I love how right before the Cupid scene, Jason has to just fucking decide whether he’d homophobic or not. Like he still has very little memory of his past, for all he knew he could’ve been a massive anti-gay activist growing up. He could’ve been a misogynistic, racist transphobe who boycotted drag brunches and protested pride marches. But, in that moment, he’s faced with a choice. He has no idea if he’s even met a gay person before, he has no reason to show them any respect or human decency- it really doesn’t affect him. But he’s faced with that choice, and he chooses kindness.

You see, queerness isn’t a choice. Homophobia is.

Be more like Jason Grace. Choose kindness.

“Please, allow me to explain,” Isaac said, ducking to avoid the volley of assorted household items whizzed past his head.

Mina glared at him, an aptly named throw pillow held aloft, primed and ready.

“Time Travel” was all Isaac could get out before his mouth was violently filled with fabric and feathers.

“Who are you and what are you doing in my apartment?” Mina roared.

Isaac was about to continue when the moment was shattered by an infantile wail. Mina’s eyes went wide for an instant and she darted across the apartment, putting herself between Isaac and his younger self.
