Because I'm going to make a fake drama series spanning several sites through the format of one video transcript, I figured I should lay out the usernames/monikers of everyone involved just for reference. (I posted Ashleigh-Sue Cunningham's Reddit and realized that it didn't make much sense without attaching her name to it.) As I come up with more names, I'll update this post. I'll also put some thoughts behind why they might choose certain things under the cut.

Drew Cain: Wahooligan (YouTube/Twitch),

Elton Castle: The Haunted Castle (YouTube), ShirleyHaunted (Twitch), thehauntedcastle (public-facing social media), modestymouse (Discord, personal social media, Reddit)

Tiff Sheridan: atomiclime66 (Tumblr), atomiclime (everything else)

Ben Baker: phantomofevelot (Discord, Reddit), codebenbaker (Instagram, TikTok)

Randy Cunningham: dairykingest (Instagram), king-of-dairy (TikTok, YouTube-- also Randy Cunningham, King of Dairy), throwaway99076 (Reddit, specifically for this), zombieibarelyknowher (Reddit, normally)

garfcheeks: garfcheeks (that's just garfcheeks. he's always there.)

Tiff doesn't really use social media. She canonically has a Tumblr that she uses occasionally, mostly for her job (she set up a second blog for the agency, and she runs that; her personal one is atomiclime). 66 is the atomic number for dysprosium. She would have gone with radium (god, she loves radium), but she didn't want to seem like a Nazi.

Elton has a bit of an eye for branding, so having their surname in their username (and changing everything to reflect that) makes sense to me; but they, like Tiff, and like their mother, have a bit of a love for Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables. Plus, they're a red-headed Canadian, so why not? That's where the "Shirley" bit comes from.

For Ashleigh, "screamin pink" is a misremembering of "shocking pink" (the Crayola color). Also, she likes guns.

Vis a vis "modestymouse": Elton just really likes Modest Mouse. That's all there is to it.

phantomofevelot is, honestly, a really dorky choice on Ben's part. In-universe, there's a horror movie called Camp Bloodshed; and, in the universe of that movie, based on the canon of the sequel, Burderer 2 (which was, yes, the sequel to a different movie and also a Thanksgiving slasher where one of the surviving characters was revealed to have a turkey-based petplay fetish-- good for him), Blake Abbott, one of the protagonists of the original movie, is revealed to have gone on to write a fairly successful series of fantasy novels about a lesbian knight as a way to remember his, his wife's, and their friend's dead friend Zero, who was out and proud at a pretty homophobic time. The actor who played Blake wrote those novels as a way to get into the character's head, published them, used them as props in Burderer 2 and probably let Ace's actor use them in Slashing Mr. Snow and so on and so forth; so it's a piece of Camp Bloodshed that exists in the real world. The protagonist is this kind of... fast-food-worker-older-brother-type lesbian? If you know what I mean? Very slouchy and foul-mouthed, very good with getting women and not with keeping them, and so on; and she's named, crucially Evelot. Ben's very familiar with these books. There's a set of them in the library where he and Tiff went to school (checked out fairly often by, funnily enough, one Caroline Bradshaw, back in the nineties). One of the novels involved has a plot element where she's haunted by some phantom of the self. That's honestly a lot of information about it. Probably too much. I think about this a lot.
