happy scamp with his sweet waggytails and his paws go a-skitter when he’s so excited he is trapped in the FIGHT between doing his puppy hop hops and a lil oh-boy-oh-boy play bow and he is still learning to be brave and make noise so he goes “brrrrrRUF!!!! :D”

I saw late yesterday it was #nationaladoptashelterpetday, so let's catch up today with some wonderful shelter pets. We rescued Zoey from SOCIAL TEES ANIMAL RESCUE FOUNDATION after they pulled her from a kill shelter in Barstow, CA after she'd been found in a massive hoarding situation. And I've been lucky to help out Waggytail Rescue by photographing some of their new animals and tough cases and you can see some of them below. Meet Mac! You can call him captain if you want but he's not a stickler for rank. Mac is an incredibly sweet 6 year old 6 lb chihuahua in NYC available for adoption from @waggytailrescue and he loves belly rubs and being with his person. He does have cataracts in his left eye and a heart murmur but neither slows him down. His heart may have a murmur but it's big and full of love. And he's absolutely cool being your Instagram dog. I had no problem getting him to pose in hats or clothes, even being completely new to him and with lights and equipment. Please contact Waggytail if you or someone you know might be interested in adopting this lovely pupper. And it's so good to be doing this again. I was shooting these for Waggytail before covid but that put a stop to it for a while. But happy to be doing it again. Don't miss out on Mac!
