@philemonchambers Final mini recap of my trip to Washington for #creationdc . I had the best time from start to finish and meet so many beautiful faces. Thank you’s go out to many people but the big one goes out to y’all! This wouldn’t have been possible if you didn’t bombard @creationent with requests and I’m so appreciative. Awe! I'm so glad Philemon had a great time! It looks like he and his mom were busy. I hope he gets invited back so more people have the opportunity to meet such a precious soul!

Keegan and Mitch have been added to the Las Vegas Creation Convention! They have individual photo ops and a group photo op with Jared!

And Katherine McNamara will be there as well representing WIndy! No Walkerverse group photo packs available but I'm sure it'll still be fun!

Agree 100%. Everything that needs to be said has already been said, and one panel freeing up space for Jared to do Walkerverse panels, (fun) and Jensen to do TW panels (hilaribad car wreck) would be a nice change.

This is so true! I was looking at all of the different photo op combinations for Dallas and they're really pulling out all the stops.

Obviously, Misha is being paired with everyone he has the remotest connection with because there's more money for him, but Tom and Mitch? That one especially had me scratching my head. (Yeah, I know they've both played Samuel Campbell, but have they ever acted together?)

If they are adding more Walkerverse faces, I hope they keep the panels separate and don't make them share the stage with Misha or the cast of TW.

Can't think of anything worse than having someone as cultured as Kat stood fielding questions next to Meg I watch Spongebob every day Donnelly.

Or a Heller asking them what they thought of the bi lighting in that compilation of Destiel clips they watched on YouTube.

I doubt that will happen. Misha doesn't even share a panel unless there's a cancelation.

With Kat's photo ops being on Friday, if there is a panel, I expect it will happen on that day. I know Vegas is a 4-day con, but a large majority of people still only show up for J2 Sunday, so it would make sense for Creation to schedule other guests on the quieter days to try and pull in additional money guests.

Maybe a bit premature since the con is still underway but I felt like there weren't enough Misha ops on the SPNdallas tag on Twitter. Even the ones there were posted mostly were duo ops with either of the Js. Perhaps it can be attributed to not too many M/destial fans attending or probably not having too many on the ground that would actually bother going to cons.

Yes he still manages to rake in 500 - 600 likes on his pics but it really looks like those that will actually shell out money have been dwindling. They sort of expect others to provide content. Hope this trend continues.

Also, Jensen pulling all the stops with the SNS performance which clearly had a bearing the numbers were up than usual. Things really do seem stressed for the con business

Sorry for the delay, anon. I've just been catching up. I'm afraid it's been a busy weekend for me! (I dread any weekend that requires the alarm in the mornings.)

I think the amount of photo ops in general has dropped a bit. The US is in a recession and photo ops are quite expensive. It could also be that Misha fans aren't tagging their ops in the SPNDallas tag. Though I did see more Mishalecki ops than normal. (I too, hope there are fewer hellers attending cons.)

Jensen attended SNS again? Dare I ask if he did any actual singing? LOL! I don't recall this being announced ahead of time, and if it was a surprise appearance, it wouldn't really have done anything to boost attendance numbers. Either way, I hope the Walkerverse cast had a good showing.

I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if Drake was even advised by a certain someone (*cough* Jensen *cough*) to demand the max possible amount of money he could. As you said hellers and AA's aren't smart with their spending habits so it makes sense. Still that's not going to save TW.

Also I think it's a smart idea for Walker and WIndy actors to charge less because more fans will be able to afford photo ops and autos with them? Maybe that's a deliberate move on their part?

It's possible he was advised by Jensen, but then, why wouldn't he have told JoJo the same thing? @walker-extended-universe posited that Creation possibly upped the cost because Drake is charging more for his appearances, which could also be likely.

I think the reason the Walkerverse actors are charging less (with the exception of Mitch who deserves to charge more based on his reputation and resume alone), is that they see conventions as a side-gig that puts a little extra money in their pocket, but it's not something they depend on to pay the bills. Whereas, with Drake... it's very possible he needs the income from the cons.

It's such a pity that Jared can't really be fully at ease on Supernatural cons (for a show he effing lead for 15 years) because of mainly his friend's nasty fans. We know Jared thinks highly of Jensen no matter what we do and thats cool, but yeah. He can't even do photo ops with him without Jensen fans doing something disrespectful. At least at this con he has wife there too and two fellow actors/friends who do nothing but gush and support him.

That’s exactly why we keep saying that Jared should stop doing Creation cons. With the Walkerverse casts, he’s loved and respected. There’s no need for him to be around the toxicity that is the SPN extras and their fans.

And I don't know if its new for him and that's maybe some novelty of it (I don't know if PLL did cons and if he got to attend them if they did so I don't know what his con experience is like). But he just seems happy to be there. It brings a very Jared energy - someone who seems to truly enjoy engaging with and meeting fans. I know its still a job and they're still getting paid but for many actors you can tell the ones who are only in it for the paycheck and the ones who seem happy to interact with fans. Some you can see their "con persona" turn on and off when they aren't on stage, doing ops, etc. And some just keep up that happiness and energy the whole time.

If only we could get an entire Walkerverse con with Keegan, Jared, and other Walker favorites, alongside the WIndy cast with Philemon, Katie, Kat, etc. We've already seen how appreciative many of them are towards the fans, and I know Kat enjoys conventions. What a fun trip that would be!
