Just thought of a small headcanon while writing a request, imagine if Wally has one of those little plush hearts inside him like they do for build a bear.

Maybe even a scent packet? I could imagine he smells like a swiss roll or something haha

Wouldn't that be absolutely adorable?? @:)

I plan on making a wally plush with these exact things in mind. My biggest goal is to write a little note with sweet things in it, put it in a tiny knitted heart, and comfortably secure it inside his chest.

That way I can truly say he was made out of everything nice!

M/n was a beauty, no one could lie. He was what most would call perfect and one of that most included Wally Darling, Welcome Home mafia leader, a cartoon man that was feared world wide.

The man called Mario payed him his money just as promised and Wally decided that an alliance couldn't hurt anyone but he needed some reassurance and that is what lead him to your home address as a little gift of alliance from Mario. He went alone, he just wanted to see the god like beauty of a singer not kidnap him which is what led to him entering your house through a window and hiding behind the couch waiting for M/n to arrive.

"Mr. Genapetti, I'm proud you managed to do something right for once by creating the alliance with Welcome Home now what angers me is that you keep trying to sell me...," Said M/n and Wally stayed quiet, curiosity poking at him while he looked at M/n take off his heels and corset which made the shirt reveal his stomach, only one botton holding the shirt together which made Wally blush and look away.

"Mario Genapetti, unless you want me to kill you I suggest you remember your role and not pull shit like last time when Mr. Darling was in my bar," said M/n making Wally perk up which made him hit his hand against the table next to the couch which made M/n stop dead in his tracks.

"Hold on a minute Genapetti, don't hang up if you know what is good for you," said M/n before walking towards the couch and seeing the curly blue hair and he knew who it was.

"Oh Mario, Mario, Mario. You better be in my office tomorrow in the morning, we shall have a talk, hmm?," Said M/n before hanging up his burner phone and breaking it in half, he picked Wally by the shirt and then put him down in the couch.

"Want some tea? I'm asking since the cat is out of the bag," said M/n while walking to the kitchen, Wally nodded and waited for M/n to walk back.

"You are the leader of the Hidden Pictures mafia, aren't you?," Asked Wally when M/n sat across from him, blowing his tea before taking a sip.

"That I am," answered M/n while looking at Wally with those beautiful eyes of his. Wally would have been struggling to talk in a different situation.

Hello again neighbors, it's been a while since I used this blog but I gonna start to change that now as I have been getting into Welcome Home again.

The story and extra information about the character will be below "read more" and credits to @fetusmeme for the character sheet template.

"Show introduction"

Acerola Suave is one of the older members of the community, but she hasn't been there as much as Wally Darling. Her background hasn't been touched so much in the show but with the bits of lore that she or someone else mentioned and even clues from inside her house, the story put together is as follows.

Acerola, who went from another name never revealed to the public, lived in a small town of reptiles like her, but she craved more, adventuring, self-discovery, and freedom. At some point, she met a guy with whom she had a son, but given that he isn't in the picture or living with her, is safe to assume that the guy either died or left.

Acerola got to the small town without knowing she ended up there, her house is in the forest near a swamp, so when she heard music, laughing, and chatting, she found out that she had arrived in a place like no other.

The books and episodes will often show Acerola not appearing in the neighborhood unless it's with her son or during an event like a party, or a holiday.

But when Waly and his friends go visit her, she's in her element, more talkative and expressive, using the help of her special bug cards, which are bugs she calls that form a position for her to read them, riddles, puzzles, and even branches from the trees, she's able to assist her neighbors with whatever issue they might be having if it involves nature.

However, Acerola would soon disappear from the books and episodes, there was even one titled "Good Bye to a Friend", where Wally, despite smiling, tells the viewer he's sad, that a friend of the neighborhood left, he doesn't know where they went or if they will even come back, or even write to them, but later, in a book, Wally tells the story of this episode in more detail, he says that is Acerola who he's missing, that she "sensed something" and left without a word, not even a goodbye letter, even her tarot bugs were gone.

"Inspirations"

Acerola is a gift/commissioned character for my sister, we were brainstorming the idea for a character cause she loved the art style, so I went ahead and gave her a heads up and we started thinking of ideas.

Immediately she suggested a chameleon, and I researched various species, but sadly I couldn't choose one, so I went with the generic route.

Her theming and personality align a lot with my sister IRL, she practices Tarot reading as well as witchcraft, claiming herself to be a nature witch, and she sometimes calls to talk about it or invites me to rituals, and they are quite a relaxing thing.

and her son is also a reference to her, my nephew!.

"Extra information"

Parents would complain a lot about Acerola smoking from a pipe in the books, but this was addressed quickly as The herbs were used to help Acerola deal better with her mental health;

on the other hand, solo mothers would praise the authors for showing the pretty and the ugly when it comes to raising a child on their own, Wally often showing up to babysit or keep an eye on Lua, as well as the other characters, Howdy seems to be the one who gets asked to watch over the little cricket the most, as the little guy has lots of fun with him;

Frank and Acerola share a lot of bug fun facts with each other;

She and Poppy get along extremely well, most fans assume that is because of Poppy's motherly nature while Acerola has a son of her own, they also think that perhaps Poppy acts as a teacher to little Lua.

Kiyoomi knocked on the door, waiting for Atsumu to reply, but there was no answer in return!

Atsumu had asked him to wait outside; she was confused between two outfits she wanted to wear for her cousin's wedding, and Kiyoomi, who would tell her she looked like the most beautiful person even when she was wearing her old torn clothes, was the judge!

 

Kiyoomi had been waiting outside for more than half an hour, and with every passing minute, his tension was increasing. He knocked on the door again, calling out to her.

 

"Atsu? Baby, are you done?"

"Love? Are you okay?" He called out again, debating whether to break it. He heard the click of the door, and instead of Atsumu putting on a fashion show for him as she usually does, she ran towards her bed, hid under the blanket, and blew her nose, throwing out the tissue paper and screaming.

 

"Omiomi, I'll pick it up laterr, promise!"

 

Kiyoomi groaned, but this was not the time to get disgusted; Atsumu had a running nose, and the only reason she could have one was if she had cried! And Kiyoomi had promised himself never to see tears come in Atsumu's eyes; whoever had caused this should better be prepared; Kiyoomi would take Atsumu's revenge!

Atsumu's outfits were laid out perfectly, with jewellery still in their boxes, the makeup products untouched, and a half mehendi cone lying with stained tissue papers beside it!

 

Kiyoomi sat down besides Atsumu, gently caressing her arm and sliding the chocolate he found on the side table inside the blanket, hoping it would get her out, and it did!

 

Atsumu grins as she slowly comes out like a tortoise and gives Omi her prettiest smile. Kiyoomi's hand immediately went towards her face, wiping down the wetness from her cheek.

 

"Are you okay, darling?" He asked once Atsumu had finished eating. Atsumu looked hesitant but gave up once she saw the determination on his face. Kiyoomi was not going to give this up.

Sighing, Atsumu showed Kiyoomi her mehendi, stained hands.

 

"Well, I wanted to try some nice designs! Mehendi would look soo good with these outfits, so i decided to try, checked some YouTube videos- IN THAT THE LADY DOES IT SOO QUICKLY AND EASILY!! BUT- but when I went to try- well, it was a disaster, like, I can't even draw a straight linee!" Atsumu cried,

 

"When I was a kid, I always wanted to put mehendi on, but you know, no one would let me EXCEPT that one time Rima-

My cousin..... The BRIDE" Atsumu continued as Kiyoomi nodded, finally understanding.

 

"Now where was I-haa, except that one time Rima practised on my hand and told everyone that it was a tattoo art, I wanted to surprise her, with a similar design, but it's just too muchh" She sulked 

 

Kiyoomi chuckles as he gets up and searches for something.

 

"HEY! DON'T LAUGH AT ME ITS A VERY SERIOUS MATTER OMI!!" 

 

'Did you know, love? The 15-year-old Kiyoomi wanted to be a tattoo artist. He wanted Tattoos all over his body, small, big, large, tattoos of every size, with small intricate details that he was convinced no one else could ever do, so he practised, practised on paper, practised with pens with different kinds of pens, practised on his body till he was decent in it, so um, do you want me to channel that Kiyoomi? He will do some decent work!" he asks with a sweet smile, sitting back down.

 

Atsumu giggles as she nods her head and starts showing the design she wanted.

Kiyoomi paid attention to every little detail; all the flowers matched, and all the dots were perfectly aligned!

 

"You're giving some serious competition to the mehndi wali didi, Omi!" Atsumu giggles, poking his thigh with her toes.

 

"That mehendi wali dhidhi-"

"DI-DI"

"Yes, mehendi wali didi! She is no one in front of me!" Kiyoomi smirks

 

"But wait, why didn't you get your mehendi done from her, babe? I remember seeing you sitting over there!"

Atsumu goes quiet; she really didn't want to remember all that, but she knew Kiyoomi wouldn't let it go, so she made him give a promise.

 

First, you promise me you won't do anything!"

"Atsumu, what happened?'"

 

Fuck, he took her full name, NOT GOOD.

 

"Omi- first promise me! Otherwise, Im not going to tell you ANYTHING," she stressed.

 

"Atsumu-"

"NO! Promise me first!" She says, putting her palm forward.

 

Reluctantly, he promised, He can ask for forgiveness later!

 

"Okay so, so you know how she is, no?"

"Who?"

"Aunty, Rima- rima's mother, how she, well, quite literally outed me in front of everyone? I told you about her, no." Atsumu whispered

 

"Did she do anything?" Kiyoomi asked worriedly.

 

"Nothing special, she was doing what she normally does, telling everyone around her how I used to be such a 'nice boy, how I have spoiled the 'Khandan ki izzat' nonsense, how she doesn't want to involve my mom and Samu because of my 'influence' and other things. I usually take it, Omi, but then she started speaking badly about you, Ma, and Samu, and that was something I couldn't take, so I just got up and left. I really didn't want to create a scene; I know how important this is to Rima, and I wanted to be there for her, Omi! But I just couldn't!" Atsumu cried; she didn't want to, but the tears just started rolling down her face.

 

"You know, when I was a child, she was my favourite aunt! She would always buy me things! Would always take my side whenever I used to cause some trouble! Uhh who knew the one who loved me the 'most' would suddenly want me dead-"

 

"Atsumu, you know you don't have to tolerate this! I can book the next flight tickets and-"

 

"Omi, you promised!"

 

"But Atsu!"

 

"I want to stay, Omi! I want to stay for Ma, I want to stay for Samu, I want to stay for Rima! AND I WANT TO STAY FOR US! I don't want anyone to think of us- of me as someone different! I want everyone to know that they can't break me. I mean, it does hurt sometimes, but because of that, I have become stronger! NOW DONT CRY OMI-OMI." Atsumu squeals, wiping down the tears running down Kiyoomi's face!

 

"And ANYWAYS! This is the last function with Aunty; after Rima, only two people are left to get married: me and Samu, and I don't think we are going to call her! She put me through lots of trauma and gave Ma and Samu unnecessary tension! No one is going to call her! So now it's just a matter of bearing her for a few days!" She continues, giving him a small peck on the lips.

 

"Now Stop crying and finish the mehendi, Omi!" Otherwise, it will dry! And it will be a mess!"

"Yes ma'am!"

"And after this, you have to dress me up in the saree!"

"WHAT!? WAIT BABE-"

"OMI! My hands will be full of mehendi! You want me to spoil my beautiful saree?"

"But how will I?"

"YOUTUBE!"

"YOUTUBE?"

 

It took him an hour to wrap the saree and another hour to figure out the jewellery, and the day ended with them going on a small 'watching the sunset' date that Kiyoomi had planned for his precious Girlfriend!

 

Well, the aunty somehow ended up with her face coloured with pakka colour on the Haldi day, and no one could figure out who did it. In the distance, Kiyoomi and Osamu just drank the chaas that was being served, and Atsumu, at the side showing Rima her mehendi, all four of them totally unbothered by the chaos!

This of course upset Wally but he tried to compose himself and convince him to stay with him forever and maybe even bring the rest of the family so he wouldn't be alone. He tried to dance around trying not to get Wally upset and said he would think about it. During this time, he would also meet another summoned into the world like Doli Daring daughter of Dorothy Darren, one of the people who worked on the show. They both would be turned into puppet themselves, find homes that originally belonged their parents/grandparents, and uncover secrets about the darkness plaguing the world. When they defeated the darkness and destroyed home they finally decided that everyone need to know about Welcome Home and he fully reconciled with Wally and promised his studio would bring them back. On that note, he was allowed to go back to the real world but with the knowledge he could finally have Wally be known. * Just like Wally, his favorite food are apple related stuff. * He gets Deshawn Dashing, Doli's brother, to work for him in computer graphics. * His dad died in 1990. * Maury is his mother's maiden name. * His father was originally from Alabama. * He took up painting as a side job due to the influence of Wally. * When the evil is defeated he does try to find other members of the crew still around to get more info out about Welcome Home. * He does find it peculiar when Wally forms a relationship with Doli since he saw him as a brother figure when he was younger but just lets it be since again age is different for a puppet. * When he revives Welcome Home he makes it more explicit from his father's notes which characters are lgbt and brings more diverse og characters. * He starts going by Dorelaine professionally after the evil inside Welcome Home is purged. * While unlike Doli, he doesn't stay in Welcome Home most of the time, he does visit time to time with some of the rest of his family and can still turn into his puppet form.
