second opinion, especially if that second opinion seemed to need cheering and thrived off academic validation. He plants a smacking kiss on your cheek. “Thanks, lovie.” 

“That’s just how I interpreted it,” you add. “I’m not certain.” 

“Yeah, okay.” James abandons his reading and rolls onto his side. “What’s going on with you?” 

“I’m just trying to do my homework, James,” you say tiredly, going back to your own parchment. 

“No,” he says certainly, “something’s wrong. You’ve just second-guessed your answer.” 

“And what? Just because I’m not positive means something has to be wrong?” You give him a sideways look, the first hint of annoyance he’s had from you all afternoon. It tells him he’s on the right track. 

“Something like that.” James reaches up to your temple, playing with your hair in the way you pretend to hate but secretly love. “Also, you were fine this morning but ever since you got back from class you’ve seemed down.” 

You harumph, as good as an admission. 

“Don’t hold out on me,” he coaxes. “Something happened during class, yeah?” 

You pretend to be reading something on your paper, not looking at your boyfriend. “Nothing important. Collins called me stuck up, but I hardly give a shit what she thinks.” 

James feels his eyebrows rise. “Siobhan said that?” 

You grunt in affirmation. 

“During class?”

“Well, she hardly waited ‘til we were in private.” 

He strokes down some of your baby hairs thoughtfully. “Sweetheart, do you remember last week in class when Siobhan tried to answer a question in Astronomy?” 

You scoff. “Yeah, she thought Jupiter had sixty five moons. What a dunce.” 

“Right. And you told her that to her face, remember?” 

“What’s your point, James?” 

“I’m just thinking,” he says carefully, “that Siobhan might’ve taken offense to that. And, perhaps, she may have wanted to try to embarrass you like you embarrassed her.” 

Your hair falls away from James’ fingers as you sit up, irate. “Well, that’s stupid,” you say. “I called her a dunce for missing an easy question, and she called me stuck up just because I did better on the Herbology quiz than her.” 

“Sounds like she’s jealous,” he agrees. “But I mean, it’s hardly your fault. You’re smart.” 

“I know!” James has to smother a grin at the return of his normal, confident girl. You cross your arms over your chest, huffy. “And I don’t even rub it in everyone’s faces all of the time, which I could.” 

“Best to let it lie, sweetheart.” He sits up to give you a kiss, pleased when you relax under his touch. “The poor girl’s already down in the dumps. Don’t let her get to you.” 

“You’re right,” you say, and now James can’t keep his grin at bay. That’s not something he gets to hear often. “Don’t look at me like that,” you snipe. “I’m just saying, she’s probably suffering enough. It would be difficult to be that dense.” 

James laughs. He plants another kiss on your lips, making you scowl. “That’s my girl.”
