Sweet and Savory Breakfast

Okay so I was actually thinking this morning that I promised lunches and dinners, but I'm gonna spread it to breakfast too.

This one is actually one of my favorites that I end up cooking like...every morning.

Here's what you need:

1 Eggo Homestyle Waffle - 90 cal

4 Egg Whites - (roughly) 70 cal

1 Butterball Natural Inspirations Turkey Sausage Patty - 45 cal

1/2 a serving of Frozen Dark Cherries - 50 ish cal, but it can vary by brand...

Any seasonings you want, I chose Turmeric, salt, pepper, paprika, garlic, and dried minced onion.

Olive Oil Pam Spray

1 Tbsp of Water

Should be around 255 calories with 27.9g of Carbs, 5.7g of Fat, and 21.9g of Protein.

Here's What You Do:

Wafflle-

🥞 The waffle is the easy part, pop that bad boy in the toaster for 4ish minutes

Eggs-

🥚 Crack the eggs and be careful when separating the yolk and white of the eggs.

🥚 Crumble up the turkey sausage into the egg whites.

🥚 Add the tbsp of water and your seasoning then beat it like it owes you money.

🥚 Take a pan and spray it with some Pam. You do not need to use a whole lot of pam. This is a lesson I learned the hard way.

🥚 Let the pan heat up to medium heat (or like around 7. Whichever works)

🥚 Add your eggs and let them thicken up a little bit then please remember to stir your eggs until there is little to no liquid left.

Cherries-

🍒 Weigh out or seperate out your cherries, whichever way you pick.

🍒 Put them in a microwave safe container and microwave at 30 second intervals until the cherries are warm.

Here's How To Plate:

Honestly, plate it however you want to, but keep the eggs away from the waffle and put the cherries on top of the waffle. I threw some salt on the cherries and waffles to emphasize the sweetness, it's a weird trick I learned from my pastor after he talked about salting watermelon.
