You take a deep breath, trying to chill your nerves. ‘It’s not like I should be nervous, I’m totally not going on a first date with the guy I’ve liked since I started teaching at U.A.

You were a teacher at U.A High. Currently teaching a third year class. And had been working at U.A for 6-7 years. During that time, you may or may not have developed a crush on a certain coworker of yours. And that coworker may or may not have asked you out on this date.

You shake your head and take another deep breath, there’s no need to be nervous, we both have mutual feelings for one another, and have known each other for eight years... But still this is our first date.

‘I just have to ignore these thoughts and just go in there, if I’m late he’ll probably think I stood him up.’ With that thought in mind, you walk inside.

There isn’t lot of people, but what lacks in people, it makes up for in cats. They’re cuteness makes your heart swell, and what makes your heart swell more is the sight of Aizawa playing with the kitten that wondered of to his seat near the back.

You finally decide to walk over to the table, in hopes he would spot you.

“I’m going to put in our orders.” He says. “Oh and don’t bother trying to pay.” He notes as you reach for my card. You blush ‘god he’s such a gentleman sometimes’

“Okay. Thank you.” You mange to choke out. He nods again and turns around. But not before you notice a smirk on his face ‘damnit, he saw me blush didn’t he?’ But you push that thought away, there’s no reason to get embarrassed about blushing, it’s a natural human reaction.

He comes back two drinks in hand and sets yours down in front of you. “Thank you! For getting my drink and paying” I say and take a sip of my drink, basking in the amazing flavors.

“It truly is not a problem.” He says, looking away from me with a slight tint of pink in his cheeks. He sits back down and also takes a sip of his drink.

“We should go play with the cats!” You say excitedly. You know he loves cats, and they bring a smile to his face, you like seeing him smile.

“You can go ahead, but I think I’ll stay here.” He responds, causing to to pout.

“It won’t be as much fun with out you though! And I know deep down you truly want to play with them.” You say pouting, giving him your best puppy eyes

“Please?” You ask him again.

With a huff and a sign, he says “fine.” And he rolls his eyes. He truly does love cats, and you, but that’s not important, and he totally didn’t just say yes so he could see your face brighten up with joy. He liked seeing you happy, even if he would never admit it to himself.

You smile. “Yes!” Your fist pumps in the air. This was a victory to celebrate, getting Aizawa to interact and have fun when he truly wanted to.

You both walk over to the cats play area, and sit down. You reach for a toy, as does Aizawa. But he doesn’t use it much.

He’s to busy watching you try and coax a cat to come and play with you. And when one finally does come over, he’s to busy relishing in the sound of your laughter, wishing in could last forever.

He’s to busy to notice that a cat had also wondered over to him, and proceeded to play with the toy in his hand. And when he doesn’t pay the cat any attention, it starts to claw at him. That’s when he notices

“Ow!” He semi-shouts, pulling his hand away from the toy. Your eyes quickly snap to him, worrying he might be hurt badly, but you laugh when you realize that the cat he had been playing with just scratched him.

“Are you okay?” You ask trying to suppress your laugh.

“Yeah, it just surprised me is all.” He responds. Embarrassed at the loud reaction he had.

“Are you sure? Your bleeding.” You ask concerningly. Worried that he might actually be in pain.

“It’s fine, just a cut, I’ve definitely handled worse.” He reponds and shakes his head. But you take his hand anyways, leading it back to your table, where your bag was.

You take out your mini first aid kit, and grab a bandaid, Neosporin, and a cotton swab. You look back at his hand and gently whip the blood away, then apply the Neosporin, carefully rubbing it into the cut.

He hisses. And you let out a soft laugh. “I know it hurts, but it’s better to deal with the pain now than having it get infected.” He nods at your statement, it was very much true, but that didn’t stop the pain.

When you put on the bandaid he was shocked to see his own hero costume. “Why am I on the bandaid?” He asks

“I don’t really know, I just got a large viraity pack of hero bandaids, it didn’t say all of the designs.” You shrugged.

You looked at the time and realized it was a bit late. “I should head home soon, it’s getting a little late.” You say, and he nods. You walkto the counter to ask for two to-go cups.

After retrieving said to-go cups, you walk back to the table, handing him the second one.

“Thank you.” He said. And you nod. “Not just for the cup though. Thank you for cleaning the scratch up.” You smile, it’s the least you could do, he payed for the date, even asked you out on it.

“It’s not a problem, it’s really the least I could do.” He looks like he’s about to argue, be decides not to, and leaves it be. He has all the time in the world to show you how much you truly deserve.

Again sorry if I didn’t nail his character right, I’m planning on reading the Manga(I’m so far only about 2-3 chapters past where season 4 ends(I skipped all the way to that point because I tried reading the first chapter, and saw that it wasn’t that different from the anime). And hopefully, I can read it and learn more about not only Aizawa, but the rest of the characters!
