The reason for the absence is simple: I started my career as a consultant in visual storytelling and narrative design this autumn. As such, I've had to consolidate a lot of my work into building my business. That means that for the time being, BuildGuild will, unfortunately, be on pause until further notice.

An absolutely FANTASTIC rendition of my absolutely huggable fireball flinger Maxell done by the extremely talented @wackart-and-whatnot. They were a joy to work with and considering THIS came out of the arrangement, I’m gonna have to give a glowing recommendation.

it works! if you want to do it for a female character, though (”daughter of man”) it sounds pretty clunky imo

Do you have any good references for women wearing a dress while laying down? And/or tips on how to draw that? I'm doing an art project where I'm recreating a scene from TDC where's after Kira got stabbed and she's lying on the ground (as a side view) and I cannot get the dress to look right! I've tried googling "woman in dress lying down" but it's always women in short, skin-tight dresses, and not the longer, flowy-er ones I really need.

Evil Space Emperor Sauron

Ok so, @wackart-and-whatnot and I tend to love to put our muses in different forms of AU’s, and one of them is a... sort of Mass Effect-inspired space AU where Mairon/Sauron is an evil overlor of the Mordor Galaxy, and overall a predator who’s just...... Dangerous in any and all ways. 

And what is his goal? Aside from finding lovely little drells to chew? Well - The goal of course is to release the eldrich horror Melkor onto the universe. 

This is more eldrich than I’ve actually gone before, and I’m really REALLY happy with the result. 

Also wanna know something uncanny? As you can see on the flatcolor and outlines - he previously had two obvious nostrils, but in the finished product he doesn’t.... Those two black slits that are left, where a human’s eyes would be, are actually nostrils. That’s how he smells. He in fact only has one eye, and that is the one on his forehead. 

Yes those hair-tentacles can all move to his will.
