It's been a while since I've been here, hasn't it? I haven't been able to draw. Sorry.

However, something changed it!

Here's one of my biggest theories regarding the shenanigans in Welcome Home, summarized in one sentence:

Wally is sick.

oh i started something goofy back in September where i wanted to attempt Rendering but this has just been in my art program for too long i lost my attention span on it u_u Please allow me to throw this out here and have peace of mind because i really really enjoyed coloring some cereal, its sooo PRETTY full version below, there's Wally! I DID enjoy his hair but here here, have my unfinished work

the only asks i could find that mention this explicitly are from 2020, so i don't know how much water they still hold, but i think a lot about how one of the inspirations for wally's character writing back when clown first picked welcome home back up was dr. habit from smile for me. obviously no telling for certain how that influence will manifest in future updates, but i think it's Very Interesting, given how both characters seem kinda Obsessed with fulfilling the image of some fictional archetype (i.e. habit trying his damnedest to embody the idea of a cartoon supervillain to subconsciously justify his own self-loathing and [at least in one ending] suicidal ideation VS wally being So devoted to his role as an audience surrogate that even now, nearly 50 years after the show has ended, he insists on being our guide as we try to unravel whatever the fuck happened here.

Considering that I've been working on this for TWO MONTHS while having other stuff to finish and draw, I just decided to speed the coloring, shading, etc. Thank God, I still had the drive to finish this in one hour.😪 Here y'all go! 💕

I am genuinely so frustrated right now. I just woke up from a dream where there was a new season of Young Justice and I watched like 3 and a half episodes before I woke up, and they were good, but they aren’t real and I’m already forgetting some of them and I’ll never get to finish the season!
